The Property Place (Management Group) signed a contract with us citing that if we were to purchase a Timeshare at Vallarta Gardens through the World Residence Club (It was through them that we were introduced to this rental company), that they (The Property Place) would purchase our other 2 timeshares, and also, rent out any or all of the weeks that we were not going to use. This was to be completed within a 120 day window. To date it has been well over that and we are still being given the runaround, not to mention, that if you are lucky enough to receive a correspondence from them, it will be via another agent who will assure you that he (she) needs to familiarize themselves with the contract and that they will get back to you on the status of the account. Ya right!

Greg Bloom (ex employee) of Vallarta Gardens has submitted a case with the magistrate in Mexico and is awaiting as to whether or not they will make a case. DO NOT even attempt to get in touch with The Property Place because they are in on the scam as well. We were just contacted by them after the agreed upon time-frame for payment of our other Timeshares, and of course they want more money up front before they will release the funds to us. We asked them to get their corporate lawyer to contact our lawyer BEFORE any money was to be exchanged, and also that our lawyer would not only investigate their lawyer but would check with the bank that was to prepare the certified cheque that there was indeed funds in the account. We haven't heard back from them since despite the fact that they now want the 10% that they supposedly put down. I told them to file a claim with PROFECO, in Mexico as that is where the original contract was signed. It will do you no good to contact your BBB or anyone else (I did) because nothing transpired in your home state therefore complaining to Mexican authorities is your only option. I contacted all the judiciary officials in Jalisco with a letter of complaint and also put notice in on TripAdvisor to warn everyone. Haven't heard anything back yet except that my complaints have been filed. Do a charge-back with your credit card company, detailing what transpired and how services were never completed, but were actually fraud. Also, complain to the Federal Trades Commission as they will gather all information to see if there is indeed a case of fraud. I complained to even the Governor of Florida but as l said the contract was originally signed in Mexico. Good Luck. Let me know how you make out or email me at fjenny16@yahoo.com and l will forward the email addresses that took me over a month of research to find.

We just went to the sales presentation on Monday, 4 days ago. We were initially offered 4 weeks for 25 years I.e., 1000 weeks for $30, 000.00. After all was said and done, their final offer was $4000.00 for 1000 weeks. Is this a scam? If so, what's the scam? They now call it Boutique Residence Club.

The scamming still continues with Vallarta Gardens. Lloyd Parish and Jeff Johnson seem to be at the forefront. Mr. Parish was our salesman and after the 's---' hit the fan Mr. Johnson got involved. Same scenario as others - guaranteed sale of your timeshare within a time period and you buy from Vallarta Gardens. It's all a scam. Our guarantor, Berkshire Financial Group, turned off their phones and website about one month after I had heated conversations with them. The Vallarta Gardens people are no better. Try to get in touch with one of the high level people and unless you are willing to pay more money they will not talk to you. So, my advice to any one who is thinking of going to a presentation at Vallarta Gardens is to STAY AWAY no matter what they offer you.

It upsets me that they are still getting away with this. I actually described the whole situation that happened to us last July in my post to Trip Advisor and they closed the post shortly after I wrote it. Not sure why. I hope there is a place now that people can check and see that they are operating a scam at Vallarta Gardens. I feel like picketing the place next summer when we return to P.V. I am going to check it out to see if they have built the new beach side villas that supposedly would have been ours. Again, I don't know how these people sleep at night.

Presently, I have a complaint/file with PROFECO, in Mexico. The case is to go before the courts in April so l will need to see what happens. By the way, the parent company of World Residence Club is "Luxurious Packages Palmida. Please file a claim with PROFECO and let them know that you too have been scammed by the World Residence Club. Also, l believe that they are now operating under another name while still at Vallarta Gardens. I have contacted the person who recently wrote and posted a complaint against Vallarta Gardens on TripAdvisor. Look it up under Timeshare Scams. I will let everyone know the results after my case goes to court...but in the meantime...file a grievance with PROFECO!

My husband and I are in the same situation. We purchased at Vallarta Gardens with the agreement that they would purchase our other time share or our contract would be Null and Void. The Property Place wanted more money and wanted us to send it to a bank in Mexico which we refused to do. Our credit card companies originally said they would credit back our money which they did until the bank in Mexico that collected it disputed the matter and said they were just the "middle man". I've also been in contact with World Residence club and have come up with no resolution. I want to continue to fight this but not sure how to go about it. If any one has any luck please pass on the information. Maybe if enough of us file complaints someone in Mexico will respond.

I have almost exactly the same problem! Has Vallarta Gardens been of any help? I can't even get through to any of the property place site phone numbers anymore. I s thinking of calling the attorney general for the state of California?
