My experience with Thompson Creek started off very good with the sales and project manager that came out to confirm the estimate for siding and gutters. After that it has not gone anywhere as well. They didn't have enough product in stock to complete the project and assured me that all would work out. After the receipt of the initial partial shipment, a crew came to install what was already on site. They finished installing the available siding, but have not started to install any gutters at all. The crew worked for a week and piled all the old siding and gutters removed from the house in the yard. The dumpster still had not arrived to put all the old materials into. The dumpster arrived the day after the crew finished that work and remains along our driveway and impedes passage of the driveway. Finally we have received the delivery of the remaining product about a week after the crew finished the previous work. Now we have had rain on a daily basis for a week and will into next week as well that impedes the safety of the crew to finish the project. I don't take issue with the issue of safety. I take issue with that the notification that the crew will or will not come out to work occurs the morning of their scheduled arrival. I have solar panels that are too close to one outside wall that requires someone to come remove them to allow the crew to work safely. I have scheduled another contractor to do that work and cannot provide adequate notice to allow that crew to perform other work. I also took the day off from work for their arrival. I got a call after 8:30 on the first morning and 9:00 on the rescheduled day that the crew cancelled. I specifically requested a confirmation call on the afternoon before the rescheduled day. I didn't receive any call and called myself just before their published close of business for the day. The agent finally confirmed that they had dispatched the crew and opened at 7:00 the next morning to provide an update. I got that update after 9:00 as stated. This morning, the agent then wanted to place the responsibility on me that I could have cancelled knowing the forecast for rain. If I knew that forecast, why didn't or couldn't they have also known the forecast to have properly scheduled the crew? Remember that the crew removed all the gutters and we have had several inches of rain so far and will likely get an additional inch or more until the crew can finally finish the project. We have had the dumpster impeding the driveway for 2 weeks now without any work occurring and likely another week until the weather will subside for the crew to return to complete the project. I also requested that the crew pick up nails before wrapping up the first week of work. Nails that were on the ground while they were still working still exist on the ground. I suspect that nails exist in the yard where they piled up the old siding and gutters. I chose to stay home from work to better observe the work given all these issues. Not going to work impacts the ability of a customer to afford and pay for the work offered by Thompson Creek. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using Thompson Creek. Anyone that does should do so with great trepidation.

Tompson Creek installed my 11 front windows with no problems. When they left I slid my blinds back into their brackets which had not been removed. There was no reason to remove them. I had the 7 windows in the back at a later date with a different crew who removed the brackets. Consequently, I have no blinds in my bedroom and bathroom. I do not feel safe. At the time, I had a boot on, because I broke my foot in three places and was instructed not to use the stairs. When I was to give my report on how they did I gave them a good review. When I finally got up stairs I tried to put my blinds up there were no brackets to slide them in. The brackets were all removed. I tried to install them but I am 73 and I have arthritis in my hands. I called the company and when they finally returned my call, they said they couldn't help. One person I talked with offered to $200. I don' want money. I want my blinds fixed. The crew covered the holes for the brackets so I didn't know where they lined up. These windows, which were supposed to be on sale, were over $14,000 for 7 windows.,.

Thompson creek has not render the paid for product and it has been four month. They promise a date then as I take off work and wait all day they cancel.

I have spoke to someone in Thompson Creek about getting a new Patio door . My door had to be custom made because of the size. I charged $1449.00 on my Master Card that I am paying I have not received my doors. Thompson Creek preferred that I remove the vertical blinds and anything that was in the way of them doing there job, which I did. Now there is nothing at my windows. The doors was to be installed on April 4, but Thompson Creek cancel that date. The next date was 2 May, from 0800-1200 when the workers was to come install, at the last minute the time was changed to 1200-2:00. They made it to my home at 1:30. I could have gone to work a half day. So I wasted a day of work. Once the workers arrived they did not have the proper tools to complete the job and the job was not done. The next time the workers came was May 11 (different workers). Once again I had to rearrange my schedule. And once again the work was not done because the workers did not have the proper tools. Mr. AJ Teets a Proper Manager came to my home once the workers left to see what the problem was and he said they should have installed my doors and he understands my frustration and will put in a request to give me a refund if this is what I wanted. And I do want a refund which I told him. He also said that he will send the report into the office. I spoke to the manager at Thompson Creek on 20 May 2019 and first he said I should be able to get a refund to my Credit Card within 7-10 days. Then I received a call and was told because the doors was custom made I could not get a refund. This is unacceptable because I do not have my doors, and of no fault of mine, and I am paying for this on my credit card. Then I spoke to Ms. Kelsey and on 20 May and she wanted to set up a time for 22 May for someone to come out. Once again no one has called me back and I have been calling leaving messages. What I want is a refund back to my Master card. I do not want the doors. Please provide assistance in getting this problem solved. Thank you. We purchased our windows @ 10 years ago and have had no issues until June, 2018. One of the windows needs repair. We have contacted the service department at Thompson Creek and have had a few replies but no follow through. On Tuesday, September 25, another call to the service department was made and we were put on hold for 40 minutes. By that time, we could not wait any longer.
I have never experienced such poor service from any company.
