Tim Hortons management attitude/actions

On saturday july 21st/18 between 4-7 pm (can't remember the exact time) I went in to have coffee with my husband. Miss kerry kaus refused to serve us and swapped a supervisor in training on till long enough to serve us and then she swapped back with him and that was incredibly rude, let me preface this with the fact I used to work for her up until early july. I waited for two of my friends so we could have some coffee and chat. My husband left as my friends arrived but he witnessed kerry being very unprofessional (as we placed our order)! My two friends arrived (one is a current employee for this location and one is a former employee). She came up to me and very rudely asked me why I called the health board on mary joy cantouban (supervisor of lacombe) I said the dome lid incident was too much for me to handle but I did not call the health board (yet). I told miss kaus ' if I had phoned the health board you would know it, I would have called glen and told him my self but I never did). Her response was 'yes you did"I told her"no, I didn't!"she responded with" yes, you did!"I was so mad at that point. I am a customer now! She has no right to come and harass me and my friends as we were not loud or disruptive. Miss kaus has no respect for her emloyees and their privacy! When I worked for her she phoned the store and (I did not know there were two other staff members in her vehicle) and she began discussing my medical issue in front of them! The employee who is my friend who joined us was treated horribly that evening! Miss kaus said" I need to speak to you"and began asking and harassing her about a shift she had to call out of. She did it so loud most of the store could hear her. Kerry was so loud and rude that a table of guests got up and left. I hard the customers who left mumble" what a [censored], how can she have the nerve to treat her staff that way"she had no regard for that employees right to privacy! We heard her take away some of the employees shifts. This employee began a second job because she was not getting her promised 4 hours (she maybe got 25-30 if she was lucky) kerry was mad because she wanted her to have open availability. It makes no sense to me because why does this one employee need hers to be completely open when shell work with her filipino staff? She then went to the other lady sitting at our table (former employee) and says"you cant work at iga and tims at the same time you know that!"the other lady responded with" yeah well you said you would work with my schedule and I submitted my copy's to you early and you scheduled me to work when I was scheduled at my other job." kerry continued to [censored] and complain and be rude to us. We got up and ;eft like she is the most ignorant, rude and disrespectful manager i've ever dealt with! How can she not respect hr employees privacy? Why couldn't she have taken the employe to the back or into the office?! Also I had an issue with store 1917 (kerry is the manager there, too) my supervisor mary joy forced me to refreeze cooked product all the time such as bread, muffins, bagels (that meant the logo of always fresh became false advertising) I was told to refreeze or she would call kerry on me and get me in [censored]. Crispy chicken lasts 2 hours after cooked and I did not notice a cooked back up batch until 4 hours later and mary joy made me refreeze it! I went to throw it out and she gave me [censored]! That is disgusting! Mary joy also happened to run out of dome lids one night and she forced a cashier to dig in the garbage to wash and reuse trashed dome lids! She never got a verbal warning, never got written up! She should have been fired thats a major health violation thats disgusting! Kerry told me to keep quiet and not tell anyone what she had done! I think miss kerry kaus and misses mary joy cantouban need to have their employment terminated. They are an insult to the tim hortons name!

Tim Hortons the amount taken on my mastercard

On the 17th July I visited TH in Waterford Ontario. We had done this in a TH nearly every day of our 3'000 km journey. A tea a coffee and a doughnut usually come to less than $10.00. However at this busy TH I was charged by contactless card $30.00. I was not given a receipt but a Medium tea and Coffee plus doughnut doesn't come to a lot. I feel someone is trying to take money from my account.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Beverley Cooper

Tim Hortons service / cleanliness

Visited the Tim Horton's adjacent to the Quality Suites, 754 Bronte Rd., in Oakville, ON. The location was out of a few things, no big deal. My complaint is the staff attitude and cleanliness. My husband had ordered cream cheese with his bagel and because it wasn't punched in correctly at the cash the lady making the bagel refused to put it on the bagel and proceeded to argue about the .75 cost instead of checking with the cashier to see if an over-site. Which it was. She made such an issue that the cashier came over and told her to put it on. Our guest from out of country ordered a yogurt which was forgotten by cashier (it happens). When I asked for the yogurt the cashier gave it to me but without a spoon. My guest and I asked a total of 4 times over approx. 3 min. span. The cashier had actually told her to "wait". For a plastic spoon... like reach under the counter and hand a plastic spoon kind of plastic spoon... It wasn't busy, he was just trying to assert some type dominance.
The final reason for issuing a complaint is the washrooms in this location. They were nasty-dirty. Toilet paper everywhere (seats, floors) floors were sticky and smelled like an outhouse. One of the men in the group said the men's washroom was worse and went back to the hotel to use the washroom. Thankfully I have not had this type of experience in any other Tim Horton's (Can or USA). I'm taking time out of my work schedule to write this as this complaint is definitely warranted.

Tim Hortons food and coffee

25 McKenzie Towne Ave. SE Calgary
Absolutely miserable and rude staff!
Coffee had no taste and when I asked the to change it they snarled at me.

You seem to have a lot of negative review and yet here you are still making money ! Banana Bread dry and again when I mentioned it she (long hair with pony tail ) gave me a hate stare and said they are all like that ! Da! Perhaps you should have fresh stuff that does nto come out of a can.

I would like a gift card for all this miserableness and unprofessionalism you had in this store. The one in Chapparral is the ONLY decent oe you have left where yo do not get snarled at . I took the timeo give you feedback so now reward me or I will take my clients elsewhere.

Tim Hortons no respect

My brother is an excellent customer, he has been to TIM HORTON for the past 20 years. He is legally blind... has a white cane and does pretty well. Yesterday July 22 2018, I gave him a drive to TIM'S location in Beresford New Brunswick... if he had been alone as he usually is, it would have been catastrophic... kids age 12+... had their bikes in front of the entrance... blocking passage for people and in this case specially for my brother (as I mentionned legally blind) and anybody else wanting to get in... I talked to one of the emplyees about this matter... the supervisor was not working that day... she then ask those teenages to put their bicycles elsewhere... when they came out I was deeply insulted by them and telling me that a person legally blind has no right to go to TIM HORTON if he is not with someone else... NOT TRUE... this is the purpose for him to walk with a white cane (CNIB) Canadian Institute for the Blinds)... I was insulted by these tennages and never again will I go to a Tim Hortons... and I will publish my experience in newspapers. I ask for huge signs (parking space for legally blind and handicaps, also a bike rack... well identified. You lost 2 customers and might lost much more... respect is the key word here which we did not had!

Tim Hortons unsanitary hygiene of management and staff members

The store manager working without gloves.. He dipped donuts in chocolate without gloves working on a dirty tabletop then he wiped his nose several times took money from customers then went right back to taking orders... He has worked every area in the restaurant and continues to spread germs throughout to every customer in contact.. This is appalling! He didn't stop there he went to restroom and came out wiping his hands on his pants.. Disgusting! He does not deserve to have this position.. He does not care about the health of customers... We are at risk as long as he is employed!

Tim Hortons they had no food!! no sandwiches, donuts

They had no food! How does this happen? No eggs, no donuts, a few bagels. This is a hospital with alot of visitors as well as employees. The cafe is closed. Absentee owners! How does tim hortons allow this? They leave 2 girls to work and neither know what they are doing. I would be better off leaving the hospital and going down the street to the other tims on maple road.

Tim Hortons cashier behaviour

I have been going here for a while now, the customer service is really bad, there is a counter person named Linda and she just ignores the customers, she will be cleaning the counter, mean while their is a lineup out the door. One Time I came in, she was on a tablet, wouldn't even serve a customer. The poor women on the other cash has to do all the work. While she does nothing. I even saw her give out a lot of free stuff because she missed up a lot of orders. I usually don't complain but I have seen too much from one worker. Their was also another time where she was talking to a customer for about 5-10 min while this customer was waiting for his food. That is so wrong you socialize on your own time not on companies time. I just don't understand why Tim Hortons has workers like that, must be desperate. Anyways I will not be going their anymore. I actually waited about 15 min to be served. That is way too long when their was only 4 people in front of me.

Tim Hortons service

I go to this Tim Hortons every morning it's close to where I work.

It's a clean store but service is not to good due to some employees that are working there are not filling the cups of coffee, one day I had bought a soup and I guess I should check if it's full before I leave the store I get to work the bowl is half empty.
Sometimes I leave and im still missing things from my order .
I showed my co-workers the soup bowl and said look half empty I'm not someone that likes to complain but if I'm paying for it I have a problem with that.
It's happen numerous times not just once and I've talked to some people at the store.
I talk to a manager early this morning and he actually said I lied because I made a complaint about my service
I am the customer and I always pay for my stuff I buy and I do buy a lot.
I also believe if your store is open at 5am your night shift crew maybe should get a pot of coffee ready for your morning shift to open door by 5am but instead we knock on the drive thru window girl open window we say it's 10 after 5Am are you open the girl unlock the store door and says we lost tract of time having a conversation.
I don't except anything more from timmies the only thing I expect is if I buy something I usually would want my money worth.
I would love to not asked someone to fill my cup or soup bowl to the rim.

Tim Hortons health

I had purchased a coffee from Tim Horton's on Riviera Dr and woodbine ave it while drinking coffee I had a bug in my mouth so I spit out and it was a big fly. I show it to the Tim Horton's sell personal and they said sorry we have fly problems in last two days and can't control it. This is unacceptable and certainly not healthy. If there is known problems and uncontrollable then they have to close the store rather than not noticing that they give me a coffee with fly on it. I felt awful and discussed and throwing up since.

Address of the Tim Horton's location:
7690 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON L3R 2N2

Tim Hortons service & food and ready

Everyday my wife and I go to the Tim hortons in Elmira Ontario. It is the only tim hortons in the city. We understand that it is busy. There is no excuse for the service we have had though. My 18 month son loves the strawberry & raspberry filled tim bits. We try to order them every morning and can't because the employees say that they are baked in the afternoon. We have had this problem everyday for about since we moved near elmira and have to go to this location. My son is very upset when we go through the drive thru because he expects those tim bits that he loves. He doesn't like any other flavour. So after many times of this happening. I have video recorded our experience in the drive thru. As well last night I drove 10kms to him hortons to pick up a salted caramel ice cap. They charged me for it and gave me a regular ice cap. I have the receipt and picture with a normal ice cap. A long with the time. We live too far away to go there and back. If I had the money, I would happily own and run a Tim hortons store properly. I have all of these on video and picture. Can somebody please inform me where to send them to. We have since stopped going to this tim hortons. I bought a coffee maker at home with President choice coffee. Tastes great and cheaper too. Fast food is not fast food anymore. Also not convenient for the customer. So in my opinion there is no reason to go to these places anymore. Things have changed in the service industry over the last few years. I don't understand why it's so hard to make tim bits in the morning and serve what people are ordering. I used to run a restaurant. Customer is right and there are no excuses. At least this is how it was 10-15 years ago. I don't like the attitudes, service or excuses.

Tim Hortons service

This morning I received the most incredible bad service at one of your restaurants in Canada in Cochran Alberta your fireside store, your attendance did not like the way I ordered and proceeded to lecture me on how I should order this is unacceptable customer service and if you cannot train your people to better serve your customers then I think this restaurant should be closed I go there too and sometimes three times a day this way of serving me was totally unacceptable. Your employees need more training unfortunately for me it is too late because I will never go back to that restaurant

Tim Hortons customer service / the way I was treated

Hello,

Today at approximately 8:05am I entered your Tim Horton's located on Delaware Avenue and Allen Street in Buffalo, N.Y.
Address: 537 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14202

I went in on this visit because I normally do the drive thru... But I was late for work (start 8am pull in 8:03am) seen no one in the parking lot... So I thought hmmmm it would be faster to park and go in! And still be under my 10 minute leeway!

WRONG!

I ordered some donuts... a large coffee... and a bagel.

Received my coffee and doughnuts right away... 5 minutes go by I am getting a little frustrated. I ask... can I have my bagel. I then was asked to repeat my order. Still waited now it is 8:13am... So I say to the girl who was in the expeditor position making the coffee for dining room (I believe her name was Zara or Zaria she had glasses and had long black hair, African American, in her 20"s) can I just have a bagel and butter and I will do it at work. I really have to go.

She literally mocked me in front of me with no regard... She clapped her hands to her coworkers and said "OMG she has been waiting over 5 minutes for her bagel and she says she needs to goooooo"! Then proceeds to act rude. I mean yes it was the 2nd time I asked for my bagel and but it is now 8:13am and I was the only one in line and I ordered my bagel almost 10 minutes prior!

Now at first I felt like I could not believe what was happening. Then she tells me don't you know drive thru takes priority over the dining room!

WHAT!

I said there has been about 16 cars that came and gone and I am still standing here. And I have been patient even though I am getting later and later for work.

Needless to say I got my bagel after all this. But never again will I patronize this Tim Horton's. The way I was treated was mind blowing. The rudeness because I was wrong for being upset to have to wait 10 minutes for a toasted bagel with butter? Ok then!

As a active community activist and a committee member for our local group "We R Buffalo Strong". I am very disappointed that your mission and values of your company were not followed through with this establishment today.

It is a shame! I just really feel like your companies customer service skills were lacking in this situation. I understand drive thru may be a priority but why is there not someone on for dining room?

Sincerely,
Renee Taneff

Tim Hortons management practices

I went to the Tim Hortons on Far Hills in Dayton Ohio around 11 am on my lunch break two weeks ago. What I saw was honestly strange, but I didn't think anything of it. The RGM named Gabe who was very snarky from the get go (which I just brushed off because maybe he was having a bad day or whatever) but I saw him do something that I'm not sure is okay, but it hasn't sat well with me. After serving me, he proceeded to open up the children donation jars with his key and take money out of them and PUT THE MONEY IN HIS CASH REGISTERS! As someone who donated my very own change in there it shocked me. My wife saw it and said something to him about it, and all he said was he was keeping the money safe in there! My wife and I didn't buy it one but. I don't know if he stole money and used the donations to cover it up or what but it's very wrong and I will not be back at this location anymore! Gabe is a crook! The store number on my receipt was 10860 I believe...

Tim Hortons service

I am very disappointed with the lack of service that I received at your Beausejour location I waited for a significant amount of time for some one to take my order. Everyone seemed to be busy except one lady (I believe her name was Stella) she was asked to take my order but walked away. Then another lady put down what she was doing and took my order as Stella watched over her shoulder and followed her as the other girl made my ice coffee, then I had to wait some more for my wrap and the store was almost empty. My wrap was barely grilled. Actually cold. Stella also did not have a hat like the others that were working.

Tim Hortons lack of recycling

It's very upsetting that Tim Horton's doesn't recycle anything except what they can get a refund from.
With a chain as huge as Tim Horton's, and the sheer volume of product that is sold there that's recyclable, and that everyone else is encouraged to recycle, and does, even Starbucks, to keep unnecessary garbage from going into our landfills.
WHY does Tim Horton's seem to think they should not be accountable to do the same ?
I myself, and my husband, have bought reusable cups that we take each time.
Frustrated and disappointed
Debbie

Tim Hortons employee discriminated customer

I was at the Tim Hortons in Prince George BC located at 880 Victoria St yesterday afternoon Saturday July 14th 2018, where I saw an employee discriminate a new mother breastfeeding her baby. This customer was publically discriminated by this employee named Elizabeth. This woman should not work in customer service as her attitude is disgusting!
The new mother was sitting at a booth with her back turned to the serving counter; she had her baby under a blanket feeding. Which no one in the restaurant had an issue with, including myself ( or I assumed anyways ) Elizabeth at the 880 Victoria st location in Prince George Bc Canada, yelled at this young mother whom was also a paying customer from the serving counter over the entire restaurant ( employees and customers ) " YOUR NOT ALLOWED do that in HERE!" This poor customer is a new mother with a two month old baby, who's only source of food is breast milk. They come to your establishment because it's a family restaurant.. am I right ? This is why all us customers go there. But yesterday did not feel family oriented at all. Elizabeth discriminates not only the co workers she works with, but the customers as well. Yesterday was the most disgusting display of customer service I've ever seen and I have worked in customer service for 20 years; I now work for the government of Canada. I was a regular at this location for 10 years, and now I refuse to go back to this location until this Elizabeth employee is fired for discriminating paying customers whom are also human beings. The management at this location is very poor as Elizabeth didn't get any punishment what so ever from the store manager, and if this were my location, and my employee doing public discrimination to customers or other employees she would be fired. This is bad for your business and can result in a lawsuit if this young mother were to step forward and take legal action.

Another incident on gay pride day at this same location with the same employee Elizabeth, I was in the restaurant waiting in line behind a gentleman whom was clearly homosexual, and celebrating his pride (as he should!) . He was dressed up for the parade and in high heels waiting to order a drink and a food item, Elizabeth at this location gave this man the worst looks I've ever seen, she refused to serve this man because of how he was dressed and his obvious sexual orientation, this made the gentleman very uncomfortable and he got quite upset. Nothing was done by management for this incident either. Another staff employee happily served this gentleman with excellent customer service skills as Elizabeth stood back and stared at him making awful faces at him.

These are not the types of people you need working for such a proud accepting family establishment. She has a very obtuse and discriminatory behaviour towards multiple customers and other employees. And the one about the newborn mother gets to me a great deal.. this mother should not be treated like this from this store locations employees and the management at this location needs to take things like this far more seriously. I reported the incident from gay pride day, but I see nothing was done about it as she had to audacity to do what she did yesterday afternoon. I would like my complaint to go to a corporate representative whom will deal with this matter and employee accordingly, as she should not get away with such behaviour.

Tim Hortons muffins

I just moved to Thompson, Manitoba: for the past 4 days I have been trying to buy my beloved Rasin Bran muffins (I buy 1/2 or 1 dozens). Every visit there is none. I thought if they are always sold out, should that not raise a flag to increase the stock? I asked the cashier when is the best time of day to come in and purchase, he/she have no idea. What gets me really mad in going in the drive through and told there is none. I try calling sometimes but no one answers. Tim Horton is my all time favourite coffee store, with best muffins, moving here seems to have the worst franchise!
