The Dating Source review: Company takes only money and provides nothing 13

I am writing to not that this is an unethical service. I discovered that my fiancée was on The Dating Source and met with Fredly. I tried to "friend" her on Facebook - she has over 2000 friends but never accepted my friend request. I sent her a Facebook message letting her know that my fiancée was using her service, but my message was ignored. I'm expect since she ignored me on this, that she is not concerned with the current status of the men and women using her company.

I contracted with The Dating Source on December 31, 2015. It was immediately obvious that they operate with a "bait and switch". Over and over I was lead-on with profiles of gorgeous women that were quickly substituted with average or plain women. In February 2016 I was set-up with a woman who turned out to be married. When I insisted that I not be set-up with married women, I was told it was their policy to represent both married men and married women, and "all agencies do it". At that point they refused to talk to me anymore, and their attorney, Paul W. Thomas of the Thomas Law Group in Carlsbad, CA has refused to talk to my attorney. Even though I signed a seven month agreement, they provided service for only two months, and now do not answer the phone. I strongly, STRONGLY advise to not do business with them. They also operate under the name "Cupid For Hire". Fredly Antosh, Marla Martenson, and Caroyln Donaldson operate a total scam.

I am new to the Dating Source, so I will revise this comment as things develop. But so far, it has been an extremely large disappointment. I was shown about 40 women to entice me to sign-up---not just their pictures, but profiles and the owner went into detail on some of the women as opportunities for me; in one case, talking me into considering "Tiara" even though I was inclined to dismiss her. One in particular, Irena, we agreed would be my top prospect and first match. But once I signed up, the matchmaker started trying to match me with women I had declined. I was told Irena was not available. Tiara said she did not want to meet me. So far 9 of my top 9 picks have turned me down, often over my looks. I am not a movie star, just an average guy, but I have never been told I was ugly. It is starting to feel like a bait-and-switch. In fairness, the agency seems concerned that I am dissatisfied, so we will see if they provide a refund or some kind of remedy. If they provide a fair resolution, I will be sure to post it here. But until then, I must say this has been a total disaster.

My experience at the dating source has been very positive! They have done a a great job and I have met wonderful people. I have even referred family and friends to use the service. They take the time to understand what I'm looking and are very detailed oriented. They have been very responsive even when I have a quick question.

I never thought I would ever join a dating agency but I am so glad I did. When I first met with Fredly, the owner, she said her goal was to add me to her list of satisfied clients. I told her my standards were high and that might not be easily done. However, Fredly and the Dating Source have made me a satisfied client. At 58, and being based where my company is in the midwest, I felt that there was only a slim chance of real success. Nevertheless, I thought it was worth a try.

My time was well spent every time I flew into CA. The last trip had 3 dates lined up and each women was pretty much as described and looked like their photos. The second gal I met with will probably be my fiance very soon. We have off the charts chemistry and she is as beautiful inside as she is out. What I thought might turn out to be an exercise in futility has honestly transformed my life. I would gladly gives a thumbs up to your agency and provide a reference. I feel like I have more balance in my life now and am excited about our future together. Thank you so much.

Like most divorced men, I had been trying to meet women at upscale singles events and online, sending winks into cyberspace. All that got me was frustrated. While I was able to meet women, I wasn’t able to find the kind of women I wanted to be with. The Dating Source gave me the opportunity to meet women that matched my idea of who I wanted in my life. It has been, and continues to be, a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to any man who is picky about women.

I admit I have higher standards than most. I date beautiful women frequently but none of those relationships lasted for any considerable length of time. When I met Fredly for our initial consultation she was very straightforward and transparent, which I appreciated. After signing up, Marla did well matching me with several lovely women whom shared things in common with me. It was obvious that she really listened to what mattered most to me. Overall I am very pleased with the professionalism of all the staff as well as the quality of women. I don’t know that I ever want to get married again but I am leaving that door open. Having tried and been solicited by other services, your agency has provided what was tauted and for that I say thank you.

I have to thank the staff at The Dating Source for their time and attention with me. You are truly different from other dating agencies. I should know since I've been a member of two others . My last date was a rare moment that resembled a trifecta. I connected with her emotionally, spiritually, and physically. She is amazingly appealing to the eye, and smart. I am not a trophy guy just looking for a pretty girl on my arm. All my dates have had a lot to offer besides beauty. I’m genuinely looking forward to exploring the future now and I just felt compelled to say thank you.

Fantastic Matchmaking company. I am also a Matchmaker outside of California. This is the matchmaking company I refer to when clients are in the California area. Ethical, expert matchmaking and high level of service and follow through. There are a lot of Matchmakers. You want to work with the one that matches you to the attractive and quality singles you really want to meet. The clients I have recommended have been extremely satisfied with the quality of matches and exemplary service.

It's really unfortunate that people put up nasty reviews that aren't true. I'm a matchmaker and collaborate with the Dating Source often and they go above and beyond for their clients. We help each other out and they are the real deal. They also work all the time and are available anytime. As a business owner they are one of the best.

I am the matchmaker for The Dating Source, and this complaint is fake. I keep detailed notes on all of our clients. All of our clients sign a contract before we work together, so the complaint that this individual received no documents is not possible. Every client is matched every month, and given the utmost respect and service. There are a lot of emotions involved in matchmaking, and unfortunately, sometimes egos are bruised, or hoped results are not met because of a client's unrealistic expectations. It is sad that people decide to take an action to defame or sabotage a company doing good work in the world. We have been in the industry for over a decade and take immense pride in our work and have many couples happily married and in relationships.
