• Beware - this company uses many names and telephone numbers - 415 East Airport Frwy, #400, Irving, TX - The movers did not bring a large enough truck to move my things. They knew how much there was to move since they packed my apartment the day before. The youngest was very careless, when using the dolly he would just let it fall from one step to the next without controlling the drop. I brought their attention to my glass art and asked them to be very careful with it. I had been advised by the owner, Nils Johnson, that they would be very careful with my belongings and she would send her best crew. If this is their best crew I would hate to see the worst. I saw the largest piece of art was stuck in a box wrapped in a single piece of paper. I asked the team leader to please pack it more securely and he took it out of the box and said he was going to wrap it in bubble warp and blankets. It was the last I ever saw of the art. When the truck was full we left for the house leaving a lot boxes and things still to move. We left between 10 and 11 Am. When we got to the house they asked me where to put the boxes and I noticed they had not labeled the boxes. I told them we would have to figure out where to put the boxes as they unpacked them. I was told they were not unpacking them. I told them they were indeed unpacking them and they better check with the office. They found out they were unpacking everything. After they unloaded the truck they went back to the apartment to get the remainder of my things. I stayed at the house to wait for the cable, telephone and internet installer. When they returned I started asking where the large piece of art was. They told me they still had lots of boxes to unpack. I kept asking and was finally told between 5 & 6 PM that they had broken it that morning before we left the apartment. Since they did not know at that time that they were unpacking everything they thought they could get away without telling me about it. I asked where the art was and was told that it had been thrown away. I told them that it was possible it could have been fixed. They said it was in too many pieces to be fixed. I told them it was not their decision to make they should have brought it to me and let me decide. Finally after many discussions they told me they had taken a picture of it with their phone so they could prove they had not stolen it. They let me see the picture and they had broken the top right hand corner of the piece. The team leader told me they had brought everything from the apartment, there was nothing left. My cleaning lady went to the apartment the next morning and called me to let me know that quite a few things were left in the apt. I got the claims manager to send me the picture and forwarded it to the glass gallery. I was advised that it could have been fixed and still be a viable piece of art. They threw away my property. As far as I'm concerned that is theft. It was not their call to make. The cost of the art was $1, 035 and the movers sent me a check for $25
