Kroger poor service

3:40am - went to kroger to get a frozen pizza. chose one, went to the checkout. only USCAN machines were open. scanned my one item (frozen pizza). the total bill is $6.58. I put in a $20 bill for payment. The machine gives me back 2 5's and a 1. ($11.00) -- and says something like "See cashier" or "see attendant" or something. I stand next to the attendant station until someone comes to see why I'm standing there (another 5 minutes or so). I explain that they still owe me $2.42. The attendant says I will have to come back in an hour when the manager is here to get my change. I tell her that is unacceptable and that I wish to speak to a manager. Some manager comes. His last name starts with an N (I forget). I tell him I just want my change, and he says that is not possible. Repeats the same crap about me needing to wait for the store manager that comes in at 5am. I explain to him that I have a flight to catch and would he please stop messing around and either give me my change or a refund (my pizza is thawing out). He refuses to refund my money and will not give me any change. I have worked at a grocery store before and I know the attendant has a till and could easily give me my change and be done with it. I ask him for the number for the corporate office. He leaves and does not return for another 20 minutes. He gives me some customer service number that doesn't let me talk to anyone. I have now been standing there for 45 minutes and no one will help me. My driver is getting upset because we need to leave soon or I will miss my flight. Finally the store manager (Sandy) shows up at 5am and refunds my order from the till that was there the whole time. She offers no apology and is visibly annoyed that I no longer want the item. I am now an hour behind schedule, hungry, and extremely angry.

I had a bad customer service experience. Kroger store sold me outdated cheese with mold on it ; I was dissatisfied with this purchase no one would exchange the cheese from this store (9155 Mansfield rd) I had to go to another one on and because I ask the cashier to tell me why she can't exchange the outdated cheese the office got loud with me and told me to get out the store.

Kroger precription filled

I drop My prescriptions off at 4:00 pm on 6/15/09 and they told me it would be 2 1/2 hour wait, they ask me if I wanted to come back and pick it up they said it would be ready at 7:00 pm I said OK we left. We return at 8:00 pm because I know they close at 9:00 pm which I live on the western end of town and this Kroger was on the Southern end of town, I had other med filled there before, I waited in this area for four hour thinking I was going to get my med. when I got there they informed me that they had not filled my Med, what he said to me was I'm sorry it was to many to fill, and we had a load of Med to fill. So what they were telling me was because I had 6 prescription my med was not importance so they filled all the small Med first. This to me is unacceptable. I will go Higher to get this address because I'm with out Med. until I get off work today, I don't get off work until 5:00 am I had to be in at 6:30 and the Pharmacy is not open at that time.

Today is March 28th 2018. The store number is #763. I want to file an official complaint against an employee at this store named "Kennette" who by far has to be one of the rudest employees this store has. My name is Saundra Mucker. I have been shopping at Kroger stores in Louisville for well over 30 years. I've been shopping at the Kroger on 35th street- Store number- #763 since it was built (less than six years ago). You have an excellent Pharmacist Manager- Charles Taylor and an excellent and kind technician who has been there several years named JENEEN. However that's where the satisfaction ends. You have a very rude employee named "Kennette" who is very rude and condescending to the customers. My husband (83 years old) had all his teeth pulled today and implants inserted and I (62 years old) had my teeth pulled but was unable to receive my implants today. My husband and I went to Kroger Pharmacy around 3:10 pm to get our Diabetic prescriptions filled as well as our prescriptions for pain from the dentist. When we arrived "Kennette" was huffing and puffing and frowning as she slammed the window/tray forward and gruffly asked us "what do you need". My mouth was very bloody and backed with gauze as was my husbands. I asked her how long it would take to fill our prescriptions she said "about two or three hours" I told her that we had come from the dentist and asked if she could fill one of the pain medications and allow us to come back for the other ones because our mouths were not numb anymore. "Kennette" slammed "all" the two prescriptions and two diabetic med bottles back through the window and said "you can take "em somewhere else". I told her I can't make it anywhere else "I barely drove here"and told her "I'm not trying to get one filled if that's not what you do but why is she treating me this way?" I asked to speak to the manager. It was then I saw the nice technician pass (Jeneen) who always carry's herself in a professional way. I waved to her to please come to the window and she did. I asked Jeneen to look at me and Percy cause she knows us very well and I asked her to please help us. It was then that "Kennethe" said started laughing at me and said, "I'm waiting on you not her". The manager came over and I explained to him what was going on and asked him if "Jeneen could please help me". I told him that I have NEVER had any problems at this store and ask him to please allow Jeneen to help me because she knows how to treat people. He took the time himself to enter the prescriptions in the computer and told me they would be ready at 5:30pm. I asked for the store and the names of all parties because he shouldn't have had to take time from filling prescriptions to intervene for a bad employee. I remember Charles Taylor from when he did his internship at Park DuValle Community Health Center (where I retired). He was a fine pharmacist then and an even greater one now. However, management can only survive, thrive or die through the strength (or lack thereof )of the "front line" staff.
We don't have that many food sources or pharmacy choices in this area, but just because we don't doesn't mean we should be treated less than. Many of my fellow seniors do not have transportation or reliable relatives to help them. My husband of 35 years and I do. We shop at Kroger because we want to and we love the Kroger brand. Please help us. We left our prescriptions at the store and will pick them up this evening.

Kroger Pharmacy, 350 E Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609.

Unprofessional staff, inability to manage prescription medications, indifference to patient’s medical conditions and needs.
I have been with this pharmacy for over a year and experienced numerous issues with medication refills. Last visit exhausted my patience. Although the location is convenient for me, I am transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. Here are the reasons:
1. Refills are always late / my medication was not in stock. Even if I called 7-10 days in advance, they managed not to have it on time. Kroger Pharmacy excuse – someone else in this pharmacy uses the same medications. I have several active prescriptions for different doses and they still could not manage their inventory.

2. False and misleading information on RX insurance coverage, use of medication discounts and medication availability due to unprofessionalism, lack of knowledge and lack of desire to address customer needs/medical conditions. No apology. No advise or promise to manage my refills efficiently.

3. Very nice lady pharmacist ( who was the reason I stayed with Kroger RX) set me up with a automatic refills and the next month I got my medications on time. BUT the following month my auto refill was cancelled for 2 medications! When inquiring about my refills, RX assistant lied into my face saying that it was my fault that I did not pickup my RX on time and they had to put it back. After checking the system, she realized it’s was not correct information and they never refilled RX. Never apologized. She could not give me a clear explanation why my auto refills were cancelled as well. The pharmacist (male) heard the whole conversation and never came to address it.

4. When inquired about prescriptions transfers, I got a reply – “you call us, we’ll do it”. Horrible customer service. They do not care about company profit as well not recognizing a link between customers, pharmacy profit and their employment.

I have to give credit to two employees of Kroger Pharmacy – Shawn who was always helpful, professional and always willing to make an extra step for a customer and lady pharmacist (brunet, not very tall). They were the reason I stayed there for so long. All others are disgrace to the pharmacist profession.
Be prepared to double check information, struggle to get a refill and do not expect understanding and professional care when going to Kroger Pharmacy, 350 E Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609.

To Customer Complaint Department:

My name is Amado Velasco of Plano, Texas USA and a loyal customer of Groger groceries and pharmacy and I got a complaint regarding my Cialis prescription at Groger pharmacy in Plano Tx store: [protected]. On Feb. 27, I got a Cialis precription for 6 pcs but when I open the container for first time use last night 18 days later, there are only 4 pcs in the container. I went to the store today Mar. 15 and complan and they say their inventory was correct. Bottom line is I paid that prescription for $40+ and got only four tablets. Not acceptable. Hope your company can do about it for little guy like me. Thanks.

I work in a Kroger Pharmacy and this should have never happened. There is a policy(at least in our division) that if there are any problems we are to try and contact the patient to let them know. And if they knew when you were coming back, you should have been filled by then. No matter how busy they are, they said it would be 2 1/2 hours, which if you dropped them off at 4 would be 6:30. That means if you said 7, you were only giving them an extra 1/2 hour, so why would they not fill them as if you were just hanging out at the store waiting on them?

Kroger - slow cashiers & annoying baggers

Since I have moved to goshen, I have always hated going to the local kroger. I work third shift at one of the warehouses down in milford, and I stop in this kroger generally 3-5 times a week. I used to like it, but now I can't stand it due to a few cashiers and baggers. First off, there is this very short woman, probably in her mid sixties. I believe her...

Kroger this involves two complaints - two separate times - at the same store

I purchased a frozen turkey at kroger (approx. 14lbs) and set it in cold water to thaw so I could cook it the day after. When I opened the turkey it was still partially frozen but smelled terrible.

I called the store and they told me I could bring it in for exchange.

When I went in to get another one I could not find one that was in the same size/price range as the one I was returning, and also noticed the paper was torn on another turkey- when I looked closer I could see the skin looked old, dried up, or freezer burned.

I decided I would just get some other groceries that amout to the same I paid for the turkey.

When I went to check out with groceries that totaled more than the amount they owed me, they refused to allow me to use my money that way. They said it had to be another turkey- I told them about the size/price/ and condition of those turkeys and I did not want one. They said I would have to call the next day to speak with another manager about it.

So far I am sitting without my turkey, without my money (almost $17.00), and have been inconvenienced with my time, and cost of gas to travel back and forth to their store for nothing. So far I am up to putting 35 miles on my car for this rediculous handling of the situation.

Three days later and I am sitting here waiting for management to call me back to see what they are going to do about it. I will not accept anything less than my money back, or to buy groceries of my own choice that total the amount I lost. This of course will cost me even more time and money since I have to drive back and forth once again. I'm sure it would be ludicrous of me to think they might do something to make up for extra inconvenience, aggravation, and money this is costing me traveling back and forth.

Still waiting ...

-------------------

I didn't complain about this other incident, but I was really angry about it. It involved both of my daughters ...

My eldest daughter, at 30 years of age, married and with 3 children .. visited the same kroger to buy food for a cookout, and some beer for her husband.

My younger daughter (17 yrs) was with her.

At the checkout, the casier told my daughter she was not going to let her buy the beer. When she asked "why not" the cashier told her it was because my other daughter was under age!

My daughter told her, look I am 30 years old as you can see on my ID and it is perfectly legal for me to buy beer. I come in here with my children that are much younger than my sister and have never been refused the right to purchase beer!

The casher simply told her, well I don't feel comfortable with it!

All the manager had to say about it was that if the cashier doesnt feel comfortable selling the beer then she can refuse to do so.

There was absolutely no reason for their behavior in that store. They humiliated my daughter with a line of people behind her and it was completely uncalled for.

So a cashier that is having a bad day can take her mood out on customers by embarrassing them and refusing to sell a 30 year old beer!
-------------------

I'll wait on my turkey ordeal and then I think I am done with this store.. I have been shopping kroger for years and give that store a lot of business on a weekly basis, and have NEVER returned a thing before this.

They do not treat their customers well at all.

I wouldn't have sold her the beer either. Too suspicious looking. Daughter shoulda told sis to stay in the car. Why does she have to tag along anyway? And MOM do either of them have tats, pierced tongues? You don't paint a clear enough picture. Do you know what happens to that union cashier who values that job and its retirement bennies if she sells the kids beer and they get in a wreck? Chill out.
The turkey thing...I'm with ya on that one.

Kroger slow checkout, too few cashiers

I went to my local Kroger at 2:15 to buy pizza, bread, and stamps. The lines waiting for cashiers had several people in them, but the customers had around 20 items. I decided to go through the U-scan to get out quickly. I wanted to buy only 3 items and some stamps, but I had coupons, so they require an attendant to scan my coupons and get stamps. The attendant was busy with someone else. I waited several minutes, but she wasn't going to finish up quickly. Someone else came to help her, but she refused help, saying that she would get me in a minute. I walked away from the groceries that I had already scanned because I couldn't get service. I come to the store to get out quickly, not wait around. They need to retrain their attendants to get customers out quickly and to accept the help if offered. They need more than 3 cashiers on duty at 2 in the afternoon. They need to call someone from customer service when an issue comes up that will take time to deal with, rather than causing everyone else to wait. I went to Randall's and get my groceries and stamps. I am shopping at Kroger less and less because I can't get out quickly.

Kroger rude service

I work for a company called Prospect Airport Services (18 years) which has employment available at Metro Airport. I am totally furious with The Kroger store listed above. As we all know these times are bad and people are in desperate need of jobs. For a company of this size to be rude, unprofessional and uncaring is 100% unacceptable. I have called the Kroger Store listed above on several ocassions in the past week including twice today 2/25/2009. Each time I politely state what I need (past employee verification) and request for someone to help in verifing the past employee. Each time I am told I'm being connected to the manager...each time I listen to music for several minutes...each time the phone then rings and rings and rings...then back to music...more ringing...then a pick up...click and disconnected. Even after calling them back today and informing them of what I have been going through the woman who answered offered no apologies...she in fact said nothing after explaining things to her...I simply heard a click and the whole process of trying to talk to a manager started again and ended with a disconnect again.

As I stated above...times are hard...people need jobs...verifications are necessary exspecially at the airport. Families are losing homes...they need employment. Again I can not believe how uncaring and rude this kroger is. I hope I receive a reply on this and I will be looking for it. Hopefully I will not have to pursue this any farther and look foward to hearing from you. Sincerely: Rochelle Foust

Kroger incorrect reading on prescriptions

I had just begun going to the store location a few months ago to get prescriptions filled and the pharmacy techinicians were friendly and accurate. Also, before I left the last tech stated I had one re-fill left before I needed to have the doctors office call another one in.

So, a day before Thanksgiving I went to pick up my prescription all to find out that the pharmacy tech who was there stated she did not see it in the system. The pharmacist who was there also stated the same. I was highly upset with this lack of professionalism. The Pharmacist on duty was Charles and both literally through their hands up and brushed me off.

I asked if they could contact the other tech that relayed it to me and they stated they woul not but, they were doing all that they could which was a lie. The pharmacist was working on other prescriptions and began to talk very rude and inappropraiate to me saying, "We make our living off of this why would we be telling you something that is not true & let me tell you a story about, this & that"

All the Managing Pharmacist by the name of Charles was doing at this time was getting off the subject by trying to hear his self talk about something completely opposite of what I was there for. I was calm and held my composture all the way through. I was not trying have small talk and he said you need to get out and I will have to call the manager. So, I stated, " Good please do so." I explained my situation to the manager and he was alot more responsive, professional, and cooperative.

Then when the shift manager came over to him his whole demeanor changed he was pleasant, nice, and acted as if he'd been professional with me all along when he had not. And began to lie and say he was doing all that he could to help me. When they did nothing.

When the other tech arrived she looked into the system and immediately found the prescription and notes in the system and had my prescription re-filled within no time. How propersterous is that.

Now, what if it was something even more severe where I could not wait. And there were more severe and dire consequences due to a lack of his none responsiveness and lack of professionalism.

He really needs to be strongly reprimanded or removed.

My grandmother gets her meds at Kroger pharmacy on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon, GA. A couple weeks ago, she told me that a young girl behind the counter was "not friendly" towards some customers at the pharmacy. I seldom hear her complain, so I decided to go to the pharmacy with her. Well, my grandma was right. The dark headed girl was very rude to not only my grandma but other customers who were standing before us. When our turn came, she rolled her eyes at my grandma because she couldn't hear her for the first time. One of her meds was not ready like they told me on the phone earlier. When I asked how long my grandma has to wait to get the med, she did a rude loud sigh. I couldn't believe how she treated the customers, and people working with her did not say a word to her to tone down her attitude.

I called a prescription in n Tursday night. I had returned home from vacation on Saturday and was feeling terrible because I was out of my medication. I arrived at the pharmacy and was told my doctor never respondeed to the request. I was sick all week-end since this medication can cause seizurs with out taking. The pharmacist acted as thought there was nothing she could do. Finally Monday I called my doctor and she told me nothing had ever been called in. I almost had to go to the Emergency room because I felt so bad. Wallgreen's I am coming back. Andrew Casper Cordova TN

I agree I live in Michigan and I went to Kroger to fill my new script since they were offering a deal $4 generic pills. I switched to them to save money. It's been a headache and I now have decided never to go bad to them. They have shorted me twice saying that someone must have stole my pills.(for a while I was scared that someone was) The next month I had to count my pills in front of one of the pharamists they filled my script for 60 not 90 liked stated on my paperwork. They also filled my script for the wrong med once too, I'm wondering of they were trying to scam me because the pill was a much cheaper drug then the one I paid for. Stay away from Kroger!

Kroger terrible experience

As a former employee of Kroger, I had taken a few years off to care for my children, one has autism and the other had renal failure. When I felt it safe to return to work, I met with the Customer Service Manager and she explained I would have to go through training, which I did. I also took the oral swab test and indicated on the form which medications I took regularly. Well I worked a couple of weeks and when I came in to pick up my schedule on a Friday. I asked why there was none posted. I was then taken upstairs and told that my test had been sent back 'FAILED'. I was then instructed to call the lab that conducted the test, which I did. They told me if in fact I felt it was an error to go back to the store and have another sample taken, which I did. Mind you the first test was done on May 25th, the second on June the 6th. I keep in contact with the recruiting manager at the store about this and at first she said she could put me back on the schedule if my 2nd test came out alright. I called the lab again and they told me to call Kroger, I keep getting the run around.

Now the recruiting manager tells me that even if my 2nd test is a PASS, its up to the store manager to put me back on the schedule or not. I am sickened by this as I am the mother of 7 and grandmother of close to 3. I am 47 years of age. I have had friends of mine go into the store and be told I quit. Family members have been told I was terminated for failing a drug test. I also have e mails from the recruiting manager telling me that all this information is confidential, but if it were the rumors would not be spreading. This has damaged me, mentally and emotionally to the point I can't even shop there, which by the way was a daily thing for me to do. I also had offered the recruiting manager my detailed hospital report for May 12th, as I had just gotten the itemized statement which she refused to see, even though the lab told me to take it into her. My point is, if I were a drug user, I would have never taken the test in the first place, or attempted to clear my name on the 2nd. If you have any advice out there let me know the lab in question is QUEST LAB/AKA LabCorp.

Additionally I did go to my own doctor on June 6th for my own peace of mine and given a complete clean report, which they again refuse to acknowledge. Whats bad about this is that many companies use the same lab and go by your social security number and can legally tell any potential employer you had a 'FAIL' before.

My 10year old son took a bite and found some black hard thing in it. It freaked him out plus I ate it before he found it. I hope I don't get sick. Thank God I didn't bite it. It would have broke my teeth. Thank God it didn't his either. What is this?

First of all, Labcorp isn't aka Quest Diagnostics.. They are 2 separate reference labs that are infact competitors, not partners. They are both very good labs and offer the highest quality of testing and results.
Secondly, yes they are just everyday people. They have been trained as phlebotomists, and when their 8-9 hour shift is done, they go home to families and their other life. Do you also think teachers live in schools?
Get real. If you can send comments on the internet, you should be able to look up the labs and become enlightened to real life.

"she is a vegetarian - go figure...and tries top tell ME what I should be eating?!?!"

You're clearly of very low intelligence if you think a vegetarian diet is not healthy. Any doctor. ANY doctor will tell you to reduce or completely remove meat from your diet of you want to lower your cholesterol.

Still, go back to your TV dinners and Fox News.

I have used the "LabCrops" before, since they are the ones that are on my insurance to use.

Every time I go in those places, I see a lot of people working there, and all seem to be people that do not look real medically inclined. I mean, that the people in there look like every day people that they taught how to use a sering and take blood and put it into a little bottle.

I realize that THEY do not actually do the testing, but it makes you wonder who they are employing there as well.

I had to take a Cholesterol blood test there twice. The 1st time was extremely high...VERY high - and I know it could not be correct. So I did a 2nd time, and it drop way low. It figures, that the 2nd test was never sent to my Doctor, as the 1st test was. I started to get the run-a-round like I was suppose to play the role of the LabCrop and locate it?!?!

I well enough did not even peruse it. After all, the doctor that was treating me for my high blood pressure was the one that wanted this blood test for Cholesterol and she is a vegetarian - go figure...and tries top tell ME what I should be eating?!?!

Kroger short payment due date

I signed up for the master card that was promoted by Kroger Co.
I returned from a 13 day cruise to find out I owed them a payment the next day by mail. Never have I had such a short time to pay a bill. I called the Master Card and they were not customer-oriented and do not have a grace period nor admit to any responsibility to get their bills mailed in a timely manner and wanted me to pay a $35.00 late charge. I called back and talked to a supervisor and she finally said they had no proof that my bill had gone out timely and would cancel the $35.00 later charge this onetime.

I cancelled the card and will not go to Kroger any more either. Terrible customer service - promotes arguements and no flexibility.

Kroger poor customer service

I refuse to give my hard earned dollars to this store. Not only are the prices just too darn high, but their customer service is the worst. No matter what time of day I go, there are baggers standing around doing nothing-especially not bagging. The cashiers rarely say hello and don't seem interested in my shopping experience. The meat department is the worst. I've spent close to 30 minutes waiting for assistance. Why assist a customer when you can talk about who you're dating and why your ex-wife's sister is so hot. RIDICULOUS! I've tried to support Kroger because I like the fact that they have unionized workers who have decent wages and insurance. I like to see Americans working. However, because of their continued disrespect, poor customer service, and zero service recovery-Wal Mart here I come.

Unfortunately one gets the good and the bad end of the stick when employees are protected by a Union.
One of my good friends works for Kroger. He was caught stealing(He admits this himself)and in one week the union had him back to work at a new location.
Do you have a meat counter at your store. If so I recommend that you buy all your ground beef from the actual meat counter, not the shelf meat. Meat sold at the counter is almost always fresher, and you can purchase whatever amount you need.

Hope ya enjoy WalMart where there is NO meat counter, NO customer service, and your "hard earned dollars" are SENT overseas JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE! If you feel that WalMart is better than anyplace you currently go, you need to think again. That company has a long history of screwing the manufacturer and causing costs to go up to other companies, yet no one has the guts to call them on it. On top of that, they pay jack squat to their employees and have forced off clock overtime in many cases. If you value your "hard earned dollar, " you really need to rethink your strategy. Try a LOCAL meat market, a farmer's market, and so on. Deal with a local electronics provider, clothing store, or whatever. Until you do that, stop complaining about everything!

To the first respondent, WalMart does the same thing, so do just about every other Piggly Wiggly, Dillons, etc as far as packaging. Get a reality check.

The Clute, Texas Signature Krogers has the worst meat market manager that I have run across. He is uncaring of what he has on the shelfs and his attidude with customers is sharp and uncaring. He does not see to it that the meat shelfs are full at all times, and when you ask him for something that is suppose to be on the shelf, it is like so what am I suppose to do. On ground meat he should package two pound packages, but all that is kept is one pound are five pounds. The five pound packages are in the rolls and you can not see what you are getting. For my family the two pound package is perfect.

Kroger - hiring illegals!

I'm tired of going into this Kroger store and trying to communicate with hispanic non english speaking employees. Kroger mistreatment!

My Experience at our local Kroger's, This is what I told Them at they're them I didn't even block out the language that I used with him! I am witting you to let you know that I have every right to have your manager at the Mt. Washington store in the Mt. Washington store in Cincinnati, OH.

arrested. He first accused me in my way of stealing from the store that I have been a patron at 14yrs. I couldn't find my receipt right away he stood over me which frustrated me even more as all the customers where watching and heard what was going on. He went through my bags in the store which is against the law followed me outside almost holding my wheel chair. I told him to ask the girl that took care of me at the self check the machine was messing up. I also told him to check with any employee and see if what they thought. They all know how handicapped I am right down to my brain surgery I told him to take the damm wine back before I went out the store as he irritates me more letting the customers hear even more then followed me out the dour. I did say get the Hell away from me sorry about the language but I want you to know just exactly was said, I also dumped my coffee on the floor as I had that in the store told him I hoped he had to clean it up!

He then stood outside on his cell phone watching me while he called the cops I waved the receipt at him so he could see that I finally found it looked at the receipt said the wine wasn't on it, excuse me that was the only thing I bought. I wanted to take it back after I yelled at him that I'd never come back in he let the whole store hear telling not to come back in that store idiot didn't hear me say I wasn't coming back in. Matter fact none of my friends will either. Next time you let a young kid manage a big store that you ought to check to see if it went to his head, when he told when he first saw me take a couple of bags to put my family dollar suff and my library CD's in the bag the jerk looked though all the bags wanted to see my receipts from that store too! He as much called me a thief in front of every one we all know that store has no alarms my bags as he said didn't set anything off. Good luck with store!

I think his name was Mark or Mike I was too hurt and upset to read it just saw the M mostly. I was in tears I was so upset I've never in my life had the fact that someone thought I was a thief and a lier. It took all night after I took a Valium and a glass of wine which is highly unusual for me. My aide tried to calm me down the next day. I still to this day almost cry when I think about it having trouble even telling you about it. It was on Tuesday last week.

Thank you for listening,
Kathleen B. Hagen.

There are ALWAYS a bunch of men standing around @ the Old National store in College Park, Georgia. Although I have spoken with the manager(s) Mr. Johnson and Mr. Lindsey, repeatedly and know that other women have also, this continues to be an unresolved issue. On 4/11@ 3:40 pm when I entered there were two men. @ 5:00 when I exited there were 5 men. They often stand in front of the pillars so that you have no choice but to walk near/past them when you enter and leave. They ALWAYS have something unnecessary to say and become beligerent if you attempt to ignore them. I feel threatened to enter my neighborhood store and resent having to drive out of my way to get to a store where this is not the norm. There are 3 other Kroger stores within miles of my home and this is the only one where this practice is allowed. The greeter on duty 4/11 has previously told me that he sees nothing wrong with these men hanging around, in fact he is usually engaged in conversation with them. They allegedly are cab drivers trying to get a fare. What they are are loitering and meddling and insulting. This needs to be addressed by management and handled so that women don't have walk the gauntlet to get into THIS store. I've tried to ignore this issue as well as one with the U-Scan cashier, Cecelia, who is beyond rude. I can go to another cashier but there is only one way in and one way out of the store. Now that it's beginning to get warm this situation will expand. I have been a patron of this particular store since it opened. Before I retired from the public school system I was the building rep for my school where we participated in the various community activities @ the store, including but not limited to bag day where the faculty and staff went in and bagged groceries on Saturday once a month. I'm a firm believer in keeping $$$$$ in the community but this situation with these men is intolerable. There is a Mega Wal-Mart across the street and they have nothing like this occurring there. I like Kroger but I can take my business elsewhere if this situation doesn't cease. I've tried to work with the store managers but they also seem to treat this as a female hysteria and don't begin to take it seriously. One of these men is going to attack some woman one day or night and then maybe the Kroger Co. will take some action.

Kroger lost balance transfer!

I asked kroger to transfer a balance from an american express card run out of usaa federal savings bank. They somehow sent a check to american express itself instead of usaa and the money disappeared. My usaa amex doesn't have it, american express won't look for it and kroger says it's up to me to find out what happened to it. Meanwhile i'm out $6000! No one will take responsibility for sending the money to the wrong place, and yet someone cashed the check! This is just too weird. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Kroger - poor customer service!

Kroger is a terrible store. Just as bad as Winn Dixie. Every time I go into a Kroger store the people there are unwilling to help they are rude I hate this store. I wrote them a letter telling them of an experience where I was looking for something and the stock man told me they don't make it anymore, I just couldn't believe it so I kept looking and found...

Kroger Check accept problems!

I went to Kroger Store in my community and for the second time my check was denied. I check with my bank to what was wrong with my checking account and was told I had more than enough to cash a check for my purchase.

Last night I needed to buy food for my sick son and again my check was denied. The register stated Invalid check. After much discussion with the manager it was told to me my checks had the check number in the beginning of my checks instead of the end where the routing number and account number is. I have written thousands of checks to many companies and never had this problem. I ask them to see if any check may have been returned that I didn't know about and they said no checks had been returned. This is the second time this happened to me and it is most embarrassing. I had a basket full of groceries and left it right there for them to put back.

Kroger is selling 15.5 oz pans of prepared corn bread with a "FRESH' label on it.

This is a false claim because they are frozen before being placed on the shelf for sale.
