Texas Roadhouse customer service

Came in Saturday because Monday 1/16/17 was my birthday and got an email from TX Roadhouse to get a free appetizer, since we came in there was not bread brought to our table until my oldest son ask for some, I ordered an appetizer and we did not get our appetizer after we all got all of our meals, When the food was brought to our table and I cut my stake to make sure it was well done my husband was eating his steak so when I noticed that my stake was not well done I instead of complaining I checked my husband's steak and mistakenly the gave my husband my steak, it was a quick switch but it was an inconvenience. I did made my server know but she was smiling saying that it was an easy fix, When I got my receipt to pay the appetizer was still on my tab, I did made the server know but it seem that it was not a huge deal that just to take off the appetizer . Is inconvenient to have this poor service for the price of our meal.

I had the pleasure of attending the Pensacola, Fl restaurant this evening. The service was exceptional (Tie was my server) and she was friendly and attentive. The co-manager was Haley and she came twice. Once to find out how my service was going and once upon my request after my meal was served so I could give her and independent customer rating. I prefer ice berg lettuce and not the "wilted" lettuce that is so popular now. The ice berg was in the middle of my salad so it was fine. The rolls were not warm enough for the butter to melt on them, but they were OK. The food was great. I got the roadkill steak and it was delicious, cooked perfectly along with the baked potato. The server was very friendly without being cloying and so was the co-manager. I left with the wish that someone would had a crane to get me to my car, because I ate too much. I know, being a supervisor of 15 years, how you wind up with all the complaints, some well deserved some nasty. But I think that people with pleasant experiences should say when they get good service as well. Mine was good, professional services and good food.

Texas Roadhouse service

I am a 54 year old single customer that works on the road as an Investigator for a personal injury lawyer. I'm not looking for a free meal or gift card. I eat at Texas Road House and that particular 1 at least 3+ times per month. Yesterday, NY Eve I went in at 3:15ish and had drove there from my last app. in Rock Hill. So I passed a lot of restaurants to get 2 my home restaurant where they know me. I tip well and last month bought $100 worth of gift cards twice. I sat at the bar and Bobbi asked what I was drinking I told him but then said I want water and to order because I havent ate since 9am this morning. He gave me a menu which I don't need because I know it inside out and he knows I do. He procceded to do other things and then other bar patron who heard me say I was hungry decides he needs to get his bill so no problem I walked out. I tip excellently and get treated like that. i won't be going back. I got there early. It was not that busy. i'm a regular who spent over $300 in Dec there and I get treated like a sucker. That location can't miss because it's between 2 hotels. nothing worse than a biz that makes money by accident. they forget the 1st rule is to service yr customer. especially a steady. Two Notch ran much better when Jordan managed it.

Texas Roadhouse service food quality

On December 16, 2016 we decided to go to Outback in Longview Texas. We arrived around 9pm. Our party included 4 adults, a six year old and a 4 year old.

We seated immediately. The restaurant was not busy.

After being seated we waited for 15 to minutes for our server to come to the table.

We placed our drink orders. 15 minutes later our drinks arrived.

We placed our order and waited for at least 45 minutes and still did not have our food. Our server walked by our table, I asked if she could check on food. She proceed to tell me that the way kitchen worked worked was to place partial orders were placed under the heat lamp waiting for sides to be prepared. By this time we have 2 very tired and cranky kids still waiting for their dinner.

Our meals arrived serred asked to cut out steaks to make sure they were cooked correctly. She left the table before we could answer.

The server did not come back to our table to check to see if we needed anything.

We had to flag down another server to ask for check. We waited for another 10 minutes for our check. The server left the table again

We waited for another 15 minutes for her to pickup the ticket and payment card.

As all of this is going on, there is another group of servers sitting behind us. They are having personal conversations waiting to leave for the day.

When the service is this bad and food is below par, it's disturbing to other employees sitting in booths chatting instead of helping to serve customers.

I did not see a manager at anytime. I would recommend they train the waitstaff and do training kitchen staff.

Worst experience ever at Outback.

Texas Roadhouse food service and waiting time

A party of four had to wait almost two hours to be served the entrée after already waiting over an hour to be seated. Granted, they were very busy but we saw people who came in after we did and a larger party be served and ate and left before we were served. The waitress just kept bringing us our tea and water that we ordered and had no explanation as to why our food was not ready. When our food finally came, (only after I asked to speak to the manager who never showed up) it was luke warm and some of the order was missing. I asked again to speak to the manager and he/she still did not show. We shortly asked for the bill, got boxes for our food and left. Obviously we will never go there again. The waitress apologized as we were leaving but that's all we got. We all couldn't help but wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that we were black! hmmmm!

Of course it was because you were black. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact they were busy, others had reservations, your orders were different than the ones served before you, etc. It all came down to your skin color.

Texas Roadhouse poor service

Recently went to texasroadhouse with my friends and we ordered some meals and drinks.
When I made my order I told the waitress that I don't want onions in my burger. I told her that I have an allergy and can't stand onions. She said that it was not a problem.
So we spent a great time there, everything was delicious and super tasty. But then I felt sick and rash started to appear on my skin. I called the waitress and she said she was very sorry and forgot about the onions. The entire party was ruined. I had to take a taxi and go home.
I'm very disappointed with texasroadhouse! I really loved the atmosphere there, food was amazing, music was great, but it seems like they really don't care about the customers. Well, I feel upset that texasroadhouse employee did not pay any attention to what I said about my health condition. Poor service.

The first time my wife and I had the prime rib dinner at Texas Roadhouse was perfect. The meat was cooked rare all the way through. Tonight we were looking forward to the same experience like we had the first time we ate it there. The place was full as usual for a Saturday night. The staff were friendly and the order took a little longer than normal...

Texas Roadhouse cold food

Tuesday Aug 18th Me VivianNoel, My cousin Samella Calloway Donna Williams and her son Shamar came to eat dinner. My cousin and I decided to share4 piece cat fish in case we didn't like it we would get something else. Ask for it to be fried extra crispy. Didn't bring it that way neither the fries. Fries were limp. Didn't fry them at all. So yes we will take both back and fix them just the way you want. So why ? Tell me why? Would you bring me back the same fish you took away 15 minutes ago cold and think it's going to be ok? And think I was not going to say one word? Oh and give her a free meal. Cause that's why black people come in here and complain for anyway. No it is not alright. I'm a diabetic. I needed to eat a long time ago while you all were playing jokes. So finally the manager steps in. Time to take the fish to go. Brought us some fish and fries so hot we couldn't eat them. Then the waitress brought us some rolls that weren't even cooked. I have a picture of them. No I was not charged for my meal but I was disrespected.

Texas Roadhouse incompetent manager

I was dining alone and was about half way thru my meal when I started coughing as I was choking on a piece of food. My server came to my table to see if he could get me anything - I asked for a drink of water, which he brought. I was still coughing so I went to the bathroom to take care of myself, when I returned, my table had been cleaned and was ready for the next customer. My server immediately returned and apologized for his co-workers mistake by clearing the table. I told him that he saw that I was coughing so I went to the restroom to take care of myself - he said that is what he thought but the cleaner had cleared the table. He asked me to sit down while he went to talk to his manager about the situation. He returned and asked if I wanted another meal - it was BBQ chicken and a sweet potato. I said no that wasn't necessary as I was half way through it - could he please just take something off that purchase as I was preparing to leave anyway as I wasn't feeling like eating any more at that time. I thought that like 50% off would be less than another whole meal as I was half way through it - it makes sense. He said 'sure' and he would check again with his manager. He reappeared and said that his manager said 'that he would be happy to take 10% off my bill for the problem.' He asked me if that would be ok? I laughed and replied 'not really' but I just wanted my bill so I could leave as I was still slightly coughing. He came back again and said that the manager had decided to take 30% (employee discount) off since 10% wasn't that much, due to my dinner only costing $10 - I said 'just please bring me my bill so I could leave'. He did and apologized once again for the situation. I paid my bill and left a larger tip for the server as he was caught in the middle. I do appreciate the discount but in my opinion, that MANAGER should have come right out to me and discussed the situation and the choices of resolution as it was HIS employee that made the error not the SERVERS'. I travel for a living and had a great meal at that same restaurant last week as it is across from my hotel. I have always liked and frequented Texas Roadhouse, if they are in my area of travel. I hope for many reasons that the situation doesn't repeat itself, but in any situation it is up to the MANAGER to be the personal contact with the customer in any situation! I believe this one requires additional management training!

Texas Roadhouse temperature inside restaurant

On two different occasions I have visited this restaurant, and the temp was so cold I left for another restaurant. Each time I ask for the heat to be turned up because I was cold. Nothing was done to correct the problem. Other customers were also complaining, and Manager(s) did nothing to improve this problem. Think you should address this problem. My latest visit was 12-27-14 @ 1800 hrs.

Texas Roadhouse horrible service/ poop fly in my food

On 9/16/14 I went to the restaurant for my birthday. It was the worst service ever. I had to get my own utensils. No dinner roles after requesting. The waiter had an attitude. Rolling his eyes for everything. I was rushed the entire time. The floor was being swept right near my table and I had to step on trash to leave. Then I found a fly in my food. I feel that this cruel treatment was because I am Hispanic. I have been feeling sick since...

It’s takeout, you want the food fresh eat it there or perhaps they should bring all the ingredients to your house and prepare specifically for you at your home.

Texas Roadhouse rude

A few friends were meeting me there for dinner like we do about twice a month. I was there first, very few cars in the parking lot, on a Thursday about 5:30. I asked for a table for 5 to 6 and they said I needed to request a table once all of my party arrived. I said I had never had to do that before and the child working there pointed at a sign, looked at me like I was stupid and talking to me like I was stupid said "if you can read right here our policy states we won't seat you until your entire party arrives". Mind you, I COMPLETELY understand this if they are busy like on a Friday night. Since I was allowed to walk through first to see if anyone from my party was there (which wouldn't have been policy if they been seated without me), I knew they weren't even half full. Her attitude triggered my temper and I said "if my friends weren't already headed here, I would tell you to kiss my a**!". She said she could get a manager and I told her no thank you because I'd probably tell him the same. Of course I realize I was wrong for using bad language. But she could have handled the situation a little more politely. Anyway when 5 of my possible 6 party arrived, they still wouldn't seat us. We had to wait for the 6th person that we weren't even sure was coming! Asked for a manager, took another 5 minutes for him to get there, he explained the same dumb stuff and finally agreed to seat us after I told him we would never come back. After a few more minutes he returned and asked me if I said something derogatory to the hostess and I told him what I said and he told me I couldn't do that. I said we can leave and he said we needed to and I told them all to kiss my a**! Bad business. They just recently changed their entire staff and they need to train these children not to talk down to the customer. Once again, I was clearly in the wrong the FIRST time for the bad language but meant every word the 2nd time. Btw...there was another very unhappy customer waiting for his spouse before they would seat him. Ridiculous.

Texas Roadhouse longer wait

I went to Texas Roadhouse and ordered take out the cashier told me 20 minutes my food would be ready, I went back to check on my order 20 minutes after I placed it. 2 other customers came in after me, one 10 the other 20 minutes, and they received their order within a timely fashion. The cashier just kept saying that it was coming up and she was going to get. Continued to wait, it was not until I contacted the girl at the counter that I wanted to cancel my order because it was 45 minutes, for chicken fried chicken, salad, and potato, which was ridiculous. Horrible customer service, I will not be coming back.

Texas Roadhouse very poor customer service

My family and I went to the the Texas Roadhouse in Kingwood, TX. We ordered the 10 oz prime rib and waited. After 15 minutes the waiter came back and said that they ran out of the prime rib... No apologies or anything of that sort but just "we are out of prime rib would you like to order something else?". So my daughter ordered a 10 oz fillet medallion, I ordered a sirloin, and my wife ordered a 10 oz ribeye - all with salads. Our salads came and my wife's Caesar salad was bland, my vinaigrette salad was served with vinegar and oil. When our steaks were served, our daughter's steak had the wrong sauce on it, peppercorn instead of mushroom and my wife's steak was medium, not medium rare! The manager came out and we complained. She apologized and said that she will talk to our waiter. After all that, the waiter came and said "I guess I screwed up the order huh?". Again, no apologies! I can't believe it! We received a full bill like nothing happened. We are not coming back to Texas Roadhouse again!

Ashley: Steak has gone up in price here over the past 4 or 5 years, but worse than that, the quality of steaks available is such that in order to get a good one, you have to be careful where you go. They run about $18 - $20 for a 12 oz ribeye; T-bone about the same, in the chain steakhouses (that includes salad and a potato). I'd say that these days, a T-bone is more likely to be of better quality than a ribeye. In some grocery stores you can occasionally get a good one pound steak (weight uncooked, thinner than usual - but sometimes quite good) for about $7 - $8. So I usually just buy one and cook it myself. Strange as it may seem, Outback (which once had horrible so-called "steaks") now has very good ribeyes and porterhouse steaks and they know how to cook them med-rare (they cook them differently than they do the mediums) - priced about the same as Texas Roadhouse. This is true for the one in Rancho Mirage, CA, anyway.

It's always a good idea to check with the locals on where the best steaks are available wherever you are. Often its a non-chain that serves the best ones...especially these days.

Texas Roadhouse (Roseville, MI) used to be a good place to go for a reasonably priced steak of at least moderate quality. Last year or so, the steaks are of low quality, and the last two times overcooked (I like med-rare). The steaks were gristly and mostly fat and connective tissue - even if you choose one from the front case. Flooded with a bunch of people who wouldn't know a good steak from a bad one. They're just "gettin' otta the house" ...and couldn't care less about the food. Bah! Downhill.

Texas Roadhouse $3 iced tea

I can imagine as you saunter into the trh you immediately get that "down home" feeling of the old south; the magnolias, the grassy fields with bluebonnets, the sound of george strait droning on and on... And gosh, ya think, a glass of iced tea is just right for this coozy lone star atmosphere.

Fyi that glass of iced tea you order here is three dollars! Not the bubblin' crude and not skyy on the rocks: iced tea. And oh, by the way, the waitress doesn't know this, and she can't find it on those deceptively "informative" menus that sit at the table and shout out all this stuff about the drinks. The price isn't on there.

But if you put the visitin' aside for a minure, when they bring back your bill look at it - before they bring the pay copy out. (You get one chance to see what you are paying. Just remember that.)

The menu is reasonable, and there are much better things these days then the steaks for whatever reason... But order it with ice water unless they give ya mineral rights.

I knew I almost always order ice water with a meal, and there is a reason;, yeah I know why...$1.75 coffee, $1.89 cola... Nah, I pass on that. But my gosh! Three dollars for iced tea! No way jose.
