Home Depot washer and dryer

PRODUCT: WASHER AND DRYER (STAKABLE)
ORDER : [protected]
DATED: JULY 17-2018
MSN & HD PO: ELUX MS: [protected]

I have purchased the washer and dryer including DELIVERY, HAULING OUT OLD UNITS, INSTALLATION OF NEW UNTS AND 4 YEARS INSURANCE.
but Since July 17-2018, Home depot has failed to deliver the unit to our condo.

home depot has scheduled 5 times and all of them has been failed. now the situation is every worse, when i call customer service, they simply tell me it is elevated to higher supervisor but they don't know when it is going to be delivered and installed.

home depot has wasted our time to stay at home about half a day for 5 times since then which this must be compensated.

during this time, we had to send our laundry to dry cleaning which the bills are piling up. the receipts are available which we expect to be compensated by home depot.
We need to know exactly when Home depot will delivery our purchased items (washer and Dryer) to our address as per the purchase order? we cannot accept further delay. otherwise, we will take this complain to local media and court if needed.

Home Depot delivery, installation, follow-up

Never order an appliance from HOME DEPOT.

I ordered a dishwasher over a month ago. Received it 3 days after order. Had their installer put it in - 1 1/2 weeks after delivery as this was the only time he could come. Machine was defective and not working - but there was nothing the installer could do about it. Called Home Depot and was told that if it was 48 hours after delivery, it was the manufacturers problem. Called whirlpool and was told that since it was 10 days post order, it could not be replaced, and had to be fixed. I wanted a new machine - that's what I paid for.

After much screaming and yelling at a number of people, including the Home Depot store - they agreed that it would be considered DEAD ON DELIVERY. They told me that they were doing me a favour by designating this EVEN THOUGH IT WAS. I was told from whirlpool that I would be getting a new machine. I would have to call their installer when I knew a delivery date and then take off time to have the installer remove the new one, get the delivery and then call the installer to come back in and install.

They all know how to pass the buck, but in the meantime - I DON'T HAVE A WORKING DISHWASHER.

HOME DEPOT'S Customer service is atrocious. This was not the first time I have had issues with them (purchased a washer/dryer previously and had delivery issues, then only one machine delivery, and eventually both and installation). I should have learned by lesson. I will never order a large appliance from Home Depot ever again.

Home Depot recently bought amanda washer

I bought an Amanda washer July 29th 2018 in the vineland Home depot. Supposedly on the day of delivery all equipment was included . On August 1st i took a day from work for the delivery. Once the subcontractors from GE got here they could not get the hoses off the spickets and told me to call a plumber . On august 2nd i took a half day from work for a plumber who sprayed the spickets with WD40 and took exactly 3 minutes to free the hoses. They offered to hook up my washer but soon discovered the package holding the hot and cold hoses did not contain washers and there was no drain hose, Since i already paid for all this the Plumbers left and i called Home Depot to complain, According to the sales assistant she made note of this and set up a new delivery date for the earliest date which was now August 9th. That weekend i had to spend a total of $12. at a laundromat. I took another day off from work August 9th for my new washer hookup and the GE subcontractors came with new hot and cold hoses with washers but no drain hose, , they left again. again i called the Vineland home depot and had to drive to the store to pick up a drain hose and they set a new date for installation for August 15th. Now i must again go to a laundromat this weekend and ill be using another day vacation from work for a washer installation, at $47. per hour times 25 hours i am now missing from work plus cost of laundromats. Home depot did remove $50. from my bill for my troubles however, im still using valuable time from work for incompetency of this company. I will not be purchasing another appliance from this company as they can not seem to delivery the entire goods within a reasonable time. and since the $50 was removed from my bill i better not lose my free delivery.

Home Depot lg refrigerator

Purchased a new LG refrigerator for approx $2200, which was delivered on 7/28/18. Since delivery the ice dispenser has not worked. LG sent someone from Sears out, who could not fix the problem. Now Home Depot is giving me the run around and each person at HD that I spoke with has done a poor job of follow through thus far. Back in June I received poor service on a cooktop measurement/installation and that should have been my cue to take my business elsewhere. But instead I purchased over 4K in appliances for my new home and this is the crap that I am having to go through. These folks think you do not have a life and it is very time consuming to spend time on phone, going to store in effort to get the issue resolved.

Home Depot customer service deliverance

Hi, my name is Camille Luna and my grandmother had ordered a Samsung appliance set a few days before July 4th, 2018 which included a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. And just to note that the refrigerator and stove were the only 2 things that were supposed to be installed at the time. I had called and told them that we wanted everything installed so we had paid for the extra 2 appliances to be installed that Monday of the week we were getting this delivered (July 16th). We had this scheduled to be delivered July 21st, Saturday. When the delivery men came to deliver the appliances, he had informed us that there was no where on the paperwork that stated that we were getting all of the appliances installed. Long story short, the delivery men ended up leaving without delivering anything because we weren't about to accept them with only having two appliances installed instead of everything for which we had paid for initially. Come to find out, the delivery men hadn't realized that on the back of his paper it had said that everything was supposed to be installed and they ended up having all of the installation parts in the truck. We had then had to reschedule for another day to have them come back out. They were then scheduled to come out either that following Tuesday or Wednesday (July 24 or July 25). Once they had came out for the second time, they delivered the stove and dishwasher and both of those were installed but they had informed us that the looks of where the refrigerator would go, it seemed to small to fit, height wise. They had measured the fridge inside their truck and then measured the height of where the fridge would go and told us that the fridge was too big to fit. (By the way, we decided not to receive the microwave anymore, because we didn't have an outlet above the stove so it couldn't be placed above it.) So they ended up taking the fridge back and we were under the impression that we had to go get another fridge. We ended up going to Home Depot that same day to find another fridge. We talked to one of the associates there letting her know we needed a smaller fridge to fit in our kitchen. She was kind of confused but decided to help us anyway. Now, our fridge was actually displayed in the store for customers to look at and the associate decided to measure it to see what the problem was. Come to find out that the delivery men measured the top of the fridge where the doors are at, which is taller then the back of the fridge (which the back of the fridge was supposed to be measured, not the front). At this point we were just so frustrated with everything that had been going on. I then got on the phone and spoke to a lady to try and get this fridge delivered back to us. I had mentioned to her that this was going to be the third time that we are going to have this delivery people come to our house and told her to put a complaint in for me regarding this whole experience. I was off from work July 30 and July 31st which were a Monday and Tuesday and asked her if there was any way to deliver this fridge on one of those days and she had said the earliest she had was Wednesday, August 1st. I had then mentioned to her that this has just been a devastating time trying to get our appliances and that no one would be home on that day, so we ended up having it to get it Saturday, August 4th since my husband and I were off on the weekends. We ended up getting the fridge finally delivered and installed. This letter is to express just the terrible service that my husband and I had to experience. The first time for this delivery, Home Depot was blaming the delivery men and the delivery men were blaming Home Depot, the second time it was the delivery men's fault. It really did not have to take 3 times to get this right and successfully delivered to our home. What I did not appreciate was that my husband and I work as well and they wanted to keep trying to deliver during the week which was a big inconvenience to both of us. All of this was supposed to be delivered on the original date, July 21st and took and extra 2 weeks to finally get everything. We are very disappointed and not happy with Home Depot and the delivery people. This is a really bad experience that we went through and at the same time we were in the process of moving to our new home so it made it even more stressful being that Home Depot couldn't make it a pleasant experience for us. We would want some kind of accommodation for this being that this wasn't the service that anybody deserves.

Home Depot fridge received

Hello, my name is Michel Zerey phone [protected]
We ordered and received an LG fridge, for our condo in Hallandale Florida, from the Hollywood Home Depot. It was received in
The fridge came with a bump on the side which was hidden under a masking tape. I did not notice the bump but my wife noticed it only last week when she joined me in Florida. I did not notice it because I had to travel back to Canada in a hurry, and took it for granted that the fridge received from Home Depot was in good condition, received in good faith.
We had also received an LG oven (this is fine), and many other items for our kitchen (tile etc) spending a considerable amount of money, as we usually do at Home Depot.
Home Depot is now indicating I should have noticed the defect in the first 48hrs, and is not supporting us, after sending us a clearly defective product, as it was known to them it was damaged, as a tape was on it to hide the defect.
The circumstances did not allow me to notice this hidden defect in the first 48 hrs.
Please kindly assist in resolving this matter, Many thanks, Michel Zerey
The person handling this complaint at Home Depot Hollywood Florida [protected] 1761) is Qanisha. She has been very courteous, but unable to assist. LG do not want to assist either indicating they cannot fix it.

Home Depot home depot protection plan

Bought a 3 year protection plan for refrigerator. Protection plan marked as Internet # [protected] and Store SKU# [protected]. Called and was refused repair to this Refrigerator by Sarah(Supervisor). The temperature controller for the freezer is broke. I paid $55 for this 3 year protection plan. The first time this happened Home Depot had the manufacturer replace the Freezer controller knob. Now I receive zero consideration for what is acknowledged to be a known defect. Was not made aware of this defect . I purchased a 3 Year Protection Plan. Home Depot Telephone products warranty department refused to cover needed part replacement

Home Depot home depot 11% menards rebate match

In May 2018 I purchased a garage door from Home Depot. I was given a 11% rebate form by the sales clerk and was told I could get a rebate if I completed the form with a copy of the receipt. I applied online at Home Depot's rebate website in May 2018 and found out the rebate was later denied. Thinking I entered the wrong information I reapplied in June 2018.
It was also denied. I called Home Depot rebate center in Atlanta and was told the rebate was denied because the garage door was a "special order" and "special order items" do not qualify for the rebate. I was not told this when I purchased the door and furthermore the clerk told me I could get an 11% rebate. The only reason the door was a "special order" was that my garage is 18 ft. wide and the standard door is 16 ft. wide. The "special order door" cost approximately $2, 000 and was a few hundred $ more than the "non-special order door." Home Depot actually got more money because the door was a "special order." Now to add insult to injury I just paid Home Depot more than $25, 000 for new kitchen cabinets and appliances. This surely leaves a bad taste in my mouth and it tells me that Home Depot's rebate program is not worth the paper it is printed on. I will stick with Menards in the future. At least they honor their rebate program and don't add strings or conditions to their rebate incentives.

Home Depot windows - order number [protected]

Hi mark,

Since I haven't received a call back yet ( I know it's only been 2 hours but I would've thought it was kind of urgent) and the complete incompetence of this job from day 1 ...
A brief history
*May 1 I met with Melissa ... she was terrific the only good part of this ...I was such an easy customer! Ask her ...the deal was made, price agreed upon deposit of 750.00 given a simple window order... easy... one would think
*A few weeks later this elderly man who I could swear was drunk (I was told diabetic but who knows) comes to my house to take measurements... he is unstable on his feet, he was in a fog, I thought he was literally going to die in my house...spend two hours only to tell me... yeah I'll have to send you the measurements something is wrong with my computer... days go by no measurements no nothing...
* I start calling Home Depot over and over again and I finally talk to you ( this was after emails to Melissa (which I have) calls, and visits to the store I am told the man who came to my house was diabetic and he was in the hospital?
* a new man comes to my house takes measurements ...says I don't think Melissa is right, numbers are wrong whatever?
* back and forth with you, Melissa etc no one agrees with measurements order still not placed?
* phone call received Order Placed! Low and behold a miracle happens...omg am I getting windows?
* phone call received with an Install Date of August 3rd(yes that's 3 months after order placed)... I receive call after call of what I need to do to make the install go smoothly..
*i need to remove professionally installed window treatments, deal with my pets, clear the area where the windows are going of furniture etc ..all of which I of course did... see I did everything I was supposed to do... rearranged my calendar etc
* Aug 3rd... I'm so EXCITED windows! Yay handyman is lined up to put window treatments back up, security company coming to reinstall security systems ... I can't believe ...new windows! ... or ...
*Aug 3rd call received 8:30 um hi ms Dariff yeah this is the installer I went to get your windows and the Half Moon is broken and the trim kit is completely wrong? We will have to reorder!
*** Aug 3rd phone call to you Mark explaining the disgusting, incompetent garbage that I have dealt with, I explained that unless I get a call back knocking 500 off this job that I am cancelling... and of course still no call back...so here we are

I need an email telling me that if I cancel this job that I will get the Full 750.00 deposit put back on my Home Depot Credit card

I had carpet done by Home Depot no problem
Window Treatments Home Depot No Problem
Entire Kitchen Cabinets Hime Depot NO Problem

I'm thinking Home Depot should not be in the Window Business

This email is going to your corporate offices

Home Depot ge washing machine model gtw680bsws

Paid over $500 for a GE washer. Unit will not wash or rinse clothes. Clothes don't move, they just form a wet wad with no agitation. Clothes come out soapy. This is a bad design from start to finish. Must wash clothes twice because there is no "Rinse" cycle available to get the soap out. Home Depot says "Too bad for you, we don't take returns." But check their web site. it says "100% satisfaction guaranteed". Home Depot refuses to help, I'm out over $500., and stuck with a POS washer. Sure hope Lowes treats their customers better than that because they have a new customer now.

Home Depot online order

Dear Home Depot
I realize things can not always be solved instantaneous and that sending the package to an address I have not lived in since 2012 was a honest mistake. Thank you for cancelling this order. All in all you had the best product and price but unfortunately after nearly 3 hours of tracking down the old address and email while on the phone was a pain i.e to the [protected]@charter.net where we previously lived in Redding. To say the least it was a bit of a chore to fix after talking to three employee reps.

All though it has yet to arrive I appreciate you offering the 25% off and free shipping on my next order and although it did not arrive today as promised maybe I miss understood and it is being sent by mail today? Just a reminder I live in NC now and the closest store is a hour plus away. I will hold my internet order in my cart for a while longer but hope I can apply this to my order soon as I really need this.

All though frustrated I do appreciate your diligence in getting this cleared up.

Sincerely

Michael E Baker

Home Depot pressure washer - tool rental

CONTRACT #: 336838 from the Midtown home depot in Atlanta GA

I rented a pressure washer for 24 hours.

1) after paying, I was told that I would not be getting the detergent hoses because that was the policy. Instead the associate recommended that I purchase an industrial sprayer and just spray the detergent on. So that makes the project a lot harder and more time intensive.
2) the hose was missing half the bearings and the parts that plugged in would not stay in place. The continued to pop out and only one was even functional at that level. So I spent way too much time trying to find the plug that got blown out into the yard.
3) I did manage to finish up half the project before putting the pressure washer away for the night. Intending to get up early and finish before getting it back to THD by my 11am cut off. Unfortunately, I could not get the pressure washer to start again after reassembling all the hoses. I tried everything - more gasoline, patting everything dry with towels, even looking up the instructions for the choke etc. (since the instructions on the pressure washer were illegible). I pulled and pulled and the thing WOULD NOT START. I finally gave up, hefted back into my car, and returned to the store. I asked for some sort of break since it didn't work today.

When I got back to the store the associate got the thing to work after a few pulls. I don't know why it didn't work for me. But since it started for her I was told that I needed to pay the full price for 24 hours since it was working fine. I said it was not working fine for me and I was unable to use it at all today. I asked to speak to the manager and he basically said that it was working fine and I kept it for the 24 hours (actually not since I returned it 2 hours early since it wasn't working today) so there is nothing he would do. He then condescendingly told me that I should have called when it wasn't working and they might have been able to help. I asked what they would have done and he said they might have offered a replacement. So I would have had to load up the one not working, drive 40 minutes, unload, reload, drive 40 minutes, hook up new machine, and then get it back to THD in the 4 hours I had allocated today to do the project? This is really a stupid suggestion.

So now my project is half finished and I can't afford another $100 to start it again. I felt like the team thought I was either lying about it not working or I was a complete idiot for not getting it started. I was so frustrated and angry I started crying. I shop at that store ALL THE TIME and was planning on picking up paint and supplies for the second part of my project. I can't believe how I was treated. It was totally humiliating. I don't know what I will do at this point. I can't lift that thing up again into my car (I am a 100 pound woman) but my project isn't done. It is probably easier to just get a scrub brush and do it by hand I suppose. And I won't have to deal with THD.

Thanks for having a place to vent. If you want to reach me, my number is [protected].

Home Depot customer service

Horrible customer service ! I spend 45 minutes back and forth to the shades window isle and customer service desk. Asking for someone can help me there. They have been calling for someone no body show up. Four times asking politely to help me. Obviously nobody wants to do his job. Imagine with 2 toddlers are crying in the shopping cart. I had to leave and drive home for another 30 minutes. And nothing get done.
I'm not going to Home Depot again and thank you for the worst experience I had in my life.

Home Depot the home depot, home services exteriors

The Home Depot, Home Services Exteriors

Business Job Reference: Roofing Job # [protected]

2. INSTALLATION MANAGER Arlin Messersmith [protected]
3. BRANCH OFFICE MANAGER Chuck Cooke [protected]
4. BRANCH MANAGER John Brown [protected]
5. Customer Service Various [protected]
The Complainant would like the Business to stop lying to customers and stop advertising in this area for the services that they cannot provide.

On April 10th I contracted with the business to do a roof replacement on my home due to wind damage. The initial timeline expectations from Mr. Duvall was in a few weeks to a month due to the high volume of work in the area. On the 25th of April I met with Mr. Duval at my house to adjust the contract due to material estimate shortage. Mr. Duval said everything was on tract and should be scheduled in the next week or so. He pointed out that I needed a tarp installed as a temporary repair to prevent interior damage due to missing shingles.

NOTE #1 This was the first Lie. I learned in May from Mr. Messersmith that the only licensed contractor that Home Depot had in this area of West Virginia had been terminated on April 20th due to poor performance. All sales consultants were informed immediately so this means that Mr. Duval knew about this at our April 25th meeting for contract adjustment. He knew there were problems but chose to mis-inform me about the business's decreased capabilities to keep my deposit money (make the sale).

After contacting Home Depot several times over the next few weeks, I was finally able to get the tarp installed to protect my damaged roof that is now under contract with the HD. I was also in contact with Mr. Messersmith and was informed that there was a problem getting the contractors the proper numbers for the state of WV and these were needed for the building permits that were needed for my job. We had a lengthy discussion about how much more difficult it was to get permits in WV than in surrounding areas like MD and VA.

NOTE #2 This was the second LIE. I contacted the Permitting Department for Jefferson County WV and found out that no building permit was needed for a roof replacement. Mr. Messersmith was using this excuse to cover the fact that the business had no contractors in this area to perform the contracted work and was lying to stall the work progress and keep my deposit.

At this point, I contacted BRANCH OFFICE MANAGER, Chuck Cooke @ [protected] and BRANCH MANAGER, John Brown @ [protected]. This was done through contacting customer service several times and voicing my displeasure with being lied too by the Sales Consultant and the Installation Manager. Mr. Cook explained everything that was going on and understood that I did not want to be dealing with the people that have been lying to me. On Jul 25th I contacted Mr. Cooke after he left a voice mail message for me. He informed me that I should be hearing from scheduling in the next couple of days. I did not hear from scheduling and tried to reach out to people on Monday. Mr. Cooke seemed upset that I am demanding answers as to why no one contacted me and weather or not his business can provide the contracted service. So now, after waiting nearly three months, the contract has been canceled due to lack of contractors and I have to try to get my 5K deposit back from the HD credit card myself.

I was at home depo in self checkout with my boyfriend, our items were to heavy to lift out of the cart boxes of expensive hardwood flooring so the lady had to scan it for me. I go over and ask politely if she can scan it for me and she gives me major additude like I shouldn’t be asking her to do stuff then tells me not to stand infront of the desk with a bad additude. So she scans the items and I feel really uncomfortable with her next to me like cringing I feel bad vibes then walks back behind the desk, my boyfriend is getting his wallet ready taking out his card but I am looking over her way while he’s doing that and zoneing out cause I’m so tired. She then looks at me like she’s angry and “says your good “, your all set . I’m like I know he’s getting his wallet ready she goes okay cause you are looking at me like you have a problem, again (with additude) then I am having a conversation with my boyfriend not her and say, “ see this is what I’m talking about last night with bad customer service “. She continues to harass me and yells, ”you want to call the manager over “ me : No. Then she’s asks us 4 more times like challenges us to call the manager over and finally my boyfriend says yes even though I didn’t want to at this point I felt extremely uncomfortable there and felt like I wasn’t invited to be shopping there and I should shop somewhere else . Home Depo store in Hamden CT a manager comes over named Cristina and doesn’t help me at all I start crying at this point I have no idea why I was being harassed all she asks me if I need water . No. This is not over going tomorrow morning and asking the manager the name of the employee calling corporate and filling a harassment complaint because all that cashier had to do was scan the items that’s it not make a scene in home depo and use me as a punching bad just cause she was having a bad day. She should not be given a warning she should be fired for harassing me and keep being a instigator and wanting a fight, wanting so confident to have the manager over which scares me even more. You ruined my whole day you made me cry and I am a regular local customer who has a home depo credit card and would like to go to this location again but I am honestly not sure at this point.

Home Depot do not buy appliances from home depot

They use a third party to deliver and install - and when something goes wrong they both deny responsibility. I ordered a refrigerator to be delivered and installed, the old refrigerator to be moved to the garage and take the one in the garage away.

The day of delivery I emptied both refrigerators and freezers - the installation company shows up - and refused to move the refrigerator in our kitchen. They stated they will not move a GE Monogram, too heavy was their reason. It is a 23 cu ft unit on wheels - they refused and left. I told them I would move it and they said they would come back - they never came back.

I called Home Depot - and their "support line" for appliances is ONLY pre-recorded bull - so knowing sales would answer I selected that one. After about 20 minutes I was told there was nothing they could do - but they would reschedule for a later date - I cancelled the order. Home Depot did not take the lead and shirked their responsibility. They should stick to wood and nails - where there is no customer service required.

Home Depot kitchen department

I ordered cabinets from Home Depot. Due to permitting issues, I did not get to install the cabinets until two years later. When I opened the last boxes containing the glass cabinet doors, I found that the wrong glass was used. After spending $100, 000 at Home Depot for my house renovation, they refused to replace five measly panes of glass! THE POUGHKEEPSIE HOME DEPOT STORE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND REFUSES TO RIGHT THEIR WRONGS! Bad business.

Home Depot stair carpet installation

Upon a quick look, everything appeared to be OK. When I had my wife come over to look at the stair carpet, she noticed pulled up carpet threads, an exact knife blade cut in the wood work, and the side of the carpet did not seem to be tucked in tight to the steps. Upon seeing this, we were extremely unhappy considering the cost. The carpet came in like a big area rug. The carpet had to be cut to size and, to make it worse, was put on in two pieces because it was not long enough. So what was the sense of a person coming out to measure the stairs if they were not going to have it cut to size. The cushion under the carpet did not cover the entire step. Why? The carpet was not tacked up under the steps to fit flat against the risers. We have attached some photos of what we saw. They did not cleanup after the job was done. Are they suppose to? I helped out by sweeping a little and the one young man lifted up one carpet and shook it out a little, in the house, but the rugs downstairs and the stair carpet needed to be cleaned up from their cutting everything in the house with an exact knife because nothing was cut prior to installation so it would be ready to install when they arrived.
