Toronto Flowers .com / Bad customer treatment

This is an online flower delivery service also known as bloomsnroses.com I ordered birthday presents of three different floral arrangements to be delivered for next day. The online also claimed there was free delivery. My credit card was charged for delivery. By 6 p.m. the next day no one had received their flowers. The store was not able to confirm if the orders had been made up and shipped out. Saturday morning I checked again, apparently the computers were down but I would get a return call right away. I continued calling all day and got no answer. Saturday at 6 p.m. no one had received their flowers still. I rushed out and bought flowers locally and hand delivered them myself. Sunday two of the recipients received their flowers but by Tuesday one still had not. I called and spoke to James, the general manager. I told him I was an unhappy customer, he immediatedly put me on hold for over 5 minutes. When he returned I started to give him my order numbers, he again put me on hold for 3 minutes. When he returned the third time I asked why he kept putting me on hold, his reply "And I'm going to do it again". It was clear he would not speak to me. I called the store back and asked why he refused to speak to me, he claimed I was obnoxious. I assure you I was not, he never left me on the line long enough. As I tried to explain to him what had transpired he continued to put me on hold for several minutes at a time. I kept my cool as I realized he was playing some sort of power game. He then proceeded to say I was lying, blowing things out of proportion, and exaggerating with out letting me explain still what had transpired. He claimed the web page stated that Mothers Day floweres had a five day flex time for delivery and it was the senders responsibility to make sure someone was at the home to receive them. The fact that these were birthday presents for 2 days prior to Mothers day did not get mentioned. He was rude, snide and a multitude of other things that left me in tears. I was never allowed to tell him what had transpired to date, he was only intent on making everything my fault.

I would advise that no one order flowers online with this company. Their webpage says they have the highest customer satisfation, guarantees etc. No one deserves to be treated like I just was.
