I ordered the complete Third Watch series i a DVD box set from the webshop COSTAS DVD (www.whycostas.com) and the webshop seemed to be very professional. After ordering, nearly a month went by without a word from the seller, then all of a sudden I got a mail from them where they were apologizing for the delay and explained it by " people having long vacations in the U.S".
Yesterday the goods arrived and my first impression just by looking at the cover of the box set was: "you gotta be kidding me". In a cheap plastic case the dvd`s were thrown about and the front of the cover seemed to be printed with an old inkjet obviously almost out of colour, the entire product oozed of low quality. After trying to watch the dvd`s on my region free player it soon became obvious that the product I had received was a complete scam. Some of the dvd`s would not even play.
The video quality was so low that it seemed like a low quality VHS tape in a nearly busted player. And the worst of it all was that you could clearly see the logo of the broadcaster (which the show was taped from) in the upper right corner (TV 4 PG). To state the obvious: the product I had received was nothing but a low quality VHS tape that someone has made of the show and put it onto dvd`s for ripping other people off. The product was also delivered by the method of drop shipping from Shanghai (China), a method where it to the customs looks like You Yourself is the importer.
DO NOT USE COSTAS DVD IN ANY WAY. IF YOU DO YOU GET RIPPED OFF AND RISK FACING PROSECUTION FOR IMPORTING PIRATED GOODS!

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have been watching some of these websites that sell dvds. They are a scam, you are lucky if you get anything at all, but ripped off!
I bought complete series of 3rd watch thru Costa a complete dodgy copy but i am able to get most of money back but i re ordered 3rd watch thru Planet DVD House and i got a fone call from them saying that i will get a total refund, im still waiting and that was ova a month ago.
Not happy at all, i want my money back.
This was a terrible experience. Looking over their website, no where can one find that one is dealing with China. It is only when the credit card statement came a day or two later that we saw an international currency exchange charge added in, which then led us to cancel the order and refused package when attempted delivery by post office. China Beach as we understand it doesn't exist in dvd, so in all likelihood what we would have gotten would be a pirated copy. Goes to show, that from here on out only will deal with the big boys like Amazon.com, Walmart.com and the likes, a time-tested and proven business. The old adage if the deal is too good to be true...

Thank you for posting complaints regarding THIRD WATCH BOX SET! I was searching the internet to see when the 3rd Season would be released and I came across COSTA DVDS website. I found it odd that the price for the whole season set was close to the individual seasons I have bought in the past! Also noticed that Amazon or Ebay were not selling the Box set of the Complete Series.
Much appreciation for letting the public know about the products that were purchased and the warning of possible risk of being accused of Pirating!

my dauhter bought me third watch as a gift from her and my granson as she new how much i had loved the show sadly it appers to be a scam the same as other people have found it is about time this series was releised for region 2 to stop this happening to others
We ordered the same set but from www.liqidation-dvd-set.com and it came in the same type box with 21 dvds thrown in there. The cover looks like it was copied, not at all what it shows on the website that you are buying. I had to sign for the package and it has chinese/japanese writing all over it. It definately looks like a scam. I'm afraid to put the dvds in my player. I am going to be so disappointed. After much more research no one even sells the other 4 seasons anywhere. Amazon only has the first 2 seasons released to buy, why dont they sell the whole set? Were you able to return them and get your money back?
