wax bags
I purchase Tim Hortons drinks and food very often and I just got an order wrong yesterday, ( large Hot Chocolate in place of French Vanilla Cappuchino) but that isn't bothering me too much as your wax like paper bags that my food order of 2 for $4 are given to me in. I would greatly appreciate if this was read by someone of power or influence and would be interested in making a change for degradeable/compostable paper bags. Everyone in my family recycles, gardens(place and compostables) and or reuse things we are able to. This would be great not just for my family, but also for the world, potentially.
flavourless food
hello
Today I went to the Tim Hortons at Argentia and Winston Churchill (gas station) and ordered an English Muffin with bacon and egg. It was not tasty at all, I make better at home.
I paid $ 7.10 for a breakfast meal that all I enjoyed was my Iced Coffee that was delicious.
Not good, waste of my money.
My email address is rita.[protected]@rogers.com if you want to reply.
drunk employee and no manager around
I am sorry I have tried to fill out guest survey online and for some reason it won't pull up. Are you aware there is a worker drunk at your Greenville MI location almost daily? And that the manager leaves the employees there alone? So when someone comes in and needs a discount or a refund they are not able as they don't have access to that kind of stuff?
service
5 weeks ago i went to get my usual coffee at my usual Tim Horton's on Amirault street in Dieppe, NB. On that particular morning the lid on my coffee was not put on tightly. So when i took off into the morning rush traffic i went to take a drink of my coffee. Because the lid was not put on tightly the coffee cup collapsed into my hand therefor pouring hot coffee all over myself and then causing me to hit the car in front of me. My van had damage to the front bumber in which i had replaced. There was coffee ejected everywhere in my van from my cup. I called the Tim Horton's that was at fault and they put me in contact with their head office/complaint department. The next day a lady from head office contact me and offered to have the interior of my van cleaned at their expense, in which i had done immefiatly. I called the following day, on tje friday to see if something more could be done to help me but that same lady was not there and on vacation, so i left her a message. The following monday i called and spoke with a gentleman and he was not willing to be helpfull. Now my lawyer asked me to give you one last chance to help me with paying the damages on my vehicle that was clearly caused by poor and negligent service from your staff. All that i ask is that you pay my $500 deduclible for the repairs done on my vehicle, which i think is a more that resonable request considering the situation. Thanks

metal hair pin in my tea!
To whom this may concern,
My name is Latice Chambers. Today I went to my local Tim Horton's to get my usual hot tea before work around 7:30 am. I didn't get the opportunity to drink it right away due to being at work. When I had a chance I re heated my tea. I drank a bit of my tea and noticed an unpleasant taste and shortly after started to feel nauseous. I then went to pour my tea out and noticed there was a metal hair pin in my tea. This situation is hazardous and unsanitary and just not safe on so many levels.
concerns with management
I am coming to corporate with a concern about the assistant manager at the Tim Horton's store 3316 Lakeshore Rd West, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1M9. Over my time of employment with Tim hortons, I have witnessed and been victim to multiple forms and events of bullying and unprofessionalism by the assistant manager Julie. These events include but are not limited to;
breach of trust, respect, as well as confidentiallity. It has come to my concern that she has and continues to have a group message including a few of the other staff members where she feels comfortable talking about the performance of the work being done in the store as well as letting those other workers know when she will be 'in the mood' to write up employees for work that needs to be corrected.
As an employee, I should not feel that I am going to a work place that supports bullying and having confident matters broken and this matter should no longer be taken lightly.
Employees deserve respect and to feel safe and comfortable in the work place, and at this time myself, and many other employees do not feel this way. Unfortunately because of the relationship between both the manger and assistant manager I myself and many other employees do not feel comfortable in talking to the store manager about this issue as well as many issues in general.
I would like to discuss this further, and would like a resolution to this to be found ASAP OR on behalf of myself and the other employees we would like actions taken so that we can gain the trust and support back of the people that we are supposed to look up to and come to when issues occurs like these ones.
Sincerely
Employee at Tim Horton's store 3316 Lakeshore Rd West, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1M9
training
My local Tim Hortons is awful. They don't know how to train new employees properly. It's really ghetto and unorganized. Everything in the back was so unorganized that It took me a while just to find some small/medium lids. As a person being trained, I had to run the store while two other employees went out somewhere. I didn't even know how to make some of the coffee, food, or run most of the cash register. Some customers I served was appalled when they found out it was just a trainee running the store and one even called head office. They would tell me that I was going too slow when I was going as fast as I could. If you want me to [censored] up a coffee, then keep telling me to hurry up. Nobody would don't want to wear the headset. I guess only two was working because that's all I saw. I should have listened to the reviews and chose something else for my first job.
guy working the window
This is a young man, his nails are about half inch long and dirty. This is disgusting and disturbing that you can let someone work with food and he obviously does not maintain his hygiene. I cant return to that store because it is gross.
Also this is the store @ 40 e square lake rd in Bloomfield hills Michigan. Please add a caution sign when leaving the drive in as someone walking inside will get hurt.

Store ID:40NTHS25 - Innisfil Travel Plaza on Southbound HWY 400
The store seemed to be understaffed as we waited in line for over 20 minutes with only 12 people in front of us.
The cashiers would take an order and then fill it before taking the next person's order. When customers ordered full meals, the cashier was away from the cash register for over 3 minutes at time! Many people in line left as the line was not moving at all at times and very slowly at the best of times.
I know there is not much that can be done now but we know that we would not stop at this Travel Plaza for Tim Horton's again.
Thank you . . . Dave Baker
government of canada rounding guideline
GST/HST Info Sheet GI-131
As pennies are gradually withdrawn from circulation, price rounding on cash transactions will be required. This will have no impact on cheque payments or electronic payments, such as credit and debit cards, only cash transactions will be affected.
Where pennies are not available, cash transactions will need to be rounded to the nearest five-cent increment in a fair and transparent manner.
The Government of Canada will be adopting the following rounding guideline for its cash transactions with the Canadian public. It is expected that businesses will apply this rounding guideline in a fair and transparent manner.
Tim Horton in the Vancouver Area is rounding up every amount and every transaction, thus violating guidelines set by the Government of Canada.
service and cleanliness of restaurant
The afternoon of Oct. 11th we stopped at the Tim Hortons at 1729 Mountain Ave, Canmore, Alberta. There were at least 6 employees present of which none appeared to be serving customers. They finally served the gentleman in front of us and gave him a large coffee without cream when he had ordered it with cream. We waited another two or three minutes when we were finally served. We ordered two black coffees, one muffin, one doughnut and hockey cards. One coffee was served with cream and I was charged $2 each for the hockey cards. When I inquired about the price of the cards I was told they were $1 with the order of a meal yet the sign in front of the till said they were $1 with the purchase of a beverage. I was given the $2 refund. The biggest concern with the restaurant was the cleanliness. The garbage cans were overflowing onto the floor. When we left we had to go to the Wendy's portion of the restaurant to find a garbage can to deposit our cups. I used the ladies room and the same thing, garbage (diapers, etc.) hanging out of a full garbage can. The manager of this restaurant should be notified. I tried doing the customer survey for this location but could not get the site to work.
my french vanilla
I ordered a small French vanilla from Tim Hortons at the queendsale location in Ottawa. Got home and it was half empty. I can send a photo if need be. I ordered a small and literally am getting 3 sips out of it. I'm not happy at all .. the person making this should look down at what they're doing and focus on their task at hand. There's a lot of chit chat going on in that restaurant rather than actual work being done. Thanks !
drive-thru service
At the drive-thru window, when handed my change from a $5 bill, it was dropped on the ground and I was not offered any reimbursement. I was unable to get out of my vehicle to collect the change either. It's very frustrating. I believe I should have been giving my change as it was not directly handed to me in my hand. It was dropped on the pavement.
potato wedges
I and my cousins was on drive thru evening 7.57 pm
There was hair in the cup and when I drved back to complaint but they not even offer replaced wedges
And none offered credit
When i asked for that they said no
And also i asked to complaint in head office
They said yes to do so without any a single sorry word
That was really rude.
Even though they was out off full dress without name tag
Shameless
Really shameless

lack of products and hygiene
GOOD AFTERNOON,
Yesterday Oct.13 I was visiting one of you location in Toronto Address: 246 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M5S 1V4 with my friend.
I thought it will be a pleasant experience, but it turned out to be o horrible one.
First of all they were of everything, barely a doughnut here and there, spilled coffee on the floor, nobody attend it to clean, and the washrooms are in a state, that makes me puke and I don't how know this location is still open.
Definitely the Ministry of Health and Safety should pay you a visit.
Please contact me,
Michelle

service - drive through
We attended the Tim Hortons located 6400 Hwy 400 S - located in the On Route Innisfil. When we pulled in there were approximately 4 cars that had already ordered and five cars ahead of us - we figured it wouldn't be that long as we were on route to a viewing for a passed love one. The car in front of us actually backed up and left - we pulled up - but were then trapped by curbs on either side - so then ordered - 25 minutes later we arrived at the window. We ordered 2 regular coffees, bagel with cream cheese and a sausage, egg and cheese on a cheese bagel - as we checked there was no sausage- and my husband had to knock to get them to change it - it came on a 12 grain bagel - our coffee was not made properly and we weren't given napkins - when my husband tried to ask what the problem was - training or short staffed - he slammed he window shut - so guess no napkins were coming at which point we just had to get moving as we were already going to late getting to the funeral home. Usually a min or two per car and if I am kept waiting I am usually greeting with a smile and an apology for the wait - goes a long way - and usually a quality check to ensure everything is right - some people had one drink and that usually takes 30 seconds - I can understand being busy - but not incompetent and unfriendly- left a sour taste in my mouth - they couldn't care less if we got what I paid for.

unethical behaviour
This complaint is in regard to the recent Sidney Crosby Commercial. I cannot believe I am the only person who is disgusted with this commercial. From an early age, we were taught to say, "please and thank you". Having just retired from being a school secretary for 30 years, I have seen the lack of these manners in many a student. Now, we have to look at and hear from a hockey icon; one who our kids look up to and admire, go to a Tim's drive-thru and demand hockey cards; no please, thank you, etc. etc. I find this most rude and disrespectful to the server; not to mention what message he is sending to millions of kids who love him. What; no manners? Shame on Sidney and shame on Tim Horton's for airing. I would love to see this commercial removed or edited to incorporate basic manners.

customer service
I usually go to the Tim Horton's located across the street from the one I attended today. The five times I have attended this location instead of my regular one now the last three weeks, twice they did not have bagels available yet at 615am, twice their ice cap machine had not been turned on yet at 615am and today October 13, 2018, they had no croissants.
The last month every morning on my way to work I attend the Tim horton's across the street where they make me a cheddar croissant with just Turkey on it. The staff are friendly and quick to help or offer another service if one is not available.
very slow wait time to order
Dear who ever this may concern,
I couldn't be more disappointed in the time it takes to order a coffee at Tim Hortons. The system in place does not work. There should be cashiers and servers.. Not cashiers/servers. This makes wait times a lot longer and less efficient.
I almost missed my bus today and would have been late for work had I waited a minute longer . The time for the bus arrival was 15 minutes.. I waited a total of 14 minutes before I said this is enough or i will be late. There were only 4 people in front of me and therefore should not have taken much time just to get a coffee.
Very unfair to the customer and this is a problem throughout many Tim Horton's. There needs to be change or you will have formal complaints at stores you will have to answer to.
Mcdonalds isnt even this long for a coffee..
