I purchased a German Shepherd pup from this breeder for $1500 in March 2016 in Waxahachie, Texas. The pup has full AKC registration. The breeder guaranteed this is a healthy pup, and said he will replace pup if there is hip problem. I didn't realize this kind of health guarantee doesn't do any good or protection to me. I just simply trusted his pup is as healthy as he claimed.
In Fed 2018, I paid almost $600 to get my dog OFA X-ray exam after she reaches 24 months old. She was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia. I contacted with the breeder and sent him all X-ray films and document. He told me the dog will have a normal life, and offered me a replacement. But, the dog will not have a normal life with hip dysplasia, and I will potentially pay big money for her hip dysplasia in her later life. Also, I will not trade her to another pup, she's one of the family already. Obviously, the breeder knew this when he gave the health guarantee. No one will trade their own dog for a NEW pup. This breeder treats dog as merchandise which I can't do it. With this health guarantee, I got no compensation but a hip dysplasia dog. He said he offered what he offered me when I picking up the pup. I didn't realize when he said "replace" literally means to return my dog and get a new pup. I requested a refund, but he refused and didn't reply my message. I messaged him the vet said the dog's siblings may have same problem. of course, he didn't reply at all.
Text messages from mx100. Offered her replacement and she refused. She wanted money back and to keep the dog. There’s nothing wrong with her dogs hips. If her vet thought they were bad then he wouldn’t have sent them to OFA for evaluation. As to AJ I can go on for days about him and how his dog jumped off a parking garage destroying his elbow. He’s also a felon. All our puppies receive the required vaccines, wormings, vet visit for health check, and come with shot records. There is nothing shady about us. We have been doing this since 2008 and these are our only two complaints. Read the complaints and you’ll see both admit to being offered the warranty but they refused. Xu Yue could have retaken xrays and passed or just exchanged the dog. We would have evaluated the dog for the right home and probably charged a very reasonable fee for her. Having her full sister she probably would do well in a home with small children needing a protection dog
Don is shady, rude and a liar. He lies about health checks, vaccines, worming and his hip guarantee. He has 8 lawsuits he has lost due to his dishonesty.
I’d like to know who you are? Please post the proof of my shadiness and lawsuits. That’s right you don’t have any. Says a lot about what I produce when another breeder has to make up lies to get more business.
The first dog in question had good hips. X-rays could be done again when the dog is within heats. and she would pass. I offered the buyer a replacement if she returned her and she refused and wanted money back and then started insulting me so I stopped responding to her. I have this dogs full sister and she has OFA good hips and normal elbows.
Ajs dog jumped off a parking garage and I feel that’s why his elbow was so bad. He notified me after his warranty expired and I still offered him a replacement for the return of the original dog.
Both were offered my warranty of replacing the dog if they returned the current animal. This was in my guarantee. All spelled out. I have purchased puppies that developed Ed or hd. It happens. If you buy something at a store and it breaks you must return it for a replacement within the warranty period. I honored my warranty terms. I won’t respond to this anymore.
Mamas thing happened to me. I bought a male from him and the dog ended up with elbow displasia. I was told to send the dog back and I would get another one at his choice of when. I couldn’t believe this is how he handled the situation. I was supposed to pay for the dog to be shipped back. I couldn’t believe he expected me to send a dog dog back we had silence 8 weeks. He is a terrible breeder with regard to animals. Don Harris is his name.
