Toyota diagnosis

I brought the car in for diagnosis and I was told by a Toyota adviser by the name of Thapelo Leutle who advice that I change the car battery on the 20/11/2018, this was post "diagnostic test" to which I took the advice but the car was not indicating and I was asked to bring the car the following day 21/11/2018 which I did but none of the technicians could solve the problem instead the gave me a quote for wiring assuming this would solve the indicators problem without even checking the indicator globes, it became clear that whatever they did on the 21/11/2018 messed up as when I got home the car died and it wont start, I gave Soweto Toyota manager by the name of Luyanda a call and advised her of my problem and she promised to bring a mechanic by the name of Lucky who never pitched.

Resolution to this is for this team to get someone qualified to check my car as clearly none of the people that were busy on the car know their job, I want my car to gotten back to a drivable state before 7:00 am on the 22/11/2018 as Lucky didn't honor his appointment and never cared to advice me and apologize, all they cared about was knocking off when I am stuck with a car that wont start. I want all parties involved in this disciplined and want to be adviced on the disciplinary action taken by Toyota against Thapelo, Luyanda and Lucky as they were all not helpful.

Toyota unethical behavior

On Aug. 1, 2017 I returned my leased 2014 Prius. The rear headrest was missing. I returned the headrest to the dealership on Aug. 2, 2017 and was assured that there was not problem.
I received a bill from Toyota Financial for the headrest and complained to the dealership. I was put in touch with Sales Manger Kelly Morrisette who assured me she would take care of the problem. After a month of phone calls, Ms. Morristette said she had contacted Toyota Financial and the situation was resolved.
On Saturday Nov. 5, 2018 I received a letter from a collection agency claiming that I owned for the $481.72 for the headrest. I called Ms. Morristette. She did not return my call. I sent a registered letter to David Machavern, owner of White River Toyota begging that the dealership contact the agency explaining that the headrest was returned.
Neither Mr. Machavern or Ms. Morristette has responded.
The dealership must tell the agency that I returned the headrest, and that I returned it in a timely fashion. But I have been ignored.
I will be happy to provide my correspondence with the dealership and the collection agency. Please explain how to send it to you.

Toyota Car problem (abs block), toyota camry hybrid 2010

Toyota Camry Hybrid 2010 ABS Anti-lock brake system actuator terrible noise.
Car is a really nice but this terrible noise is extremely bothering, you can hear this noise in the video which us enclosed. I had consultations with one of the best car service in Tbilisi, Georgia. They said that a lot of Toyota Camry and Prius of this ages has this problem from factory and it is not fixable just need replacement...
My question is: Should I buy new parts or there is other way to fix this problem? because I have the information that its the factory problem as a said and if I should buy it is very very expansive so I am looking for other opportunity.
if it's wright then what I should to do at this moment? really lot of car owners has this problem in Georgia.
Please inform me what is the best and cheap way to solve this problem.

Toyota product

A White Toyota CHR bought on AUG2018, l have used it only 3 months till now NOV2018, but the car was hit by the stones while l was driving along the highway and the car paint was dropped for few spots and the Seremban Light industrial Service Center Manager Mr Lim said it's normal & the paint of the car has met the standard, they can't do anything.

I feel very disappointed with the quality of the CHR which worth RM140, 000.

Toyota 2011 camry visor problem

We currently own 5 Toyota's and have been more than pleased with the Performance of all Toyota's. I am not pleased with Toyota handling of my wife's driver side visor. I replaced the original visor with a new Toyota visor and the same problem happened within 1.5 years. Toyota only warrants for 1 year.
My wife's car has the visor dropping into a dangerous position not only from visibility but if she were to hit something, she could be scalped. I have filed a claim and will start sharing my concerns on FB

Toyota 95 year old woman bought a new toyota prius 2007 need a new touch screen

I'm a 95 year old woman, I had many problems with the car. I bought this car new. I complained to west palm beach toyota about the clear coat peeling off when it was under warranty. W.P. B toyota said it not clear coat and I should have waxed it. I told him I wash and wax the car every week. I google it and many of cars had same problem. I found a company that made a clear for that problem that toyota has with cars. Company give's life time guarantee that it don't peel. Earl steward toyota said he can put a rebuilt touch screen in for $1600.00 and it may cost more if it needs 2 components. He told me I have to wait 5 to 15 days to get it rebuilt. I told him I can't wait that long I ask him to put a new touch screen in so I get the job done in one day. The reason why I want a new touch screen because I just had a odometer put by west palm beach toyota in the prius and it want bad in six month. I had to do the dam job over again. I got him to put a new one in and pray to god that this last. Please help me to get the new touch screen soon. I can't sleep good at night because of this problem and when I use the car the brakes get hard to stop steering get hard to turn. A loud buzzer goes off for a while and some times air condition shuts down. Please call me at [protected]. Rosalyn vine

Toyota service and attitudes

With immediate effect I believe strong my car was sabotage to break. I brought my car for a service .. I was advised clutch panel bracket is broken . On arrival I complaint as it was not the same way it was.. next I gave them permission to order then the wrong part was ordered. Then for my complaint the branch manager said no charge for Labour. They repaired the dip stink holder.. after many visits of wasting time and labour at work. Everything was fitted .. when I collected the car eish ... the services and the branch manager gave me attitudes and he advise me there is nothing more to day . They gave me a dirty car back with finger prints on the dash and seats with grease or dirty on it . I was advise they don't do extreme make overs on interior ... why did they have to dirty it

Hi im one of toyota car owner. I have facing financial problems and unable to pay my car payment. Here i want to said have one officer talk rude to me. What kind of officer that u all have? Really hurt me. I feel that if i want recommend ppl also, better dowan. Hope take action asap. Im just recover from accident and cant find that much cash to pay.

Toyota customer service agent call 10/31/2018

I bought a new 2008 Toyota Tundra in 2008. The truck has been great with a few exceptions - had to buy new floor mats due to recall issue, water pump, radio not working (replace), dash rattle (on-going), etc. but the truck is well maintained and taken care of. I hope to drive it for many years. The last 12 months the truck has been having new issues - vibration on highway and when turning (dealership thinks it is the tires), but I am on my 3rd new set in 3 month trying different types (no resolution) and sound in front right of truck engine bay on truck start up. The sound on startup started early this year and I learned yesterday that the sound is the air inj pumps failing. These pumps were offered warranty extension for 10yr / 150k miles. The check engine light on my truck hasn't come on, which usually tells of this issue. The dealership told me to call toyota due to my truck mileage and time being just outside the warranty extension period (currently 3000 miles over). The pumps have been failing and making the sound for over 6 months at least, but I thought sound was maybe a ac acuator or other ac blower motor (already replaced). At time of full failure the truck will not start and go over 30 mph.

I called toyota customer service line for the 1st time ever (except Lexus) and talked to Susan. She was very quick to tell me "NO" on all accounts, even though check engine light didn't come on and never heard of an air injector pump before yesterday. The only thing I new was a sound at start up for 30 seconds. I am shocked to not get help for a known issue for this tundra and issue going on within the warranty period. Susan said it was my fault for not complaining of sound to dealership before yesterday. I didn't know it was a major item or related to a limited time warranty. The truck is parked at dealership until this is resolved.

Toyota builds a great product and I certainly don't want to loose this confidence due to customer service agent opinion or my late notice to dealership.

Toyota 2017 toyota camry

I purchased a 2017 Camry in 2016, I have now got transmission issues, wich I believe that Toyota is aware of and should fix it free, but they said due to the mileage I have on the car that they would not, but I'm sure they are aware of the problem be cause here is a review, with the same symptoms mine has. I feel that Toyota should up and repair this problem for us.

DEFECTIVE new 2017 Toyota Camry! On November 18, 2016, we bought a new 2017 Toyota Camry. We bought Toyota because of its reputation in reliability and quality. But it turns out this car is defective and made with a bad transmission. Because of this major defect, we have reason to believe there's extremely poor quality control of the
production process of this entire car if not other 2017 Camry's. We weren't given a chance to test drive the new car by our dealer. On our way back home on 11/18, we noticed that the car jerked forward abnormally every time when we pressed on the brake. We took our car back to the dealer on 11/22 after try driving it multiple times at dealer's recommendation. It took the dealer 4 hours to fix it. They adjusted the fluid level within the transmission according to the paperwork. We haven't had a chance driving the car again until 12/5 because of a flu in the family. On 12/5, the car won't reverse and showed a warning message "Check Vehicle Stability Control System". On 12/6/16, Toyota sent a toll truck and took our car back to the dealer's service department. This time the service department replaced the defective new transmission with a re-manufactured (non-new) transmission.in two weeks after we had this car, the car has gone through 2 repairs on transmission and included the replacement of transmission on a brand new car. We paid for a brand new Toyota Camry XLE, now 2 weeks later, the transmission is broken and replaced with a refurbished
transmission. It might be a better choice to just buy a used car with much less price. This is a terrible new car experience for us and we have to warn other consumers about it. There should be something special about owning a new car. Toyota destroyed our experience by giving us a defective car and wants us to go through a lengthy process to get a refund or replacement. Stay away from 2017 Toyota Camry!

Toyota 2017 toyota camary

I purchase this car last year. On October the 12th you announced doing a recall on your vehicles of the year 2018 & 2019. For the airbags. So you know on October 10th, I was involved in an accident where they totaled my car. But during the accident my airbags didn't deploy. Yes I am dealing with injuries. What the doctors call whiplash with slight concussion. But in return I am informing you that you may want to consider added your 2017 vehicles to your list of vehicles to recall. I was very pleased with the service that your Dry Ridge Location gave me. But if I consider buying another Toyota would this be issue I will not have to worry about.

Toyota 95 camry defects cause serious injury

My jame is Heather Hall resident in northern Ky. I purchased a used 95 Toyota Camry in 2017 and in the month of ownership it caught fire burning 3/4 of my body. The fault of the fire is undetermined. However a claim that was presented to the courts and delayed by Toyota to disclose important documents and dates left the case not in my favor. I repeatedly contacted Toyota which I was redirected and never called back. Speaking to a Natasha, & Sheral who advised they can only speak to my legal advisor whom I fired & notified Toyota I'm leading my own counsel. They will not honor that stripping me of my rights. I want to also say the fire is mostly why I have filed & now I want to appeal the decisions and file a product liability claim as well. Toyota has a history of door latch/handle defects from 1992-2018 and with this history there is no recalls. This is a major safety issue especially in cases like mine when trying to escape a burning vehicle and 2 toddlers in the back seat. Luckily the children were unharmed. This claim will state that door handles were defective & while vehicle had been used regularly I suffered damages at Toyota's fault. These handles are important for even escaping after crashes or fires in my case. Please call me Ms Heather Hall [protected]

Toyota my car

I took my car last friday for service, alignment, inspection and rear door was not opening to be fixed.
I picked up the car which it was already running, I drove it about 20 to 30 miles, without stopping, came back home parked the car.
On monday morning was ready to drop off my kids for school and go to work, unfortunately they car would not start. The battery is ok since the light turns on without problem. Never happen before till after I took it for service at toyotakoch 33 located at 3816 hecktown rd, easton, pa 18045.
I called them thinking they will help since they were the ones touched my car first but they were not helpful at all. They wanted me to take the car for them knowing that the car does not start. They told me I need to pay for the towing? Thats not fair at all. I have been taken my car for service with them but I am shocked since they messed up with my car.

Toyota rear lower suspension bar replacement on my 2006 rav4

I had a recall on my 2006 Rav for the rear lower suspension bar. This bar was previously adjustable and was changed to a non-adjustable bar. This has lead to severe tire wear on the inner rim of my back tires down to the wire which I needed to get replaced. This was not visable when you looked at the outside of the tire. It was my Mechanic while getting an oil change who informed me of this wear of my tire and recommended tire replacements! He informed me that due to this recall bar not being adjustable he could not align my back tires...He is willing to discuss this with you or write a letter in my defense of the seriousness of this issue. This wear on my tires could have lead to a blow out which could have injured me or someone else! Currently my new tires which I put on my car in December are showing the same wear on the inner rims of the back tires...I am extremely upset about the service I received when I called this into Toyota. They said there was nothing they could do. I have always had such great service from Toyota, I would expect more concern that this is a serious safety hazard! I do have photo's of the damage this suspension bar has done to my tires ( down to the inner wires) please call me in reference to this issue...I have already sent my concerns to the National Traffic Safety Administration.
If someone gets hurt or killed due to this problem maybe it will concern you!

Toyota dealership - heintz toyota mankato mn

My name is Susan Bessel . I have a 2015 Rav4 Limited that I leased new in 2015. I love the car and decided to purchase it at my lease end in October 2018. What a horrible experience ! I compared prices, new vs my used, and still wanted to buy my present vehicle. I took off work a few hours early one Friday in September to get the transaction of buying it completed. I was told by an employee that they could not help me as the lease buy out person was out of town getting married, and to come back in October. I took off work another day- i October_ as my lease was nearing the end. ( dealership is about 1 hour away from work ). I called Heintz Toyota the afternoon before to let them know I would be coming in the following day. Neither the lease guy or the financial consultant woman answered their phones. That evening @ 7 pm this woman calls me back. She again said the lease buyout man would be gone the following day, and that they do not do lease buyouts on Saturdays. I told her it was going to happen that following day or I was going somewhere else do to the [censored] show I was experiencing. She then said she would be sure that all the paperwork would be ready for me the following day, and I finally purchased my vehicle. Buying your car should not be a such a troubling experience. I do not want to use this dealership for anything in the future but am very limited to where I can go, as I live a rural area. I love my Toyota but not so much this experience.

Toyota really bad experience with toyota, waste of money talk to irresponsible car maker

i really disappointed with Toyota malaysia, Camry 2.5 that am having got some many issue during warranty period and unable to solve, until i need to settle outside with my own pocket money, Toyota not even want to care, talk to them is just waste of my time keep send to service center.

Thanks for the reply, don't even want to mention what is cover in the warranty for Toyota Malaysia. even during warranty period, the part got problem they also did not replace, just answer is default issue, at the i just do my own replacement with my own pocket money to solve the issue, so what is cover in the warranty tell me.
now is problem is what is the quality of the car i am getting with the price over RM 100k, the quality of the car not even able to compare with the others brand of car less than RM 50k, dont even want to mention Toyota is import brand of car, such a shy on you Toyota.
if you can indicate this on behalf of Toyota Malaysia, to buy a toyota car is about you take it or leave it, this is quality of the Toyota and dont expect high quality with Toyota price of over RM 100k of the car. please indicate and status on every single customer and indicate clearly all this not cover and having low quality of Toyota car brand. if you as Toyota can do this, then i am acceptable, i will consider to purchase the coming new launch of Toyota car, else dont even mention about wear and tear condition. as the quality is not there.

Don't even mention about the warranty, even during warranty time, most of the part Toyota Malaysia also did not replace for, I had to solve the problem outside with my pocket money, what is been cover with warranty? Warranty to avoid engine break down. Don't want to mention about Toyota warranty is real super bad experience am facing in the past.
Now is about what is the quality of the material I am getting with the price of the car more than RM100k? If really want to compare the quality is about not even to compare with any car lower than RM50k of price.
If u can confirm on behalf of Toyota Malaysia and indicate that this is quality of the Toyota car and this happen to all Toyota brand, again the quality of Toyota is about you take it or leave it. Please indicate this clearly for the car launch and in all the sale and purchase. If this is deliverable then I will continue support Toyota and going to purchase the coming new launch of Camry 2.5

Toyota i'm extremely unhappy with my purchase car corolla 2015

I'm really so unhappy to have this kind of worst car I buy Corolla 2015 from UAE now after 3 years I discovered that the whole car body's is rusty then when I went to al futeem servce center they treat my by very bad way and unprofessional way also they're giving me very nonth reason why ist this the brand image how it's bad to have this experience kindly I need immediate contact ([protected]@gmail.com) [protected]/[protected]

Toyota Terrible after sales service

Extremely unhappy Toyota customer
I purchased a new Toyota Hilux (Registration BV 642) from Toyota Malawi Blantyre in July 2018. This is a company vehicle that belongs to KELFOODS LTD.

The after sales services at Blantyre Toyota has been pathetic to say the least and I need to bring to your attention the following specific incidents

First Incident:
On the 17 September 2018 I took the vehicle for a 10 000km service and brake shudder but when I got it back the rear brakes were binding and the brake shudder was not fixed The dealership did not want to send a mechanic to my house that evening.. I had to take the vehicle back to the dealer the next day for repairs and was stuck without a vehicle for a day. The dealership did not offer me a replacement vehicle during this time. I am also concerned that the brake binding has cause damaged to the brake linings and drums that I will eventually be liable for.

Second Incident:
On the 24 September 2018 I took the same vehicle to the dealer to install a rubber lining (rubberize) on the load bin. This was supposed to take two days but I check in on the 25th September 2018 only to find my vehicle parked one side with nothing done to it yet. On the 26th Sept 2018 I went back to the dealer again to follow-up on the installation only to find that the work was done so badly they have to re-do it and has caused significant damage to my brand new vehicles load bin.

This time round I demanded a spare vehicle but the dealership has bluntly refused to assist me. Only after 3 hours did they assist me with the workshop managers vehicle.

I use this vehicle daily to conduct business and cannot afford to be stuck without transportation

Toyota customer service at star toyota

On 10/16/2017, I reported to Star Toyota of Bayside to repair an air-conditioning leak in my vehicle, a 2008 Toyota 4Runner, as the vehicle's vents were blowing out hot air when the AC was activated. I informed Sunny R Dalavai, Advisor, that I had a leak in the air-conditioning system and I respectfully requested that he not just recharge the system and send me on my way. I stressed that the system had a leak. He did what I requested him not to do, he charged the system and sent me on my way. I was billed $201.21 for recharging and labor. On 04/19/2018, I returned to Star Toyota of Bayside and I reported that the vents were blowing out hot air when the AC system was activated. Again, I reported that the system had a leak. I made this report a second time and I respectfully informed Mr. Dalavai, that Star Toyota did not repair the leak as previously requested. Mr. Dalavai stated that the Toyota technician located a leak on an air-conditioning hose and I was charged $401.21 for this repair. He did state that "this is to start with." I explained that I didn't want to return to Star Toyota for the same repair and I informed Mr. Dalavai that I trusted this repair to be final. At no time was there a systems check conducted on the air-conditioning compressor which lead me to believe that everything with the air-conditioning system was operating as required. On 08/27/2018, I returned to Star Toyota of Bayside for a third time and I reported the same condition, that the vents in my vehicle were blowing out hot air when the AC system was activated. On 08/28/2018, I returned to pick-up my vehicle and I was informed by Mr. Dalavai that the Toyota technician located a small leak in the air-conditioning compressor and that that part required replacement, a total cost of approximately $3000.00. I asked Mr. Dalavai if the technician had inspected the compressor on 04/19/18, and he could not provide me with an answer indicating that an inspection on that part was conducted. I also informed Mr. Dalavai that at no time was a compressor inspection conducted as it was not noted in the invoice notes from the inception. Mr. Dalavai stated that the system was recharged and that I would not be required to make any payment for the new charging of the AC system in my vehicle. At this time, I informed Mr. Dalavai that my vehicle had not been repaired as requested, that my vehicle still has an air-conditioning leak, and that said repairs conducted did not meet the 12 months covered warranty as stated on the invoice. I returned to my residence with the vehicle, but I felt as though I was taken advantage of. As a result, at approximately 1:15PM, I contacted Star Toyota and I requested to speak with manager in order to report my dissatisfaction with the service provided. Alysha, receptionist, answered the call and informed me that Alex Collao, Star Toyota Manager, was in a meeting. She also stated that Diana Castillo, Star Toyota Asst. Manager, would return my call by 2PM. I never received a follow-up phone call as stated. On 08/29/2018, I contacted the Toyota Corporation and I informed Laquisha, receptionist, of the events aforementioned. At this time, I was provided with a case number and I was informed that I would receive a follow-up phone call in regards within two days. On 08/31/2018, I received a phone call from Dian Castillo, Star Toyota, and I reported my dissatisfaction with the service / treatment at Star Toyota. Ms. Castillo stated that she would meet with the advisor and that she would call me back on Tuesday, 09/04/2018. On 09/06/2018, at approximately 2:50PM, I contacted Star Toyota and Mr. Dalavai answered the call. I informed him that I wanted to speak with Mr. Castillo. At approximately 3:40PM, I received a return call from Ms. Castillo and she informed me in sum and substance, that Star Toyota would not absorb the fees associated with replacing the air-conditioner compressor in my vehicle. She also stated that I could request assistance from the Toyota Corporation for resolution. At approximately 3:45PM, I contacted the Toyota Corporation and I was informed by Chelsea, receptionist, that the Toyota Corporation would not assist with the repair because the vehicle was out of warranty. I explained that although the vehicle was out of warranty, the vehicle was not repaired as required, and that the vehicle still has an air-conditioning leak, an issue that has yet to be resolved. With all this said and done, I am in the same position I was in when I first reported my issue to Star Toyota. My vehicle still has an air-conditioning leak. Thanking you in advance for your assistance with this matter.

2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid, Hybrid system overheating light

Over the past 2 years since the hybrid battery replacement, I have had my Camry checked by two different dealerships on five different occasions.

Each time for the same problem, hybrid system overheating.

Motorcars Toyota

Motorcars Toyota has checked my vehicle twice but never found the problem

Village Toyota has checked my vehicle three times and have checked the same items as Motorcars Toyota. Problem never found even though Village Toyota has test driven the vehicle. It will not have a problem unless it is driven on the highway at 65mph for a period of over 15 minutes.

When the vehicle is driven on the highways going a steady speed without stopping it overheats. When the vehicle overheats is looses power and needs to sit to cool off before you can proceed. Both dealerships continue to check for codes and find nothing. The car is a safety hazard on the highways because of loosing power.

Both dealerships charge me for diagnostics each time its brought in, and they continue to duplicate there efforts and charge for it. Nothing has been found. no fan blockage, trunk is clear and everything checks clean. The amount spent including the battery bank replacement is running close to $4, 500.00.

It is very clear that Toyota Mechanics training is inadequate.

I need answeres on this, Im ready to purchase a new vehicle but I'm affraid to touch another Toyota and will stay away from Hybrid systems in the future.
