Well I have maybe some helpful information. After much more research, and being in contact with another attorney in this industry, I have found out that as far as Patrick Drury, he is basically innocent. The checks that bounced did have Patrick's name os them, but they where not from patrick's office. what most people do not see is that these attorney's really had nothing to do with anything, they where just names. Neither the office in Flrida nor Illinois ever did the laon mitigating (processing) Only Arizona which is not an attorney's office, and they are outsourced by several attorney's offices, and other loan mod companies. Not just Patrick Drury, Chastain & Etcheson, Keith Sanders, TMMLG etc... The person behind all of this mess with all the attorney's has been careful to do business this way so his name doesnt get out, but Everyone can blame Mr. William Kane. who runs the entire operation. Patrick as well as Chastain & etcheson caught wind of the shady practices, and pulled out, but not before William Kane made sure thier names where dragged through the mud. Not everyone is going to get a modification. Beneficial, Vanderbilt do not do laon modifications only 6 months forebearance PERIOD. If you are with either lenders before you pay the new "attorney's" Sanders Law make sure you get actual recent closed cases from both lenders to prove that they can get actual loan modifications from these lenders. Bank of america you must be 60 days behind before they will even look at modifying loans. American General the "sales" person or mitigator which ever (before you pay any money) if they need to call the branch that the loan originated from to make sure they will modify the loan first. HSBC is the worst and they are set up guidelines so strict that most people do not get any assistance at all. They only use debt that originated before the loan originated which means credit cards, car payments, other loans, 2nd mortgages, child support or alimony. And they will not use cell phones or internet as a debt becuase it is not a nessecity. so if these debts where aquired after the loan forget about getting help from HSBC. USDA only does re-payment plans no loans modifications. Yes maybe this new law group can work with these lenders, but it doesnt mean they wll get loan modifications, and how William Kane gets around this is by dragging the process out, and when it gets to hot Changing Names. So you all can go on blaming the other attorney's but the real problem still exists and is still in business with a new attorney, so more people just like you will be lied to and taken. There are other attorneys' out there that actually do loan modificatiosn in house, and will be up front with what your lender is going to offer. I see complaints as not everyone is going to be satisfied, but if Mr, Kane is honest from the beginning then your homes may have been saved. Oh also if you have a sale date within 30 days DO NOT CALL SANDERS LAW or really any Loan modification attorney out side of your state. YOUR HOUSE WILL NOT BE SAVED. Get a foreclsoure defense attorney in your area, then maybe you will have a chance, but it is best to do so when you ahve the 20 day summons to accelerate.
