This is a complaint I feel I should make just to warn other potential purchasers of used cars in the Salisbury area. This dates back to November of this year (2015). I was interested in a used 2013 Scion FR-S and found one they had listed online. I went round to check it out, and upon initial visual inspection, everything looked in order. The car was priced even cheaper than the low end of KBB estimates and when I quizzed Tim about this he said it was due to him getting a good deal at an auction, the color of the vehicle, and the fact it was a manual". I mulled the offer over, and when I said I wished to pay the full amount with a check, he knocked off another nearly $2, 000. At this point, I became a little curious so demanded I take the car to my garage. He agreed, so I picked up the car a few days later and had my mechanic check it over. Within a minute, they confirmed this car had been in a wreck and had been repaired (when the dealer insisted it had been in NO accidents) and that the tires were gone (and would not pass an inspection despite the car miraculously having passed an inspection days earlier?!) and there was oil leaking all over the rear left strut. All of these were indicative of structural damage. When I went back to Tim, he denied knowledge of this and, furthermore, suggested my mechanic didn't know what they were talking about entirely. I said that, in light of the new information, I could not purchase the car AS IS and would need to make these repairs before proceeding. He said he would look into it and contact me the next day. He did not, and when I reached out to him he claimed he had been busy and for me to contact him the next day. I had grown very apprehensive by this point so I decided not to proceed any further and never heard another word from him. I feel this dealer tried to sell a car under false pretense, a car that had been in an accident and had structural damage that they were more than willing to hide and try to make a quick sale. You may be able to pick up a "good deal" here but probably at a hefty cost down the road.

They sold me a 1997 f150 for $59 hundred that had bad brakes, no heat or a/c, an over heating problem that I found out later when I had to get the turn signals fixed. The mechanic told me that everything was working fine when he checked the truck out for an over heating problem. So he fixed the turn signal with a zip tie. Any way the truck over heated on me and was told it needed a new radiator but when I got the truck back I had the truck checked by a real mechanic and was told the radiator was not new plus they wanted $150 for the fix that wasn't done. To top it all off they wanted to charge me 30% interest. Don't be fooled by their bull ###. If some one wants to hear the truth I live here in Salisbury my name is Warren Jaycox and live on Old Plank rd.
