Tim Hortons service

Just went thru the drive thru in airdrie an just off Yankee valley. Ordered or tried to order m3d ice cap with a espresso shot, med ice cap with choco milk and 20 pk of timbits -no choco cake. People that are not good with the English language seem to always be on the speaker at Tim hortons most always when I go thru. Why that's even allowed is beyond me, you just don't get that at mcdonalds, most anywhere. They guy asked twice on the speaker what we were asking for, finally gets us thru and asked at the window 2 more times, the runner girl grabbed the timbit box and we noticed he wasn't explaining the no choco cake timbits and my daughter who was driving asked if they understood and for the 5th time had to repeat no chocolate timbits please. How hard is it to simply order just a couple things. It's should be be that hard to order. It's frustrating as hell. It should be a mandatory rule if your not good with English language you can't be on the speaker, let alone a window. Still amazes me Canada just lets these people into our country yet they can't speak our language properly

I suggest that before you go on poking fun of other people or not being able to speak English you should work on your own English. You have numerous spelling, grammar and punctuation errors in your review. You have run on sentences. Let me dissect your post and correct your own English mistakes.

Here is your post

Just went thru the drive thru in airdrie (The I in Airdrie should begin with a capital letter.

an just off Yankee(The V in Valley should be in a capital letter) valley.

Ordered or tried to order m3d ice cap with a espresso shot, med ice cap with choco milk and 20 pk of timbits -no choco cake.(should have used a comma before ordered, and tried to order)

People that are not good with the English language seem to always be on the speaker at Tim hortons most always when I go thru.

(The word that should be replaced with the word who) (the word thru should be replaced with the word through)
Why that's even allowed is beyond me, you just don't get that at mcdonalds, most anywhere. (Mcdonalds should begin with a capital letter.

They guy asked twice on the speaker what we were asking for, finally gets us thru and asked at the window 2 more times,
(No need to continue the sentence after this. Just use a period. This is called a run on sentence)

the runner girl grabbed the timbit box and we noticed he wasn't explaining the no choco cake timbits and my daughter who was driving asked if they understood and for the 5th time had to repeat no chocolate timbits please.
(The runner should be a new sentence, and therefore should begin with a capital letter.) (The employee should be referred to as lady, not a girl since she is over 18.)

How hard is it to simply order just a couple things.
(This is a question not a statement and therefore should end with a question mark not a period.

. It's should be be that hard to order.
(it's should be it) (Should, should be should not)

t's frustrating as hell. It should be a mandatory rule if your not good with English language you can't be on the speaker, let alone a window.

Still amazes me Canada just lets these people into our country yet they can't speak our language properly.
(You did not end your last sentence with a period.

Since your own English is just as poor, if not poorer, maybe it is YOU who should not have been allowed in Canada.

Here are a few suggestions.

The reason that the people cannot understand English is because what you think is English is not proper English. Learn how to speak proper English yourself before judging. Chances are they do know English, but cannot understand you because it is you who is not fluent in English.

If you own English skills are so poor that it looks like this was posted by a nine year old child, don't call grown women girls.

Leave Canada, because clearly as someone who cannot speak English should not live there by your own standards. Also stay the hell out of USA as well, we have our own non English speaking people as well. People like you.

Tim Hortons pumpkin spice latte & customer service

I submitted a complaint but have not heard back as yet so here I am submitting my complaint again and hopefully will hear back this time. I was in your store at Hwy 9 & Airport Rd Thanks giving weekend in October and the Pumpkin spiced latte I purchased tasted burnt. Was not a pleasant taste. Then 2 weeks later I was at the Tim Hortons drive through at Airport Rd and Mayfield Rd and ordered 2 pumpkins spiced lattes and was told to wait in the parking lot. There were no parking spaces to be had and ended up blocking several customers with my car. I waited 7 minutes to receive 2 lattes. This is totally unacceptable! I believe customer service and products have deteriorated at Timmies and to tell you the truth I believe I will be switching to McDonalds as service is much better there.

Tim Hortons roach infestation

I came into Tim Hortons store 4219 approximately about 3weeks ago I came for coffee and donuts as I am looking into the display case I observed a roach crawling into the donuts I then told the manager by the name of Monica that there was a roach crawling on the donuts she the proceeded to move the display case around to capture the bug now upon knowing that the roach was crawling in donuts I noticed a team member in the drive thru serving some donuts out the window the manager Monica did not stop the order she did not throw any of the donuts away. I said pest control needed to be called so i stopped coming to the store for about a couple weeks but when I showed up on November 11th for coffee I noticed a roach in lobby area something needs to be done about this I will not be returning the store is located on french rd and Gratiot

Tim Hortons rip off

Generally I purchase my tins of Tim Hortons Original Ground Coffee and my grocery store for $17.98, however, I thought perhaps since this is your product I would be less expensive. On November 5, 2018 I entered my local coffee shop and inquired as to the cost. I was told is was $19.99. I asked the clerk why it was that Tim Horton inflates the price being their product and told her what I always pay. I was told "We don't control the price" I was surprised with that response. If Tim Hortons doesn't control the price who does? This is a rip off for sure.
I have since returned to my grocery store to purchase and now see that you are not including the small plastic measuring spoon. So that's gone so you cost is reduced for but for the customer.
I would appreciate a response to my complaints.
Regards,

D. O'Brien

Tim Hortons food quality

Hello,

I just have a general comment about the food quality of all Tim Horton's locations. It seems as if the quality in providing food to customers has gone downhill.

If you order a bagel toasted it is barely warm (not quite toasted) if you order it double toasted it is burnt. I believe turning down the speed of the toaster will actually make toast. I would rather wait a few more seconds to have it properly done then try to rush everyone out that the quality suffers.

I also ordered a garden salad today which consisted of some (not much) lettuce and 3 tomatoes. That was all that was on it and that is not a salad. If the salad can not be made with actual vegetables (tomato, cucumber, onion, shredded carrots or something like that) then I would suggest removing it from the menu.

These are general inquiries that have been bothering me for a while now and thought that maybe this could be taken into consideration for changes in the near future.

Thank you,
Tara

Tim Hortons invoices and cash return from purchases

Hello, I am a heavy fast food consumer and I know all the chains and only at Tim Hortons I have problem with the money issue. If you want I can supply a copy of the invoice where I decided that it is enough.

Quite few times it happen to me that if I pay with a 20$ bill they return change on a 10$ bill and it only happen at Tim's.

Most of the time when you order at the drive through I would say like 95% of the time the screen where you order doesn't show the total of your purchase.
Then when you pick up your order they never give you any invoice.

I think this never happen at McDonald's because the employees are forced to punch in the register the amount of the bill received, the change is then always shown on the cashier screen facing the customer.

On nov 11 i had a drive through experience when the clerk added 2$ on the total purchase. I thought it was quite expensive for what I ordered so i asked him please give me a copy of the invoice where he gave me an invoice and i left. After all i looked at the invoice and it was 5.38 and the clerk told me 7.38 wich i paid.

Another time to a different location still at the drive through i thought my order was less then the money asked and when i asked for the invoice she took for ever to get back at the window and say I'm sorry my cash registered is running out of paper...

I start to wounded if this is expending to different location if their not people talking about it and bringing a little extra to their salary...

Also on your cooking policies i had the best breakfast on Tims Curée Poirier in Longueuil cause the bagel was grilled into the panini grilled machine. I told her it was the best ever and she answered this is the procedure we are suppose to do. After I knew that i order the same bagel breakfast at Time Corner Dickson and Notre-Dame in Montreal.

The clerk did not do the panini machine, since i was ordering inside I asked her would you mind to grill it in the panini machine and she answered sure so she top the lid of the panini machine bring it down and up and did it without giving time to grill...

Beleive me, try the bagel not being grilled this is cold chewy and totally not good. I have left Tims towards Mc Donald since few months and beleive me Tim' s should learn from my comments on this complaint and I am open to also answered your questions this business to me is losing days after days

Tim Hortons employee adrian nutt

I went to work this morning and two employees took 30 min to empty the outside lots leaving me alone inside. Upon them reentering a third employees begain to yell at me and tell me noone likes me or wants me there. I just said ok ty .ok ty .and then i told my supervisor tabatha at the time that that i was using my right to file a harassment claim. She and tammy then proceeded to yell at me and tell me that noone like me and that noone wants me there and that all her Ezekiel and tammy agree that noone likes me. This is not the first time tabatha has said thos to me. I then proceeded to fill out forms on all three .slipped them under the office door where adrian reviewed them spoke to tammy then me .he listened to what i had to say and then told me to clock out and go home .which is retaliation. After clocking out i asked him for a form to fill out on him for retaliation and he failed to produce one .telling me to come back later. It is my right to complain about being harassed and about retaliation with out fear of being sent home and suffering loss wages. What he did violates my rights . i will go back later to see if he supplies me with a form and if not i will contact my local dept of labor in this matter for loss wages caused by retaliation. I am a hard worker and feel its unfair that others keep trying to make me quit by telling me im unwanted and by retaliation.

I am not sure if my last complaint I just made several minutes ago went through. To keep it brief. On nov 13th 2018 gina kron asked me to go to my store and speak with her. She then disiplined me verbally while I was not on the clock. There was no other team member present and she recorded the conversation on her own personal phone. Which can later be edited. With out the presence os another team member it will be my word against hers. This is in full violation of my emploee rights. And any recording in this matter should be considered irrelevant as to improper chain of evidence. I am not sure if I need to contact the dept of labor or a lawyer in this matter to ensure my job safety. Displine is to be done when the employee is on the clock and this took place around 345pm. My original shift she spke about paying me for ended at 1. If she adjusted the time beyond that frame it was never discussed and I have my 7 shifts to prove so. But being she recorded it makes it hard for me to protect myself if she edited it to ommit crucial parts of the conversation. I am very upset by this matter.

Tim Hortons drive through and management

I went through the drive through at the S. Main Jamestown ny first issue was the girl taking the order wasn't entering what I was ordering but entering things I never even asked for then she thought she had it right asked me if I wanted hash browns with my meal I told her yes and told me my total was 12 something which I knew was wrong and I questioned her she told me just pull forward and they will figure it out I get to the window they then tell me my total is $11.31 I still questioned it another girl gets huffy and puffy reads back my order and tells me it's right your all set I gave my card and paid they gave me my food I went to look in the bag the girl tells me again your all set I need you to pull out at this point I don't even know if what I order was even there I get home wanted to reveiw the receipt but they never gave me one there were no hash browns which were offered and ordered with my meal instead there was a cup of potato wedges which I did not order I called to speak to a manager and instead of the manager listening to the issue she kept talking over me and arguing with me instead of trying to find out why I was calling I can't believe someone who is in a management position would do that and argue with the customer instead of trying to find out what was wrong

Tim Hortons Service/wait times

I have noticed that at most tim's locations the staff have started to take a couple of cars at the drive thru then they serve them and take another couple serve them etc. Problem is you wait at the drive thru forever... The other morning I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru line up then I got pissed and went into the store and waited another 10 minutes there. Also when I ask for my sandwich to be double toasted it never happens... Soooooo sick of this... Think I will be going to a&w from now on they serve your food the way you want it without a long wait time. Tim hortons has gotten pathetic... Your gonna lose customers cuz this is bs! How about not being so damn cheap and hire more staff!
Very unhappy customer

Tim Hortons oatmeal, dirty, manager swearing

I go to the Tim Hortons almost everyday and every other day they don't have oatmeal. Yesterday they told they didn't even make any. Why not? It's on the menu. So frustrating. Then I see 3-4 people standing around doing nothing talking about their personal lives. I have an idea, make some oatmeal. What's next, we didn't make any coffee today? The store manager is dropping f-bombs while talking also. What is that? Also, the tables are ALWAYS FILTHY! It's the store at 6980 Peach St Erie, Pa. So unprofessional. I doubt this complaint will matter, but there it is. Thank u

Tim Hortons the 20 pack timbit box

Hi there. I'm a lifelong Tim Horton's customer. I was surprised to see so much sexual innuendo on a box of Timbits that I bought recently. The longer side surface seems to depict a timbit rushing in on another in what looks like a sexual act. The far left of the same side has a timbit with another siting on it's face. And when you go to the smaller box side you find a timbit with a paint brush placed where a penis would be. And to further incite the whole sexual innuendo theme he has the face of another timbit basically eating his [censored]. No other way to say it. That's what it looks like. If a play on subliminal sex was the goal then the advertising department nailed it. But wow, you guys are Tim Hortons. You sponsor Timbit soccer of which my children were a part of. If it was a coincidence then it should be pulled. And if it was intentional then it's kind of shameful, to be honest.

Tim Hortons poorly ran store, rude employees

The graveyard staff at this location are very rude, ignore customers, play loud indian music and do not correct wrong orders. They do not clean what so ever. It is left for the morning staff. They do not keep hand soap and toilet paper in the washrooms and refuse to give you napkins. There is a security guard who sits behind the counter playing on a tablet.

I was at the Hortons at Casablanca near Grimsby on oct 25th. I saw a fly stuck on a white glazed donut so I brought it up to the clerk that I didn't want to make a seen and I said it very quietly "there is a fly on a white donut in the shelf and he didn't seem concerned about it and told me not to worry about it. I don't know about you but flies do carry diseases. I am not going to buy anymore donuts or stuff like that are in the counter. I was so disgusted that he never took any action to get rid of that donut. heaven knows how many other people saw that same donut that I saw

Tim Hortons bad service

This establishment is serving meals off the menu.
I have been a supporter since opening day.
All I want is to be treated equally.
The business is in Pincher Creek AB I don't understand how employees are allowed to sell what they want to whom they want the server is Ernest and because he is a manager
He seems to do as he pleases, I don't think it's fair all I want t is to be treated like everyone
I have a lot of respect for Tim Horton and I am disappointed it's a small town mentality where the word of mouth spreads like wildfires.

Tim Hortons this store is a target for pickpockets during the noon hour lunch, rush in downtown st. paul mn

Today, october 31, 2018 I was standing in line at tim hortons, downtown st. Paul, mn. As I stood there, a rather large, black man rushed up to me crinkling a newspaper to distract me and asked me what I paid for my phone. While he did all this, his intent was to distract me by looking up at him (I am a petite woman). As he did this, he reached into my purse and actually had my wallet in his hand.in a second, I put my hand in my purse and felt my wallet gone and then saw he had it in his hand. I took it back from him and called him a "[censored]ing worthless piece of [censored]." yes, I did! And rightly so! I would have liked to say more, but I used what little restraint I had to spew forth those few words. I was so shaken that I left the store immediately. One thing that stood out to me was the fact at least one black girl working behind the counter must have seen and heard the ruckus... She and other employees did nothing! They never attempted to help me nor did they tell me that they'd help by calling the police. After this, I thought those girls must have seen this guy in there before and if that's the case, who knows. That is hard to prove but if I thought of it, you can be sure others in the restaurant thought the same thing. If they recognized him, why didn't they tell him to get out? My impression is that he'd been casing the place and realized it was an easy mark. He was clearly some homeless jerk looking for his next victim but it was not going to be me. No thanks to your staff! How about you train your staff to be on the lookout for this type of thing and what to do if it happens. St. Paul is full of homeless folks just looking for trouble and i, for one, am sick and tired of being possibly rolled, panhandled and more. This was a robbery perpetrated upon my person, in your store and the feeling of helplessness was overwhelming... Even as I write this, I am fuming! I await your reply. Do you have cameras in this restaurant? If so, I would like to see footage, so that law enforcement can be alerted. If not, then you will be losing a lot of business because this woman will let everyone know, it's not a safe place for women! I am very serious about this and need to hear from your corporate headquarters.

Tim Hortons service

I'm not a huge Tim Horton's fan. I don't like the coffee and the donuts are no longer donuts, but rather a baked-from-frozen "food" product. But... once in a while I go there out of convenience and for the past few years, I have experienced terrible service. All over the Ottawa region I have seen up to a dozen people standing behind the counter and doing almost nothing whilst people are sometimes lined up to the door for a long time.

Now, I worked for Tim Hortons' many years ago, back when donuts were donuts and servers took care of the customer. We had one big rule: never let customers wait. If I was in the back baking and a line-up formed, I went out to serve the customers, make coffee, run the dishwasher and clear tables. There were two staff in the front and one in the back icing donuts, making soup, etc. We even had real dishes back then that had to be cleared, washed, put away. Yet, we still managed to keep a clean restaurant, know what our customers wanted personally and cleared the line fast.

Now you have people assigned to their workstations where you will have three people doing nothing while they wait for someone to go to the drive through; a person stocking cup lids; one person making sandwiches; one person at the cash; two people having a chat in the back. I asked a guy to get me a packet of pepper: "no I can't do that." Seriously? You can't reach outside your job description to hand me pepper? It took three staff to get me pepper.

It is anything but efficient, anything but polite as I watched a woman yesterday playing with her nails and leaning against the counter while the store was lined up out the door. Not her job, apparently, to get an in-store customer some coffee... Coffee shop meets fast food service model: not working.

Tim Hortons tim hortons loyalty card that gives you a discount if you purchase coffee regularly

Good Morning:
I received a Tim Hortons Loyality Card in Gananoque a few months ago, as l am a daily customer and appreciate the discount that this card gives you towards your purchases.

Monday Oct. 29th l was informed that this card will be no longer offered as of November 5th 2018.

How fair is this to start a promotion and then to cancel it on the customers this will leave a bad taste in the mouths of people from a small town (5200) and might see them start to go across the street to McDonalds were the coffee is cheaper and just as good.

Personally l havent made up my mind but a truly considering doing this and each day l spend rougly 4.00 so adding that up it is a considerable amount of money over a year.

Hopefully you will seriously consider rethinking this decision.

Tim Hortons not stocking menu items

I work across Canada and frequent Tim Hortons locations in my travels. I work nights and rely on Tim Hortons for what i would call lunch etc. I have seen a steady decline in menu items stocked and readily available since Tims have changed hands. I have politely left the last few locations this week that had next to no stock. Im sorry sir we dont have that and we dont have that either. Epic fail Tim Hortons. You have lost my bussiness.

Tim Hortons management

I work for gina kron who although i work 3 locations only pays me from one, under her management alot of people are harrased .she has taped video survaliance at all locations.she claims she owns the company.all coplaints are reffered to her. She hires family members .as informants.alot of equipment is broke. Water leaks are in dunkirk. Customers are rudely addressed. They allow retailiation. As to i was moved to another location due to a girl yelling at me .noone is held up to thier job standard .some locations due senior discount only if they ask others do veteran id with no id .others are told senior dicount by looks. Store transfers are done by managers with out any actual computer transfers .not all locations that have china have all thats needed .lacking cups sizes or china bowels .now sleeves are kept behind the counter due to a customer taking more then one.name tags are not always worn.shirts are often untucked and no belt .i had got scabbies from a nursing home and she told me to just come back to work and not shake peoples hands or wear gloves .she never informed other employees .she removed the safe place signs at locations and says she doesnt participate but according to google she is still a location. She states that its her company and she can do what she pleases. She hires alot of minors to work 2nd shift in dk and many of the other employees for that location are working at other locations.which neg effects dunkirks sales .major mess ups are sent to dunkirk and taken off thier sales as well .which effects the rent . fredonia has a stove that electricutes you. I have been electicuted 3 times there .dunkirk has mice in the store that are properly taken care of.employees in fredonia pre make expressos in order to speed up service. Food is not handled properly. And coffee many time is expired or not timed. Some employees dont show up to work for days on end and still have jobs .she uses customers to gather info on employees. When my car died i asked to go back to my home store where i get paid and she told me to take a cab to fredonia .i called the public health office after multiple people told me that adrian nut was inappropriate with them .then we signed harrasment policies again .employees pick on other employees with mental alments in front of other employees and customers .she once had me reporting for her thats how i kbow she pratices this method. I have text messages to prove it. Sometimes i feel that they try to make me quit by the amount of employees that bother me . noone is held accountable and not many follow the code.the amount of water that has been dripping in 2 faucets in dunkirk is a complete waste .that store grosses @$6000 a day so they have money to fix it.ive seen employees pick up paper and plastic cups and reuse them.there is no consistancy at all between the 3 locations.Dave i feel would like to make things better .but is used as a handy man and is not allow to go against gina wich is actually hindering things .the stores if ran correctly have the potential to make so much more money .but at this rate they stand to lose customers .kitchens are like a heart beat .and to run smooth they have to be managed correctly. .some managers sit in the office most the day andpush all responsibilities on others. And it hurts the over all income .these people are not trained for management. The stores never set up for success. Alot of payroll is wasted by overcompensating for the lack of performance from other employees which is why good people quit .now gina plans on opening another spot in cassadaga .that one too will make money but with no real regulation and that concerns me. We use 7shifts for our scheduling. And to recieve messages from gina and andrea .at times employees will work at 2 or 3 locations in a week. I just feel that your company deserves better then this .being she reresents you as a company .and makes the overall job expierence kind of crappy .and she doesnt make empoyees respect customers .i feel she keeps them because they report to her. She is never really at anystore and neither is andrea .there is a total lack of management and it effects you as a company .all complaints are referred to her as the owner i believe in order for people to not contact coperate. There is much more info i have as well ty for your time .jeanette delgado a conserned employee .also according to the internet we should open at 7am but we actually open at 4 am .drawers are left in the tills at registers all night . vineyard has no opening alarm code. And only am managers have access to the office if anything call me [protected]

Tim Hortons service

Went threw the drive thru at 7 Anne st Barrie, Ontario was greeted with attitude when asking anything else over my two item order. Received a wrong item so went inside to politely ask it to be corrected as I'm a Tim Hortons supervisor and understand these things happen but the manager who remade my order giving rude attitude over her kind employees shoulder and was also not wearing a hair net this whole time continued going off to other employees about I forgot what was on it read it back and she said yes which my order was not read back at all it was a very long pause after my last item was ordered and her response of anything else and then 4.95 drive on. The disrespect of listening to her continue to the other employees about I repeated it and she said yes about 3 times as I stood there and listened while waiting to be handed my order that she very angerly shoved at her kind employee that was serving counter. Mary-lee is the managers name.
