I used Tinder for months and had minor issues but nothing horrible. I then bought Tinder Gold to get boosts and hopefully increase my matches, and within one week I was banned out of nowhere. There was no explanation, no warning of any wrong doing, I dont even think I had any matches at the time. I have contacted support and they have not helped nor offered a refund for this issue, hence me filing this complaint.

I've been talking to customer support for more than 1 month, nobody can solve my problem.
I have a tinder account since 2014. This year I changed to plus. After a inconvenient episode, my phone was stolen, I was not able to restore my plus again.
Every help I get it from support says the same: restore your purchase, reinstall the app.. like an automatically answer, despite I've saying that is not working. It says: You have an active account. I can't find this active account.. I can't delete it.. I just ask for support to delete all my accounts and give my plus back! More than a month and nobody help me.. it is really frustrating... believe me. I paid in a single payment of 350 reais (almost 100SD).

I was banned off tinder for no reason at all. I didn't break any rules and when I tried to contact them about this issue I asked for an explanation and they just said I violated the rules but I have no clue how. I had no bad pictures, or a bad bio. They simply said "it looks like you were banned for violating the terms" and when I replied back to the email with further questioning they won't contact me back. Ridiculous and unfair.

I was banned for no reason twice on Tinder. I never did anything against guidelines and never received any explanation about the ban whatsoever. You can refer to their "support desk" but its just an email bot that sends the exact same messages over and over again. It doesn't matter if you have plus or gold either. They take their reports "very seriously" but can't give you evidence or even the slightest bit of an explanation at all. Its very frustrating because I have had to go through this twice and refund everything twice. I communicated with their "support desk" people twice with the exact same results and messages both times. First with "someone" named Rebecca, and second with "someone" named Kyle. I would like my account unbanned or at least one of them because they are both gone and I really don't feel like making a third facebook account and setting up a third phone number. Its ridiculous and apparently this happens to a lot of people but they do nothing about it. They just say "Oh well, sucks to be you". Very childish and unprofessional.

Hi, my account has been banned and I don't have any reason or notice by you why this has happened ? I know I haven't used this app inappropriately in anyway. I am on this app to find my future partner so why would I go against the rules and condition ?

Hi my name is Chelbi, so I was talking to this guy and at first he seemed very nice and I might have been interested but then he started to get sexual with me and I had asked him to please stop he was asking me question like where do you want me to put it and do you wanna suck on it. After I had told him to stop several times he said okay I'm sorry and then proceeds to ask if I wanted to have sex with him and I said no that is not what I am looking for on here I am sorry. And a couple minutes later I get a report saying I had gotten banned from tinder, is there anything I can do to get back onto my tinder?

I've been a tinder user on and off for years. In that time my account has been deleted without notice multiple times, and now I'm banned for no reason. I went through all the terms of service, and I've never violated any guidelines. However, I have noticed a trend. This only happens when I reject a guy or the conversation isn't going smoothly. This time around I was speaking to a guy who has BDSM pictures up all over his account and in the description "looking for someone to play with". I was asking him basic questions that anyone in that scene knows to ask. (you don't just jump into bddm with someone lightly) if anyone wants further info on this subject YouTube Evie Lupine and Britney Simon as they're great educators. But I quickly noticed he was a predator that targets people who are new to the scene and the next thing I knew my [censored]ing account was banned. This is just one example of how [censored]ed up and sexist tinder is. It seems they delete and ban my account if a guy doesn't like what he hears and this needs to get a lot more attention than it is getting. This company should be shut down without notice or reason just like they do to its users.

I was doing fine on tinder and next thing ik I can't log in for some reason and I only recently found out I was banned and idk y because I didn't get an email about it or anything. I checked community guidelines and I don't think i've done anything wrong, but I did report a kid who I knew was only 16/17 cus he went my primary school so I reported him for being underage. I've paid for and used tinder for several years. Im a paying customer! I decided to do a little research last week to try and write a better bio so maybe i'd have better luck with matches. I updated my bio and did not write anything inappropriate. I did not write anything that I haven't seen before on other profiles. I listed a few things I am looking for in a partner, and none were discriminatory. I kept using the same photos i've used for a while as well. The next morning I open tinder and a message displays that says I have been banned. I also had no active conversations with any matches at the time.

I took a screenshot of the ban msg and sent it support explaining what was going on. Well a few days later, the person named madison that was "helping" me sent me a final msg that's a generic response saying that I am banned and an appeal will not be allowed. If one person on the app dont like you cause of how you look or what you say in your bio and they report you, youre banned for life! How unfair! I'm disgusted I ever gave them my money.

Hi there! My account on tinder was banned for no reason whatsoever. I had my account set up for less than a couple of hours. I had swiped away; did not match with anyone so I didn't even have a single conversation. The next day I went to the app and I couldn't log-on/received an error message; I sent them an e-mail asking why I couldn't log-on and they replied saying I had violated the "terms of use or the community guidelines in some way". I emailed them asking to advise what rule(s) I had violated, they simply said "they take violations seriously …. Unfortunately cannot provide any more detailed information" and I was to re-read all the terms of use (which I did). And they said they "do not offer appeals". I actually took the time and have read through the terms of service and community guidelines and for the life of me cannot find any violation I may have allegedly committed (?). All I want to understand is why the ban, and allegedly which rule(s) I broke. I also did a search online about tinder bans, and found so many complaints about no reason for banning users. I will not use the tinder app ever again (and apparently they will never let me), but I would like for them to provide evidence of my guilt and I would like my name/account cleared. Innocent until proven guilty. I also wonder if users who were banned for no reason can "ban together for a reason" again them …

I opened tinder one day and I didn't do anything I was just swiping and it went gray and said my account has been banned. I did not break any rules. My pics were face shots. I was dressed appropriately. I wasn't using vulgar or rude language. I didn't do anything other than swipe. And now I can't even make a new account cuz the banned one is still hooked up to my number.
Can you guys re activate it or anything? Cuz that's not even fair because I didn't violate the rules. I would understand if I had but I didn't

I woke up in the morning to find an error on my log in. I didntbknow what was up just thought the servers were down or something. Then aftr couple of days I started to wonder what was up, turns out i got banned for violating tge terms and conditions of the app. I looked through all of it and found no reason for me to get banned since i havent violated any of them. As soon as I contacted tinder support, they told me im banned and theres nothing they will do about it and theres nothing I can do about it.

So I just set up my account with my Facebook, and well meanwhile I was editing my bio and chose my pictures, my screen cut to a scream which indicated I was banned. I'm sure there was no real reason. Earlier in the year my other account was banned as well, but I was never sure why either, as much as I want to use tinder, I can't because of all of the bans put on my accounts.

I was created tinder a few weeks ago was logged in with a phone number and then i logged out the app cause I thought it was crushed I didn't get any matches and all the people in there were the same all over again, earlier i was trying to logged in again and it told me to create new account with the same phone number. Does anyone know how to fic this? Please let me know, thank you.

I was banned within 24 hours of paying for the service without explanation. I have no idea what I've done wrong. They took my money and I had only around 24 hours of use of the service. I've written them. This is theft. They took $29.99 of my hard earned money. People should be aware that they can lose their money subscribing to Tinder. Tinder should have an appeals process before banned paid subscribers.

So less than 24 hours prior I had made a tinder. Then I was banned when I tried to relog into it. I requested that they explain why I was banned. They gave me the response of you have been banned for violating the terms of service and I had 6 picture ALL PG and I hadn't messaged anyone. I never falsified any part of my profile and the only thing I can think of is the Fact that my LEGAL NAME is Dixie. So unless my legal and biological name is gross misconduct I have no idea what I did wrong.

I had a moment of curiosity and weakness you might say and I found myself signing up for Tinder account via the phone, easily done in minutes.
The free access is of no use at all to test the system so I subscribed to Gold thinking it would be the best way to try it out.
Within a week I realised it was not what it was cracked out to be and fell well short of my expectations so I deleted my account and thought no more of it! That is until the took another payment of £27.00 the next month.
I have been trying to contact them for weeks trying to resolve the dispute and get a refund but you have got absolutely no chance, every excuse going, they don't respond to for weeks and drag it out and then tell you actually you cannot get a refund! See Note Below:-

Between Google and Tinder they will steal your money and you have no chance of seeing it back.
I wouldn't mind but the app or service they run is a joke and I am very suspicious of it's legitimacy.

Hey there, I was banned from tinder for no reason at all, I'm 18 so it wasn't a violation that way. Also I'm very careful with what I say online, I'm never offensive or anything, always respectful and polite. I was inactive for a couple months because I got really busy with work and didn't have time to sit down for hours and swipe left or right. When I redownloaded the app and tried to log in it told me I was banned. I don't understand and am actually quite upset over this. Plz unban me or at least tell me exactly what I did :(
