I have just bought an acer aspire 5720 series from my local supermarket, and like many people require some help in getting used to the new Vista platform and therfore cannot get my WiFi configured.
I looked within the packaging to find the the number to call acer. Hmm. that's strange, no number. Surely not?! I have now looked through the packaging several times, and still have not found a number with which to contact my computer's manufacturer.
The warrantee, 1 year international warrantee and all the instruction booklets that tell you whaich information to provide when you do call, is there. A number is not.
Thankfully, good-old ASDA (Wal-Mart's UK enterprise) have provided me with a technical support number to contact their guys should I so need to. They gladly provided me with the number.
I have been ringing the number for the last three days, and am constantly told that it is out of office hours.
Shambolic me thinks!
