AC/DC in Tacoma WA
Here's my big Screw you from Ticket Master.
My youngest daughter and I (I'm 56) joined the ACDC Fan club to get presale ticket codes as two separate member accounts. We then waited until the tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster. We used two separate accounts and got 2 tickets on each account. So far all was good. We then paid for the tickets and got the sale Order Numbers for the 2 sets of tickets, one email to my daughter’s email and one to my email. We then checked for Hotels in the Tacoma area near the Dome and found two rooms on the event night at the Marriott in downtown Tacoma.
I checked my bank statement the following Monday and there were 2 separate charges for the tickets. My youngest daughter Jill and I were going to use the main floor third row tickets and my oldest daughter Libby and her fiancée Jobe who would drive in from Baker Oregon would use the section 15A Row 9 tickets. After I checked my bank statement that day on 9-22-08 I didn't look at it again until the day before concert on 10-30-08. I did not look the whole report over, I had read up from the bottom and saw the 2 sales on 9-22-08. So we planned an expensive trip and overnight stay in Tacoma. I received email notices about tickets but not what tickets. So as you might get by now we arrived at the Tacoma Dome with 4 people and there were only 2 tickets because the main floor row 3 tickets had been canceled. Not only that the lady working the computer kept saying that I had canceled the tickets. As we were going over the ticket problem with the paperless ticket people one of the ladies looked at my statement and proceeded to give me hell for me canceling the 3 row tickets on 9-29-08 and was now trying to scam her. And yes there it was 7 days latter, 40 transactions later and a page away from the sales. I did not cancel the tickets and just want to know what happened? We played by the rules and did everything with two separate accounts for everything except we used my credit card for both sales. Why did the tickets get canceled 7 days later? Who canceled them? Was this done to resale the tickets at a higher price elsewhere so one of the Ticket Master partners could sell them for more money? So put yourself in my place it's 8pm in Tacoma one hour before the show and your told "to bad, there's nothing we can do!”
Like I told the lady at the booth "why would I cancel 3 row seats for what might be the last time to see ACDC?” What happened?
I will confess I don't read my bank statements unless there is something wrong. I do check for transactions that are important and might go for months without looking at it. So there is some fault on my part.
What I want to know is who the F--K canceled my 3rd Row next to the stage walkway tickets?
I still have all the paperwork showing these tickets sales so it was not a dream. This was an extremely bad way to learn about the darkside of Ticketmaster

I have a complaint against Ticket Master. I bought tickets for the Jonas Brothers concert in June at Wembley Arena, for £16.50 each and received an email stating that they were taking £33 from my bank, When the tickets arrived they showed that the tickets were charged at £32.50 eaxh. Ticket master denied that the amount mentioned and on the website existed and they could charge what they wanted.

After lots of other problems with the tickets (which I will not go int o now - for example the tickets not being together) I want a refund of the amount they over charged me of £33.50 plus an amount for all the time and inconvenience. I have complained to Ticket Master and recieved a reply which basically said it was my fault for the tickets and they wouldn't do anything to correct the problem.

Please advise me as to what I can do about the situation.

I would like to file a complaint in regards to the TicketMaster Rewards program. I am tired of $9 being deducted from my bank account each month for a rewards program in which I have never used, nor have I received any information on how to use the rewards. From what I understand, this has not only happened to me but to others for several years.

I have tried to cancel it, and thought I had, but when I received the statement for the next month, there it was again.

This is ridiculous. If you want to purchase a ticket for an entertainment venue, you have to go through them because they are the only ticket salesmen. Because of this, they can take full advantage of you.

I would like for something to be done before others are taken advantage of this scam too!

I ordered two separate sets of discount tickets thorough ticketmaster for Lillith Fair in Philadelphia: one set for my mother and I, as well as one for a close friend- The one discount ticket I ordered for my close friend was cancelled and ticketmaster didn't send me a warning saying they had cancelled my friend's ticket- I think it only fair that since all other online companies send information as to whether or not an item has been sent that ticketmaster should have sent me warning- Instead I found out two weeks later when my extra promotional discount ticket didn't arrive- I called ticketmaster to complain and they told me there was nothing they could do accept order an expensive replacement ticket. I think that after waiting over an hour to find out that they cancelled my ticket they should have given me a ticket at an equal value of $10- Instead I payed $50 for a replacement ticket! Ticketmaster is horrible!

They do a $25 back option when you buy your tickets. Aparetly somewhere in the fine print it signs you up for a "Rewards Program" that charges you $9.00 a month.

It will show up as ENTERTAINMENT REWARDS [protected] MI on your statements.

Nowhere do they send you Emails or mailed statements. They just charge you and wait for you to notice. They don't even send you info on how to use the program. Maybe if they did i would of used it and kept it. But instead it sat unnoticed for months, slowly draining my Debit account.

I have been trying to get help to order accessible seating tickets for the past 10 days and get no help or answers except that someone will be back to me within 24-48 hours but that never happens. Can a handicapped mother not take her children to an event? After ten days of waiting...there might be no more tickets available. I think I might need a lawyer!

I have had trouble purchasing wheelchair accessible seating for an event so I messaged ticketmaster for help. This was on Feb 16th. So far, all I have received back are auto messages saying they will contact me in 24-48 hours. I have been trying to contact them over and over for the past 10 days now. There might not even be seating left now. Can a mother in a wheelchair not get a little assistance to take her children to an event? Very unfair! The venue is not helpful either! How sad!

When a venue has a two (2) ticket limit (or any set amount for that matter) that is PER HOUSEHOLD. Which means only 1 purchase per address. If you would not have tried to defraud TM & the rules which apply to certain venues, your tickets would have not gotten cancelled.

Your tickets were cancelled because the allotment was 2 per account ( any dual purchases bearing the same name, address, credit card, may be cancelled without notice ). You basically answered your own question. You charged both sets on your credit card. Some bands enforce the canellation policy and some do not. sorry about what happened.
