Townhouse Linens Placed an order on 9/17 - still waiting for fulfillment

Placed the order on 9/17, site indicated it usually ships in 7-10 business days. I have emailed three times without a response, called today prior to finding this website and now do not expect a response. Horrible company that should not be in business or have a web presence. This is ridiculous, I don't know why they bother to have a website since they have not charged my credit card as far as I can see and have not contacted me to request payment or notify me that the item is not available.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome is to receive the product but I don't see that happening.

Townhouse Linens out of stock merchandise and no contact

Placed an order, received no email to let me know my order went through! Called 10+ times, no answer! Left messages, no return call! Email address doesn't work! Looked up address on yellow pages, said it was Elliot Decor. I called the number listed [protected], ask if they were affiliated with townhouse linens, he said yes! He asked my order number, then said it had been cancelled because it was out of stock! It had been over a week since I placed this order and I would have never known had I not researched this and found the correct phone number! Please help me put townhouselinens.com out of business, get the word out, don't order from them! Call the number with your complaints, maybe if enough people complain they'll either change the website or terminate it all together!

Townhouse Linens Still no delivery of the order

I bought bedding set and curtains from the website www.townhouselinens.com. I paid money and got the confirmation info, but unfortunately the seller decided to fool me. He promised to provide the order within couple of weeks, but after 4 weeks I haven’t received my order. WTF? I sent emails and the seller only tried to calm me down and told to be more patient. So be careful if you use this website or leave comments if you have horrible experience with this seller.

Order placed on Dec.2nd, money taken from my account on Dec. 3rd. This was a Christmas gift, here it is Dec. 24th, no product has arrived. The website said 2 weeks for delivery. I have left 2 e-mails, no response. Asked for a UPS tracking number, no response.
Horrible, horrible, horrible. Stay away.

Townhouse Linens Avoid dealing with this ppl

I ordered some kitchen nook cushions from this site through the Overstock.com website. After about two weeks of no product received I called the customer service number. I was alarmed when I could not get an answer during business hours. I left a message and decided to try back later. Finally I got a hold of someone. I spoke to a man who informed me that they no longer made the color I ordered and that they would need to refund me. Not sure when they were going to tell me but I believe if I had not called it probably would have been NEVER. He was abrupt and sounded like he was in a hurry to get off the phone. He said I will see my refund in 1-3 business days. Hopefully I see my money again since I did not get my cushions. I will update if not. I received nothing more than a small email saying they got my order and a 6 digit customer # and no UPS tracking info. Bottom line is I waited patiently for 2 weeks for my order and finally had to call. Getting through was a nightmare in itself and when I did get through only then was I informed I could not get my order and that they would finally refund me in up to 3 days. Had I not called I probably would have been lost in their system and never received any info. rectifying the situation or gotten my money back. Waiting for my refund hopefully they do that right. Stay away!

Townhouse Linens Townhouse Linens sold me products that are no longer manufactured

Townhouse Linens sold me products that are no longer manufactured. I had to find this out by calling the distribution center, as no one from Townhouse Linens (TL) will communicate with me. I called TL and left two messages, as no one answers the phone. I received no call back. I have since left three email messages. Would you like to guess? No one has replied.

I will keep the merchandise that was substituted, as I'm afraid if I return the merchandise, I may not get a credit back to my account.
I will not use this company again.

Found phone numbers to get you through to Townhouse Linens - [protected] and [protected]. They are a terrible company. They won't return phone calls or emails. I had ordered a comforter and it is no longer being made. They never bothered to let me know that and that the order was canceled. Good luck.

Townhouselinens.com charged me $200+ for non existent items [out of stock] and never warned me before checking out OR when I called customer service to ask about my order status [6 business days after I placed my order]. The agent lied instead, saying my item takes 7 or more business days to ship despite the website listing 3-5 business days. He also lied about contacting me the next day after checking with the warehouse. I only found out on the second call almost two weeks later.

Townhouse Linens Use another e-shop instead

I returned a rug and did not expect to get a full refund due to shipping and restocking charges; however, no credit was posted to my account nearly 11 days later and no courtesy response from this company. I left email and voice mail... nothing. When I called prior to returning the item, I got attitude when asking about their return policy. I only called per the web site instructions to do so before I returned item and did not appreciate the rude tone. I would NEVER recommend this to company or website.. In this economy where we are all watching our spending, there ought to be a hint of customer service. There are too many other good websites like Amazon and Overstocked to deal with this BS.

Townhouse Linens Did not refund money

Ordered shower curtain and accessories from Townhouselinens on May 21 2011. I have never received products or refund of $161.91 from them. Their excuse at first was products were back ordered. This happened two times. After last time asked them to cancel order and refund money. I have written/emailed them numerous times and asked for refund but have never got a reply from them.

I orded a bathroom rug. They set me an e-mail that they did not mail it yet, so I e-mailed them to cancel the order on September 7th. They sent me an e-mail to call them. I called them10:30 a..m. on Sept. 8th to cancel the order, they said they would cancel the order for me.They mailed the item on Sept. 9th, I received the the rug in the mail on Sept. 13th. I called to ask for a postage paid shipping label and they refused. They had more than enough time to cancel the order. I sent e-mails of my disappointment and did not get any responses. In their e-mail it says Satisfaction guarantee.

Townhouse Linens I placed an order with townhouselinens and the next day they abruptly canceled my order

I placed an order with townhouselinens and the next day they abruptly canceled my order, but gave me the option to reorder at a cost of $5.00 more than I originally paid. When I finally spoke to a person, he told me the item was out of stock - not noted on the website- and they could charge me now and pre-order it for me, not knowing when more will be there. I don't think so - buyer beware, stay clear of this scammer.

I have sent several emails about order # 47392 placd three months ago and never sent I even left a voicemail on the customer service line that nobody answered.

I will never ever again deal with the company www.townhouselinens.com. I bought bedding and these jerks only charged me quickly. I haven’t received any news about the order or my order at all. I sent them emails, but all agents were offline all the time. Total rip off, so beware. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.

I found this site while I was shopping online for JoJo Designs Sophia Bedding for my daughters bedroom. They seemed to have the best price and I was able to find an additional coupon for 10% off. I live in Canada and was vacationing in the US so I had the product shipped there. I received a receipt right away plus a confirmation of my order...then the next day I received another email stating my order was "awaiting" shipment and that's the last I heard from them. Two weeks later, I called them and the guy running their customer service lacks serious customer service skills. He had no clue what was going on...and when he finally got a clue...he assured me that the package was going to arrive the following day. I asked him to email me the tracking number and he never did.
Fast forward two more weeks to when we are actually on vacation and the front desk said they never received the package. I have to re-call Townhouse Linens, who then tell me to call FedEx who then tell me they will open an investigation. I call the front desk one final time explaining the whole situation and they go look on last time at all their packages and say they found one with just the name Walter on it with a question mark...(that is my dad's name who was the resort guest). I went down and opened the package and sure enough, it was my bedding. I don't know what the point is of putting in a proper shipping address when they can't even copy and paste it properly on their packages! What a hassle that I had to deal with all because Townhouse couldn't probably address their packages! I mean who just ships a package to a single first name! HELLO! And plus, I still have never seen a tracking slip!
The price was great but far too much hassle while I'm on vacation to ever deal with them again!

Same situation here. Ordered a comforter and sheetset and after waiting through a week of "processing" my order was changed to "cancelled." No explanation from the company, no we're sorry, nothing. Will not be doing business with this company again and will be reviewing negatively as much as possible.

Just to update my situation. My order finally came in on March 28th. I notified Sam at Townhouse Linens and thanked him for whatever efforts he made to get the order in. He requested my email that I update my post and I am happy to oblige. Everyone likes a good ending to a story. I can not say that I am pleased with Townhouse Linens customer service, however I have my product and can move forward in completing my bathroom. Hopefully this post will encourage Townhouse Linens to do some upgrading of the customer service end of their business. PS this may be the second or third post. I had some difficulties getting into the Complaints Board site.

I placed an order on February 22 and it was never ordered. I spoke with Sam on March 11th and he said he didn't know why this was never ordered. And he was going to order it then. I told him that the charge was already pending on my account and he said it never went through. I called back again on March 21 and he told me that he was going to contact the warehouse to see why the order had not been shipped and that he would get back to me with tracking information. He actually kept track of our conversation. I told him I would call back on the 22nd for the tracking information. Today is the 22nd and he gave me another scripted song and dance about how since the manufacturer is in the US and makes the rugs as the orders come in it takes up to 2 weeks. I told Sam that he didn't seem like the kind of person who would take any type of excuses off of anyone so I asked him as his customer what would he think if he had ordered something on February 22 and here it is March 22 and the product is not in. I was just trying to get him to think about the run around he was giving me. People like that don't have a conscience. I had to request an apology from this guy. He was not about to give it up until I pointed it out. Wow. Make sure you call the Better Business Bureau, cancel your order and notify your bank. Buyer definetly BEWARE.
