Tire Kingdom - gasoline redemption

On 10/13/08 I had my car serviced at tire kingdom and due to amount of money I spent ($730.57) I was advised I was entitled to receive up to five hundred dollars in gas or merchandise from the brand gas station of my choice and was given an activitation code fgr6741041600. Companies offering this promotion were ntb, merchant's and tire kingdom.

All I needed to do was mail in $100 in receipts on gas purchased within the month. I have a letter that was mailed to me from the secure gas redemption place, with vouchers that I needed to return each month. I was to mail them to free gas, 14100 walsingham rd ste 36 #12, largo fl 33774

On 1/26/09, after numerous calls [protected]) as the phone line was busy, I was successful in reaching a representative (nick) who in turn told me my 1st voucher was in the mail and I should have it by friday of that week.

As nothing as come to date I tried calling the same number back and am now being told on the phone that this number is invalid, therefore I went on the website that is listed on my paperwork for any questions (www.SecureGasRedemtion.com/faq.asp) and am now being advised that this is a scam.

Could you please assist. I have all my paperwork advising that I was entitled to $500 in free gas.

Thank you,
Colleen roy

Ok...For those out there with the complaint on the Gasoline Redemption Voucher. I have an update, as I have furthered my complaint.

I called Tire Kingdom and was advised that there was a problem with the [protected] number. I needed to call and speak wih Martha @ [protected]. At this number I was advised if I was calling in regards to the Gas Redemption, I needed to call [protected].

I called this number and spoke with Alex, who needed my redemption code. He was able to find me in the computer on the 3 months vouchers that I have sent in.

He indicated that there was a mass mailing sent out in January and there is another one that should be going out SOON. We'll see, however he seemed helpful and assuring and advised me that this IS NOT A SCAM. Again, we'll see.

I hope this is helpful to those in the same boat.

It is so funny that I signed up for this same program but the companies name was at www.freegasredemption.com. I spoke to the marketing agent responsible for this program in Tirekingdoms corporate location. Her name is Diane Smith. She can be reached at [protected] ext 2454. Call her and tell her your stories. The AG of State of Florida took over receivership of Tidewater Marketing who went under many names, Do a google search on free gas redemption complaints. You will see that Tire Kingdom failed to even research this company first and Tidewater had complaints going back to early part of 2007. How can Tirekingdom do this? Read this link below.

A Clearwater marketing company on Friday agreed to stop promoting its "free gas" voucher program, in response to a lawsuit filed last week by the Florida Attorney General's office after thousands of Floridians complained they never got the promised fuel.

The complete article can be viewed at:

People that were scammed should also stand in front of the Tirekingdom location and protest, ruin their business for the day. Also go to www.tirekingdom.com, scroll to the bottom of the page and this is what is posted on their site.

A Special Message concerning the gas promotion

Tire Kingdom recently engaged in promotion where customers who purchased tires became eligible to participate in a gasoline voucher program from Tidewater Global Marketing and www.gasolineredemption.com Tire Kingdom paid for its customers to participate in this program. Unfortunately, it now appears that Tidewater Global Marketing may be unable to fulfill its obligations under the program.

Tire Kingdom prides itself in customer service. Tire Kingdom will implement an alternative program. Tire Kingdom is finalizing the details of this alternative program, and will make them available soon. Please check back on this website in the next few days to receive final information on the details and requirements.

What we should be demanding from Tirekingdom is to fulfill this offer and give us the $500.00 gas card in one card. Email me at ricke3661@gmail.com if anyone wants to spend a day protesting in front of the corporate location in Jupiter Florida.
