I took The Academy with Faithworks Caochings and Seminars LLC paying thousands of dollars in good faith that this company and Gina DeVee would deliver on their promises made for this program.
Unfortunately, they did not deliver on key elements, i.e. they promised that they are in the process of applying for ICF accreditation and submit their application in January 2015. This was a key element promised in their sales page and FAQ page.
However, this claim was untrue and ICF itself issued a statement that they never applied and that none of The Academy core team currently holds any ICF credentials.
Next GIna DeVee issued a statement that she had decided to 'forgo ICF accreditation." By this time we were half through The Academy program. Then when people started asking for a refund she made a vague promise that she would in the future apply after all once she would get certified herself.
Requests for refunds are denied by Faithworks Coaching and Seminars, LLC even though they did not fulfill the services promised.
There are other irregularities of what I experienced as this company's underhanded conduct. to silence anyone trying to speak up about their unsavory dealings. I cannot disclose these here in fear of being subjected to additional bullying, harassment and silencing techniques..
I wonder, did I sign up for a cult-like experience when I sign up for this program?
I lost thousands of dollars when I sign up for a program that did not deliver on its promises. In addition I experienced considerable emotional distress.

I had signed up enthusiastically only to experience the pain and losses when finding out that they are not what they appear to be.
Would I sign up for this program again? The answer is a resounding NO!

I am in the Academy and I have had a chance to speak with her only a couple times on the LIVE Calls. I have found her coaching style to be brash and rude. She does not use nor exhibit the ICF standard questions when coaching. I have found the Academy to be a good experience for the employees and the community, but Gina Devee is inconsistent in having a professional coaching feedback and her coaching, in my personal experience with her does not exhibit any of the ICF standards nor care that a coach should have for a clients.
