This modeling agent and photographer is dishonest and a thief. Hasson Harris, photographer and owner of The Bath Hass: Slater Model Management offered me a special on a photoshoot for $300. I paid him the $300 in advance in May of 2011. I should have known something was wrong when I repeatedly asked him for a model release and I never received it. I flew from Ohio to Los Angeles for my shoot with Mr. Harris. During the shoot, I thought it was strange that he never showed me any test shots, claiming "He doesn't show anyone his work until it's edited". Well 3 months passed by and I kept calling Mr. Harris asking where my pictures were from our shoot. He kept assuring me he was still editing them and that he had some health problems and was in the hospital. However, I never saw any photos to this day and it has been almost a year. After awhile, he stopped returning my calls and text messages. I truly felt like he took advantage of me from the start, probably never ever having film in his camera during our shoot. Do not trust him. Because of his behavior during our shoot, I suspect he has some sort of drug abuse issue and preys upon hopeful, trusting young models to fund his habit.
I actually read this page before shooting with Hasson Harris on the first of this month (6/1/2014) and he stated the photos would be sent to me the following Tuesday which was the 3rd of June. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt because some of the people on here like Marcela Sanchez were defending him. I am a struggling model with not a lot of money, and I really needed the photos. I was very nice about reminding him, but after the third time I started to suspect he may have stolen my money without any intention of giving me photos. Keep in mind he took these photos for me a discounted rate, which, now knowing what I know, was too good to be true.
I asked him on five different occasions for the photos and each time I received responses like "they're almost ready" or " Yes ok sending today omg I keep getting sidetracked". Of course, these were all lies and I sent him a text on the 22nd of June telling him that I felt disrespected by his actions and that I wanted to speak with him in person about the situation to clear it up. He of course ignored this text, which further validates all of the complaints on here. Something seriously needs to be done about these snakes that take advantage of the hopes and dreams of kids trying to make it in this town. How can you as a thirty year old man look yourself in the mirror let alone live with yourself knowing that you profit off of lying and stealing from struggling kids that sacrifice almost everything to come here?! How can you take their hard earned cash that they can barely afford to give you in the first place and not give them pictures?! He also does not care at all about taking initiative or giving his "clients" the attention he claims to want to give them. For instance, after rescheduling the shoot twice and setting on a location he had the audacity to ask me where we were shooting minutes before I was to arrive at the predetermined location.
The pinnacle of this guy's unprofessionalism was when he would try to flirt with me over text at odd ours of the night. I would receive these extremely flirtatious messages from him while I was sleeping in bed laying next to my girlfriend at 1, 2 even 3 in the morning while he was drunk off his ###. I hated it and it made me feel VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable. Marcela Sanchez, I know that you are friends with this man and it was actually your comment that made me decide to give Hasson a shot. I know that your relationship with him is different from the rest of ours but believe it or don't believe it THIS IS WHAT HE IS DOING RIGHT NOW AND HE WILL DO IT TO YOU TOO! Maybe some of you can dare to speak with him and set him straight for the benefit of his soul because as of right now there is no way he is getting into the pearly gates any time soon.
Also, he always looked tired when I saw him and, he said it was because he was working, but it's probably just the immense weight of his own ### that he is tired of carrying around. Good luck dealing with him, you will definitely need it.
I paid too, and got nothing! Scam scam scam! Disappointed there really are people like this. Sad! Learning lesson for sure!
My name is Marcela Sanchez and I have. Known Hassan Harris for a long time before he even was a famous photographer and I choose not to believe any of this stories are crazy to me to know that such people will say madness about him. It's hard for me to believe that any of the stories are true. In my heart I know he is a truthful and honest person. And I hope that none of the stories are true. Hopefully things can be fixed. He's a good person at heart and I don't believe that anything that's being said would be true. This is the first time I google him and this is what I come up with it's kinda crazy to me. It was a real shocker to me to read all these things that are being said about him. this is. The reason why I decided to make a comment on this page because I've known him for so long and I don't believe any of it but everybody has your own opinions and the chance to say whatever you want but hopefully you are not trying to break his career I know the struggle he had to go through to get where he is now. Hopefully you guys are just not trying to make it worse for him.

SCAM! SCAM! Thankfully PayPal helped me get my money back... I have all the info attached this is the stuff he would say... look for yourself. .. real stuff
Are people really this stupid to believe any of these claims? Alice torn has posted as 2 different people which is the first indication that all of these claims are false. Not only that but all these were posted within three days of eachother and some right after another. The same person is posting and its evident. I am a model who has worked with Hasson numerous times and I never once suspected Hasson of using ever, Before I worked with him like most models will do I asked around and received nothing but great reviews. The worst thing I got was that he was definately hard on models because hes very serious about what he does and how it effects his brand as well as the models and or agencies.Lastly the amount of complaints clearly show it has had no effect for hasson is in the prime of his career which means these claims are again false for he would not book at all.
excuse me! I DID PAY HASSON HARRIS FOR MY IMAGES AND GOT NOTHING BACK. THATS NO LIE. TO TAKE A PHOTOGRAPHER TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT OVER IMAGES AND $$ IS SILLY ANYWAY ! THIS WAS SEPT 2012 AND SINCE MY SHOOT HE'S REFUSING TO GIVE ME MY IMAGES OR REFUND MY $$! why would anyone lie about a service or an experience with a photographer just beacause @Jessseking. U must be apart of the scam too" trying to clear it up" please! HASSON HARRIS is a photographer FRAUD and thats real!
Ok this is out of control. I am actually a model hasson Harris has worked with and all these statements are false. If one looks closely the same person is posting comment after comment every few days. 2 comments the same day min after eachother . This is called slandering. If one really has a problem yes small claims court would be the way to go. Also for a new model 1 hasson never charges 900.00 for his Sking rate is 500.00 so that is totally false. These claims are beyond rediculous. I feel now that I need to get involved into making sure that these FAKE postings are cleared up.

Hi my name is Sarah Glen i also shot with "Hasson Harris" in Feb 2012 downtown LA! i payed him $400 day of shoot for 1 look and he promised to edit as well, sad enough its ben a nightmare.! he changed his phone number and i cant get a hold of him. NO IMAGES AND HE WONT ANSWER ME ON FACEBOOK OR ANY SOCIALMEDIA HE's on. i had no clue he was this type of person, he really tricked me. something about him from the start wasnt pure but i didnt wanna judge a book by its cover. i want my images and my $$ back at this point. i also spent $300 in clothing and brought a makeup artist to the shoot. Its been devasting to get nothing from this shoot. HOW CAN WE STOP HIM, LETS BAN TOGETHER AND SUE HIS ###. SMALL CLAIM COURT WITH ALL THE CASES
i paid that guy $900 and flew from Houston, Texas jus for his work. After a 3 month battle with him, hes still refusing to send me my images and give my $$ back. Im not in LA so i cant easily deal with this. I used part of my rent $$ for those images as im a struggling model and thought i would get work off the images. he completely screwed me over and he s a horrible spirit. PLEASE DO NOT SHOOT WITH HASSON HARRIS, HE EVIL AND HIM AND HIS ast RICAHRD B III are SCAM ARTIST.FRAUD
DO NOT SHOOT WITH HASSON HARRIS. HE's A TRUE SCAM ARTIST/FRAUD. I PAID HIM $375 for a shoot with 2 looks and i havent gotten anything. no images and no refund. my shoot was SEPT 4, 2012 in sherman oaks, ca! hes ben promising to send them and STILL NOTHING. i have shot with hasson harris and i have never had this sort of problem at all, i have also got plenty of refereals to hom from models and such agencies that have all praised hasson as someone to work with, i mean he shoots with top modeling agencies.as for him having drug issues that is def not the case for im sure it would show in his work and his work is flawless. have you tried to contact him recently? i do know he has health issues earlier this year to which he did slow down. however to assume he is a drug addict is wrong.
