My sister cecilia sanchez owns a toyota tundra 2003. Her toyota financial account is [protected]. She has no job. She has fallen on hard times. Her car has been reposessed and is inpounded. The payoff amount we were told is $6180. 57. I am willing to help my sister and payoff a lesser amount as my credit limit is lower. We need toyota to help us out. I spoke to darian gavin at the [protected] xt 49544.

Gavin has told me that that amount is non negotiable. I am asking anybody in toyota why would it not be negotiable this is the usa, a capitalist country where deas get made every day all over the place. The economy is bad.

Toyota would be irresponsible to release the car back by re instating the account again since my sister would then have to make payments to them and to me for the money i am helping her to get her car back. If i loan her the money using my credit line, then she would only have to re - pay me and not to toyota. We need to make a busines desition for me to help her, toyota by lowering the amount required to payoff, my sister having a car to go look for a job and make payments to me. With all due respect, toyota is not making a business desition.

The response that Mr. Ryo Fukuda from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. has directed me to Toyota Financial Services where Chris from the Reinstatement Department is saying again that they do not re negoitate any contracts.

I would say this is a very arrogant position since Toyota is suffering from lower sales and people at local departments are not empowered to make desitions.

We are getting nowhere. my sister's name is Cecilia Sanchez, her account no. is [protected] at toyota financial services.

Toyota Financial is trying to prop up their brother car manufacturer by dishonesty, intimidation of customers, imposition of mindless fees and playing with the numbers. Life is sweeter if you never have to experience the Toyota brand of customer contempt.

I entered into a lease with Toyota Financial 3 years ago and went most of the time with no issues. I set up an online payment on their web site toyotafinancial.com For whatever reason, about a year ago, I started having issues. The online payment started coming out incorrectly and problems spiraled that made it obvious how ineffective and unfriendly their web site is and more importantly how horrible their customer service folks are. Extremely argumentative and unhelpful. I have honestly never seen such blatant rudeness in a customer service group. It was the last 3 I spoke to, making me think that they must promote it or do not invest enough time in teaching their folks how to not piss off customers further than when they started. My last payment was March of 2014. I called to confirm and was told it was indeed the last payment and balance was 0. Much to my surprise, they took another payment out in April of 2014. When I called, I was told that I would have to wait unitl the funds were received at Toyota, another 10 holding days and then they would mail it to me. Yeah, ok - how would you feel if I had done this when it was time to pay you Toyota? After 45 minutes of getting no where and the rep condescendingly saying my name, like she was talking to a child, a flat out refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor or manager, I was given to an 'escalation' person. After 3 years of a perfect payment, this is how I am treated. I have since leased a Honda for my daughter, where the web site is so friendly and easy. I will never finance through Toyota again.

The Toyota product is great, however less than happy with their financial services, I'm on auto pay,
it takes days for it to post. They will hound you to death, and then state they show a payment pending
in their system ? Then why are you hounding me to death ? Then they get abrupt with you, and ask for
payment anyway, I state you already have a payment pending they say ( Not Posted To The Account ).
Going to the bank, and getting this re financed and get as far away as possible !

BTW, Nissan is just as bad, got away from them as well...

Great story! You've obviously done some work, if you had spent more time paying your vehicle you probably wouldn't be so angry.

I leased a 2010 Corolla on 12-23-2009. I never received a payment book or information on how to handle the payments. On [protected] I called Toyota and asked what to do. I was sdvised to come back to the dealership and make the payment and they ( the dealership ) would hot shot the payment to Toyota Finance to keep it from being late. The Finance Director took my check himself and assured me there would be no problem. He even gave me his card authorizing a free oil change and tire rotation for either of my vehicles. Today I received a letter from Toyota advising that I was behind a full month's payment and they were asking for a double payment. I spent two and a half hours calling the dealership without a response. They never returned my call.

I guess by being a small grain of sand on the beach, my values as being an honest men means nothing to a company so large as Toyota. Receiveing a letter like this is cruel and down right vindictive. My payment was not late, the finance director is/was derelict in his duties to his patrons.

I, too had problems with the arrogance of this company. My bank by mistake stop payed on one of my payments to Toyota which made me 30 days late. When I saw this on my account I immediately called Toyota. I even had the letter from the bank stating it was their fault. They didnt want to hear it. They immediately posted my credit report for 30 days late. Now I have to go through their credit dispute department to argue this. The so called customer reps stated that this was in accordance with the FAIR credit reporting system. FAIR? Not my fault and now I have to do all this proving to them, when it should have been resolved the first time I sent them the letter from my bank.

I Agree, DO NOT EVER TAKE A LOAN OUT WITH THIS COMPANY...Go somewhere else. Lord forbid if you are 5 days late with a payment.

Constant phone calls and arrogant power hungry reps that have the power to ruin your credit!

You say Toyota follows the laws, and contracts are legally binding, well so it a court order.

My car, financed by Toyota Financial, was included in a my bankruptcy almost 4 years ago, and in addition to the bankruptcy discharge, I have a letter from Toyota Motor Credit Corporation Lexus Financial Servies acknowledging that . Yet today I was contacted by phone and mail that they sold it to a debt collector 4 months after my discharged bankruptcy. The dept collector was nice enough to give me all kinds of info. re: my account with Toyota. It should have never been sold to the debt collector company, and now I've got to deal with getting my credit cleared up due to Toyota wrongfully selling an account that was already terminated/ceased in the bankruptcy. I was given the phone number to Toyota Credit Coporation, and needless to say when I contacted them, she was the most unpleasant person. Poor thing, must really suck to work for such an unorganized, money starving, irrational company.

I signed with my son to get his first car. He has been late about 3 times in 1-1/2 years. Each time I am bombarded with phone calls from Indian trying to force me to go ahead and make a payment for him. He doesnt live with me so I explain that I must call him first and find out what is going on but they keep hounding me with phone calls. When you ask them their name they give you a name like Gary Johnson. Funny I didnt know there were any Johnsons living in India. So my point is do they really think im going to give someone my credit card number to someone with a phony name in another country. The best thing is your ever late is just dont answer their phone calls. They wont leave a message so just wait until someone from North Carolina leaves you a message and then deal with them. Also they will tack on all sorts of fees if your late. I really recommend just dont buy a toyota. If they dont care that these people are harrassing hard working Americans then let them sell their stuff somewhere else.

Auto finance companies are ruthless ###, and Toyota Financial is the worst of the bunch. You should never finance a car through Toyota or any one of these ### companies. Either pay cash, or finance through your credit union or bank.

A contract is one thing, but if human life was defined in contracts, then everything would be defined black and white. they need to be a little compassionate. where other's would have just left the car at roadside and run, atleast you offered to pay a reduced amount. surely it would fetch less at an auction.
True their customer service is the worst. I have had other issues with them where a couple people going out of their way could really help me out. but nope.

Okay this is the deal. Toyota/Lexus, follows all laws. They care about their customers. But when you don't pay your vehicle and it gets repo'd then they have to follow certain guidelines. And it all depends on the state. In order to get the vehicle back you have make certain arrangements. The payoff is non-negotiable, it is what it is. Everyday that the vehicle is not being paid off it grows, and that depends on the interest. Honestly trying to pay less is making the company lose money and that's not fair to them. Your sister agreed to that make those payments at that cost. She is the reason why it is that much. She agreed to it all, signed a contract that is legally binding as well. TFS/LFS doesn't want to take your vehicles, but if you don't want payments then they have no choice. And you broke that contract with them, they didn't just take the vehicle out of spite, they took it because the vehicle was being driven for free. Not making payments is irresponsible, and they have the right to take the vehicle. Because if she had wrecked it then that is still their vehicle and they would have lost all that money. It is after all a business.

Sir,
If you do a search on the internet machine for "Toyota Financial Illegal" you will see that Toyota financial is one hell of an unscrupulous company. There are thousands of stories of how this company uses illegal tactics to get what they want, that being said, they want anything they can rob from your fingers, till there isn't anything left to steal, then they want your credit.
I had a car financed through this company, and it was straight up STOLEN from me. They agreed to one thing, i would come in the next to comply with the verbal agreement, and they reneged on that agreement, we did this for 3 days in a row till they had proven that they wanted nothing less than to rob me of my car even though i was only one month behind, but they had conveniently LOST payments, but that i could prove through my bank statements they had! I could blow this page up with a blow by blow, but trust me when i say this, FIND a way out of dealing with this company, and RUN! SCREAM in terror that you ever had anything to do with this company, because they are only two steps to the right of "Thumbs McScrews" who works for the Italian Mafia. How they are still in business after what they did to me boggles my mind!

Get out, and stay out of reach from this company. What you’re going through is this companies bread and butter. The people who work for this company, i have no idea how they can sleep with themselves. This company is a pack of thieves, and is kept in business by lies, and backed up by the same jacked up legal system that has put the world economy in the toilet over the last 6 months.!.
