Tim Hortons not hiring teenage girl

My daughter has applied at a particular Tim Hortons in this town. They have had a "Now Hiring" sign up for a about a month. She filled out an application, handed in her resume with it and didn't get an interview. She is a Honor Roll student, not a party kid yet this store hire some teenage girls that are sleazy and look like they are about 20 years old. She went back into the store about a week later asked for the manager/supervisor, supervisor told her they were setting up interviews that week and that they would pull her application/resume. She called a week later and was told all the hiring was done. I am not impressed with the way they hire.

Seems like you are just angry that your daughter didn't get hired. Suck it up... I applied to at least 30 different places before I got hired anywhere. Sometimes there are just other, better candidates to choose from.

being a current Tim Hortons manager, I completely agree with "Oh Wow, Really". Availability is of primary concern when considering which applications to follow up on. Many student employees are busy during the week and need specisfic days off for hockey, dance, etc. All of which are great, however when a manager receives literally hundreds of part time applications, those with restricted availability or late start times drops them to the bottom of a very large pile.

I'm also wondering if this disappointed mother accompanied her daughter to the store when she applied in the first place. Note to potential student employees:, DO NOT bring your parents with you when you apply for a position. It basically tells the manager that are you not mature enough to seek employment on your own, which also puts you at the bottome of the pile.

It is further possible that in a small town, the store receives more than enough adult applicants. Virtually all managers when given the opportunity prefer to hire adults. The significant increase in Minimum Wage has put far too many potential student employees out of consideration. Why hire someone who is there usually for the social experience and can only work certain times / days, when a more mature and responsible adult is available for just $0.65 an hour more? Makes no sense.

Maybe they are not interested not because of her specifically, but maybe her availability is an issue. Maybe the time frame they are hiring for is during school hours when she wouldn't be available. As someone who hired for a retail store at one point, I can tell you availability can instantly disqualify an otherwise great candidate.

Tim Hortons rude manager

I've spent way too much money at Tim Ho's because of convenience, especailly when I have to work graveyard shifts. As I've complained before, the quality is way down along with the sizes of EVERYTHING since tim hortons was sold to Wendy's many years ago. Heck, prices are up too (not that most of us have noticed the changes).. but think about it.. 7 years ago you could barely finish a single apple fritter, it cost you 64 cents with tax, and it was baked FRESH in the back a few hours earlier! Now, before I get into TOO much of a rant, this complaint is about a specific incident. Unfortunately, out of convenience, I have spent a few thousand dollars at Tim hortons every year (between my girlfriend and myself). That will likely be changing now. A week ago we went to the CedarHill Tim ho's, got a couple XL drinks (for about 5 bucks) and a muffin and donut. I wanted a honey crueller, they don't compare to the original.. but they're one of the donuts that I still find 'good', or so I thought. This one was the SMALLEST I have ever seen. almost as small as a muffin. It was also almost completely un-iced. I did not return to this location for about a week beause it doesn't have a drive-thru. When I did return, I ordered the drinks for myself and my girlfriend and then mentioned my dissapointing honey crueller from before. The worker behind the counter (who may have been a manager?) was extremly rude, attempted to embarass me infront of the line up by questioning why it took me a week to complain. I explained that I had eaten the donut after driving away, and was dissapointed. I stated I hoped it would be replaced with a proper honey crueller. He laughed and told me he couldn't help me. I am a professional that has spent way too much on empty calories at this imposter of a good Canadian business. The impolite Asian man behind the counter of the Cedarhill tim hortons in Victoria yesterday, March 16th needs to grow up and get some customer service skills. I hope you're reprimanded if you continue to be so impolite, especailly to a repeat customer such as myself.

First of all, I would like to inform both the writer of this ridiculous complaint, and all of the unfortunate future readers, that there is no "asian manager" at this location. This particular store is owned by the same owner that owns the Shelbourne/Mackenzie location by the Home Depot/Boston Pizza and the Hillside Mall location. All three of these stores operate under a Quarterly (4x/year) inspection schedule from Head Office - as do all Tim Hortons - wherein they receive 96% or higher every time (an achievement that has won them several plaques which are on display in their restaurants).

The donuts come in 'par baked' and are 'baked to completion' in house and this has been going on for way more than "7 years" and no, it was not 64 cents then either. Try back in 1995. The reason for this shift is simply demand. On a single day shift from 6am to 4pm, that location alone sells over 300 donuts, never mind timbits and other baked goods. If you can propose a way, sir, that a business can meet that type of demand from scratch baking -- let Tims know.

As for your claim about the Roll-Up Cups... You make me sick. The staff are not even allowed to purchase a cup or claim a prize -- and this extends to immediate family and spouses.

I'm sorry you had a poor customer service experience, but I have been an Assistant Manager at these locations for the past 8 years and they are doing a great job. Do some research into a company before you go spouting off about them.

Tim Hortons ripped off

Tim Hortons is NOT Canadian. It was sold to Wendy's many years ago! Soon after the sale; they started reheating frozen donuts, muffins, timbits, bagels and other pastries that are made in America and shipped up here. Not only are the baked goods extremely inferior, they are also LITERALLY about half the size as before. The drink sizes are disturbing now. The Tim Horton's original small is now the LARGE... seriously, it has changed that much. Service is worse because most employees make minimum wage yet they have raised the price of every menu item numerous times. Distrubing, capitalists.

Tim Hortons we charge extra..

Almost daily before heading to work I stop by the Tim Hortons closest to my office. I have had minor issues in the past which I never complain about such as ex large cups of coffee only filled 3/4 of the way, over cooked pastries, not adding sleeves to hot beverages and so on..
This morning I had ordered a large steaped tea, and I usually ask for 2 milk and 2 sugar, along with a danish and then having a soar throat today I asked if I could get two honeys on the side.. which I usually add to my tea (and one for my throat). Since when is charging for honey necessary when you order a hot tea?! I have asked for two in the past and it has never been a problem. I am very disappointed in the lack of service at this Tim Hortons (Burrard St., Vancouver, BC). I find that customer service is lacking at this location compared to others and I may have to start walked further in the mornings to travel to a new location with better service, or take 5 steps the opposite direction and get my breakfast tea/coffee at McDonalds.

Tim Hortons burnt coffee

I thought Tim Hortons coffee was to be dumped out every 20 minutes, but when we went into the Tim Hortons at our local mall (one that was very busy) we were served coffee that tasted very burnt, then we noticed that on the one pot was written 1:06 (for their dump time) and on the other was written 2:05 . our problem was that it was after 2:00 all ready! Another problem is that we have complained about burnt coffee in the past, and nothing is ever done about it, we love Tim Hortons coffee, but cant stomach much more of this.

as an employee..sadly... we are told by owners to make the coffee strech out, , , its there way of keeping food cost low andsaving themselfs money, , i dont know how its ran in up there but here in the states that seems to be the game they play, , if i want coffee i walk over to biggby in uniform and all to get my coffee, , , the 20 min thig is mostly just to draw business in i do believe, as awards are given out with a cash prize to stores for, , low food cost, , , , "always fresh award" ect, its all just a big joke,

Tim Hortons chedder cheese bagel

It was Sunday on Jan 23, 2011 at 5:00pm when we went to Tim Hortons. When ordering a chedder cheese bagel and coffee, we found that Mohammed was too uncaring and slow. When we got the cheese bagel we found it was almost completely burnt. This was bad service. We hope that the management takes corrective action with this employee. We would also appreciate a free bagel in return for this poor service. We intend to tell all of our friends and family about how dissatisfied we were with this location's poor customer service.

Tim Hortons pricing

I have no idea why this happens but I can never get the same price for one drink I get. When I don't want striaght up coffee, I ask for a half coffee, half hot chocolate. I usually get charged for the price of a coffee but every so often someone will charge me for a cafe mocha. A cafe mocha contains half coffee, half hot chocalate AND a topping of whipped cream and chocolate curls. However, I don't get the toppings (too much sugar). I wouldn't complain so much but my brother worked at a Timmy's for over a year and he's told me he only charged for a coffee when anyone ordered that.

Virgostar, your brother is right. As a Tim Horton's employee, if you ask for a coffee half hot chocolate, it is the same price as a regular coffee or hot chocolate. A Cafe Mocha is clearly a coffee with half hot chocolate and whipped topping and chocolate or caramel drizzle on the top, which is more than a coffee, half hot chocolate.

Tim Horton's is WAAAAAAAY TOO HIGH on everything they have there! I mean, it's not even that good of quality food, etc. and they're charging "Fine Dining" price, almost! They try to scam people based on a name that you hear over and over through their advertising, etc. I guess they think that being Canadian is somehow "special"! Who gives a ### who Tim Horton is/was? I wish that he would go back to Canada and stay the hell there! [censored]BAG ALERT!

Tim Hortons never fresh

Two years ago (2009) I had went to a Tim Hortons late at night and the only food they had left were Jelly Donuts. I ordered one and it was harder than a rock, and so I spoke to the only women working there. She proceeded to be extremely rude and told me to stop bothering her (keep in mind, there was NOBODY out at that time). I am a teenager and am sick of workers thinking that I am not a customer that they have to treat with respect.

I e-mailed the head office stating how it is never fresh and my donut was so hard that it was not edible. She apologized and said she would look into it (although it has never been done, as donuts are still stale after 11am). I did not even get a refund for the non-edible donut. Why is customer service being put aside?

I have never ordered another donut since, the only time it is fresh is at 6 am. Same goes for their coffee if their not busy.

Tim Hortons dirty trays

I went to the Tim Hortons in the Montreal West island off highway 40 around Chemin Ste.Maire. Placed my order and went to get a tray, but noticed the tray was filthy, kept going down about 4 trays, all dirty and even had icing on it. I went to the other set of trays and they were also dirty. I had a feeling this was a bad sign. 1 hr later my boyfriend and I both ran to the washroom with an upset stomach. Also, they were out of ketchup, which is pretty much a staple item at these fast food places. Some one is not managing this place. I'll never go there again.

Dear NO MORE TIMS:

Allow me to dissect your comment, based on the criteria you measure Tim Horton's employees.

"You see the staff at tim hortons just dont give a ###.Yes they get min wage, but that is all they deserve and most cases to much." That sentence looked like it was written by a cousin-kissing F150 driving hick.

"They are working there because due to lack of education or english speaking there choices are limited.I can tell the color of drive through server, by length and speed of line." You mean 'THEIR choices are limited' right? I know, the English language is hard, especially for white folk like you and me. Perhaps you belong on the other side of the counter.

"Instead of pretending to care, and try making something of them selves as Manager ect, but they just like being stupid and ignorant." So are you telling me then that all Tim Horton's employees are stupid, but the Managers are the exception now? Oh, and lets not forget that they 'enjoy' being stupid. Shall I keep going? Ok.

"I have a tims across the street from my house.I have to drive to another down street due to stupidity.I have writen tims and sugested they do secret spot checks as a customer to there franchises, but they think there to big to care.Well GM felt the same way, and there done." You have to drive to another Tim Horton's down the street due to stupidity - your stupidity right? After all, it seems pretty stupid to me that you would drive out of your way to a different Tim Horton's when they all offer the same bad service that you claim. One last question - when you 'writen' Tim Horton's, did you use crayons, or did you get your mommy to help you?

Author's note: I do not work for Tim Horton's, I just can't stand racial innuendo.

Hi there, I worked at Tim Hortons for amost two and a half years. Now that I am not employed by them anymore I do not feel remorse for saying any other this:

With the exception of a few really awesome customers (usually the regulars), Tim Hortons customers treat the counter staff like slaves. No wonder I didn't give a ###.. I was tired of being called names, made inferior and infantilized by the country hicks who marched in through the store as though they were better than everyone. I couldn't count the number of times I've had a customer make me run to the back in TEARS because I felt so degraded. I couldn't count the number of times I had to literally clean ### off the walls of the bathroom because some customers act like monkeys and actually fling poo at the walls. All that trouble for barely over minimum wage... and thats after two years of working there. Maybe its just "stupid and ignorant" of me to have thought that people should follow the basic principle of respecting others, just cause if they wear an ugly-### uniform and serve you donuts doesn't mean that they are your personal slaves.

Dear NO MORE TIMS,
As a loyal employee of Tim Hortons for the past 2 years I find your comments quite offensive. Not all employees are brain dead ###s, and judging by your ignorant comments perhaps your outlook on life is quite pessimistic and therefore you blow things out of proportion. It happens when the is little else in life to celebrate. Perhaps generalizing isn't in your best interests as I have known many Tim Hortons employees who are wonderful people and unlike yourself aren't so pessimistic. As far as your comment on the colour of the drive thru, this is very irrelevant in the drive thru times as any number of things can increase our drive thru times such as ignorant customers. In anycase 'sir' have yourself a wonderful day and hope nobody spits in your coffee.

Tim Hortons rude/careless

I would like to report a very rude and careless tim hortons franchisee or owner by the name of mark walsh. He owns and operates around 4 tim hortons stores in the heart of toronto which is downtown toronto. His franchise business which operates these 4 tim hortons stores is called m. F. W. Limited.

On thursday, november 19, 2009 at one of his locations which is on 175 bloor street east, toronto, ontario canada, m4w 3r8 [protected]; he had unlawfully insulted and harassed one of my friends who was working over there. My friend was an employee of mark walsh and was about to negotiate his contract with mark walsh on his last day as a baker when all of a sudden mark walsh had unlawfully blurted these words to my friend: "no! You are not working here no more, now get out! And for collecting your record of employment, I bet that you collected those records a lot before because you have a lack of work!". My friend was then surprised to hear what came out of mark walsh's mouth but he then felt sorry for mark walsh because he probably had thought that mark walsh was angry about something else so my friend then proceeded to offer a "farewell handshake" to mark walsh but then mark walsh stubbornly had refused the shake and had angrily told my friend to "leave immediately" and had ridiculously escorted my friend outside the kitchen area. As soon as my friend had texted this incident to me while sitting down in dining area, mark walsh then proceeded to unlawfully harass my friend by telling him to "leave the store" and that he is "not wanted here no more!". My friend then got angry at mark walsh and said that his business was ridiculous, mark walsh then replied "you have a nice day!" in a sarcastic tone and as soon as I came over there to pick up my friend from that store, mark walsh then proceeded to waive his hand in a "sweeping motion" sarcastic way to me and my friend and smiled maliciously at the both of us in a sarcastic way.

I would like to say to tim hortons corporation that mark walsh and his unorthodox business practices should be reviewed and examined because what he had done to me and my friend was very unlawful and unjust. Tim hortons has a 20 minute waiting policy, and that policy is waived if you purchase something. The main reason why my friend was sitting there was because he was waiting for me to pick him up and I was going to buy coffee from mark walsh's establishment, but after what he told to my friend, and purposely kicking him out of his store, and maliciously smiling at me, I will not go to any of his establishments ever again!

Mark walsh also owns 3 other establishments in toronto. They are on the intersections of:

1) yonge and davisville: 1910 yonge street, toronto, ontario m4s 1z3 [protected]

2) bloor and sherbourne: 419 bloor street east, toronto, ontario m4w 1h7 [protected]

3) yonge and st. Clair: 1521 yonge street, toronto, ontario m4t 1z2 [protected]

Please avoid buying anything from all 4 of his locations as he is careless and unprofessional in operating a tim hortons franchise and head office should look into this matter.

Tim Horton's in Oromocto, NB on Restigouche road. I purchased a large and extra large at the drive thru. As soon as I pulled onto the road I noticed the cup holder filling up with coffee. I pick it up to see and it completely pored all over my hand and legs. It was so painful and my hand and inside leg are burning. This is unacceptable. They made me fill out a accident report. What should I do. My seat and truck have coffee in places I cant even reach and the truck is brand new.

Tim Hortons rude bully tactics and abuse of staff by management

I have witnessed the Manager/Mel (Mellissa) verbally threaten and insult staff members repeatadlly. I have witnessed this manager " Mel " lash out and insult her staff. As a daily customer of this store I need to bring to your attention the abuse of power I have witnessed. I have left complaints in the store comment box but have seen things escalate. I have personally witnessed " MEL" insult and verbally torture her staff. Loud comments such as " How can you be so stupid" constant degrading comments, rude outbursts and threats of job loss to several employees. I have sat there with groups of regular customers and all looked at each other with disgust at the cruel treatment Mel subjects her employees to. I do not enjoy or make a habit of complaining as life is too short but as a long time customer of this store I feel it my duty to make someone aware of the problem. No one deserves to be treated this way. Myself and several of my friends no longer go to this store. I will drive out of my way for your quality goods but never be back to this store.

Found a ladybug in a sandwich from Tim Hortons. It fell out of the sandwich and when I went to complain the staff just took the sandwich away and said nothing. I had to go back up to the counter to tell them I wanted a refund. Finding a bug in a sandwich is not acceptable and they said it was probably from the lettuce. Well yes it was, but there is no...

Tim Hortons unfair treatment of workers

i work at this tim hortons in calgary and the things that the manager (Donna) gets away with as far as bullying, harrasment and verbal abuse of workers in front of other workers and customers is ridiculous. And to make it even worse when the complaints are brought to the attention of the owner and Tdl themselves everyone turns a blind eye to it and brushes it off. Here are a few examples of what she has done and gotten away with and in every case each worker was either transfered out of the store to shut them up or they were forced to quit due to the mental stress and anguish inflicted upoun them by this manager. All of this supported by the owner of the store which is even worse. In all cases below the victims of her abuse were the ones punished for her actions instead of her being the one punished and dealt with and it still continues to this day as i am watching it happen to a fellow worker at the time. Her name is Valerie and she deserves none of the actions this manager is inflicting towards and upon her.

#1. A pregnant worker who had a note from her doctor stating she could not sweep or mop the manager made fun of her in front of other workers and customers mocking her because she could not do these duties causing the woman to break down emoitionally and forcing her to take early maternity leave.

#2. A worker worker the manager didnt like she suggested in front of workers that this woman was a slut and a [censored] and that she would sleep with any guy in thier trucks in the parking lot. This inflicted tremendous emoitional anguish and stress upon this worker. the resolution ? theowner transfered the worker to another store making her feel like it was her fault and the manager was left to continue reining terror and harrasment on her next victim.

#3. She constantly makes racist comments and remarks towards the east indian and native girls saying i will never hire brown girls again because they are lazy and only show up for work when they want to. She has made these comments numerous times reducing workers to tears and instilling fear upon them that because they are of a different race that they fear that they may lose thier jobs, because the manager will replace them with caucasion workers.

#4. Another worker that had a bad back was ridiculed and berated in front of customers and other workers to the point that she broke down mentally and emotionly and quit her job because of it.

I could go on and on but i think you get my point. I have watched for years what she has done and i can not stand by quitely anymore without letting people know what kind of store owner and manager they are supporting by buying product from this store. Workers in this workplace should have the right to a workplace free of this kingd of bullying, harrasment and racism. Am i wrong or right? Please voice your opinions and please help make this company aware of how wrong these actions by this manager are.

I worked for tim hortons for almost 3 yrs and the manager was so mean to all of us nobody wanted to work woth her. She was always yelling at us in front of customers and never did anyhing around the store except run personal errands. It was the worst experience I ever had at a job.

Tim Hortons Toasting bagels

A very mild complaint: When I order a TOASTED bagel, it's because I prefer it to be toasted. When I order toasted products during busier hours, I find that my bagel is barely toasted. By barely I mean slight toasting on the edges and NONE in the middle. I understand the need to move orders along, but if it is such an inconvenience to properly do what your menu offers, simply don't offer it anymore.

Tim Hortons Drugs in their coffee

I would just like to say that I think that tim hortons puts drugs into their coffee the only reason I say that is because All of my family member's and some of my friends just gotta go and get more and they just keep coming back and keep on going back and I find this really suspicious and I think that they should be closed down all over the nation frankly I hate all of tim hortons food and drinks. Like c'mon iced coffee or cappachino's like thats more dairy queen or Mc. Donalds If you people like tim hortons so much then worship them but I say they put something in their coffee that makes it so addictive sure people have told me oh maybe its the caffine I say it must be drugs, If you think you need coffee then go to wendy's or mc. donalds, not tim hortons anyways thats what I have to say

your totally right man! it's is extremely addictive! don't listen to the people who deny that, good for you speaking up! you think for yourself, that's good, unlike others that have answered. tim horton's is in the business of selling crack! the people line up around the block for their next dose! HIGHLY addictive, and they think it's normal to crave it first thing in the morning, because it's legalized in society... it's like any other drug, once your hooked, they've got you!

Tim Hortons service

Ordered a breakfast sandwich inside as drive through was busy. Waited 15 minutes for sandwich, after that all counters were free and there were no customers waiting besides me. Went up to the cashier and asked about it. She went to investigate and asked the sandwich girl if she made it, she said she did, so the first response of the cashier was that I must have taken it already. I didn't. Since I already "took it", they would not make me a new one or give me a refund. Yes I wanted to rip Tim Hortons off for a 2$ sandwich. Jeeeez.

my friends both ordered ham & Swiss sandwich without tomato.. guess what.. tomato on both sandwich. Neither of them toasted as requested.

you would think they would have got SOMETHING right!

I think you may enjoy this little story of my most recent complaint worthy expierence at Tim Hortons... I should start off by saying I am... well was, a frequent daily Tims customer (3x daily give or take.) That being said I think you can imagine how I had thought of their service before and that besides being falsely accused of harassing an elderly couple outside a location in my hometown when I was 16 by a manager, the expierences have been pretty good.

I along with several friends went to tims after the GSP (UFC 124) fight Saturday December 11th 2010. I placed our orders, swiped my card into the POS machine and did my thing before giving the system back to the employee. As she is standing there in her own little world the machine is beeping like CRAZY, getting a little annoyed, I tell her that she needs to press the 'Ok' as that is what the system is prompting her to do. STILL nothing, so I point to the OK button on the POS system and say you need to press the button! No sooner do I this the Lady working the drive through comes swooping in and goes nuts saying that she'll have me charged for tampering with their equipement and how dare I touch their machine (she also mentioned biting my finger off.)

All of this being said, I would like to know when pointing suddenly constituted as touching, seeing as how after I handed the POS system back to the employee no physical contact between it and myself was made.

I can assure you that I will NEVER go to Tim Hortons ever again. I have never been more embarassed or outraged in my life.

@Laura0786: You didn't have to wait until the line was gone to say that you did not get your sandwich. It may have been possible that someone else grabbed your sandwich with theirs sitting on the counter as well. They definitely can't say at no to something you didn't get. You would have been out of the store if you received your sandwich (unless of course you were eating in) and wouldn't be asking for a sandwich you didn't get. Just wondering: where was the manager or supervisor when this happened? Did you bring it up with them?

@goughe: Even if the lady on drive thru is a manger or supervisor, they don't have the right to say that you will be charged, especially if you didn't even do anything. This is when Tim Horton's needs better training.

I'm terribly sorry for your experience. But as a Tim Horton's employee i would like to say that you do not know how our system works. Debt/master card/tim card transactions at Tims go through automatically and cashiers do not need to press a "ok button." It is you, the customer that ensures the success of the transactions. Now, i know that in your compliant you stated that you swiped your card, but most systems recently have been switched to chip and i was wondering if you had inserted you card instead. If so, the machine might have been beeping because the transaction has been completely, and it was just simply reminding you to remove your card. The card must be removed for our machines to receive your information. If you are unsure of what to do, please follow the instructions on the pin screen. Also, our machines do fail at times, and again i apologize for your inconvenience. If this horrible experience do happen to repeat itself, i suggest that you press the cancel button if possible, and ask to repeat the transaction again.

I am truly sorry for your troubles and we would love to have your business again.

I have worked in a similar role previous to completing my post secondary so it pains me to say this but I don't believe they use common sense or even think for that matter, why would you lie about not getting a 2$ sandwich? You REALLY must have nothing to do with yourself if you are going to sit at tims for 15mins after eating your breakfast so that you can lie and say you never got it. Lol where's the logic in that?

This past Saturday (the 11th of December) four of my friends and I went to Tim Hortons after the GSP fight, we got to the front of the line, I placed our order & swiped my card in the POS system. The cashier stood there in a daze trying to figure out what to do next as the machine was beeping continuously. I politely told her she needed to press the ‘Ok’ button for the transaction to go through and she still seemed lost. I'll admit I was getting a little impatient with this, and I couldn't really leave as I had technically not paid yet as the transaction hadn't been finalized. I pointed to the machine and repeated that she needs to press the button confirming that the transaction is complete, as soon as I do this her co-worker/the lady working the drive through swoops in & goes balistic on me saying she’ll have me charged for tampering with their equipement and how dare I touch their machine.

SINCE WHEN DOES POINTING CONSTITUTE AS TOUCHING?! No physical contact was made after I put my pincode in to the pos system and handed it back to the lady working the front.

I will NEVER go back to Tim Hortons. I have never been so embarassed or outraged in my life.

Tim Hortons Coffee grounds found in coffee

On May 4th, 2010 I ordered a coffee black with 2 sugars from Tim Horton, s in St.-Lin laurentides, Quebec. I got my coffee only to discover that while taking the last few sips, there was a substancial amount of coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup, I almost choked on it before spitting it back into the cup. I went back to the Tim's in St-Lin where I purchased it from and showed them what I had found, and told them that I should get a replacement for this, which at the time they told me they were not able to do that. They made me pay for another coffee. I was very upset about this and will not go back to a Tim Horton's again, as this was not the first time that this has happened, actually it's the third time, it's to bad because I really enjoy my Tim's coffee, but not any more, and I will tell everyone I know not to get their coffee from Tim's, as I will go else where in the future for my coffee. It's sad to see a franchise like this one not care or do the right thing by the customer.

There is only one Tim's in St-Lin Laurentides, where I live, now I will have to go out of my home town to get a coffee.

I would like some sort of response from this complaint.

thanks;
Yvette Willings
you can respond to me at [protected]@hotmail.com

Again this is very unfortunate! good way to loose bussiness.

I believe that about 80% of the Tim Horton's coffee I buy during the roll-up-the-rim-to-win contest have already been rolled up and checked. It is easy to tell...if the spot where the writing is is looser than the rest of the rim...it's obviously been looked at. I would like to see Tim Hortons investigate how many prizes are won by employees and their families compared to the general population.
