I recently had a opportunity to have Tix Nix go to court for me on a CDL speeding ticket, not only did it take for ever with no good resolve, it ended up costing me double the fine plus 500.00 for their SERVICES. I say a waste of time and MONEY!

Sorry to hear that Billy. There's a new kid on the block (offtherecord.com) -- Currently only available in WA state, but we're expanding. We will refund your money back if the ticket is not kept off your record (no gimmicks, no hidden feeds, no jokes).

I had good luck with them on two occasions in IL. I paid for their services (plus the non-moving violations I plead guilty to), so it did cost more than paying the ticket. But the violations didn't appear on my license, and therefore I didn't see my rates go up. I'm trying them again now in CO, but I think their website chanted to Traffic Ticket Attorneys http://www.trafficticket-attorney.com/ . All the courts want is your money, and as long as they're raising revenue, they don't care what fine you pay...and these lawyers work from that angle. I'm personally glad I don't have to: take off work, know what to ask the court to bargain over to, and gain demerit points so my insurance company can work me over monetarily AGAIN.

I had good luck with NicNix twice. Once in Jacksonville, FL and another time in Akron, OH. These folks are not miracle workers and as a professional I know what my times worth. I don’t know how they do it so inexpensively. So far I’m 2-0
My next one will be in Butler County PA next week I’ll let you know how this guy did. Remember it’s not about the time or fine, it’s about the points and the rip off from the insurance company. I have been driving over 45 years and have NEVER had an accident, chargeable or not, but I seem to get at least one ticket a year. Remember fight all speeding tickets all the time even if you do it yourself.

I wish I had read these reviews before I paid tixnix. I'm not sure what they did besides postpone me paying on my original ticket from 2007. Here it is 2011 and my $176 ticket is now $225 plus the money $150 or so I paid when I hired this company. I don't understand what they did or didn't do. I could never get any answers and finally stopped calling around 2008. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They told me if I signed up it would be $49.95. I called in and they said since you got your ticket before you became a member you have to pay $300.00. You also have to keep paying $49.95 per month. I realized it was a scam and got a refund right away. Those charges if they were legitimate should have been known by the salesman. It seems that each person who gets involved with Tix Nix under TVC Marketing should be very cautious. I am not opposed to paying for the service I just don't like feeling like I was lied to or Scammed.

I think this is a great service, for out of state tickets. Finding a qualified lawyer. BUT, As a CDL holder and unfortunately a recent speeding ticket. The Tixnix site sounds great, says it has Lawyers that know what it means to have a ticket on your CDL license and blah blah blah. The problem is the lawyer I had was not on the same page as Tixnix. He went from $400 to $350 by the time the conversation was over it was $450 He went thru the motions used a lot of big words " we negotiated” Squeezed as much money out of me as he could, me being little vulnerable at the time as I think most are.
Then when he sent the results, I called with questions, Couldn't talk down to me enough. "I'm trying to help you" "I don't know the answer to that” not answering any of my concerns.
Bad experience and would be way more cautious next time. Tixnix should raise its qualifications for participants in this service.

I had the opposite experience, they did everything, it cost less than the ticket would have and i had the ticket dismissed. Maybe it depends on what part of the country youre in but her in WA state i would definitely recommend them.

Last year I had a speeding ticket that would have cost 195$. I didn't want it on my record and did not want to try to the middle of nowhere to go to court myself, so I tried using Tixnix.com. Worst mistake of my life. They set me up with an attorney in which I had to pay 250$ up front. I thought ok I'll pay 55$ more and that'll be the end of my ticket. I was so wrong. I had to pay the original fine of 195$ as well. Furthermore, I was on probation for 3 months and had to take defensive driving, which cost me an additional 25$. I was so angry but it was too late and there was nothing I could do. Paying the fine and taking defensive driving would have been the exact same thing that would have happened if I went to court myself (I know because that's what I did the time before that). And my friends tell me you can get your ticket dismissed by other attorneys for less than 150$ (for everything). But the story doesn't end here, my latest insurance statement shows that I have 2 strikes now! So it's not even off my record! THIS SITE IS A TOTAL SCAM! Pood Rules probably works for Tixnix. DON'T USE TIXNIX! TAKE MY HORRIBLE STORY AS A WARNING TO STAY AWAY!

Went through Tixnix .. BIG WASTE OF MONEY.
The Attorney that I was assigned to did absolutly nothing. If I would have handled the ticket w/o going through Tixnix I would have saved $175.00. and had the exact same results. The Attorney was based in LAREDO OWSLEY AND ASSOC.And the Customer Service Agent he has working for him are horrible. A word to all those considering going through TIXNIX.. DON"T !
The only email they responded to on an Urgent bases was the payment info , All others I had to email and call repeatedly to get a responce.

"Buzz" doesn't know what he is talking about. Maybe he is confused with which service he actually used.

TixNix.com does not charge for service. If "buzz" actually logged into TixNix.com and entered his ticket information, he would have been contacted by an attorney in his area who would give a consultation on his situation--ALL FOR FREE.

"buzz" then has the OPTION of using the local attorney's service or not. There are no pre-paid legal fees, there is no obligation to hire the attorney, the price is given up front.
