Discount Tire replacing/repairing my tire that picked up nail.

When I bought the tire with all the warranties that cover it, the staff sold it to me with a smile and thank you appreciations, but when i took the tire back to have it repair/replace, they act like they do not want to be border. When i walk up to the desk to tell them what i want, they told me to go and seat down someone will call you, thirty minutes after, they call me to the counter and told me is going to take 5 hours to have it replace with a mean look and no customer concerns at all. I have been going to discount tire for a long time, i think the company should periodically have in services with the staff regarding customer relations.

Discount Tire I needed a flat tire repair left needing a new tire because sidewall damage caused by removing tire with tire changing machine.

I found a nail in the middle tread area of my left rear tire. I had no sidewall or rim damage. I drove to Discount Tire Center at the above address for a flat tire repair. I waited for the repair and afterwards I was told I needed a new tire because of a large gouge on the sidewall that was not there before the repair. Danovan was the representative assisting me. He advised the damage was previously caused by curb damage. I said the damage was not there before, appeared fresh, was a large gouge from the bead of the tire to the sidewall. Impossible to be caused by a curb. I was not charged for the tire repair but was charged $135 dollars for a replacement tire which Donovan ordered on Sept. 14th for install on the 16th, Hancook Dynapro HP2 235/50r/19. The original tires were purchased New in March of 2019. I don't understand the reason for the damage and aqquired cost of the replacement tire? Can someone please assist me with this problem and how to better resolve this? Rick Flores [protected]@sbcglobal.net.

Discount Tire bad service

They told me that it was gonna take 2 hours to check my truck but I went back 2 in a half hours later to pick it up, it was still parked in the same spot, it wasn't even taken out. They said I was up next, I asked for the managers number to call for a complaint but when I called it was the same guy that gave me the number. I feel discriminated because I'm Mexican, His name was chris wright . Ridiculous

Discount Tire being ignored

I pull up park my car, employee approaches walks by me says nothing, I go into the store, notice 4 to 6 employees in garage area talking but not working on anything, one car is in garage area, guy with red shirt comes in ignores me goes into employees only office, comes back out again ignores me, goes back into garage area, I stand there for awhile and decide to leave. I have always had someone at least say we'll be with you shortly or acknowledge I'm there. I not used to this at discount tire, I'm a long time customer and only get my tires from discount tire and always have experienced excellent customer service

Discount Tire tire repair

I had a nail in my tires, after they
Completed, one wheel the cover was
On wrong. The air valve was not visible. And they put too much air
In both tires. Never check the specs
Located on drivers door. The repair
Was completed on July 19th. I mention the cover to the manager.
He became defensive and said he
Had new people in training.
Shouldn't there be there to check

Discount Tire warranty for my tire

I took my care to 12689 Harper village drive. I needed tire repair because i had a screw in one tire. The manager told me if i didnt buy 2 new back tires he wouldnt fix the front tire that had the screw. I asked ypu mean you wont honor my warrent? He said not until you buy 2 more tires. I will never buy tires from them again. They have you buy an expensive warrenty that they wont honor. I bought all 4 of these tires new a few months ago. I took my car across the road they fixed my tire at Walnarts and there is nothing wrong with my back tires. Discount tire is a rip off and my attorney will be in touch with them.

bad quality service received from a store manager "Austin".
I was asked to pay for the sensor on wheels, where I believe it's alreadly paid, and it should be free of charge.
I left my wheels and tires in the store cuz I will have a newer car, Austin told me I must pay for the sensor two times if I want to get wheels and tires installed

Discount Tire do not honor their rebates

I went in to purchase tires at Discount tires in Stillwater MN. I had to purchase 2 at a time as the car was disabled on the road. The sales person told me that if I purchased 4 tires, I would get a rebate of 10%.
I purchased 2 tires on 2 different receipts for a total of 4 tires, qualifying for the rebate, as instructed by the sales person. I sent in the information and it was denied because it was on 2 different receipts.
Their sales person lied to me plain and simple. I contacted the rebate center and the still denied the rebate.
Lying dishonest sales people.
I will never go there again.

Discount Tire service repair

I went to a discount tire on 01/29/19 at 5818 North Fry Rd, Katy, TX.77449 to repair a road hazard nail repair.Salesperson 300 Ernest Villanueva accused me for tempering the nail by myself and he was very rude to me.Even though they fixed the tire but I left the store with a bad feeling. Discount tire employee don't have any right to accuse me like this without any evidence.I decided to file a complaint with BBB, talk to my attorney about any possible civil action and I'll leave a negative feedback in a google customer review.

Discount Tire nail in tire and advised I needed new tires

Nail and screw in tire..when I returned to get auto was told they could not fix it because nail was too close to edge and they put spare tire on, they had left a voice nail also. I called them back to ensure they put bad tire where spare was. Later realized I didn't have spare..they left bad tire on vehicle. Receipt states fixed tire.

They also told me I would need new tires soon...I have 17000 miles on 60000 mile warrant tires?!? It's a leased vehicle and tires are rotated at each oil change. When I questioned why I needed tires at 17000 miles was told that the tires weren't very good quality and usually don't get 20000 miles even though he said they have 30000 warranty. I went home to check and discovered they have 60, 000 warranty and average $200 each. Not cheap tires if you ask me. The dealership told me someone was just trying to sell me a set of tires. How many people are that gullible?

Discount Tire horrible customer service

Hi,
This is about my PIRELLI P ZEROtires on my FORD mustang bought 2 months ago.
I had a horrible experience at this when i went to the Discount tire store (5540 Arapaho Rd, Dallas, TX 75248) on 12/05/2018 to get my PIRELLI P ZEROtires (front and rear left tires) checked for a bump on them. The following events occurred in sequence.
1. As advised by PIRELLI customer service i asked the representative named Michael to file a claim with PIRELLI for the bad tires and to send them to PIRELLI so that they can be checked for warranty.
He said "" No, we can't do that since it would cost us money"
2. I called back to PIRELLI customer care and told them the situation to which they suggested to Purchase new tires from DISCOUNT TIRE and the store will send the old tires to PIRELLI to check for warranty and if its valid PRELLI will reimburse the money for new tires.
3. I went back in the store to the same representative and after listening to above suggestion he again said "No, we won't do that".
4. I called the PIRELLi customer service again and explained them the situation so they asked to talk to the representative at DISCOUNT TIRE, i went back in gave the representative my phone, they spoke for few minutes and then gave back the phone to me, the customer care at PIRELLI told me that you can buy new tires and the store will give you a 25% discount.
5. As advised i go back in the store and the same representative tells me that i will get the discount on only one bad tire and not the other one and then i ask him "why didn't you mention this in call with customer care at PIRELLI
6. I call back to PIRELLI customer care and then they again talk to the representative and he agrees to give me a 25% discount on both the bad tires.
7. I go back in the store and now he tells me that he won't give me the same PIRELLI P ZERO tires and he will give me another cheap ones so i ask him why didn't you clarify this on the call with PIRELLI customer care and then i say "Thank you" and leave the store and by this time customer service at PIRELLI was closed.

I understand that the tires might be damaged and not covered under warranty too but I am not sure who's at fault here DISCOUNT TIRE or PIRELLI, i just simply experienced horrible customer service and i don't understand why the simple process was not being followed.
And i'm pretty sure even after this long review no action will be taken and in the end it will be the customer who suffers and still ends up paying by his time and money.

Discount Tire tire quality, multiple replacements, and now have another bulging tire.

Hello, I have experienced several problems with my Road Hugger GT Ultra tires on my 2010 Mercedes e550 4matic. I've had to replace 3 front tires in the last year (look under phone number [protected]) and now I have another bulge in the passenger front AGAIN! I have several low profile tires on my other vehicles, and have not experienced any issues with those. Only the Road Huggers. I do not trust those tires any longer, but they are basically brand new, and I RE-PAID for the warranty at the Castleton Indiana store during my last replacement. FYI, I've never heard of having to pay for coverage after just having the same tire that was replaced - REPLACED AGAIN. That is another story. I work in Muncie, so I would prefer to use that shop. Castleton overtightened my front wheel bolts and ruined my brake calipers, even after repeated requests to hand tighten my wheels.

I would think that after the 4th tire replacement, it would be time to offer me a set of safer tires so I don't have to worry about replacing them every couple months, or even worse having a highway speed blowout because of unsafe tires. Please advise. Erney [protected]

Discount Tire procedure for servicing customers

I came into this store on 11/9/18 @ 8 am (i was waiting at the door for them to open). I was the 4th person in line and I waited 15-20 minutes for them wait on me. I needed a flat fixed and put back on the car. The person that wrote me up informed that the tire could not be fixed. I decided to buy a tire, however he had to order it. I paid for the tire in full and was told they would have it today and would call me when it came in. They called to tell me the tire was in and I would have to be patient. When I arrived back at the store I was told there would a 2+ hr. wait. That's my complaint. If I've ordered a tire and paid for it in full why should I have to wait that long. The system is not customer friendly. This has been a very unpleasant experience. The manager was very apologetic, however that does not help me or please me as a customer.

Discount Tire product

On 04/01/2014, I purchased 4 Tyre's for my Honda civic for $451.73 for a warrant of 45000 miles, after driving 21551 miles in 22 months Discount Tyre said I need to replace it. After giving me credit on the remaining miles I had pay additional $243.99 for another set of Tyre's for warranty of 50000 miles that was replace on 02/15/2016. now I driven the car for 27000 in 26 months. I have to replace it for new set of tyres for additional $310. In 4.5 year I will be paying $1, 005.72 for tyres will not last me for 70, 000 miles, They keep blaming on the product and keep saying I need to buy better tyres. These are people who selling me the tyres saying it will last you for 50, 000 mile. I had same issue with other vehicle too. This is how Discount tyres scam you.

Discount Tire tires

Called inquiring about a certain make and model of tire ..was told they Carried it and it was in stock, set appointment for the vehicle to have them installed after installation noticed they were completely wrong tire by Brandon mak carried it and it was in stock, set appointment for the vehicle to have them installed after installation noticed they were completely wrong tire - Not even the same brand of tire which was never even spoke of on the phone when you called to fix the situation they ordered me a different set of tires not the original brand of tire I was looking for, called back in to find out when the tires would be in for installation and when aske not even the same brand of tire which was never even spoke of on the phone when called to fix the situation they ordered me a different set of tires not the original brand of tire I was looking for, called back in to find out when the tires would be in for installation and when I spoke with the original manager named Anthony that promise the tire I was looking for, he tried to say that we did speak about that brand of tire which is completely untrue I proceeded to tell him that he was a liar and he hung up the phone telling me to deal with someone else. Never once did I raise my voice curse or abrasive in anyway. To deserve such treatment, by him telling me that we did speak about those brand of tires that ended up on the car and telling me that I am wrong made me feel as if he was calling me a liar when I was only looking for one specific brand and style of tire which was the Achilles sport to deserve such treatment, by him telling me that we did speak about those brand of tires that ended up on the car and telling me that I am wrong made me feel as if he was calling me a liar when I was only looking for one specific brand and style of tire which was the Achilles ATR sport 2- In the vehicle ended up with Sentry touring tires which I had never heard of nor researched on the Internet so I do not understand why they would put those tires on the vehicle without my consent first of all as which explains why Anthony was being a vase of an untrue and very defensive by hanging up the phone on a customer. Very disappointed, still have not been taken care, of still have the wrong tires on the car, Very disappointed and frustrated at this point and becoming very impatient before I make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

Discount Tire waiting for air service

On Monday October 1st, around 1:15, or so, I went to Discount Tire that is very close to my home. My back tire was pretty low and when I got to discount tire, I pulled into orange cones that said please wait, I was the 2nd person in line waiting for air and I waited 25 minutes for air, there were about 4 or 5 workers, 2 of them weren't doing very much and didn't update me with we will be with you soon and tire was pretty low. I ended up leaving and going to QT gas station for air. I've been to other discount tires for service and never had to wait more then 5 minutes and that's with a long line. They weren't busy. This was the worst experience at Discount Tires at Green Oaks location in Arlington TX. I was going to get my tires replaced at that location but I'll be going somewhere else for service.

Discount Tire tire assembly

On September 15th I brought my car, Nissan Altima for tire balancing services. Unfortunately, during working with a front tire, they broke a nut and it fell inside of the wheel and then required the whole car to be towed to nearest Car-X facility to remove it.
Unfortunately, it was just the beginning of the issue. The nut was removed, but now it requires the whole hub assembly to be redone, which is over $300 and Discount Tire refuse to cover the cost of it.
Now, my car wheel has only 4 nuts instead of 5, which creates severe safety concerns.
I wish I would go to another place. I am highly disappointed with the services and management of this facility. Be aware and stay away!

Discount Tire lost my wheel lock key

I bought new tires a few months back, well I was driving to San Angelo TX yesterday and had a flat tire, I pull over to put the spare on and no wheel lock key, I call the discount tire in Kyle TX where I got my tires and waited 15 min on hold to speak to the manager, then was hung up on, called back, waited another 5 min on hold before a manager finally answered, I told him my situation, I was stranded, on the side of the road, with no way to change my tire, the manager apologizes and says that they're humans and make mistakes, and says if I'm able to get the car to him he will gladly change the tire. I tell him that I'm hours away, stranded on the side of the road, and ask how exactly does he suggest I do that, he then tells me that accidents happen, and he's sorry they forgot to give me my key back. I sat on the side of the road for two hours before I could get a tow, and then spent $370 just to be towed to town, then had to hammer a socket on the lugnut to finally be able to put the spare on. The manager offered nothing other than to change my tire if and when I was able to get my car all the way back to Kyle, now I'm left with three wheels I have no key to get off, four lugnuts on my rear tire, and $370 less in my pocket.

I went to a discount tire as I have for many years. It never fails where I have a problem. I have come to the determination the problem is mostly with women. They know women do not have the proper knowledge about cars and tires.

Let me tell you about the incident's that has happen over the years and you make the determination.

1. I went to a discount tire a couple of years ago on [protected]@ Main in Houston Texas because my from end was shaking violently. I thought it needed a tire balance. I walked in and they checked out my vehicle. I was then told I need two new tires. I purchased the new tires and got on the road. I could only make it and the freeway and off at the next exit due to the shaking in the wheels. I immediately got off and went back to discount tires. They rechecked but this time the manager came and told me that I need all new tires. I placed my computer, purse and a mini tape recorder I was listening to a lecture on the counter to fine my wallet. I asked the manger are you sure this is the problem? He stated yes ma'am if you put all new tires on you vehicle it will stop shaking. I knew this purchase would max out my credit card but I needed these tires or so I thought. I paid for the other two tires which now makes a complete set. I pull out onto the freeway and had to get back of at the next exit. I returned and confronted the manager. I said you told me if I replaced all four of the tires on my Expedition truck it would no longer shake and vibrate. He then said that is not what I said! I pulled the tape recorder out of my purse and played it for him and all customers to hear. One even saying, "you did tell the lady that; I heard you."
I asked for my original tires back. I was told in one hour all four of my tires where gone. I was forced to buy tires I did not need. The next day the truck was put in the shop and It had absolutely nothing to do with the tires. I was given my money back and complemented the tires, "I'm sure because of the tape recorder".

2. The air was going out of one tire. I had to air it up weekly. I went into discount tires where the tires where purchased along with the warranty. I want told the rim was bent. I was then told it could not be fixed because the rims was chrome. Chrome could not be repaired. He offered to sale me a full set for about $1000, As I stood there thinking, I can not afford new rims at this time. I felt pressured and then he became rude stating "ok but don't call us when you are stranded and the side of the road." I went back to me office and google places to fix chrome wheels. I had the wheel repaired on my way home for a (WHOPPING) $60.00. This is a long way from $1000.

3. Stopped by discount tire on I10E close to Federal, Houston Texas. I had a nail in my tire due to construction at my job. It was almost closing time but a nice you man by the name Robert helped me. I was grateful because I new he wanted help the last of the customers, clean up and get off. They did a great job, there I go thinking again!. I had to go back to Discount tire about a month or two later and discovered they did not put my wheel lock back in my glove compartment where it has been for years. I had a flat so I had to make a choice. Let them break the wheel lock off my rims or have my car towed from discount tire home. I let them break the wheel locks off.

4.Just last week I went to a discount time off I10E freeway again. I guess I did not learn my less I had a nail and wanted a rotation. I was done in about 30 minutes. I was then given the paper work upon completion and a broken cap from my rim. I asked what is this? it is the cap from your rim, as you can see it looks like it was already broken right there. I told the young man, no if I did not have it in my hand when I came in, I do not want to have it in me hand when I drive out. He then tells me Maam what do you want me to do? I said I want a cap that is not broken for my rim. He said I will go half with you. I said 'I did not break half of the cap, so why should I pay? I asked for the manager. He said he was the manager and he would order the cap. I was called the next day and left a message. The cap was ordered and would take 3months. I called the location and asked to speak to the manager. I was told this is the manager and the person that ordered your part told me about it and it is going to take 3 months. I asked if it was anywhere else he could get the part sooner. He replied as a courtesy we ordered the part. I then was through talking to the employees and the discount tire. I asked for the district or regional person and was given the wrong number. The discount employee asked where did they give you this number, this is the wrong number. We do not handle that area. I was finally give the correct number and able to speak to someone. He apologized and said a new manager had been sent to that location and has no knowledge of any thing. So the employees that where representing them selves as managers where not manners

as of today 11/11/16 I have not received my part but I did not call. As usual the ball was kicked into someone else's corner. I was treated like I was a bother for even wanting my rim fixed. I have never has such bad treatment.
Today is a Veterans day in the nation but it is always veterans day for Discount tire. They are veterans at ripping people off.

Discount Tire deceptive sales &/or "bait & switch"

on 07/18/2016 I called discount tires in Mooresville n.c to purchase new tires, I had found a set of tires online for $58 each, I talked with josh (manager), he said they no longer sale that tire but that for $328 he could upgrade my tires to a national brand (continental or general) (JOSH named the two brands) when I got to discount tire I talked to Al he couldn't believe someone would quote me that price & called josh up, because I had wrote down what josh had said & al said it was apparent that I was told that price or I wouldn't have kept notes. I explained I was going into the hospital on 07/25/2016 for major surgery & was trying to take care of the car before going into the hospital. well I ended up with tires I never heard of & very displeased with the tires & the way they were sold to me . I feel this was deceptive sales practice &/or "bait & switch" I feel taken advantage of because I told josh I was trying to take of a lot of stuff before going into the hospital . this is my second time to be done this way by discount tire the first time the store took care of the problem at the store the store needs to put the tires I was promised on my car . invoice #1440030
