The UPS Store service

Time and Time again this store has proven not to care about customer service. I have had a rush delivery of an item that I would be using for my business to be delivered on Saturday 10/28/17. I have a box I lease from this location. I arrive to pick up my order item and make sure to look online to confirm my package has arrived. I enter store to find out that the clerk has decided not to help and first states the package is not at the store. I show him on my phone that the package is at the store. He then decides to say he will not help and I would have to wait till Monday to receive my package. I explained how important it is for me to have this and I paid extra to have this package for my business. He says he will not help or look for my package. I look up the reviews of this store and find out how many people have complained about poor customer service. How do you not help your loyal customer who rent a box and rely on your services to keep there business going? How does a business that represents your brand get away with such bad services? I would like to hear what you say about this and how you keep letting this local franchise represent UPS. This store is located UPS store in Sedona, 2370 AZ-89A #11, Sedona, AZ 86336

Thank you for your time

The UPS Store expedited international shipping service

Worst UPS Store I ever worked with. Absolute unethical people. Because of their wrong commitment my immigration package never got delivered and when I asked them to return my package and refund the money if they cant deliver, they said the package is at their UPS Hub and will be in the store for pick up in a day which never happened.

So overall I was on calls with the store reps for 2 consecutive days, over 2 hours with UPS corporate customer services and 4 store visits to get my confidential documents back and refund which never happened

NEVER VISIT THIS STORE AGAIN & Please save your money and find a better place.

The UPS Store business misconduct

On 09/02/17, I went to UPS Store #2918 at 570 Piermont Rd, Closter, NJ [protected] to mail eight boxes containing books to Fair Oaks, CA 95628. Some of the books were rare and expensive.
The store manager (or employee) Mr. James J. Kim told me the boxes were old and may fall apart on the way. He suggested I pay 35 dollars for new boxes and he would change them for me. He issued eight UPS labels and I paid 517.69 dollars for the shipping fee. .
After almost ten days UPS delivered three boxes to the Fair Oaks address. Two more boxes were delivered later. The books were delivered in the old boxes.
I called James about the other three boxes and the fact that the books were sent in the same old boxes, one of which was badly damaged. James said he moved the books around and was able to put them all in five boxes. I asked about the 35 dollars I paid for the new boxes, he said he took it as the fee for taping the old boxes.
I can not tell titles of of all my books but there is an old and expensive book that I distinctly recall is missing. It is called The Book of King. It is a large size book in Persian language. I suppose there may be other books, which may be missing.

The UPS Store service I am complaining about

Owners of UPS Store very very rude. Have used this store many and have received nothing but terrible service. This is my first complaint. Went in today to send a package. UPS itself sent me via email a bar code so that the people at the store would be able to print out a return address label for me. The Man Behind the Counter refused to help me. He actually dismissed me. Pushed me aside and took the customer behind me. When I asked him if he was going to help me he said no. Go home. Get a label and come back with the label on the package. I told him this barcode as it read, was from UPS and stated that he could scan it and get all the information for my label. He refused. I told him he was rude and nasty. He only said when I have my label to come back. This is the UPS Store on 923 Saw Mill River Road Ardsley New York [protected]. They need to learn customer relations.

The UPS Store all around service.

This about the Milpitas, California UPS Store on Calaveras. I've been there twice and have been met with a surly employee and an owner who seems oblivious. I would have just blown it off but I was looking for fingerprint services and when I clicked on this store the Yelp complaints were many and consistent.

I just want to make you aware so you can counsel this franchise which ultimately gives a bad name to all the others. I've been to many in many states and all have ranged from ok to fantastic. This is by far the worst UPS Store ever. Also worse than any Fedex store.

The UPS Store fraud and blackmail

UPS is trying to blackmail me. I took some boxes to their location to ship to my new address. They gave me a quote and said they would have to get the actual price and would call me back the next day. Numerous days go by. I have to keep calling them. They rarely call me or return my calls. They finally give me a price 3 times the original quote.

This can't be right so I go with a third party shipping company that uses UPS as a drop off location. I go to the store to try to put the labels on the guy tells me they are at a warehouse. He won't give me any more information about my boxes but says to give him the labels so he can give it to the driver.
I call the next day because they aren't shipped via the tracking number. He tells me not to worry the system will update the status. I call back the next day and they refuse to take my call until the very end of the day. They tell me the boxes weren't shipped the the third party shipper and they will have to find out why.
I am out of the country now and they say i have to pay them storage fees which were never disclosed. He refuses to provide any information about my boxes(tracking numbers, location) and refuses to provide an invoice/bill for the warehouse charges.

How fraudulent can you get? Quote one number then charge another. Non disclosure of charges and hold property hostage for payment. Non disclosure of billing or invoice. UPS is a scam.

The UPS Store unsafe driving

At 7:08pm on Wednesday, September 13th, in Jasper, Alabama, down Skyline Circle a delivery was made to my neighbor and the truck was speeding very fast down Skyline Circle which is a very short road, and gravel. He should not have been driving over 15 miles per hour, and he was doing 35 -40!
I came outside because he had to come past my home once again hoping he would slow down, never happened. This is a residence only road, no through traffic, so you understand this is reckless driving. I want something done about what just happened, and when you are finished with your investigation I want to be contacted by phone at 205.388.1569, or I will get son at Walker county sheriffs dept to handle it, thank you for your attention to this matter,
Joseph Harry.

The UPS Store release of package to wrong customer

I had a package delivered to the UPS store at 5758 Geary Blvd. in San Francisco. It was delivered there on 9/8, I was sent a notification that it was picked up on 9/9. I called immediately the UPS number listed and they called the store to see what happened. They said they believed the package was just misplaced and they would look for it. I went to the store on 9/12 to pick it up. They couldn't find it and when they went to look it up on the computer they said it was picked up by me. I said I did not pick it up and didn't they check the i.d. of the person that did take it? Since I had picked up a package the previous week they looked at the signatures and sure enough they did not match. They didn't seem to care much that they gave my package away to the wrong person. Of the 3 people there, they each said they weren't working that day so couldn't say what happened. There were no apologies, no help whatsoever. They told me to go and call UPS and put in a claim. What kind of service is that? Since my credit card info is on the receipt in the package, I had to call and have my account closed and new card issued and have tell them to put in a claim to UPS about the loss package. This is really crappy customer service, I would have had a better chance if I had had my package left on my doorstep. There was absolutely no accountability. I believe there should be some type of restitution.

The UPS Store part of packed item missing. delivery not completed probably.

I paid UPS to pack and ship a 1946 family album. Part of the album was detached. I particularly wound string around the part that was missing so the packer would know that was to be sent with the album. The packer removed the string and I assume dispose of the part of the album that was detached. The was a 1946 family album that cannot be replaced. I had planned to have it repaired and now the part is missing and there is no way that it can be repaired. The album is irreplaceable. I have not idea why the packer would detached the part of the album that was tied to the album to indicate that it would be sent. As I've said the album is unreplaceable.

Secondly, we were told that our packages would arrived at a certain date and time. We waited for the package to arrived. We happened to go outside to find that the driver had left a message that we were not home and so could not deliver the package. The driver put the message on our garage. The driver did not knock on the door or ring the bell but just left the message on the garage. We called UPS since it had only been about 10 minutes that the driver had left the message. Since the driver would have still been close to the house we thought he could return to the house and deliver the package. We would told we would received a phone call in an hour to be told what time the packages would be delivered that day. We waited the hour and did not received a phone call. We call again and were told the same thing - that we would be called in an hour and told what time the packages would delivered in the same day. We did not receive the second call. We call again and were told that we would not be receiving the package that day and that we would be transferred to Accounting for a refund. When we were transferred we found out that Accounting was closed. The person that transferred us should have know that. We are asking for a refund for the packages and are also asking for compensation for the album that now cannot be repaired because a part of it was missing. There were two packages. The tacking numbers are the following: 1Z62263W4291633841 (this is the package with the missing part of the album); 1Z62263W4291636473 (these were the packages that did not arrive on the day it was scheduled to arrive; the driver left the note on the garage and did not ring the bell or knock on the door). These packages were to be delivered on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. We had to pick up the packages the next day the UPS store.

The UPS Store 1z3780426695003990

I shipped this package as overnight to Santo Domingo on August 21st. It was held in customs because according to them the value of package was less than value of the merchandise which was a samsung galaxy s6 cell phone, 2 house phones and 2 cell phone cases. Numerous emails have been sent and the supervisor in the Dominican Republic, Keyla Vargas has yet to give me a final fee of what i need to pay to get my package.

My father is 88 years old with Alzheimer's and had a total hip replacement surgery. My mother cannot leave the house as she is caring for him. I am now myself in the Dominican republic and they won't release the package. This is an urgent matter and needs to be escalated. The way it has been handled is unacceptable. Please let me know what can be done.

Thank you

The UPS Store customer service and refund policy

I shipped a package at this UPS store last month; I had my name and address clearly written down as the shipper. Low and behold after reviewing the shipping information, I noticed that my name and address was misspelled. I politely requested that it be corrected because there was a refund associated with the shipment and I didn't want any confusion. The clerk told me not to worry because my name and address was only for the store's information and the receiver wouldn't see it. The clerk told me that they would correct my information the next time I came in to ship a package. Well; a couple of days ago, I shipped two packages to the same retailer. I provided my Driver's License to the clerk so he could update my name and address. I couldn't believe it! My name and address was incorrectly input into the system AGAIN! And again; I was told not to worry about it because it was only for the store's information.
In the meantime; one of the packages got diverted and it was delivered a day late. I called the store and wanted a shipping refund for the package that was delivered late (UPS has a guaranteed delivery refund if the package is delivered late due to a UPS problem). The store told me that I didn't have to do anything; they would handle everything for me. Great! Not so; it seems that UPS sends out a check to the name and address that the UPS store has on file. I was very upset about this and I was also upset because the store told me they would call me around 8:00 A.M. to give me a status update. They never did! I went back to this store and asked for a copy of the refund papers and or a claim or reference number for my refund. The clerk told me that I was not entitled to this information because they were the ones that initiated the refund. The clerk told me that he personally called UPS corporate and updated the system information with the correct spelling of my name and with my correct address. I was still furious; so I called the UPS Corporate Headquarters in California [protected]) to file a complaint against this particular store.
When I called, I got a regular UPS representative. I asked her to do a warm transfer to the Corporate Headquarters for me. She was very polite, emphatic, and very efficient ( a credit to UPS). Anyway; I spoke with a person by the name of Steve in California. He also is a credit to UPS! Steve accessed my information in the UPS database and low and behold the clerk at the UPS store LIED to me... He never updated my information. Steve was very concerned about this and personally contacted the store to make sure all my information was correct. Anyway; after all that, Steve told me that I should expect a refund check with my name and address listed correctly on the check. I would NOT RECOMMEND this store to anyone. In my opinion, Corporate UPS should revoke this store's franchise. This store is only hurting the unblemished reputation of UPS itself. I personally will never ship from this store again.

The UPS Store bad service - collier pa ups store washington pike

Good evening.
I visited the UPS Store located in Collier PA ., Washington Pike on August 9, 2017 at approximately 6:30 p.m. I was returning 2 items to Amazon.

When I entered the store I had 2 boxes that were not taped. I paid extra to Amazon for the item labels to be printed at the store. When I approached the counter...there was 1 man that appeared to be working. He did not greet me. He moved some boxes aside but still said nothing to me. I placed my boxes on the counter and explained that I had the email with the scanner emblem for him to scan for the label. He said nothing. He scanned my code, printed the label, sealed the box...and moved on to the next one. Then he charged me 2 dollars for not having my boxes ready. I asked him if this were new that I was being charged to tape the box. He grunted and then harshly said that I didn't have my boxes prepared and that was the price. I didn't so much mind that I was charged but I did mind his horrible demeanor. He was unfriendly and was inconsiderate. The man's name was Gregory...I think is last name was Blass. I had a bad day today as well...but I did not treat anyone with the lack of respect that this person did. Oh...and one more thing...I did not receive a receipt for my packages. By the time I had realized it...I was not going to go back and deal with him again.

The UPS Store unethical behavior

I refer to your store on 6538 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach FL, 33141.

I needed to returned a product to Amazon but my printer was out of ink so o decided to use the service provided by you. Once I reach the store I see this big informative poster right on the screen of the desktop and I see a laptop just besides, so even when is showing the price, etc. I decided to ask the clerk if I should use the other one because it was really confusing. It looked more like blocking the computer than inviting to use it. It even looked like sticked to the computer, so he proceeds in an unkind way to tell me that I should use the desktop and that I should use my common sense too. Excuse me? I don't work here the first thing I see it is something blocking the computer so I don't know if is the way to inform the computer is out of order and I am just asking as a client and in a good manner and you treat me like I'm stupid? When the manager comes out I tell him that I'm tired of rude employees everywhere in Miami so he proceeds to tell me, "The only thing I can tell you is welcome to America", so America mistreat clients in a regular basis and that we have to accept it? Let me say this, after the argument I went to the one in South Beach, 1521 Alton Road and the informative poster was on the wall right just behind the computer and that is common sense. They treated me like a stupid person and I seriously think you should invite them to use the common sense before treating the client like a stupid.

The UPS Store sure id

Hi, today we visited your Westlake store #4296
4607 Lakeview Canyon Road
West lake Village, CA 91361

We completed our online application and we were instructed to visit this location near us to finalize the fingerprint process. John, older male, was the person that assisted us and he was under the impression that his left hand (fingerprints) was to be used for the system instead of ours. We followed his instructions at first. He fingerprinted his left hand, then my wife's right hand, thumbs, then rolled all of her fingers. Before finalizing the process we asked him why it didn't ask for my wife's left hand. He insisted that the SureID wanted the technician's left hand for comparison with the customer's, however, how is a comparison made when the customer's left hand was never taken? We asked him to go back to the beginning all the while he insisted he did it correctly. We read the instructions at the beginning and it did not ask for the technician's hand it said for the technician to assist with applying pressure. After deleting the Tech's left hand we ran my wife's left hand and finished the process. I feel that he may have inadvertently used his left hand for many customers since it seems we just caught this issue!

The UPS Store drivers

Every time a delivery is on stoney run in Keyser wv the driver flies up the dirt hill flinging rocks all over people's cars. This is getting out of control. We have small children and pets that play on that DIRT road. Many of us have said things before. One more time he throws rocks on my vehicles I will be contacting the insurance company. The speed limit is 5 on the not 25. Nevermind to mention that our packages always end up at each other's houses. Or laying in the middle of driveway. We as in the neighborhood have asked drivers to slow down. We have put signs in yard saying package delivery expected here today. All kinds of things to hell and this is the thanks we get

The UPS Store incompetent, unprofessional behavior, lost mail, closed during business hours

Impossible to rate the service at the place. This location has a new owner and this place is frequently closed during business hours so you can't pick up packages or have access to your packages or special deliveries. Packages and mail go unaccounted for and put in to wrong slots or simply lost. The owner at this store is incompetent and does not know how to run this business. No accountability. I had a check hand delivered there yesterday 7/31/17 by law office and the manager David Goldfor signed for it and it was not in my mailbox today 8/1/17 at 10 am and he has no idea what he did with it. Once I got to the office I checked and noticed check was missing so I called him. He had me on hold for 20 minutes and while I was on the line he began screaming obscenities in the background like he was having a nervous breakdown.
I must cancel my P O box there immediately. I have had it there for over 15 years and I loved it but this person is seriously a liability. I am contacting better business bureau next.

The UPS Store damaged package that was insured

I brought 15 Art Deco tiles into UPS store number 1104 and asked them to bubble wrap, pack, insure and ship the items. I paid for all the services and the insurance. The tiles were damaged in shipping and the box was returned to the UPS store damaged and crushed. They are now refusing to pay my insurance claim stating that I insisted that they pack this in my box. This was not true, I could care less which box they packed it in and would've gladly paid for any box had they told me it would void the insurance. They simply asked me if I wanted to use my box, and I told them sure if it's OK with you. They are also stating that I told them to only bubble wrap the items once which is not true. I relied on UPS to be the shipping experts and they blew it! Now I find it unbelievable that they won't pay in insurance claim which I paid extra for.

The UPS Store rude clerk at the ups store, 3936 s semoran blvd, orlando, fl 32822

My husband and I asked to borrow the computer. The young man asked what for. We said we had to print something. The young man told us $1.00 per page. My husband followed young man to the computer and proceeded to search and printed 1 page but we needed more. I asked the young man for help because the computer wounld not print anymore. The young man hit print and discovered that the COMPUTER WAS OUT OF PAPER! The young man added paper and the printing began, ALL 78 PAGES WERE PRINTING! My husband told young man to stop/cancel the printing. The young man said NO! That it was my husbands fult and that he had to pay for it all. Through the yelling I asked if there was anything he could do for us (I did not realizing it was that many papers). My husband said he wasn't paying that much money. The young man blamed my husband and kick us out. How embarrassing! We've been using The UPS Store from Pooler, GA to Lee Vista in Orlando, FL. We've never experienced the disrespectful behavior this yooung man showed us. There is a witness, his co-worker who look as shocked as we were. Also, check your videos on 7/18/17 at about 6 PM. I understand that the area can be a little rough but you should not treat your customers like this. It was our first and last time visiting this location.
