service
On Sun, May 13th I visited a Texas Roadhouse location for the first time at 2475 Barrett Creek Pkwy, Marietta, Ga. I had placed on order online for pick up at 5pm. I arrived 10 mins earlier paid for my order and waited for my food. A woman came out and told me they dropped my food and were in the process of remaking my food. She gave me a discount off my meal and refunded $5 and some change to me. My total was originally $14.83. I waited in the car and someone brought out what was supposed to be my order, but it wasn't. It was a hamburger, when I ordered Grilled Pork Chops. I took it back inside. I went back and waited in the car after a few mins someone brought out my order, but it still wasn't completely right. The mixed vegetables were missing from my order. Finally at 5:25p I had my complete order and left the restaurant. I have no complaints with the taste of my food; however I do have a problem with the service. Due to all the issues incurred with my order I feel it should have ended up being free not just discounted.
unethical behaviour
on 05/13/2018 we checked in at 12:50pm with a party of 15 and was told that it would be about 40-45 min. wait for the size of our party, we got seated at 2:38 only to find out that we had to be seated in two different rooms. I understand that you may not have a table big enough for 15 people, but the fact that we waited over 1:30 min. only to separate our party into two different tables in separate rooms is unexcitable. The fact that we were willing to wait, in order to be seated together to enjoy each others company, only to find out that we had to sit at different table is not cool. We should have been told that your restaurant could not accommodate us so that we could have gone some where else. our bill was 182.00 at the 1st table and over 100.00 at the 2nd table. I would like someone to contact me to see what can be done.
call ahead service
It's Mother's Day and I used their Call Ahead Service which isn't a reservation but "the next best thing" according to the host when I called. Since I never used this type of service before, I asked how long before I wanted to be there should I call and was told 1 to 1 1/2 hours before. I called about 1 1/2 before and got my confirmation number. Arrived to the restaurant and saw an over abundance of people waiting. When given the confirmation number, we were informed it probably would be about 2 hours wait. We left and my Mother's Day dinner was ruined. What is the point of the "Call Ahead Service" if you're going to be faced with a 2 hour wait when you arrive? This may work fine on regular nights but Texas Roadhouse, you might want to start implementing the good old-fashioned reservations on special nights.
service/ manager on duty
Took my mother in law to the Johnson City TN location for Mother's Day and was told it would only be a 30 min wait, we sat there for over an hour. When we asked why so long a wait, we were told they were waiting on a table to leave. Still waiting and asked for the manager and she was so rude it was ridiculous. We told her the situation and even told her several parties that came in after us had already been seated and she didn't say anything but rolled her eyes. Then I asked if she could seat us in the next 5 min due to having 2 small kids with us and my father in law being a diabetic. By this time we had been there over an hour and it was after 8:00 p.m.. The manager said no! We left and will never go back to that location again. I want that manager fired cause she is NOT a manager!
cold bread no butter upon arrival
Server came across rude then calls manager to explained to me why at the age of 46 I have to show a ID to drink wine with my meal manager comes across table rude as well stating this time she would serve me a drink I would have stay but the server and manager we talking about me in front of other customers very unprofessional and embarrassing in front of my peers party of 5 it was my Birthday thank You Texas Road House for training Your staff
Bad service
quality and quantity of meal
My first complaint about my visit was they were out of rolls, and butter, and did not have to go cups. Secondly, I ordered one full rack of ribs(as my receipt reads) with a side of fries, and I also ordered an extra side of fries. I ordered a raspberry tea to go and they gave me 2 kids to go cups. The ribs and fries I was given was not adequate for the $25 that I paid. I will include a picture of my ribs, and the fries I was given. Very disappointing.

I live in SLC, UT, I always go to the location on 5400s. I feel I needed to write to say I had the best service from a waiter named Ed. I eat out allot, and he was amazing, the great ones don't get the kudos like they should.
You should have him train others.
And the food was the best that we have ever had there, we were there on Friday 20th, 2018. Please give a great big thank you to this store. 😆 you guys beat longhorn hands down.
hostess
April 19th, 2018 I went to go eat with my boyfriend at roadhouse which I've never had a problem with there's always great food but the hotess were rude and ugly. When we were getting seating we clearly said table for Two and the hotess says "oh you mean table for one" while laughing to the other hotess and referring to my boyfriend. I choose not to cause a scene even though it was disrespectful. I vented online so my friends can know not to go and then some of the workers threatened me.. which these screenshots will show. I will never go to this roadhouse in corpus christi again.
call ahead seating and service
I called at 4:00 PM on Sunday, 4/15/2018 for "call ahead seating" for a group of 8 to celebrate my sons birthday with our family. My son picked the restaurant because this was his favorite place to eat. I asked for 5:00 arrival time.
We were all there by or before 5:00. Waiting area was full, and we were standing because there were no empty seats. That was not a problem at all. When we arrived, the girl told me it would be about 20 minutes, that they were waiting on a group to leave, and then, they could seat us. Waiting area cleared out completely and at 5:30-5:45 I asked again, and she gave me the same answer, but this time pointed to a different area of the restaurant, to which she said she was waiting on guest to leave so she could seat us. Meanwhile, the waiting area filled up again, and at 6:00 I asked again, how much longer, and received the same answer. I did notice several large groups coming in after we got there, and were seated soon after arrival. I feel, we were overlooked and others were seated ahead of us. About, 6:15 pm, we were seated. After, calling ahead for seating, 1 hr and 15 min of waiting, with 3 small children, all under the age of 4 years old, who had filled up on peanuts, and were getting restless from the extended wait time, they seated us. The service was only average service, with us having to ask for more water, tea refills and more bread.
I did speak to the manager on duty at the time, and all she would say was, she was sorry and that the call ahead seating does not guarantee us a spot on the list. She said we go on the list once we get there. So, I would have been just as well off, waiting to put my name on the list, once I got there. The call ahead procedure didn't do anything to help us get seated any quicker like we expected it would. The manager did not do anything other than apologize for the extended wait.
I totally understand that Sundays is probably one of their busiest days. And we still expected to wait, as much as up to 30 minutes, but not 1 hr 15 min.
We frequently go the Texas Roadhouse in Horn Lake MS, and always call ahead for seating. We have never been overlook nor has it ever taken this long to be seated.

unethical professionalism
My company Top Notch Cleaning Solutions has been cleaning one of your facilities located in Bowie, Md for 3 years. On 2/5/2018, Rob Wakefield and myself signed a 60 day termination agreement regarding cleaning services. Today, 4/13/2018 I received our last check and we were not payed for our last three days totaling to the amount of $235.73. The 60 days would end on 4/5/2018 but Rob said he would have employees start cleaning the facility on 4/3/2018 so he did't need us past the 2nd of April. According to our contract the 60 day termination agreement is just that, 60 days. Regardless of whether or not he wanted us to end 3 days beforehand is regardless, and was his decision. He is still responsible for the other 3 days. After going above and beyond doing free cleanings, cleaning the new added section for free for the past 3 1/2 months with the guarantee we would be renewing our contract in May along with specialized cleanings for him because of claims that they couldn't afford it, and due to our 3 year long lasting relationship with your company, we appeased him and did the cleaning. For Mr. Wakefield to make the decision to not honor the contract speaks volume to his character and the ethical business of Texas Roadhouse as a whole. We have conducted free advertising on our website, social media, etc. for your company and even tried to conduct fundraising for my son's sports teams as well as bring in more business for your company and Mr. Wakefield completely disregarded it and said he didn't want to do it. We have been very honest, hardworking and tried to boost business for your company because of that relationship. We would like the remainder of our money in the amount of $235.73, and anything anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
missing sides
We are long time customers of TR and rate it very high. We tried to made an adjustment a number of years ago when you decided to no longer have baked beans as a side. I kept thinking you would bring them or come up with something similar but you haven't. Baked beans go with BBQ, ribs and steak so my question is why you don't have them as a side.
While the baked beans are my biggest complaint I will share a suggestion as long as I'm writing. Myself and many friends are trying to cut back on carbs and your sides does help us. A couple of side suggestion would be broccoli fritters and coleslaw.

management
I a writing today after an incident that occured on the evening of 32418. First arrived your east side Madison WI. Location . There was a 10-15 mim wait before a table would be ready for supper. My boyfriend and I went to the bar to wait. We ordered a drink.I had an e-gift card of which the bartender said would be just fine to use.She rang it up gave me the e-card and reciept back which showed a balance left of 38.66 -2.00tip =36.66balance left...We then ate our meal that came to a total of $59.59. I knowinf this wouldnt cover the entire amont with the card I gave the waiteress both the e-gift card and my debit card. The waiteress took both...When she retured to table told me there was a 0 balance on the e-gift card..I explaned what is said in the above ...She told me that she ran it a couple of times 0 balance. She was sitting and exlplaining . I wasnt sure what she was thinking ...Im not sure what the bartender did what mistake was made I had presented the receipt with the total bar bill 11.34 +2.00 tipp. And the remaing card balance 36.66 remaining...I then ask to speak to the manager. Ryan Scott. Ryan came over after talking over a bit with waitress. Said to me how he we had an issue at hand regarding the billegift card. He explained how the debit card that the waitress ran carged the entire amount. of 59.59. he apologized for that .Ryan did leave and returned to say ...yes that there was 36.66 left and that he reran my card to c edit back the amount...There was no credit receipt of whi h I was concernd about. He said it may take a few says to see it return to my account. I asked if he would write somethinng too that affect on the receipt. He would not as this was hapening the person I was with got upset regarding the issue was then told to leave by the manager...I remained at my table trying to understand it all. After purhaps 5 min I ask that the waitress request for the manager return...Ryan never came back. Another amount of time passed by. I left the table noticed the waiteress Ask about why Ryan didnt eeurn she said she asked him to return to talk with me. I said he never returned...She was standing next to a different Manager of whom I explained the issue and how I spent nearly an 1hr of my time for a mistake made by the eastablishment. He said he was sorry for what happened and would make it up with enrree certificates. I felt that was a nice way of making things right. He left to get them...never to return! As I waited and waited...Ryan walked right by me I trid to get his attention the hostess saw this and got Ryans attention and pointed to me saying that I was trying to get his attention...I had mentioned to him that He never returned a how the waitress didnt know why? And that I was waiting for him to bring certificates. Ryan then told me that he told this other manager that he was not giving me anything! Because of the attitude of whom I was with. I explained that that was not me that I never did anything to get him upset I worked calmly regarding the mistake made by the establishment. I really feel that Ryan should have tried harder to make it better as the other manager had evert intention of doing . I did nothing wrong I did not cause this mistake but because Ryan was ofended by whom I was with even after the person left.I remained there he didnt want anything to do with me. I did nothing wrong..Ryan made it seem as if this was my fault..He I believe is wrong in that...
Overcharging gift cards must be a policy at Texas Roadhouse. The same thing happened to me in Rochester, MN. This is unethical. I have submitted a complaint with Texas Roadhouse, but if I don't get some action, I will take this further. Very poor customer service.
fundraising
I recently contacted Texas Roadhouse in Johnson City, TN about holding a fundraiser for someone in need of help. She has had multiple medical problems and her child had surgery last week for tethered cord syndrome. She has had issues with bills since she hasn't been able to work but a couple days this year. She is a single mom and I wanted to find a way to help her. The managing partner met with me and seemed to agree to help and took my contact info, though he already had it. They have ignored every attempt from me since. If you weren't able to help, then don't give false hope. I had already told the girl in need we were planning to help out, and now I'm not sure how much we can help. She has been backed into a corner by not being able to pay bills, not working, struggling to provide for her daughter and being a single mom with little support.
disruptive and aggressive customers.
I have visited and had dinner many times at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Mansfield TX. Approximately 8:00PM this evening (3/21/18), while having dinner in the bar area, 5 individuals entered and insisted that I and other patrons make space for their group at the bar. An argument with one of your other guests, along with vulgar threats and possible physical violence followed. Your restaurant manager threatened to expel everyone involved, but the hostile group were then allowed to remain and continued to be hostile to other patrons. The couple next to me (husband & wife) conveyed their disappointment to me and decided it was better to leave your establishment before it got violent. This aggressive group continued to agitate folks around them, and I also decided to pay my bill and leave. I personally like the manager at this property, but he should have asked this new group to wait for an open table or space in the bar area, and allowed your seated guests to finish dinner!
the food at this restaurant
On March 10th it was about 15 people went to eat at texasroadhouse in Mckinney tx. The Server was Kayla. The steak, salad, bake Pot. was not good at all. That was my first time coming there and it's my last time to as well. I told her about the food and nothing was done. The steak was very dry, the salad had way to much dressing and the Potatoe was very stringy. I have never had such bad food and service. I did not leave a tip. I can be reach at (214) 475-3675
My Name Ms. Ansley may card was charge $14.81
No one cared to fix the problem. I call back and have not recieved a response from the them. Your cooperation would be appreciated.
God Bless Ms. Ansley
quality of food
Ordered a bacon cheeseburge in the restaurant & one to go for my son. It was the worst bacon cheeseburger I've ever had. I let the waitress know & she apologized. The service was great! I spend $30.00 & couldn't even eat the food nor could my son. Just wanted to let someone no. Usually I have no issues with Texas Roadhouse. Not sure if the kitchen was having an off day or what. Thanks, Jill
service
My family and I was celebrating my mother in law recovery and wonderful news of beating cancer. She loves Texas Roadhouse. We use the call ahead seating function that you have available, thinking with the number of family that wanted to share in our celebration would be a great idea. So we called at 3pm to call ahead for a 5pm table for Eleven people. We arrived by 5pm and was not seated till 5:40pm. If it wasn't for my mother in law, we would have left. We did talk to the manger and the issue was swept under the rug like we were idiots. Very disappointing. Now our waitress Brittany was amazing. The food was acceptable. The restaurant was the 1221 Boardman Poland location. The date was 03/10/2018 the number on the receipt is 20065. The phone number is [protected].
entry
Today, at 5:00 pm, I went to the texas roadhouse in baytown, texas. I was in a party of eight and a baby. When we first arrived, we signed in and were told it would be a thirty-five minute wait. That was fine. After waiting forty minutes and the buzzer not going off, we went back in. We were told to wait an additional twenty minutes. We were officially up an hour. Twenty minutes had come and gone and the table still was not ready. We really wanted to eat there, so we waited in the waiting area even longer just talking amongst ourselves... It had been an additional thirty minutes. We were hangry. And honestly pissy. Who wouldn't be? We talked to three different people. They were not willing to be helpful at all. We suggested splitting up. Nope. We suggested two tables that were clearly seen close together. Nope. They didn't offer a damn thing, and surely not gratitudes. I've eaten at this texas roadhouse several times, but today, they have really sucked a sour nut.
bacon cheeseburger and baked potato
Microwaved bacon on my bacon cheeseburger, do it the right way, microwave bacon is disgusting. The burger had way too much salt. They don't serve real butter on their baked potatoes, read up on margarine it's awful for your health. They called their whipped margarine a "butter blend" which is funny because there is no butter in it at all. Very dishonest.
poor and unethical services
My Name is Ruth E. Hudson. This letter is to complain about the service we received at the Texas Roadhouse in Hunt Valley, MD. We Called Texas Roadhouse on Saturday March 3, 2018, at 4:35pm to make reservation for a birthday party of 18 at 8pm, was told that they couldn't accommodate a party of 18 but could give us 2 reservation 1 for 12 and the other for 6, we said that was fine. Our 1st party arrived at 7pm and was told that they did not have reservations and there would be a 4 hour waiting period. We explained that we call at 4pm and was given 2 reservations, the reservation numbers were 8813 party of 12 name Jerome Harris and 8814 party of 6 name Juanita Carroll. Getting no satisfaction from front desk hostess, we asked to speak to the manager. The Service manager, whose name was Casey Dennison, came we asked was she the manager and she said no the manager whose name was Jeff Olzacki was in the back cutting meat and she could help us. Casey Dennison apologized for the mix up and said she would honor our reservations. In about 10 minutes, 6 of us were seated. We notice that everyone that was waiting after us had been seated. Where we were seated were 3 empty booths, 1 was vacated for 10 minutes and 2 tables which would accommodate 4 people at each. We asked couldn't our parties sit back here and was told no that was too much for 1 waiter. Needless to say we didn't understand and became more frustrated. I told 4 people to seat at the table that was vacate for 10 minutes and another four to seat in the booth behind us. The party that was seating in the booth behind us was told they had to move and were seated in another area and replace with other people. Not understanding I asked why couldn't that party sit where they put our people who had reservation at. We were spread out all over the building with the birthday girl sitting in the front nowhere near the rest of us. The people who sit at the tables near us where all given different waiter and I asked why they couldn't do that with our party. Finally after sending another person out to find out the problem I informed her it didn't matter because I was writing a letter to corporate office and that is when Jeff Olzancki came out, which didn't resolve anything. I hope this this not how you continue to treat your customers. requesting refund
