The Cheesecake Factory service and rudeness

I was invited to Birthday Celebration Dinner at th Cheese Factory in Colonie Center Albany/ Colonie NY on yesterday 10/26/2018. 6 of arrived at 7:10 pm and waited for the quest of honor to arrive. He arrived at 7:35pm. Those of the invitees were not seated till 7:55pm. The total number of people invited was 25. As we sat there for another 40 minutes I as an Diabetic told the male waitress that some of us are ready to order his reply the (waitress) was I Cannot take any orders until 1/2 the party has arrived at that time there were 13 people seated. As I told him that he said he has to check with management and no returned for another 20 minutes at this point most quests have been seated. Our order was taken by a female waitress and then our meals did not arrive for another 25 minutes. The portions were that deserving of a 3 year old Toddler. We asked to speak with a manager who took another 19 minutes to come speak with us. This manager was not accommodating to say the lease. I didn't accept the small portion of a meal. We sat another 15 minutes while the Manager did not return or offer any thing to accommodate myself and others. That was my first visit to Cheese Cake Factory and after that experience my blood sugar dropped and I couldn't sleep all night. I felt belittled and disrespected. I feel due to separate checks was told the arrangement would be. Why should I and others that were waiting to be served have to be treated as such

The Cheesecake Factory unsanitary cup

So me and my girlfriend went to the cheesecake factor located on 1 Maple, White Plains NY for our lunch break ... And the server Jarrett was really helpful with what we ordered and super polite. Unfortunately right after our appetizers were given to us my girlfriend spotted old crust on her cup she was drinking from (She ordered a strawberry lemonade) we quickly brought it up to one of the servers and she was extremely apologetic. but at that point me and my girlfriend were both disgusted. It was seriously alot of grime. The Manager came shortly after but he didn't really accommodate or help the situation out. We were told that the GM was also at this location and was told but didn't even come out to apologize or help us out with anything. At that point we just wanted to leave. We were more upset at how management handled the situation then the actual cup itself which was still disgusting. Me and My Girlfriend still paid for the appetizers...when to be honest I feel we really shouldnt have... i work and live across from the cheesecake factory and have recommended it to plenty of people but I definitely will no longer do so... We Kept a receipt and picture of the cup... The Servers were amazing. But you should really talk to your management team because they both handled this situation terribly... Mind you My Girlfriend Manages our Hospitals Food And Nutrition Dept. And Has Never seen a Manager handle a situation so terrible.

The Cheesecake Factory disruptive evening, mgr not controlling his restaurant

I took my two daughters for a nice dinner as we usually try to go on Friday evening after a busy week. 30 minutes into our experience a party of 15 people came in and were sat next to us, we were in a booth to the righ were the long benches and tables together. This group came in and immediately were so loud and disruptive, acting like they were the only people in the restaurant. Our food came, they began to stand next to us taking pictures all the 11 women were soaked in perfume, dressed like hookers, one kept bending over exposing her breasts, another kept leaning over exposing her [censored] with no underwear in front of me and daughters. They moved to the main walkway to take group pics and your mgr became their photographer! I called for the mgr, I don't remember his name but he looks like Jessie Waters from Fox News. He said it was a birthday party and apologized and I told him he should have asked them to be respectful of everyone else in his restaurant and should not have encouraged the disruptive behavior by becoming their photographer. He should have told them it was a busy Friday evening and they needed to stay seated. I could not eat my meal Steak Diane. He didn't charge me, I found out from my daughter her pasta was not cooked fully but didn't want to say anything because it was already a terrible evening. We go to the Arrowhead Cheesecake Factory in Peoria AZ all the tie but will not go back if you allow your mgrs to turn your restaurant into a night club! I will post on yelp if I do not get a response.

The Cheesecake Factory the cheesecake factory mall drive west nj

Hello, I want to share the very hurtful and long hour I just went through in one of your restaurants, that is located at the '10 Mall Dr W, Jersey City, NJ 07310'.
My friend, aunt and I wanted to eat in the cheesecake factory for a long time, I am new to the area and they came with me to celebrate with me. The seating process was very nice and the host was friendly, soon a waiter came and after a couple of minutes we were ready to order. I was the second one to order, chicken parmesan with fries, but as always, I asked for the meal to come with no vegtabels or sauce, I am very picky, and that is what I always ask for, the waiter wrote everything down and left.
Halfway through the wait( which was already long by this point) a new waiter came to the tabel and told us she will take care of us from now on, as the first waiter finished her shift. The new waiter was very professional and we kept waiting for the food. First, got her food ny aunt, she was the last to order because it took her a while to decide... then, my friends food arrived. I kept waiting and a couple of minutes later I got my food. It looked just as good as I thought itll be. And just when i was about to grab the sandwich and take a bite i saw tomato picking from it, when i moved the top layer of the sandwich i saw the chicken was covered with sauce(they did remember not to include veggies inside)... no big deal, she wasnt the one to take the order and it wasnt her fault. I asked her to replace my food to the same order but fixed, same as i got, just no sauce now and keep the veggies away. By the time they took my order my friend and aunt aleady started eating. By the time it reached the table, they almost finished their food. I was sad ill dine with them only for a little while, but sadly, when i looked inside, my meal contained vegtables. Furstrated due to the long wait and getting wrong orders again and again, I told my waiter (another one brought the meal) immidietly about what happened before and what happened now. She apologized and called my waiter, she, without hesitation or me asking, said she will call for the manager and theyll see what they will be able to do for me- keep in mind, by that time the other people in my table have already finished the meal.
The managar comes to the table after 3 mins of wait. She said she was sorry about what happen and that she will be happy to pack my meal to go. As a reply I told her " I dont think I will be happy to pay for food that Ill have to eat without my friends" she then replied "so imma erase the meal and thats it" and just left.
You had a costumer wait, for an hour watching her group eat, made a mistake on her one dish twice, and then offered nothing to make her feel better? I know no place that ever treats a costumer like that, thats one. But the second thing, is, I left your reataurant in tears. Im a former anorexic, and Ive been through recovery. Buying food is a big deal for me, and eating outside wasnt a thing I did until last year. So facing my struggles, eating outside, making sure they understood me correctly and then feeling like no one listenes is the worst thing a place could do to someone that has been through what I did. When I eat, I prepare myself mentally for what is about to enter my body, and if that doesnt happen I just give up because to get to the point of eating outside is already hard enough. If getting your food late is furstrating, imagine you would see the food gets to you twice after a long wait but not being able to eat it. To a regular costumer its a bad experience.. so to me? Unbareable. It really is sad to me that I will not go back to your restaurant. A person that is in charge should knows how to handle those things in a fair way.

I came hungry and was actually the one who decided on the place. And I was the only one who didnt get her food.

I visited The Cheesecake factory today and was outraged to discover that it was not actually a factory.
I was very disappointed that I was not able to observe people working on a production line as I was hoping to witness the quality control department identifying any disfigured cheesecakes.
Surely this is false advertising?
Come on Cheesecake Factory - get it together!

Serfeh and dear boss you are both stupid. You are both idiots and you both need to mind your own business and stay off of my post. I AM A FORMER ANOREXIC. I have to plan my meals and this incident messed me up. You are just as stupid, and just as much of an idiot as my aunt and soon to be ex friend. I was so upset at then point when they messed up my order twice that I started swearing at the waitress and manager. My friend told me to calm down. I swore at her. When my aunt took my friends side I totally lost it and swore at her. She is family and supposed to take my side. Even if I am in the wrong. The good thing about my stupid friend is that because she acted like an idiot I can stop being friends with her. Unfortunately my aunt is my dad's sister and I cannot stop being family with such a stupid idiot. Now they both refuse to dine with me because I embarrassed them. I also left with my leftovers and sat in the car. I refused to pay the bill. They had to pay it. On the drive home they would not talk to me. I was verbally abused and neglected by them.

The Cheesecake Factory getting my job back

This is a complaint for the general manager of The cheesecake in prudential in Boston, MA. I worked for this company a year ago and didn't leave in the best terms with them. Recently I went to see if I could get my job back and I talked to the general manager of that place and he told me it wasn't a good time for me to work there. But he just hired my boyfriend back with no issue and has given 2nd chances to those who didn't deserve to work there. They need a lot of servers right now and I was surprised that they didn't hire me back because I could've been beneficial to them working whatever hours they needed me to work. I don't think it's fair that I didn't get my job because so many people have showed up late and had server complaints or didn't show up to their shifts. He still let them work there and gave them a chance. Thats all I wanted from this company and he didn't do that for me.

The Cheesecake Factory management

9/20/18 I woke up to sad news that I have a death in the family & another family member is currently in the hospital. I work at The Cheesecake Factory in Trumbull, CT and I called to tell them that I need to be with my family and I can't work my night shift that's scheduled. The EKM of Trumbull's Cheesecake Factory answered and sayed "That's not a reason to call out." "You can't reschedule." "You're not a doctor!" And hung up in my face. That's the most disrespectful thing I ever witnessed EVER! For someone's who has a loss in the family & another one in the hospital and thats how a boss talks to his employees. No I'm not accepting this. ALSO! This is not the first time the EKM at Trumbull's Cheesecake Factory has treated his employees this way.

The Cheesecake Factory employee/ manager “chef”

I would like to make a serious complaint in regards to an employee, Joshua Boyd, working in Fashion place Mall location of this restaurant. This employee is extremely rude and came on strong because I said my food was still cold. I asked to speak to a manager and he responded with an attitude stated that he was the manager/"chef" I told him my food was cold but instead of offering to make me a new plate he said I can just get it remove from your " check". He left the cold plate on our table Horrible service!

The Cheesecake Factory an employee

Good Evening,

I would like to make a serious complaint in regards to an employee, Eddy Betancourt, working in Dolphin Mall location of this restaurant. This employee is extremely rude and came on strong. It seemed like he was on some type of drug. I honestly love this restaurant and would not like to experience this again. My advice to you is that employee's should be reviewed and tested randomly without notification. I hope you take this complaint serious just as much as I am, thank you.

The Cheesecake Factory dirty silverware

Husband and I went to Cheescake Factory (Alpharetta ga location)for dinner August 25. Food was great but we were given dirty silverware twice. I was highly disappointed and contemplated leaving because of this. This could easily cause food poisoning so there needs to be more diligence in washing the dishes/ utensils. Also I noticed when we were seated the silverware was sitting on the bare table. Not on a plate or napkin, but the table. This is not sanitary

The Cheesecake Factory service

Hello,

I would like to submit a formal complaint. My family and I chose your cheesecake factory restaurant located at 2075 North Point Circle Alpharetta, GA 30022 on 08/17/2018 for our family night dinner. I cut my finger from the water glass which was chipped and when I went to ask the server Billie H for a band aid, I was approached by a gentleman who seemed like a manager. He just handed me band aid and did not address their mistake by serving a broken chipped glass to a customer. I was shocked as I understand mistakes such as, not recognizing a broken glass cup can happen, but I would at least expect that the reataurant staff have the dignity to uphold the integrity of the restaurant and show some sympathy to their customers.

I frequently dine at this location and have never witnessed bad service like this. I believe this level of service is unacceptable for your establishment and that you will take this into consideration and take this into consideration when training your staff.

The Cheesecake Factory sanitation and fda nutrition labeling

On 8/12/18 my family and I dined at Arundel Mills Cheesecake Factory to celebrate my sons birthday. While we waited to be seated I asked the hostess staff (2 females) for the nutritional information for the menu as there were 2 family members with dietary restrictions. After checking around they could not provide me with nutritional information and told me "you would have to wait till you are seated and ask server, the servers have to memorize the whole menu and they would be able to tell you whatever you need to know". I mentioned that that did not seem possible for a waitress/waiter to be able to memorize every nutritional detail for every menu item, but the hostess assured me that they do! When we were seated our waiter knew nothing about the nutritional value of the menu items, as I suspected.
Also, my daughter used the female restroom and said it was terrible, urine all over floor. Even worse, my son (whose birthday we were celebrating) used the Mens room after dinner and came right back out and said the toilet/restroom is a terrible mess and there is only one toilet. Now my son really, really, really had to use the restroom so he had no choice but to hurry back in there. I actually did not realize the magnitude of what he was describing until he came back out. When he finally came back out he had disgusting vomit on the back of his shorts, his new shoes had vomit on the bottom and he said that was the most disgusting thing he ever had to see or do. He actually looked sick! He was so humiliated and upset, and what a terrible way to end his birthday celebration.
I called the manager, Monique, the next day... She apologized a couple times for the restroom and questioned me as to why I didnt ask to speak to a manager about the nutritional information.
Well I didnt like her accusing me at all! Like it was my fault I didnt get the nutritional information I needed. I asked a couple employees, they looked around...They should have known to get their manager to assist the customer! I didnt want to make a scene as we were celebrating my sons birthday and just wanted to enjoy and have a good time.
The food was good, service was slow, but we were able to put that aside, however the restroom situation just destroyed our night.

Monique said they knew about the restroom situation and were waiting for a cleaning crew to come in. She said the Cheesecake Factory should have closed the restroom. I think there actually should have been someone or a sign saying what other restroom to use. When we arrived home late, I had to wash all my sons clothes, shoes and I had to clean my seat and floor in the car because of the vomit that was on my sons shorts and shoes. And of course he had to shower!

What an awful experience, so disappointing!

The Cheesecake Factory plastic wrapper on dish

On the night of 8/8/2018 we went the cheesecake factory at the Irvine spectrum to celebrate my birthday..Everything was going great until my wife found a huge piece of plastic wrapper on her chicken costelleta dish..We notified the Kyle manager on duty that night, and he took down my info..this is unaccapteble and if anything happens to my wife or child we are going to have a huge problem. I expect to be contacted soon to see what is going to be done for us for this horrible experience.

The Cheesecake Factory service

We ate the cheese cake factory in Raleigh NC Saturday aug 4th. We got there at 4pm waited an hour for a table. We sat down and ordered we were a table of 6 and one child two of our quests were my elderly parents. My father who has COPD first time at the Cheesecake Factory. Our food took one hour and 20 minuets to get to our table they also left a dinner out which we waited an extra 15 min for andakso screwed up 2 orders this is unacceptable. I would appreciate someone to get back to me.

The Cheesecake Factory customer service

I went to the Cheesecake Factory on July 30, 2018 and got seated and all was fine until a larger party was seated next to us. Then the server Carina M. Forgot all about us. We sat for 30 mins with no refills no nothing. We had to flag down another server to ask for manager. Carina appeared and rolled her eyes several times when I said manager. The manager Brian Vasquez did not ask how he could help us or ask how to make the experience better. He just spoited out a robotic speech and when I asked her the server's name so I could call corporate on her behavior he lied and would not give me her name even tho it is printed on receipt. He called secuity on me because i kept asking for her name and i asked for corporate number and he lied and wrote the wrong number on the card. He kept lying the entire time. Carina appeared again laughing and making faces at me and rolling eyes 4 more times. I will not put up with such behavior. I called corporate and tried to tell them what happened but they called and talked tk
Manager and manager lied again to them and said i caused a disturbance and cursed him which I definitely did not. I am a Doctor and a professional and do not use such language. Absolutely not.

The Cheesecake Factory double standard

I am a regular customer at the Cheesecake Factory Boulder. It should be brought to your attention that bartenders at this location are regularly waiting on as many as 10 tables while also performing bar duties and serving the barstools. It is common for my dinner to arrive before my cocktail. My server has explained to me that "this is Boulder, and this is how we do things here." Other Cheesecake factories allow me to enjoy a cocktail while I wait for my dinner. Boulder offers it to me as an after dinner drink.

The Cheesecake Factory service from the manager

Went to Cheesecake Factory with my family for my daughter and her husband anniversary my husband and I and my granddaughter order an omelette with potatoes the potatoes were very greasy dripping with grease and they were very old potatoes. I complained to the manager Henry which was worthlessness. He said oh I'll check on it. I think he should have discounted all 3 but no all he did was walk away. Very unprofessional manager. Won't go back again.

The Cheesecake Factory unethical behavior at your columbia restaurant

My friend and I went your Columbia Cheesecake Restaurant on July 28, 2018 to have dinner before we went the movies. After checking in, we were given the remote to tell us when the table was ready. I asked the lady how long it would be and she said 10 minutes. After 20 minutes had passed, I checked with her again only to find out that my name was called. I told her that the remote did not light up. After looking at it, she said that it wasn't working properly. We sat down again and after 5 more minutes we were finally seated. By this time, we were concerned about missing the first part of the movie and not being able to eat all of our food. A waiter by the name of Justin came to take our order. I told him that we would probably need to take our order out because we were seated late and the remote wasn't working. He took our order, we told him how we wanted the salad, salad dressing and bread. We waited a long time before we got our bread, he was waiting on other clients but he seemed to be in a hurry to see if we were alright. I fully understand that he had other customers, however, his service could have been better. My friend had requested that an item not be placed on her salad. However, it was. He didn't checked with her to see if her salad was alright. My salad wasn't alright either. We asked for our bill, asked for containers to take out the salad, and the our bills. When he came back, my friend told him that she would like to give him some constructive criticism. He said that would be fine. So she told him that he needed to check with his customers more often to make sure that their order was alright. I had asked to speak with the manager because I felt that they should know everything that happen that evening. A lady came out, I told her about the seating problem, and the waiter. She offered a free dessert. We received it and then after getting the bill we told Justin that the bill was separate. He just said that he would divide it up at the register. After coming back to the table, he told my friend that he could either owe her a dollar or she could owe him. He said he would rather that she owed him. After that, we left. We didn't leave a tip. We walked out of the door and the next thing I knew, we were being followed by Justin. He was hollering at us because we didn't leave him a tip. He said, I can't believe you didn't leave me a tip and you have bags too. He continue to scream at us and followed us to the front of the movie. He didn't get off the steps of the restaurant but he was close to the edge of the stairs so we could hear him very well. First of all, this young man had no right to follow us out of the restaurant screaming and yelling at us like he was crazy. We found this type of conduct that was displayed was very unprofessional to say the least. We didn't know if he was going to attack us or not. I feel as though his conduct was out of control and it gave your establishment a bad name. In the past, we have had some problems with this restaurant but nothing like this. I usually enjoy coming to the Cheesecake Factory. However, this has given me a bad taste in my mouth. I can't say when I will be going to this restaurant again. I can't believe that this happen. After the movie, we went back to the restaurant to make a complaint. We talked to the Assistant Manager and she asked that we right down what happen. I did and she told me that I would get a call the next day which was Sunday July 29, 2018. I never got a call. I would hate to think that this incident would go unnoticed. Therefore, this is why I am reaching out to you for an understanding as to why this would happen. Suppose they young man had a gun or something? On July 28, 2018 a friend and I stopped in your restaurant to have dinner before we went to the movies. During that time, we were detained for a while because my remote was not working properly. Shortly after that, we were seated and a young man by the name of Justin waited on us. His service was very poor, the food wasn't prepared as requested, we were yelled and screamed at when we left the restaurant.

I placed a call to the restaurant because I was told after making the complaint that a manager would be contacting me. I called myself to speak to a manager and when I told him what happen I was told that the restaurant was owned by the young mans uncle and that he would not be in any trouble and that he would probably get a promotion. My first response you mean to tell me that it's alright for a waiter to chase someone out of the restaurant to the outdoors screaming? He said that nothing would be done but we could come back for a gift card to have dinner. I told him that I wasn't sure about that because Justin might try to do the same thing all over again. he told me that Justin wouldn't remember me because he was probably high when he did this.

Later in the afternoon, Brian Gerber called me to find out what happen. I told him and he wanted to know what they could do for us. He offered gift cards. I told him thank you. However, this in no way makes this experience alright. Offering a dinner or gift card does not make up for the unprofessional conduct that this man displayed to us. A dinner is like, ok, we will feed you and you should be alright. No! I don't think so. I would like for your CEO to know about this.

This could happen again. Is this the policy of the Cheesecake Factory? I'm planning on putting this on Facebook to let other people know how they may be treated if they don't leave a tip to a waiter. His conduct was unprofessional and scary. This is something that you really need to address. My plan is to go to Columbia to talk to the manager and to see if this man is still there.

The Cheesecake Factory host and manager treatment

I've had the worst experience ever today at cheese cake factory in Westlake Ohio, Crocker Park location. The host yelled at me simple for asking how long is my wait. She made me regret coming to this place. Her name is Nicole. She was very very disrespectful and laughing at me. The floor manager his name is Robert simply seated me. They burnt my food on purpose. I waited for an hour and left hungry. Simple worst experience of my life. They just lost a customer who would go there three times a week sometimes. Worst possible treatment.

The Cheesecake Factory restaurant service

Iam Anika garg 5 months pregnant.i went to ur outlet at the Dubai Mall with my family on 18 July 2018. As we were ordering the food..we asked our server what can u suggest for drinks..he suggested a few out of which one he said was strawberry smoothie..we ordered that. On drinking it..it did not taste like strawberry smoothie..I enquired the other server crossing by..and he said it has pineapple too..and as Iam pregnant I have to avoid pineapple (as it can induce miscarriage)according time my doc.. we called the manager and asked her as to why we were not told that it's not a pure strawberry smoothie..she said it's written as strawberry fruit smoothie in the menu..then we asked why the server did not tell us that it's a strawberry fruit smoothie instead of strawberry smoothie.. he shud have given us the full information. To our shock rather than accepting the fault the manager was argued a lot.
In fact on the bill too..it says strawberry smoothie and not strawberry fruit smoothie.
Iam deeply disappointed by the service I received. I have been to ur outlets in USA too..never had any complaint..that's y we were a very loyal n satisfied customer till this episode.
I hope u understand how risky it is to consume pineapple that I have been avoiding for so long. We had to go to see doc the next day as I had stomach ache after consuming that day.and had a total expense of 2100 dhs for the complete checkup.
The server shud have specified that it's a strawberry mixed smoothie/strawberry mix fruit smoothie instead of just strawberry smoothie.
I hope u will look into this matter..as I don't want this to b repeated with other women in my state.
I hope to receive a favorable response .

The Cheesecake Factory service

Hi - my husband and I and my son went to the Cheesecake factory in Smithtown near Smithhaven Mall. We got there on a saturday between 12 noon and 12:30. It was not crowded at all and there were loads of servers walking around. We waited 40 minutes for our food. At that point we didn't want it. I ordered a breakfast special of eggs and pancakes - I also asked for a side order of toast. They brought the toast to me 10 minutes later.

We have been there many many times and waited long, however, this was ridiculous to the point that I had to complain about it. A gift card of some sort would be appreciated to return there. My name is Carol and you can email it to me at [protected]@yahoo.com. Thanks for listening.

On July 28, 2018 my friend and I went to the Cheesecake Factory in Columbia, MD. We were seated late and our waiter lost his mind after he wasn't tipped. He followed us outside of the restaurant screaming at us because he didn't get a tip. He followed us to the edge of the restaurant's stairs. I found this to be an act of extreme foolishness on his part. We didn't know if he was going to attack us or not. After reporting this to the manager, we thought that we would have gotten a call from them. Not yet. This type of conduct is unacceptable.

I sincerely hope that they will get this young man in order. Had I been a man, this would have ended in a different way. He had a lot of nerve to do this. I would hope that the Cheesecake Factory would take note of his conduct and deal with it accordingly.
