Ticketmaster Concert tickets

Ticketmaster sent an email saying that Squeeze had been postponed. The email said nothing about a 30 day window to request a refund. I have the email. I have requested a refund about 50 times, and they keep saying they notified me of a window and I did not request the refund in time. They did not! I want my money back.
This concert was supposed to occur 8 months ago. They are holding my money indefinitely, when there is no date scheduled for the new event. I no longer want to see Squeeze because this is wrong. I want my money back!

Desired outcome: My money back.

Ticketmaster refund

Hi there,

We had tickets to the rescheduled Russell Howard live gig on 13/3 in Melbourne. Due to the late notice of the change in tickets we were unable to attend and requested a refund. I quickly received an email saying that the refund had not gone through as the account I had booked the tickets with originally had been closed, could I provide relevant account details. I have done so via reply email within 48hrs of receiving this email - nothing. I have written to them on multiple occasions asking for a status updating - nothing. I have tried to call but apparently they are still operating on COVID protocols and no-one there to take my call. Can I please get some assistance?

Thanks
Sabine

Desired outcome: refund received

Ticketmaster Expired voucher

I received an two emails from ticketmaster saying that my voucher which was used for a cancelled play, was extended until 2022. When I recently tried to confirm this again, I was told that the voucher expired 2020 and I could no longer use it. The issue is that ticketmaster told me it was good until 2022 and so based on the information they gave me, I believed it was good until 2022 and had time to use the voucher. They refuse to acknowledge this even though I sent them proof of their emails, and keep reverting to their argument that the voucher expired in 2020.

Desired outcome: another voucher for $200 with a realistic expiration date

Ticketmaster Ripoff

I ordered tickets on Dec 18 for Toby Mac concert Feb 19th. Order 11-14584/FLO. Section 212 Row J seats 4-2 39.95 per seat. Total cost 188.90 I was emailed today 2/16 telling me my seats were moved to 318 H 19-21. I was told I could not cancel & be refunded and difference of cost will not be refunded. Seats in 3rd level are $19.95 I purchased early and the seats were already separate due to covid19. That is completely unacceptable that 3 days before the concert they are moved up a complete level and cost told be be the same.

Desired outcome: Keep my seats section 212 Row J Seats 4-2 Amalie Arena or refund the difference

Ticketmaster No refund for canceled concert

Manage My Order - Request A Refund Or Credit - 2-42581/NY1 - Justin Bieber

On July 23 2020 I received an email that this concert is being rescheduled and my seats would be refunded. The email also said I don't need to do anything and my refund would be sent automatically within 30 days.

As of today November 3 2020 no refund. When I inquire about the refund Ticketmaster's automated response says I passed the 30 day limit to request a refund and they don't have any request in their system showing I requested a refund or credit.

If the refund is automatically issued why do I need to request it? I want my money back the concert was supposed to be September 26 2020 which passed.

Ticketmaster Bad customer service

I purchased tickets for the Alan Parsons Project concert in Atlanta. During the Covid 19 shutdown Ticketmaster shut down their customer service. I tried to contact them but was unsuccesful. I called the venue and asked about the refund policy if the concert was cancelled or re scheduled for a date I could not attend. They did not know because Ticketmaster wasn't giving them information either. If they had kept their customer service open none of this would have happened. Somehow the venue made a mistake and sent a request for a refund of my tickets. I did not ask for a refund. I contacted Ticketmaster and kept hearing the phrase I'm sorry not this is our fault and we will fix it. I found out that they do not care about their customers. I would like someone from Ticketmaster to resolve their mistake and take ownership of this. All I want is for a company to provide the service I paid for and not tell me they are not willing to help. All I wanted was to go to a concert.

Ticketmaster andrea bocelli concert dec 15, 2019

In Re: Andrea Bocelli Concert at Capital One Arena on December 15, 2019
To Whom It May Concern:
We purchased tickets to the Bocelli concert on April 6, 2019 with our Chase Visa card. Tickets were emailed to us that same day and we were instructed to print the tickets. The email from Viagogo said that the tickets were genuine.
We paid $319.83 for the tickets from Viagogo dated April 14, 2019 at 6:49pm in attachment 1.
The Order ID number we were given was [protected].
Also the two tickets that we had purchased we were told were void by the staff at the Capital One Arena on the night of the concert. The staff who assisted us were Carlette and Dennis. Carlette was working Window 4 and Dennis was her supervisor. Dennis told us that we were the sixth or eighth person to show up that night with voided tickets that were owned by the same original purchaser.
Dennis informed us that the original owner had communicated to the Capital One Arena- not sure to whom - in September that the tickets would only be valid if electronic. No entity, not Viagog and not Ticket Master bothered to inform us, the ticket holders of the change. The tickets we printed specifically say in bold upper-case letters "Not Valid Via Mobile Device."
The replacement tickets that we then had to purchase on the night of the concert cost us $418.00. We not only wish to be compensated for the initial price of the ticket but also for the $98.17 cents that we were forced to spend for inferior seats from which we could barely see the tops of the heads of the performers. Our only option that evening, if we wanted to see the concert, was to purchase these more expensive seats.
Our contact data is: [protected]@gmail.com. My cell phone number is: [protected].
It is totally unacceptable for someone to be able to change the terms of the ticket contract after they have sold the tickets and the tickets were delivered to the purchaser. It is also totally unacceptable for the terms of the ticket to be changed and for us, the purchasers, to not be told.
We would appreciate your prompt response. Online ticket sales really only favor the seller and not the consumer.
We are alerting our Congressman Gerry Connolly (VA 11th) who serves on the House Oversight Governmental Reform Committee and the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection of this issue.
Sincerely,
Sean & Claire Coleman

Ticketmaster no tech support for ticketmaster website

Old credit card was replaced with new. Had same cc # but different expiration date. Old cc was my default cc on Ticketmaster. I deleted it and tried to replace it with the new one. I keep getting an error saying the card is already in the system. Cleared cache, logged out and in, same results. Ticketmaster live support (both chat and phone) are stumped and sad they have no tech support. E-mail support said they couldn't find my account, although I submitted the support request via their website off my account. No one at Ticketmaster is able to update my cc info for me, leaving me only the option to get a new cc. Horrible service that they have zero tech support for their website.

Ticketmaster refund of cancelled event

Ticketmaster holds digital records of who the rightful owner of each ticket to each seat of each event whether purchased or transferred through them and yet when an event is cancelled they choose to give the refund of the face value of the ticket to the first ticket purchaser even when they know that the party no longer has any legal right to them. When they are questioned about the policy they simply state that the current and rightful owner of tickets to the event will have to reach out to the first purchaser and hope that the person, who received the refund from Ticketmaster that they no longer have a legal right to receive, will decide out of the goodness of their heart to transfer the funds they were not entitled to back to the person who is the rightful owner of the tickets. It would be understandable in a world twenty years ago when an individual might hand a paper ticket to another party and Ticketmaster being unaware of such transaction would send the face value of the ticket back to the original purchaser as they would have been the only party that Ticketmaster was aware of, but in a digital world in which Ticketmaster requires an account with them to be created with all personal information before any transfer of digital tickets can be made and of which transfer Ticketmaster is aware of and knows who the proper owner of the tickets is, it is unconscionable that they would pretend to not be aware of the legal rights of a ticket holder to the face value of the tickets they purchased upon cancellation of an event and instead expect that the original purchaser who was paid for the release of rights to tickets and who was than given a refund for which they are not entitled to by Ticketmaster, would choose out of the goodness of their heart to give the money away that they received from Ticketmaster for tickets that they no longer hold any right to and that they and Ticketmaster know they have no rights to, to the party that actually holds the legal right to the tickets. Tickets may be transferred multiple times and the original purchaser may have no connection to the end owner of the tickets and so it is even more ridiculous that Ticketmaster would wrongly give the refund to someone who has no right to the tickets and than ask the rightful owner to try and get the money back for the tickets they own from the person who originally bought them from Ticketmaster but who holds no rights to the tickets.

Ticketmaster platinum tickets purchased with insurance

I cannot go to the event. Neither Ticketmaster nor Allianz are doing anything to attend my claim. Very expensive tickets, platinum seats, insurance coverage. I call Ticketmaster and the phone representative confirms that I have purchased the appropriate insurance, however simply keeps sending me to Allianz. I call Allianz and the phone representative keeps asking for a policy insurance, which I do not have at all. Ticketmaster and Allianz need different numbers, they do not contact each other, and the client has no answer! Very disrespectful and disappointing. This should be simple, I am calling for several days, and it is still twenty some days ahead of the event. I need the refund or the insurance payment.

Ticketmaster tickets

I purchased two tickets on Ticketmaster (R2 Prouctions Bethel Music Victory Tour) that was misrepresented as Floor Row 1 tickets. After paying for the tickets they were mezzanine tickets purchased by a Vic Miz for $28 and I paid $59 for each tickets. After contacting Ticketmaster the customer service rep was RUDE and did not help me at all. He basically told me that the tickets were resale tickets and people can sale tickets for how much they want. Totally missing the point that this is totally fraudent how these tickets were sold on their website. BEWARE of the scams and the information people post to scam customers.

Ticketmaster tickets

I bought 3 tickets to Hoodie and the Blowfish and they went through on my credit card and few weeks later got an email stated I violated terms of policy and they canceled my tickets. No one can tell me what I did wrong. Never buy from here ever. I called and emailed and get a generic answer. "our system shows you violated terms of policy" No one can explain. Now I am unable to go to this concert that my husband has had on his bucket list forever.

Ticketmaster presale tickets for michelle obama at the tacoma dome

I applied for and received a code for the verified fan presale option for Michelle Obama at the Tacoma Dome (2/8/19). The advanced ticket sales began at 10:00 a.m., Friday 12/15/18

I logged into my ticketmaster account at 9:30 a.m. I waited in the queue...there were 2000 people ahead of me. I thought, no worries since the venue capacity is 23, 000.

Once my turn was up, I searched for tickets. I was ready to purchase seats for reasonable prices.

I clicked the "get tickets" button and received the message "we are unable to complete this request...we recommend using a different device..."

Unbelievable! I consistently purchase tickets from my laptop. Now the event is nearly sold out. This process seems like a hoax for me.

Ticketmaster ticketmaster cork outlet ireland

This is a query as I am receiving no customer service answer from anyone and I am very frustrated. I'm curious about the Ticketmaster outlet in Merchant Quay, Cork City.

I am based near Tralee, Co. Kerry (over 100 km away) and was working on the morning of the 7th December so I asked my daughter who is in college in Cork to try and get tickets for the Hugh Jackman show in Dublin as I wanted them as a surprise present for my husband. My daughter went the Ticketmaster in Merchants Quay, Cork to buy the tickets that morning, she arrived at 8:30 a.m. and was in the shop at 9 a.m. The sales man serving had come out to the queue before 9 a.m. to ask who was waiting for what tickets. When the shop officially opened my daughter went in and enquired about platinum tickets and the man abruptly told her no, they dont deal with them, there was only general tickets available so she then went ahead and asked for tickets for the show.

She got her tickets and was getting ready to pay when the gentleman BEHIND her asked for Friday tickets and the sales person serving that man issued Friday tickets for that gentleman without any question or issue. She then realised that her tickets were for Thursday and asked if Friday ones were available, she was told again no so took his word for it and paid for the Thursday tickets. There was a woman waiting behind this gentleman to which the sales man serving had addressed her before opening, was now saying that he HAD 3 Friday tickets ready for her if she wanted! This sale was at 9.05am.

My daughter was bewildered by this but as she was in a hurry for the train she left the shop with the intention of going back to question it later although she was nervous about doing so as she is only 19 and felt she should take the sale server's word for it because why would he lie about it?

While I was glad she got the tickets for us, I was curious to know the reason why she was told there were no Friday tickets available when clearly there were, as people behind her in the queue got them. I had tried contacting the shop by telephone but couldn't get through so I posted the question on their Facebook page and it has been deleted 3 times. There is no option to private message them and they have now blocked me.

Eventually I received a call back after contacting the Merchant Quay Main Shopping Centre facebook page, I had privately asked if they could oblige me and pass message on, for a manager to contact me asap, eventually on the 10th December Shane, the manager and sales person (on the day he said), spoke to me on the phone and was extremely rude and kept speaking over me. He didn't answer my question and just said that if my daughter had a problem she should call to him to discuss it. I told him I have been trying to get in contact with him since the morning of the 7th December and the phone was off. He said he is too busy for the phone. I said I also asked the question on the Facebook page which had been removed and he told me the company would remove any negative reviews left. I told him it wasn't a negative review it was just a question but he still didn't answer me. I still don't know why she was refused Friday tickets when clearly they were available.

Today, 13th December, my daughter went back in to the shop today as the man had asked and he still refused to give her any information, except for the number [protected] which is a number we have all ready tried. She asked for contacts details for customer service, she asked for his head office details, He put his hand up to another woman customer in shop who was going to ask him a question, saying that he would deal with her after all while shouting at my daughter saying he was the owner, no one was above him, and that she should go online to Ticketmaster to complain. Her friend with her asked him to please stop shouting at her he rudely told her he wasnt dealing with her.

When she said that she has sent ticketmaster a complaint online already but hasn't received an answer, he answered "And you won't either". Eventually she left the shop in tears because of the way he shouted at her.

I am not happy about they way both my daughter and myself have been treated by this man. He was extremely rude and obnoxious to us and I want to make an official complaint about him.

He should not be in sales.

The customer service is appalling, he should have had the decency to answer the question, instead of shouting abuse. You should rethink who you get to promote your company, this man has no public manner or customer service.

I'm still waiting on an answer to why she was refused.

The two phone numbers they have for customer sevice are now out of service. Details of the complaint are that I tried to purchase Spice Girls tickets, got to the final stages and was kicked out of the app with it stating 'something went wrong'. I got tickets through logging through a friends phone. I was shocked to discover that €583 was debuted from my account for additional tickets. The website states a refund is granted for 3 days after purchase but this option was not available online. They have no other contact details online or anywhere. Can you please help?

Ticketmaster can't print tickets

I bought tickets for the World Chess Championship in London, November 2018 at the beginning of September. To eliminate the hassle of waiting and delivery problems, I selected the print your own tickets option. However, when I log onto my account for the last five weeks it has said the tickets are not ready for printing and I am beginning to doubt whether Ticketmaster has legitimate tickets to sell. There is no contact point to a person on the website which just has standard and useless FAQs.

Ticketmaster customer service and resale pricing.

I tried to buy tickets for my Sister's birthday for October 22 or 23 for hours when selling started for Elton John and could not get anything in the upper level section for either day . I also tried to buy for over 2 hours the day Amex had their presale . I buy and attend concerts from you all the time . Now I see the very next day you are posting tickets that would have cost me about $87 each for over $300 which I guess are now resale . This totally disgusts me as you have now turned your site into a scalping business selling tickets at 3 and 4 times face value from people who obviously had no intention of seeing the show at all . How are the real fans ever going to see the artists they want to see when they can't afford to ? If you are going to allow people to resell on your site they should sell at face value or no more than a 10% markup . The present system you are allowing is an open door for scalpers to sell directly through you without even having to wait until show day and try to sell them on the street .
