I live in Washington Court House Ohio and we have 1 Tim Hortons. I have been there 3 times in the last 2 months with Saturday 12/15/2018 being the last day I visited there to buy me a Ice capp. Each time I went there for the Ice capp the machine has been broken. I went inside on Saturday and I asked the girl working there how long it had been broken and she...

Tim Hortons store number 3385 wrongful dismissal/hostile work environment

I worked at Main Street Tim Horton's for almost one month. During that month I was treated as subhuman by the managers there, Mark McNair and Merrie K. I was constantly made to feel worthless, micromanaged to death (to the point that I could not focus on my job) and verbally abused on front counter by the managers, in front of customers and other workers, particularly Merrie. I was somehow expected to do the baking AND wait on customers AND do drive thru, all because Mark didn't feel like forcing the high school employees to do anything. I was terminated without following proper procedure, for an offense not and upon my termination was informed that I had been written up three separate times, NONE of which were discussed with me, and I was given absolutely no verbal warning. Check the statements, they're unsigned. Following an incident in which Merrie screamed at me for almost fifteen solid minutes in front of other workers and customers, Mark took me aside and without giving me a chance to speak or defend myself, terminated me. This WILL be taken up with the Maine Better Business Bureau. I was provided information on "Always Fair" HR intervention, only to find that the information I was given was fake, and a dead end. Mark is the owner, so directing my complaints to the owner, who was the primary perpetrator of this hostile work environment, does not work. I do not wish to be reinstated, as I do not wish to sacrifice my time to someone who treats me as less than human, BEYOND the normal corporate-drone mentality of simply working in fast food. This management team systematically breaks people, and when I told Merrie during the initial incident to leave me alone, she broke into a huge grin and asked if I was quitting. That told me absolutely everything I needed to know about Tim Horton's. I did everything I could to make it work, even staying late and volunteering to help with holiday shifts, and I was rewarded with being treated like garbage from the moment I first punched in, and steadily worsened over the month.

Tim Hortons tired of [censored]ty service but terrified of choking on objects that should not be in the food i’m ordering/eating and paying fir😡😢

On Tuesday evening I got a bacon/chicken/ranch wrap from our local Tim Horton's in Redford street in Port Alberni BC Canada.
Half way through my wrap I'm chewing something that felt odd but thought it was a stem of the lettuce, continue chewing and swallow, now I'm choking!
If that's not terrifying I don't know what is.
I was lucky enough to be able to shove my finger in my throat and bring up a large piece of PLASTIC yes PLASTIC out that was in my wrap!
This is not only wrong and disgusting but disgraceful!
I know accidents happen but seriously this could have ended up a lot worse for me!
I'm a valued customer who gets breakfast there 5 mornings a week and sometimes lunch or dinner and also a daily ice Capp.
This has terrified me beyond words!
Not too sure if I'll be back...
Upset, disgusted, annoyed, angry and concerned ...
Sincerely
Tammy Lambert

Hi. This is intended as productive and is bereft of personal malice. I would like to report that the franchise at 155 Lynden Road in Brantford. The staff has no sense of direction or urgency, it has bevcome busy there as it is the only franchise in a developing industrial park. The staff at times is rude and ignores people in the growing lineups. I have had...

I recently visited the Scarborough Tim hortons on 4820 Sheppard ave east. I'm a delivery driver all over the GTA and this restaurant by far is the most disgusting one that I have ever been in. I purchased my coffee and noticed the bathroom door said to ask staff for entry yet it was already unlocked. I took my coffee into the washroom, I should have come...

Tim Hortons new hoagie steak sandwich

On Dec. 8 I purchased a double steak hoagie meal with unsweetened ice tea. Upon getting home and opening the sandwich, I found a bun, three slices of swiss cheese, and very little meat at all. Immediately called the manager ([censored]'t.) and voiced my displeasure. She said on my next trip to give my name (which she wrote down) and the sandwich would be replaced.

Today, Dec. 11, I tried again to get the same sandwich. I asked the worker who handed me another sandwich if this time it had the meat in it. Much to my disappointment, I opened the bun and only saw a tad more meat, cheese of two types ripped and smashed into the sandwich.

It seems to me that if you advertise "Double Meat"; the bottom of the bun ought to at least, at the very minimum should be covered with meat. The advertising picture shows 1.5 to 2 inches of meat...very deceptive.

I've had the turkey hoagie and was not disappointed with it. Maybe the steak hoagie should be taken off the menu since it is not as advertised. You still have the best unsweetened ice tea in town.

Needless to say, I will not be trying this again and plan to post my pictures to my facebook page so no one else will be as disappointed as I am.

Tim Hortons drive thru food service

On Saturday December 8, 2018 I went through the drive thru at King and park gas bar for coffee and a tea biscuit and croissant. I know there is always a big rush to get customers through but the quality should not suffer. It did. I received a tea biscuit with enough butter to cause a heart episode. I could scrape it off or toss it out. I tossed it. Next the croissant ordered toasted with butter for a child was burnt to black in the ends and had that horrid burnt taste. Much disappointment. I did not turn around and go directly back as I was on the highway 401 to attend a family event. I could not risk being late. Extremely disappointed I actually stopped at a grocery store once off the 401 and purchased a chocolate milk and tray of muffins for my child and the rest of us.
I find the quality often suffers in the pressure of the drive thru and am very disapointed in Tim's. Both my wife and I work and go everyday for coffee on the way. We are re thinking this. Perhaps Keurig needs our business too.
Sincerely, Kevin Matchett and Melissa Somerville. [protected]@gmail.com or [protected]@gmail.com

Tim Hortons breakfast waffles

I was informed this morning that Tim's no longer offers breakfast waffles, even though there is still a large "waffle" sign at the counter. I must offer my personal apologies to the St. Albert Tims, to Mr. Trevingen (sp?), etc. because I am certain this is all my doing. I should never have said how much I enjoyed those items. Once I said that, they were doomed. I am well known at the St. Albert Tim's (the southern one ). Also known at the one on Villeneuve Road, where they seem to know that I need ice cream. Drat - now Tim's will probably drop ice cream cones.

Tim Hortons store 177 won’t sell item on menu

On dec 2 2018 I stop at the Tim Horton store on division street. I asked to buy a ranch snack wrap and was informed buy the staff that they weren't aloud to sell the mini snack wrap because they are only for the timmies boxes.
But I said you can order anything from the timmies box on the side, and if they have the items to make my item why can I order one, at this point the staff told me that they were told by there manager Anna that they weren't to sell the snack wrap and if they did they would get in trouble. I work for Tim Horton and my store still sell the snack wrap and I also know you can sell items from the timmies box on the side.
I wasn't happy with my visit to store 177 and I don't understand why a manager would inform her staff to not sell an item if they have the ingredients. I guess she doesn't want her customer to have a great experience and doesn't care about losing a sale. I won't be buying food from this store again.

Tim Hortons drive thru

Hi.. 3 days in a row, ive gone to the hortons on upper paradise and mohawk. Huge wait time. 10 to 14 min.
only ordered 2 coffees and 1 hot chocolate.
The girls are Very rude. Passed my coffees almost in a throwing manner. One of the lids was not on proper. Spilled on myself and burned my hand. No apologies. Or sorry for wait time.
Today when i went, i also waited 10 min, while all the girls talked and filled tea bags and standing around. We were the only car.
Not too happy about being burned due to their carelessness. And waits should not be 10 min. Very unhappy.

Tim Hortons menu items

last month or so, i went into tim hortons at about 11 pm, the sign above the cash said breakfast all day, so i ordered a biscuit and other breakfast items, they told me, "we don't have any", so i came back the next morning, they once again told me, we dont have anything ready, why do you falsely advertise breakfast all day then? and it's not just that, several times i have ordered dark roast, the bring me an extremely watered down coffee or a regular, which i did not order, they are understaffed, and ill prepared too often, i ordered a ham and cheddar a couple of different times and they told me we dont have anything to make that right now...so then get it!? but then i look at the stack of bread for the sandwiches on the counter, so they lied because they were too lazy to do their job, i waited half an hour one time for 1 sausage biscuit because evidently the cook didn't have anything ready, piss poor service, false advertising and pure laziness, your lack of authority does not deligate my responsibility, nor does your lack of responsibility delagate my authority, if your staff cannot do their job to the standards set before them, then they ought not be working there for the public, what if i was a trucker that hadnt eaten all day and they told me, i dont have any or i am not prepared, i would be livid, i assure you no one on the road just wants donuts to eat after a long work day on the road, this location has had many upset customers, not to mention staff that are obviously not into their jobs, they roll their eyes, or sigh loudly for all to hear, like its my fault they hate their job, then don't work there, but when i go in to order something, and pay my money to them, i expect service and standards just like any other place of business, i have been going to tim hortons since i was little, so as a loyal customer, i expect something to be done about this lack of initiative.

Tim Hortons drive thru exchange

This is something very small.…
After I ordered through the drive-through she told me to pull up from my total price. Once I got there the girls seem annoyed that I didn't have the money ready… It seems quite obvious to me that if she's going to tell me my total after I get to the window she should be more patient and allowing me to get the money out. Instead of slamming the window in my face because it's cold and she has to wait.

Tim Hortons gina kron /adrian nutt

This morning as I came into work I was again diciplined and this time fired while off the clock. Your company has a off the clock policy. I feel that this is wrong. Although I missed work on sat. I am a minister and had a funeral to attend. Which was fully explainex in the 7 shifts note when giving up the shift. I would also like to stress they fact that as I have have worked at all three locations multiple employees have givin up a shift on 7 shifts and no coverage was found and they never showed up and were never terminated. A cross reference of time sheets to hrs worked will verify my claim. I feel in light of the prior complaints I have made that it is unfair that I was fired in this matter and plan to make a complaint to the dept of labor in this matter. Working there and kbowubg that multiple other employees have done this and not been fired is upsetting. Also to be disciplined 2 times off the clock is not right. I was asked this morning to not punch in and go in the office. At which time I was disciplined and fired. Which is against the off the clock policy new york state has in place. I will be at the dept of labor this morning to file a complaint. Further more I was at tim hortorns fri speaking infront of adrian to a friend about not being able to work sat due to a funeral. So he in turn at that point had prior knowledge and had a chance to make arangements. As to he was aware of the situation. Ty

Tim Hortons service

Just went thru the drive thru in airdrie an just off Yankee valley. Ordered or tried to order m3d ice cap with a espresso shot, med ice cap with choco milk and 20 pk of timbits -no choco cake. People that are not good with the English language seem to always be on the speaker at Tim hortons most always when I go thru. Why that's even allowed is beyond me, you just don't get that at mcdonalds, most anywhere. They guy asked twice on the speaker what we were asking for, finally gets us thru and asked at the window 2 more times, the runner girl grabbed the timbit box and we noticed he wasn't explaining the no choco cake timbits and my daughter who was driving asked if they understood and for the 5th time had to repeat no chocolate timbits please. How hard is it to simply order just a couple things. It's should be be that hard to order. It's frustrating as hell. It should be a mandatory rule if your not good with English language you can't be on the speaker, let alone a window. Still amazes me Canada just lets these people into our country yet they can't speak our language properly

I suggest that before you go on poking fun of other people or not being able to speak English you should work on your own English. You have numerous spelling, grammar and punctuation errors in your review. You have run on sentences. Let me dissect your post and correct your own English mistakes.

Here is your post

Just went thru the drive thru in airdrie (The I in Airdrie should begin with a capital letter.

an just off Yankee(The V in Valley should be in a capital letter) valley.

Ordered or tried to order m3d ice cap with a espresso shot, med ice cap with choco milk and 20 pk of timbits -no choco cake.(should have used a comma before ordered, and tried to order)

People that are not good with the English language seem to always be on the speaker at Tim hortons most always when I go thru.

(The word that should be replaced with the word who) (the word thru should be replaced with the word through)
Why that's even allowed is beyond me, you just don't get that at mcdonalds, most anywhere. (Mcdonalds should begin with a capital letter.

They guy asked twice on the speaker what we were asking for, finally gets us thru and asked at the window 2 more times,
(No need to continue the sentence after this. Just use a period. This is called a run on sentence)

the runner girl grabbed the timbit box and we noticed he wasn't explaining the no choco cake timbits and my daughter who was driving asked if they understood and for the 5th time had to repeat no chocolate timbits please.
(The runner should be a new sentence, and therefore should begin with a capital letter.) (The employee should be referred to as lady, not a girl since she is over 18.)

How hard is it to simply order just a couple things.
(This is a question not a statement and therefore should end with a question mark not a period.

. It's should be be that hard to order.
(it's should be it) (Should, should be should not)

t's frustrating as hell. It should be a mandatory rule if your not good with English language you can't be on the speaker, let alone a window.

Still amazes me Canada just lets these people into our country yet they can't speak our language properly.
(You did not end your last sentence with a period.

Since your own English is just as poor, if not poorer, maybe it is YOU who should not have been allowed in Canada.

Here are a few suggestions.

The reason that the people cannot understand English is because what you think is English is not proper English. Learn how to speak proper English yourself before judging. Chances are they do know English, but cannot understand you because it is you who is not fluent in English.

If you own English skills are so poor that it looks like this was posted by a nine year old child, don't call grown women girls.

Leave Canada, because clearly as someone who cannot speak English should not live there by your own standards. Also stay the hell out of USA as well, we have our own non English speaking people as well. People like you.

Tim Hortons pumpkin spice latte & customer service

I submitted a complaint but have not heard back as yet so here I am submitting my complaint again and hopefully will hear back this time. I was in your store at Hwy 9 & Airport Rd Thanks giving weekend in October and the Pumpkin spiced latte I purchased tasted burnt. Was not a pleasant taste. Then 2 weeks later I was at the Tim Hortons drive through at Airport Rd and Mayfield Rd and ordered 2 pumpkins spiced lattes and was told to wait in the parking lot. There were no parking spaces to be had and ended up blocking several customers with my car. I waited 7 minutes to receive 2 lattes. This is totally unacceptable! I believe customer service and products have deteriorated at Timmies and to tell you the truth I believe I will be switching to McDonalds as service is much better there.

Tim Hortons rip off

Generally I purchase my tins of Tim Hortons Original Ground Coffee and my grocery store for $17.98, however, I thought perhaps since this is your product I would be less expensive. On November 5, 2018 I entered my local coffee shop and inquired as to the cost. I was told is was $19.99. I asked the clerk why it was that Tim Horton inflates the price being their product and told her what I always pay. I was told "We don't control the price" I was surprised with that response. If Tim Hortons doesn't control the price who does? This is a rip off for sure.
I have since returned to my grocery store to purchase and now see that you are not including the small plastic measuring spoon. So that's gone so you cost is reduced for but for the customer.
I would appreciate a response to my complaints.
Regards,

D. O'Brien
