Hi,

I bought a plate from the back section of the store which are mostly broken or have scratches. This plate apparently had some scratches but I didn't study it. I bought it cause it was only $5.99 and I was just putting my candles. When I got home, I tried my candles and it didn't fit so 2 days after I returned it. The manager of TJ Maxx Santa Clara and the cashier refused to accept my return. They said it was old and used. They didn't even look at my receipt which was only 2 days old. This manager has this kind of attitude. She makes customers feel that they are not trustworthy, they are cheaters or scammers of whatever. TJ Maxx is a great company but you should hire people who knows how to deal with customers respectfully. She needs to be fired.

Btw, my complaint is against a lady manager. She is wearing glasses and seems to always look at customers with suspicion. The casher is also a lady cashier, Indian. She was on No. 6 booth when I came in at Jan. 15, 2019 at around 1.50 pm.

I was a traveller and I went to TJ Maxx on 01/13/2019. I was looking at some bags there and a young black lady came and asked me, "did you find anything good?". I said no, I'm just looking. She told me not to take anything out of the store and said she was joking.

I felt so offended, but I went blank and said nothing to her. After leaving the store, I felt that I should say it's not funny at all but I didn't.

I didn't know if she was unintentional to say that word or she considered me as a furtive one to take sth out of the store, or I was an Asian?

Actually when I was in UK, TKmaxx was my favorite stores there. But now I will never ever visit TJmaxx at all because of an "unintentional " word.

T.J. Maxx wellness steel tumbler cup

I bought this Wellness brand double wall steel tumbler cup last Christmas. I was drinking tea in my cup and after I was done I went to wash the cup out and noticed black spots inside the cup on the walls. After closer inspection I realized there were actually blobs of a black substance seeping through the walls of the cup and directly through the seam on the inside of the cup. I touched the spot and the substance wiped onto my finger and left behind a stain. I wash and dry the cup after each use and do not store the cup with the top on. I never leave liquid in it prolonged over 8 hrs, and never unless I am actively drinking from the cup. I'm very disturbed by this. I can not find any information on the Wellness company or manufacturer info. I want to know exactly what this substance is and if it is harmful to me. I will not be using this cup again and I will warn everyone I know to check their Wellness cups as well. I'm very concerned that I've been poisoned by heavy metals leeching into my drink, and possible mold contamination. This is absolutely disgusting and should never happen. I want answers. I need answers to have my health checked and to help others be safe.

T.J. Maxx order number 2895723824

I placed this order on 12/29/ 18. The items shipped on 1/2/19. I never received them. I called TJ Maxx and was told UPS returned the items to sender. I called UPS and was told that TJ Maxx cancelled the order due to fraudulent activity. I called TJ Maxx again and the suspected fraudulent activity was confirmed but no information is available. There's a mysterious "credit team" that will respond now that I've called to report that the items were not received. I paid for the items with e-gift cards received from Citibank, a regular gift card and my debit card. No one at customer service knows why this was flagged as fraudulent and if I hadn't called the issue would not have been escalated.

I complained about a stocker at our grand junction Colorado store a couple of months ago. She was giving certain girls in our Rae Dunn group information on what days to come and what days not to come. Most of it was by text. Also she was meeting them outside by their vehicles. I don't know her name but she has red hair and glasses. It got better for a couple of weeks and it has all started back up again. She is only nice to a couple of the women and she isn't very nice to others. There are about 6 other women that know this is going on and are complaining to corporate. Not sure why it got better for awhile at this store? Maybe cause she was talked to by management but it is going on again. Thank you for your time. We love tjmaxx and spend a lot of money there. We all just think this employee needs to be brought to management again

T.J. Maxx manager harassing and bullying

Hi my name is sonia, I was hired at winners Morgan crossing before Christmas, the manager named reema Singh started to bully and harass me recently. She took me to her office during my shift and asked me irrelevant questions on false stories from others. I worked hard at this job closings 11pm despite my shoulder pain. Reema had no word of appreciation for the hard work I did, she forced me to do the garbage despite my asthma health issues . During my last shift on January 2, 2019 she told me she would monitor me for a week and this job may not be for me. There are employees in this store who don't even speak English reflective of poor hiring practices as they are unable to provide good customer service...there is no reason I don't fit in this role, I have 3 growing children my 2 little girls are disappointed I don't work for winners anymore and won't be buying them as I am providing clothing and shelter for my family. I was forced to leave this job due to reema's unfair treatment towards me she has personal hateful looks at me I am a member of visible minority . It is sad to know despite the anti bullying and harassment policies at TJX managers like reema can do whatever they want. On January 4 I went to winners to pick up house hold items and saw reema she started yelling at me while I was paying the cashier, she was upset I am quitting and will miss my shifts it was rude and as soon as I started leaving the store I heard her yelling their are cameras here don't come to this store.. I was surprised how she can shout like this there were other people around me . I have decided to never go back to this location even though I was a regular customer for winners, my decision to work part time to buy more ended up stop shopping at winners due to unprofessional behaviour from reema Singh . I hope upper management can take an action to stop reema from treating her employees like slaves .

Because you are dealing with an immigrant. Immigrants deal with issues the way they dealt with things in their former country, not the Canadian way. This is what you get when immigrants are in your country.

I was at the TJ Maxx on Richmond Ave. in Houston, TX on December 30, 2018 to make a return. The cashier named Miriam looked at my receipt and immediately said, "you can't return these since you received 50% off." I have been a loyal customer at TJ Maxx and have made many purchases but have never heard of final sales for holiday items that was marked 50% off. I told Miriam that no one informed me of a final sale and there was no indication at the store that holiday items were final sales. She insisted with a nasty attitude that I could not return the items because I got 50% off so I requested for the manager. The manager confirmed with her that I had a receipt and the items had price tags attached. She told her then there was not an issue to accept the return. Miriam seemed dissatisfied with the response and reconfirmed with her manager about her "made up" final sale policy. Without apologizing for her mistake she proceeded to process the return. During the transaction the credit card machine was not functioning properly so I had to remove my credit card a few times. Miriam, instead of asking the customer politely, she said with her attitude, "waiting on you to insert your credit card." At this time, I had enough of her attitude so I said, "as a customer service rep you could have said it in a nicer way." It is unfortunate that Miriam didn't have the personality and proper training to perform her basic duty. I hope TJ Maxx would take this comment seriously and take necessary actions.

there is a cashier in the riverhead ny store that is real evil, relishes in aggravating all coworkers, including management.
begging for just a few hours allows for collection of many government benefits
l. unemployment insurance year in and year out
2. food stamps
3. Leave of absences guarantees half pay from the company's insurance policies
4.turning in co workers to security pays $300 each occurrence
5. collecting SSI

figured out a way to put an end to this schedule extra, extra, extra hours so that individual can reach the point of calling out excessively be it sick, other commitment, etc and pray it becomes an act of insubordination when expected to appear for work . End result the associates will no longer be harassed, and the devil will get its due

T.J. Maxx dover delaware store employee complaint

Hello my name is Christine Leyva. Known as Chris at Dover De HomeGoods store. Here is my complaint. I gave all to opening this store. I was always on time, and always showed up to work with dedication to my position respect for my managers and my work family. A week before Christmas I was cut 3 days because of logistic issues. On day 3 we had a meeting with store manager before being cut. He explained that Tjx corp never promised us anything. He told us if we didn't like it to bad. He went on to tell us that since we are backroom he has nothing in the store for us to do and to clock out. He then started making threats about a very small issue that took place 2 weeks before this meeting. Then he tells us if he has to address another issue it will be bad for all of us. This was an issue over some cardboard and who should have cleaned it up. He goes on and on with his threats and how Tjx never made any promises to us and he doesn't have to explain anything he does to us. He made such a big deal out of the cardboard situation that he ended up talking about it for quite some time and then went into a big conversation about us wasting tjx payroll with this hour long meetinv where he did ALL the talking. Whenever we try to defend ourselves he goes on to tell us that we were not promised anything. Another complaint is an employee comes into work smelling like illegal drugs marijuana and the mgr smells it as well as the customers but he just continues to allow bim to come to work stoned and reeking of weed. This person spends the first half hour walking in circles complaining about his tough life and also complaining about what hasn't been done.
I have quit my job with you due to the constant payroll issues, the employee who gets to come to work smelling like weed stinking up the store. I quit because 3 days a week before Christmas was taken from me and I am capable of doing it all in the store. Thats when he starts on us about our availability and what position we were hired for but had absolutely no problem with us cleaning the store when the cleaning lady left due to health issues. He said it is your job and you must do it. Then he is telling us we can only do a specific job and if the truck doesn't show then oh well clock out. His lack of consideration for our time is a complaint as well. He shows up at a minute before we have to clock in every morning he has to open. We are all on time and he gets to roll in late? So unprofessional. We are on time. Why can't he be on time? Then he has to adjust our time because he is late. I love my job at HomeGoods and leaving was hard. I want to be with my team and do my job but it is impossible if I am constantly being told we made you no promises.

T.J. Maxx unprofessional manager!

I'm a driver for Lizama carriers/Foward Air
I deliver to TJ MAXX/ Homegoods all the time. This is my primary Job (How I make my living) I am writing you today about a manger you have at one of your stores in Lake Jackson, Texas store #601! The manager or assistant manager goes by the name Brea or Breeia she is an African American female. Was very rude yesterday when I called to give an eta on a delivery. I later talked to the operations manager that happens to be there at the time she was a jewel 💎 just great. Brea on the other hand could not help me, could not or did not understand store policy and precedures form delivery. When this store gets delivery's all the time so I don't understand why I could not have communication on matters pertaining to delivery. As a driver I am courteous and polite when I encounter staff. This woman told me "I cant help you with the delivery times, show up when you show up I won't be here I leave at 6 pm I'm not concerned". I'm glad I later talked to an operations manager to get a better understanding of when someone would be there to receive he merchandise and verify seal and cut lock off door. Ok this business I cannot have merchandise in verified, or left in attended. So I try to arrive in time for someone to verify if not I will have to wait until such is done so per my company policy. I asked that this person be retrained in these areas! I was not always just a truck drive I have 2 degrees in my other professional field, so I don't like to be talked too stupid like I don't have a brain in my head!

The rumors about Maria the manager at tj maxx nanuet ny that she's only nice mainly to Spanish employees (well some) she's a horrible manager & I'm upset I cannot find hr number to contact them I've waited too long to say anything & constantly was told to open my mouth I was wayy too nice trying to not interfere with ppls jobs but she's interfering with mine Im not sayin I need crazy hours but im a great worker & have been rewarded on a few occasions or spoken to about how my work ethic is loved I have mouths to feed & bills & this woman is ruinin a lot due to her unexcused attitudes for no reason I've even heard ppl around me saying how much they wanna get her

T.J. Maxx never received credit card nor bill and 3 years later now have poor credit rating

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to express my dismay in how the TJX organization has inappropriately caused havoc with my credit rating. Apparently in the spring of 2016, I opened a TJ Maxx credit card to purchase approximately 100 dollars of pillows from a Nashville TN store. I never received the credit card nor did I ever receive a bill. Over 18 months later, I received a bill for nearly 300 dollars from a collection agency. I spent over one hour speaking to TJ Maxx customer services. I was badgered on the call repeatedly telling me it was my fault and there is nothing they would do. Interestingly, I have never had such an incident in my life and pay the ENTIRE debt on ALL credit cards monthly. I also repeatedly stated to the TJ Maxx customer service supervisor that I never received a card nor bill, so how would I ever know that I owed anything. I then called the collection agency who advised me to officially appeal through them and not settle at that time, which I did. There were no further correspondences until August of this year when another collection agency, Portfolio Recovery Associates, sent me a larger bill. We mutually decided on a settlement of $246.41 so that I may have the case closed. Enclosed attachments will provide evidence of this transaction. Unfortunately, in this entire process, TJX has reported this incident to all three credit reporting agencies, Trans Union, Equifax and Experian. As this was TJX's initial error (and I still settled at an amount much higher than my initial purchase over three months ago), I must insist that TJX should remove their report from these three credit agencies effective immediately.

12/5/2018 around 2pm

I have a complaint to make about an employee at La Canada, Ca TJ Maxx store. Her name is Kisha I believe. I brought in a cart full of clothes to try on ( about 15) at the dressing room downstairs. Without a greeting, Kisha rudely said "only 10 items". So I divided the clothes in pile of 10 and the other 5 in another cart that was in the dressing room entrance. Kisha let all other shoppers behind me in the dressing rooms while I patiently waited. She then started counting 10 items at which point she demanded that I hold the clothes while she counted. I did not like her rude attitude, so I told her to just put the counted clothes in the cart instead of having me hold them in my arms as she wanted to pile the counted items onto my arms. I thought this was rude and told her so, at which point she called over another employee jeering at me saying, "did you hear that?" to that employee and smirking. She then called over the manager despite my saying I didn't want to speak to a manager, I just wanted to try on my clothes and leave! She said "No I have to call my manager". I just simply couldn't believe her rudeness and spitefulness. I was then forced into a situation to explain the situation to the manager, while she looked on mocking me. I don't want anybody's job to be taken away because of a complaint. But I believe Kisha needs to be retrained in dealing with customers, or be alerted of my complaint. She has no business in inconveniencing customers to hold items, or to force customers into speaking with a manager even against their wish to do so. This is just rudeness and spitefulness that I have never experienced before.

T.J. Maxx quality

So I bought a pair of boots a few months ago and I put them on for the first time time today, after 3 hours the sole fell off the left one and the right one is about to go . I have never been so embarrassed as I was in town and I tripped and then had to get a taxi home cutting my day short . I don't have the receipt but am sending photoes . Very unhappy, from Sam Clark .

T.J. Maxx customer service & return tags

Recently purchased a great Vince jacket from the runway dept. with a tag on it. Once you remove the red tag you can not return the jacket. Problem is you could not easily remove the red tag at home so it was another visit to the store to remove. At the store there was no apology from the manager for the inconvenience. Just...I removed it with no problem. What an inconvenience to the customer!

T.J. Maxx certegy

11/28/18 My check was declined. Certegy apparently uses profiling. I have an 830 credit score, never bounced a check, have an excellent credit history and yet, my check was declined. I stood there 15 minutes and was totally humiliated as the manager talked within ear shot of everyone in line. I will no longer shop at your stores and will make sure others no about your unfair practices.

T.J. Maxx kristina a sales coordinator

I purchasing a pair of Stella McCartney sunglasses on clearance. The sales associate Kristina took it apond her self to cut the security tag off the middle of the n pi se frame with scissors, and scratched the frame. Witch I told her you strached the frame. She continued to talk, I once again repeated myself she called a manager who never came. She told me she could give me a $1 off due to her scratching the frame. I said no over a $100 something bucks no thanks. She seemed shaken nervous, because I told her you need to report that you sctrached the frame. She didn't the manager walked by as I was leaving Kristina never said a word. I will contact Stella McCartney cooperate to let them know what happened you don't sale damage goods like that. I I'm a faithful shopper of Tjmaxx and loyal shopper.

TJ Maxx in Lexington, Sc The manager will not allow employees to buy Rae Dunn merchandise. There is a group of women that wait outside for the store to open so they can get this stuff. The manager of the store is in contact with these women and informs them when the stuff comes in. The manager also holds the stuff for these women. If there is no new stuff then there is no line waiting outside. She also opens the store 20-30 minutes early so these women can come buy this stuff. Corporate needs to investigate this stuff and if it means to stop selling Rae Dunn then that's what needs to be done. Just let you know if I'm ever back in the store at 9:30 and I'm threatened or cussed out because they think I'm trying to buy there stuff I will take this to the next level.

T.J. Maxx rae and dunn

My Daughter is looking for the RD red santa cookie jar. All stores in Alabama have a team of people that wait till opening and are vicious and they buy All everyday. I thought I would try to find it in GA. 3 cities and all stores that carry RD say teams of people are there everyday. I just want to surprise my daughter and buy it for her for Xmas. I am on a fixed income and can't afford the prices these teams of people are reselling for. Its just not fair. Why can't we just go to avRD website and buy it. So sad.
