Titan Fast Track Sunglass / Not worth purchasing

I would like to bring to your notice the problem, I faced using the company's Sunglass (MODEL NUMBER:- P040BR2), purchased on 10 th of September from Westside, Forum - Bangalore. Sir, your products are guaranteed to be of a very high quality thats why people go for it. But sorry to say they are not worth purchasing.

If I am not mistaken Sunglasses are supposed to be powerless but it was very shocking to learn that the lens were cylindrical. I thought the defect is with my eyes, so I got it tested. Only after the test I could figure out that the defect is at your side and my eyes were perfectly alright. Just because of the Lens I almost fell down from the stairs as I was unable to judge the level of it, and I was badly hurt.

I faced this problem even while walking, the road ahead either looked elevated or slant, making me tough to walk. Same with the corners. I tried testing other models of the above, but, the problem remained the same. Clarifying that the error lies in all Fast Track models and not with my model in particular. Even my friends and relatives held the same opinion on wearing it. So finally I had to discontinue wearing the above, else it could have damaged my eyes.

    I faced a similar problem with three fast track models.initially i thought that it had something to do with the particular model i had po26bk2, but the problem was there in the other ones i purchased too. I had gifted a pair to my wife who has not worn them after she had a nasty fall due to inferior depth perception. I had sent a mail to titan through their website but true to their (dis) repute- no reply till date.

    This is very true. The salesman assured me that the glasses were "zero power" but after wearing the same it looks like you are walking on an uneven surface. I turned it back to the dealer and they accepted exchange as they could also see the issue. I selected many other variants but all of them have the same problem though to varying degrees. I selected one with a bit lesser issue but the problem persists. I would suggest that you keep away from this brand until we hear something from the Company.

    I purchased the product from Thane but within a month of use, I found that the glasses are slowly leaving the frame. Since I stay in Tanzania, I cannot come for Gurantee replacement. But surely I have lost my money and even the enthusisasm. I though It is Titan name, so it should be flawless, but some how feel cheated.

    It's all bogus. After I read this article I tried some models of fast track sunglasses in South City Mall, Kolkata. They are perfectly allright.I even came back with a paior of bikers sunglasses from the some manufacturer.They give the same comfort like Ray-Ban.I also feel money wise its more worth than a Ray-Ban and would recommend it to anybody.

Sir, your products are guaranteed to be of a very high quality thats why people go for it. But sorry to say they are not worth purchasing.

    If I am not mistaken Sunglasses are supposed last atleast couple of months but It did not last a month even

    There is cracking voice coming out while shaking or hanling it. even when i wear it it gives the same results. Its disturbing that i brought a costly product and is of no use

    Disagree with the complaint. I too use fastrack sunglasses since quite long & does not have any issues. Better check with authorised TITAN service center

    I totally disagree with the people who are making complaints. I have been using Fast Track for the past 6 YEARS. I have bought 7 sunglasses from them out of which i am using 3 now. So far i am completely satisfied. I guess the people who are cribbing so much got the duplicate ones. There are a lot of fake glasses available in the market and if you dont buy it from the showroom, then you are totally sucked up. Sorry guys

    Please let me know the authenticity of Fast Track Eye Gear.
    You all will be surprised That I bought a sunglasses from the road side here in Delhi which are duplicate Fast Track and if you sit and match the same with the original one they both look similar and no differance one can find.
    Even the quality of is also same
    So please tell me how can I differentiate between the two.
    The road side Cost Rs 250/- and the original cost 1750/- approx

    i brought a eye gear 5 month bank .I faced a problem with the glass this is 3rd time i am facing this kind of problem.

    I had purchased a fastrack sun glass [MO58BK2] from the Titan showroom, Thrissur on 31/08/2010. I always had high regards for Titan products and had been a loyal customer for years, however I got extremely dissatisfied with this product as its leg broke just after 2 months usage without any kind of mishandling. At the time of purchase 1 year warranty was assured by the shop owner, so I went back to the showroom the next day on 02/12/2010, but they asked me to go to the Titan Service centre near by.

    On reaching there they replied that they can't repair this, the only option available is they can get me a purchase coupon of Rs. 1207/- [the actual product costed me Rs.2195/-] after 45% deduction. I agreed on this as I had no other option, and submitted the product along with the bill on 02/12/2010. And they said it will take just 3-4 days and on the bill given to me the Approx date was mentioned as 06/12/2010. However I didnt get any call from them even after 6th, so I called them up today on 07/12/2010 to know the status. I was shocked to hear them denying they assured the coupon in 3-4 days. Now they are saying they never said that and it will take 2 weeks at least to deliver the coupon.

    To say the least, I am hurt by this kind of response from you people. I never expected this kind of treatement from the Titan group whom I always admired and I am very sorry to say this. I don't even know whether these people are telling me the actual truth or they are simply bluffing. Any can help me out on this?..

    In my opinion when the sunglass in defective and it was accepted by service center there is no point they have to refund or else have to give new sunglass.
    if they behaved so badly to u don hesitate go to consumer forum and file a suit against them.

    Dear Sir,
    I don't have any nearby fastrack showroom so i purchased Model No - P048BK1 in RS - 1295 form nearby local optical showroom but i unable to find the same on your website so want to confirm this is your product or not if not than what i should do. pls revert.
