Texas Roadhouse food was not what we have had in the past and service was terrible

Last night we called in for a to go order, waited on line for about 20 minutes, twice and then they answered and put us on hold again for about 5 minutes. I understand they were busy but seriously. So then we ordered 3 grilled chicken salad, extra dressing for each salad and extra rolls. We got 3 pieces of small chicken strips for each salad, one dressing for each salad and the wrong dressing and cold rolls and didn't give us extra rolls. When we went to pick up the order, the girl was not polite and just handed us the food, didn't go through the order with us at all. Rude!

We have gone to Texas Roadhouse a bunch of times and we have gotten to go orders. We were very disappointed with our order last night. The food was not what we have gotten in the past and they totally skimped us on our grilled chicken and dressings. Usually when we show up, they go through the order with us to make sure it was correct. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH OUR FOOD.

Texas Roadhouse service and food

My husband and I ate there 2/16/2018. He ordered pork chops which he really liked. I ordered the country fried sirloin. It was cold, the batter waa paper thin. I chewed it for 5 minutes before spitting it out. We were there a 11:05 right after they opened.it took 45 minutes for the food to be delivered. My husband talked to the manager and she said I could trade it for something else. So I asked for something to go as my husband would be done with his lunch. Sure enough it took another 40 minutes. I have had the chicken fried steak before and it was really good. Yesterday was not good and our server was the PM bartender and she let my drink run dry and didn't pick up our dishes until we asked her to. Her excuse was they were still opening and she waa busy. If you're too busy to take care of your customers...dont open.

Texas Roadhouse poor management

My brother was fired after the manager at 7125 Desoto Cove, Horn Lake, MS 38637, said he didn't call in for one of his shifts because he was ill. He called many times and didn't get an answer or was being pit on hold. He returned to work the next day for his scheduled shift and was told he was fired because he did a no call no show. He has never be turdy nor has he had any form of write up. He has been attempting to get some form of separation letter but just like the day he called in, he can't get anyone to answer or has been placed on hold. Finally the manager answered today, prior to opening, the manager answered and stated that she's not giving him anything and hung up on him! Is this how this company treats its employees?!?!?!?

Texas Roadhouse sexist employer

This employer in the Panama City Beach location is a SEXist and degrading company. The manager and his wife told my wife there would be no female manager at their location and as my wife went to prove them wrong and take the steps in the Champs program to become manager of a Roadhouse they went out of their way to find a way and reason to fire her. Sine then has been about 2 weeks and the manager has called my wife several times on different days saying your still more than welcome to come eat just not at the bar and then another day your banned from all Roadhouses and just back and forth keep in mind she hasn't worked there in over 2 weeks and has moved on to another form of employment I call and tell the manager Paul to stop contacting my wife it is over and done with move on and he proceeds to laugh at my on the phone call me a [censor] and then hang up this is by far the most unprofessional people to deal with and will not ever be giving any of our time or money and not recommending this establishment to any of our family and friends. Hope this gets out to the right people and something can be done about these evil vindictive people and my attorney is being contacted.

Texas Roadhouse service and food quality

My husband took me and our two children out last night to celebrate my birthday. First, we waited almost ten minutes after being seated for anybody to come to our table. Then is was the manager who came and not even a waitress. That was resolved quickly. Everything was going great until our food came out. I ordered a 10 oz medium rare sirloin with shrimp and fries and a salad. My steak was overcooked but I'm not one to complain. My husband ordered the same! But with fries.and green beans. His steak was so overcooked it was well done. He did complain because it was just gross. So the waitress took his plate. My daughter had steak bites, ordered medium and again we'll.done and too chewy. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the burger was white! Way over cooked. We all waited for our server to come.bqck because we were also out of ketchup but she didn't come back for about twenty minutes with a fresh steak for my husband. By that time we had already been there for a very long time and decided to just get to go boxes. We were going to complain to a manager but no employee in sight and we never seen our waitress again after we paid. My husband was so upset and it completely ruined the rest of my night. Now I have five.containers of food.going to trash. What a great way to remember my thirtieth birthday. Not to mention the margaritas that didn't even taste or feel like they had alcohol in them besides the extra shot tube I got for mine. I'm extremely disappointed that he spent $80.00 on a crappy night. I would love to have my night replaced with good cooked food.

Texas Roadhouse management during interviews. bentonar. 72015

01/23/2018.I interviewed at the Benton location. Upon arrival, I was seated with two other managers. I proceeded to turn my phone off. The questions were simple. Do i own pets i had been to the dentist. While I was filing out the papers, I was asked several questions. As I was about to go ahead and start answering. Sample questions were how i went above call of duty. I was met with silence when asked how homophobia is dealt with. I was called a queer and someone rubber my [censor]. I was told if i discussed any of this with anyone. Sincerely, Anthony W.

Texas Roadhouse disappointed in service

I was looking forward to taking my grandkids to Texas Roadhouse today since it has been a few years since we have gone, and I was very disappointed in their service. First of all, we placed our order and our drinks and rolls were brought out. Later on, my salad was brought out before my meal. Everything was fine up until I brought my grandkids to the restroom. After we returned to our table, it had been completely cleared of everything! We were only away less than 5 minutes. So I let someone know, and the waiter brought us more drinks, and eventually I got another salad. After awhile, he brought out our meals, and informed me (after the fact) that they were out of baked potatoes. So I told him I wanted mashed potatoes. I was halfway finished with my steak and had to ask a second time for my mashed potatoes. I also had to ask for more silverware to eat with since that was taken away earlier too. I was very unimpressed with the service and won't be going back anytime soon. I was kind of surprised that I had to pay for that meal since the service did not meet my expectations. I was not the only one experiencing issues with the service today; the table behind me was disappointed as well as I could here their complaints. I feel that someone in upper management needs to take a look at this place and see what they can do to make improvements. I'm pretty sure they would have been embarrassed by the service that their customers were receiving. Many improvements need to be made before losing too many customers.

Texas Roadhouse my job as a hostess

I'm a hostess at Texas Roadhouse in Erie pa. I just want to say that the managers there are absolutely horrible to the workers. It's a lot of favoritism there and it's not right. The one night I had to do meatcase and the hosts never do meat case to fill it up the grill people always do it and since I didn't know how to do it I told my manager that I didn't know how to do it and she flipped out on me and then made the grill guys show me. When I was finally putting the steaks in my manager Paige came over and brought servers over to watch and laugh at me like I was a show. It was very disrespectful. Also when you ask them to check your side work when you're closing they don't end up checking so we're there forever and I'm also a minor so I can't stay late and wait around. Also they give us breaks when we do not need them because we would only be working 3 hours.

Texas Roadhouse horrible service even worse quality of food.

First if all let's start with the greeter, we are literally the only people on the restaurant and have to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated.
Second the bar tender was atrocious. It took ten minutes for the head on my beer to go away.
Third this place got my order wrong no big deal right? Let's fix eat and be happy. Wrong medium chicken is apparently a thing in this location.
So many times during my meal there where 4-6 people standing at the greeter station, at the same time people where waiting 10-15 to be seated. Why? There where so many open clean tables and so many people standing around doing nothing.
CHI KEN BLOOD IS DELICIOUS.

Texas Roadhouse waitress

On Friday, 29th of December at around 5;00 pm we arrived at the Texas roadhouse on Purdue road in Taylor, Mach. We were sat in a back section of a fairly crowded restaurant and our server was a girl named "Mia". It was a party of 3, Myself, my wife and my grandson. We ordered beer x2 and coke for my wife. AND THEN WAITED... after a longer than usual time our drinks arrived and Mia took our order, My Grandson ordered country fried chicken, myself was the pulled pork dinner with mashed potatoes on the plate, chill with cheese and my wife ordered the smothered chicken. My dispute was with my wife's order, this is how the order was given by me and understood by Mia: She (my wife) wants the smothered chicken with the jack cheese on the chicken, onions on the side and cartelised, and no portable mushrooms, baked potato with extra butter no sour crËme a house salad with no tomatoes and Italian dressing. The meal was delivered by the kitchen staff, My waif's smothered chicken was a smothered chicken dinner ( NOT WHAT I HAD ORDERED !) We waited for Mia to come back to our table, but Mia was busy with other tables and either ignored or didn't hear our calls for her. FINALLY I took my wife's order to the kitchen and explained to Jacob (kitchen manager) and explained to him what I had ordered and how I wanted it to arrive. The order was fixed and brought back to our table by Shy. Mia did not return to our table at all after that, no apology for the disorder and no apology for her lack of concern about our visit to your restaurant. I like Texas road house and we have been coming to this store since it opened. We like the food at your restaurant, and up until this time we have been happy with your service and your managers, BUT we will not ever get this waitress again... SHE DOESN'T CARE !

Was Mia still present in the restaurant? They may have removed her from your table since she made a mistake.

Texas Roadhouse waitress confronted group about her tip

The waitress (Donice) at the bowie texas roadhouse confronted the group in a threatening manner about her amount of tip she thought should have been greater. This server attitude was terrible, we had to wait at least 15 mins for water and bread we repeadily asked for. The food took her forever to get because she was too busy doing everything besides servicing our table but, servicing other tables around us. We gave het a small tip which she still didn't deserve and she walked up to the group hollering and asking why she got a $4 tip and she was ready to fight. This was threatening and unacceptable. I spoke with the manager and she was not interested in what I was saying nor the fashion in which her waitress acted.

Texas Roadhouse customer service/policy

One of the worst dining experience last night at Texas Roadhouse on US 192 in Kissimmee FL. Spoke to the MOD Whitney, she did her best to justify why my cheeseburger was sent back 2x's & came back burnt, no cheese one a new bun. I asked her if she put my half eaten burger back on the grill where other food was being prepared and her comment was that "the grill is 400゚ so any it can kill any bacteria or any germs on the surface" I asked why couldn't I just get a new Burger and her response was "this is our policy We do not give out a new Burger if it's under cooked only if it's over cooked" Wow! #lostagoodcustomer #revamppolicy

Texas Roadhouse steak not prepared as ordered.

The place was crowded on Saturday November 25, 2017. My husband's meal was the only meal prepared correctly. Three of us waited over a half hour for them to prepare another steak. By the time the steaks were returned to our table our sides were cold. Brandon the manager at that time asked if we wanted more sides. As it was late and we expected to wait another half hour for more sides we declined. My husband was already done with his meal. We would have liked to eat our meals together. Brandon did not plan to give us any money back even though we could not eat together and the food was not prepared to an acceptable standard. Eventually my husband complained again and he did give us $5 off each of our meals. We have enjoyed many a good meals at your Dickson City facility. We have been looking forward to this Texas Roadhouse opening in Wilkes-Barre since we live 5 minutes away. Not sure we will return.

Food was cold. And not as much as you would get if i dined in. The pulled pork was burnt and dry. And the ribs was also burnt and dry. The potatoes was cold and veggies . The frys was soggy and just couldnt ate much of it at all. This is the worst service ever. My bill was almost $50. And very upset that i spent that kinda money on food we couldnt eat. I will let other know not to order food from online . You dont get what u pay for nor what u expect.

Texas Roadhouse service/training issues

We went to the new location in Alpha/Talbott tn and that had to be the worse service ever ! We have been going to Texas Roadhouses for years ! But when we finally got sat down tonight our waiter never came at first we probably sat there about 20mins at our table before my fiance got the waiter behind us and asked for aleast our drinks because we hadnt seen anyone except all the 10 girls piled in front of us as your walking in the door where they go to sit you also seemed like a manager or a shift leader was in the middle of them. But the waiter that did help us in the meantime with our waiter being lost somewhere seemed like he was the only one in that place that knew what he was doing and he was the most repectful one also ! I completely understand that it's a new location ive worked in restaurants for years and Im a manager myself but they need to get it together before you all lose anymore customers because we will never be back at this location I would rather drive the extra time to go to the one in knoxville then to deal with that service ever again !

Texas Roadhouse dancing

Our food was horrible last nigh. Server was very polite and there was no charge for our food. My baked chicken was cold but I'm just wondering why do you have the servers attempt to do a line dance? It's distracting and the look on their faces is clearly stating that they are not into the dance. Maybe two of the group knew the dance. Music is too loud. We learned our lesson and probably will never return. ☹️

Texas Roadhouse waitress/host

Yesterday evening, some friends and myself dined at Texasroad house in West Monroe, Louisiana. Upon entering, we were not greeted by the host. Once sat, we were introduced to our server, Gabby, who was very rude! I will most likely not be coming back to this location. However, the young man Deshawn, who brought our food to the table was extremely nice! He smiled and held small conversation while placing the food on our table.

It's important to be more specific when writing a complaint. What did the server do that was rude? Did you ask to speak to her manager while you were there?

Texas Roadhouse accommodations

If you have more than four in a party you are seated at a table for 6 at a table for 4. With no room at all to walk around the table. We were so uncomfortable we couldn't enjoy our meal. The restaurant wasn't busy. It is a Wednesday. So there should be exceptions made. People all around us were bumping into us while we were eating spilling our food all over us everytime they went by. I would not want to come back to eat because of this reason. Your supoosed to enjoy yourself when you go out to eat and I'm sorry I didn't

Texas Roadhouse unacceptable behaviour from a manager

On Nov. 1, 2017, myself and my daughters went into the business in Montgomery, Al (East Chase). The waitress came over to take our drink orders and she asked for my daughters ID, one of them had her wallet stolen and therefore she only had the temporary paper state issued ID until she get her hard copy, when she showed the waitress her id she said I don't think we take paper id cards my daughter asked her why it's me, the waitress say I can see your information but let me ask the manager so we waited the she returned and said the manager said no, my daughter asked to see the manager. Once the manager came around the corner and say that we were black his whole facial expression changed. Blaine came to our table didn't great us didn't speak he just said yes, I looked at him, so my daughter asked him was it a Texas roadhouse rule about the id and he said yes, at that time I took over the conversation. I asked him if it's a rule of the establishment then let me see it, he replied I don't have to let you see nothing and it's a state law if you want to know then you find it and read it, I said ok I can read because I'm not dumb, being that he had and attitude and those nasty prejudice attitude, I told him if she weren't black he would have taken the paper id. He said get out of my establishment so we left. On the next morning I called corporate on the 2nd of Nov. and spoke with Julie last name start with and H she just got married so I cant' remember the last name. I explained the situation to Julie and she looked up the information about what manager was there that night and the manager was named John, so blane is not only prejudice but a liar as well but, Julie promised me that she would have someone higher up than her to call me by Monday Nov. 6th but nobody did, so this past Monday I called and spoke with Julie she told me that the complaint was in HR I didn't understand that once again Julie promised to get back with me but didn't, I called her back on wed. Nov. 14 and got her voicemail and left another message but no call yet.

Issues for this complaint are twofold: 1) Deborah never clearly states what she wants from the complaint and 2) state law really does limit how alcohol may be served when minors are present. Paper IDs can be too easily copied and if they are caught breaking said rules, there are heavy fines and loss of a liquor license.

It doesn't sound as if it had anything to do with race as the policy was stated without seeing the person.

Replying to comment of Shaun R.

I want an apology from blane for his unprofessional attitude, you wasn't there to see his whole facial expression change when he came around the corner and realized we weren't white. My daughter's ate 24 and 22 grown women. He could look at her and the picture on the temporary id card but he was so angry to the point that he leaned down in my face to ask me what I said when I made the statement about him being racial. Blane had no right to be in my face. I see you didn't address the fact that he lied and said he was the manager and he wasn't. He also followed us out the door when he put us out some manager skills he got.

Hi Deborah.

I appreciate reading your reply. You're correct in that I wasn't there which, admittedly, could make a difference. However, the information you've provided, both in the initial complaint and in your reply, bring up a couple of questions.

To begin with, in relating your rendition of what took place, the waitress explained they were not able to take the paper ID. She then went to a manager to ask and, again, returned to the table saying the same thing. It was then that your daughter asked to speak to the manager directly. This is when you suggest he 'came around the corner and realized you were black.' So with respect, it would seem that everything prior to that moment suggests he was relaying to you the general policies without knowing your race. Am I wrong?

Then you've just stated that your daughters are 24 and 22. Legal drinking age in Texas is 21. I will guarantee that most people are not equipped to judge an age span of 3 years, let alone that of a single year. This has nothing against you personally, but anyone providing alcohol would be making a dire mistake to not I.D. your daughters.

I also wouldn't blink an eye at this Blaine being a manager. Many establishments have more than one manager and definitely more than one manager on duty at a given time. Just because a corporate call center suggested one person was a manger and the name of the person who was addressing the issue was someone by a different name, means very little. He was at least being addressed as manager by the waitress who was taking care of your table.

Please excuse me if I'm wrong, but then you suggest "if she weren't black he would have taken a paper I.D." Based upon the fact you're suggesting that he didn't know a race until "he came around the corner" and prior to that he had relayed through the server twice that he couldn't take a paper I.D., it would seem just the opposite. In fact, in this instance, you seem to do yourself an injustice to even bring race into the discussion. Does one get to sidestep policies or laws because they're considered a minority?

Very sincerely and respectfully, if I was in a similar situation as Blaine, I'd have likely done something similar. I wouldn't have "gotten in anyone's face." But I may have said, "Look. I'm sorry, but I can't serve alcohol to a table where I'm not able to determine minors are not seated. If you'd rather eat someplace else, then I understand. Please do so." I just know the state departments which regulate alcohol licencing are extremely 'sneaky.' They'll place someone in the establishment which is underage and have them looking like they're in their 30s. Establishments which have been provided a licence to serve alcohol have to be rigorous -- if not, they can get in a great deal of trouble.
