DO NOT BUY

Ok, damn, I really wish I had googled this company before I gave him my credit card. Sure he sent the test cd's but as soon as I say that it was windows vista compatible, and the copyright was [protected], I knew I was probably out my 215 dollars. The call seems so genuine, and the "oh I forgot to mention the 15 dollars for shipping" should have sent up the red flag. There is no www.testprepservices.org so pretty much all of the phone scammers promises are garbage. I disputed the charge on my credit card in hopes that I'm not out the 215, I'll be glad to send these garbage CD's back to them, I'm afraid to put one near my PC.

DO NOT BUY

TestPrepServices.org fraudulent marketer of test prep software

If you have been a customer of ira pupko who is doing business as test prep services in temecula, ca you are probably wondering if you have been had and if there is anything you can do about it. The tps business model is pretty simple – they market their software package through telemarketing calls making dubious claims for it; the package is viewed by many as grotesquely overpriced and unusable and they return it immediately. Tps then ignores all requests for refunds and keeps your money. Our experience with tps is equivalent to the many other testimonies here, so rather than belabor that, we'll focus on a few potential solutions:

1. File a complaint with the riverside county da. Here is the form: http://www.rivcoda.org/opencms/daoffice/Units/SpecialProsecution/SPSFolder/SPS_ComplaintForm.pdf
Send it to: riverside county da, 3960 orange street, riverside, ca 92501, atten: special prosecution section. The more who bring tps to the attention of the da the greater the chance of preventing future customers from becoming victims. Judging from the many stories documented here, tps appears to be a classic example of a fraudulent business that needs to be brought to the attention of the da.

2. Dispute the charge through your credit card company. Be prepared to document your attempt to procure your refund under the terms of their refund policy: http://testprepservices.org/about/refund-policy/. in general, you can expect to be given a provisional credit which will stick as long as tps is unable to prove that they have already sent you your refund.

3. If you don't mind making a trip to riverside county, open a case with small claims - http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/small_claims/file.shtml and http://www.courts.ca.gov/selfhelp-smallclaims.htm. send your form to small claims clerk, 30755-d auld road, murrieta, ca. 92563. Be aware that in general, small claims courts do not award travel reimbursement. However, there are exceptions at times. Carefully document your loss including travel expenses and make your case. You may get a sympathetic ear. Note that winning your case does not mean that ira automatically pays you. You may need to learn about collection procedures. See the links above for more info.

4. Find an attorney who will open a class action lawsuit – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_action. judging from the many testimonies here, there appears to be a good sized class of victims of tps.

General tips:

As evidenced by the many stories here, one tactic employed by tps is to respond with hostility to requests for a refund. This is calibrated to elicit an emotional response from the customer, which they then use as an excuse to have nothing further to do with you. Do not respond in kind, stick to the facts.

Your requests for a return authorization number will often be ignored for a while. Document all of your requests with time and date. Print off any emails you send. If you don't receive a ran in a timely manner, send the product back anyway. Keep your tracking number and get a record of when it was delivered. A merchant cannot prevent a customer from complying with a return policy by refusing to answer the phone.

Good luck.

TestPrepServices.org sat prep - will not refund money due to "cash flow problems"!!!

We returned our test prep product that we purchased for $214 within the 30 days and the customer service team acknowledged it had been received. For several months we have tried to get a refund and have been given the run around including the excuse that they have "cash flow problems" . This company is unethical and has zero integrity!

I'm in the same boat. :( I don't know what to do. My credit card company couldn't do anything because I waited too long to contact them. I filed with the Attorney General of my state, but they didn't get anywhere. I live across the country from California, so that's not an option.

TestPrepServices.org returns and bad product

Complaint description:
After returning incompatible cds following all return instructions, company denies ever receiving them despite usps validation. Thus no refunds. Test prep services contacted me on 4/11/16 stating my 16 yr old child had expressed interest in their product of 10 cds to help improve test taking skills, college application prep. Etc. My child denies speaking to anyone on this topic and they did not explain how they got this information. 100% return guarantee was offered as explained in the website as well. Fell for the scam against better judgement. Payment $214.90 by credit card on 4/11/16. Gave exact specifications of mac computer requirements. 4 cds were not compatible and the other 6 would not load. They told us to keep the non-mac cds and just give them to someone who might need them and they would send us a new package. We declined because the mac cds didn't work either. Returned cds via usps following all instructions. All correspondence after this was by email with mr. Mike long ([protected]@gmail.com) as the phone line was solely a voice mail that was never replied to after several days trying. Email dates are numerous on some days but took up to 10 days to respond other times only after a request for reply. Mr. Long now denied receiving the package stating "we've had many problems with them (The postal service) in the past" and "the postal service has messed up a lot lately" I contacted the temecula post office and obtained all the tracking and reporting forms as well as the gps coordinates of the delivery truck on day of delivery. Sent them all to mr long and he still denied receipt and demanded more proof of delivery. Temecula post office mentioned they had the exact problem recently with another customer returning a package to this address. I asked mr long if he had contacted the usps or his mail carrier about these "many problems" they've had and he wouldn't respond. He stated the gps coordinates of the mail truck were not his address and this was not proof of delivery. Informed him that mail carriers usually do not stop at every house, they park and deliver in the area and that the carrier obviously does not have an on body gps or mailman camera to prove he delivered correctly. When asked how they got information on my child, a minor, he stated "someone in your household must have given it. Totally false. (Why would I give information on my child to a stranger, much less an unsolicited caller) basically, this company offers you a product under false pretenses preying on parental instincts of helping your child after illegally obtaining information on them. Sends you a cheap and unusable product. Upon return, they deny receipt so they don't have to send a refund. I've filed complaints with the usps postal inspector and will be calling the fbi regarding their gathering information on my child.

TestPrepServices.org this company is a scam

They called us claiming our son signed up and was interested in their products and services.
We were also told there was a 30 day guarantee refund policy.
The number they give you as well as the email address is not valid nor did they respond to any voicemails left or emails sent.
We called within two hours of purchasing the services over the phone after we found out that our son did not sign up as they claimed he had done.
When we called it was automatically sent to a voicemail where we left two messages requesting to cancel the purchase and get a refund.
They proceeded to still send the product and avoid all of our emails and voicemails.
We had to file a dispute with her credit card company.
Once we receive the product in the mail we immediately refuse the package and returned it to the sender or they refuse the package when it arrives at their address.
Buyer beware do not believe them if they call you and claim your child signed up and showed interest in their services.

TestPrepServices.org advertised phone sales positions

I responded to advertisement on craigslist for phone sales. The two (2) individuals, mike long and ira, both refused to provide a company website, documentation for new hires, etc, when I asked. Ira' s response was to refer to me as a "f... " weirdo, via a text message, for requesting this information.
As a result, I have alerted craigslist that this company appears to be fraudulent.

I have had a similar experience to all of you here! Someone called and told me my daughter had requested the information. He high pressured me into buying it. It took me 4 days to finally get someone to call me back to get a return authorization number! When I told him I wanted to return it he accused me of hindering my daughter's success on the ACT and SAT tests! I returned the package and now he's saying he never received it! What a scam! I wish I had seen this website before because now I will never get my money back!

Do Not Buy from this company...They are fraudulently selling outdated software and will not honor their return policy. The CD set they are selling is only compatible with Windows 98/XP 32 bit machines. They have no software compatible with Windows 10 or 64 bit machines. The software will not run correctly and they will not honor a refund based on false advertising. (The software also appeared to have been used previously...). The company representative was very rude and hung up on me when I mentioned the BBB. This is very disappointing from an organization that is suppose to be educating youth!

TestPrepServices.org vocabulary masters sat/act college test prep series

I got a call from test prep services telling me that my child was interested in their services. I decided to order it. More than half the disks didn't work on our computer. I called and left a message, they returned my call while I was gone and left a message saying that my trail was up but that they could send me a different program to replace the ones that weren't working. They claim you have a trial period starting from the day you receive the product. I called before that time was up. According to them they allow 5 days for the product to get to you but it doesn't matter if the 5th day is a sunday it still counts. So they only gave me 4 days for shipping but I know it didn't come in the amount of time. I emailed back and forth with mike burch or mike long (His email has both names) arguing that I was still within my trail period. There was no way for me to prove when it came because I was on vacation and there was no tracking number and I didn't have the packaging anymore to show when it was mailed. But I know it didn't come in those 4 days. Mike said they would send me the other program. After 5 days I told him that I hadn't received the new program and that it proved I didn't receive the first program in that amount of time. His reply was that I never agreed to them sending the new program and that I was rude to expect it in 5 days when this was a totally different situation. That he was going out on a proverbial limb for me and talk to his boss, but he generally save those for people who are polite and nice. I never heard from him again even after replying asking if I was going to receive the new program. I decided to call my credit card company and opened a dispute. The rep could not believe the way that he treated me by telling me I was rude to expect them to live up to their claim that I received the first set in 5 days. I checked on my dispute this morning, I won the dispute and I have received a full refund. Thank you discover card for sticking up for me. Stay away from test prep services! They are scamming people left and right. Their program might be good but as you can see from other posts a lot of people get programs that don't work and if you want to send it back they give you the run around, claim you are past your trial date even though you aren't and want to claim you are rude for sticking up for yourself. Learn from all of our mistakes.

TestPrepServices.org sat prep materials

This company is the biggest joke I have ever dealt with. We called to cancel after we had been charged- and BEFORE it was ever mailed out. They never answer the phone! Left numerous messages and when we finally got a call back they were extremely rude. ZERO customer service. After doing some research (which we should have done before we ordered it) found out they have an F rating with the BBB. We left messages to cancel the order on Thursday, the shipping label wasn't printed until the next Sunday night and not mailed until Monday. They insisted we cancelled after it was mailed. Maybe they are completely computer illiterate, but there are ways of tracking everything. I can understand if it's a big corporation, but this is operated out of a home! Took almost a month to finally get them to acknowledge that we sent the materials back. They said they had no one by our name in the data base, even though I gave them the person that paid for it and the student. Four days later they find it under my daughters name and said we never gave them that name- talk about just plain stupid- the emails showing I had given them the name were on the same email strand! This company needs to be shut down. Still haven't seen my refund, but they said it has been sent back to my bank.

TestPrepServices.org act / sat prep

I actually do not have a complaint because I was really satisfied with Test Prep Services. My son and daughter both used the study program and from the second week of using the tutoring cd-rom's we were already seeing improvements in all the subject areas of the test. For 199.00 for two students to be enrolled in a prep course is unheard of.Im not sure why people are complaining, possibly they did not follow the directions in the box when it got there or did not follow the website.Anyways both of my kids scored much better after using this program!Highly recommended

$214.00 Act/Sat college test prep series. Was given 100% satisfaction guarentee. Guarentee my child would improve 4 points. He did not.I tried multiple times calling the [protected], I just get the same recorded voice. So, I sent information certified to the California address. US Postal service said they'll leave certified slip to notify them within 10 days to pick up what I sent. Well, no pick up & no call. Mr. Patrick Davies failed to finalize the deal. Lack of customer service here. A scam indeed. I will let a lot of people know about this one! Taken advantage of our children should be a crime!

I had a similar experience! The Cd's didn't work on our computer and when I contacted them, I was told that since it was past the 35 days that he couldn't help me and wouldn't send a replacement. I've called the customer service # and left messages several times but they won't call me back. I've emailed Patrick Davies asking for his supervisor's contact info and he won't send it to me. This is definitely a SCAM!

TestPrepServices.org deceptive practices

This company called me on my mobile phone indicating affiliation with my daiughter's high school and informing me that my daughter had ordered their test prep set of DVD's and they were calling to arrange for payment. Stupidly I agreed to give them my credit card number and arrange for shipping of the product.
I told the salesperson that if my daughter did not order this program -- it was coming back. She told me that would be no problem. They charged my card with $214.90 ($199.95 "special promotional price" plus $14.95 S&H). When I finally found out that my daughter had no knowledge of this product and had definitely not ordered anything like it -- the box had arrived. I knew this had to be returned. The sale was done under false pretenses and was clearly deceptive. I blame myself -- I should have known better -- but it was for my high school aged child -- who is planning to take the ACT and was considering various study aids.
I called customer service -- no-one picks up -- but an e-mail address is provided. I immediately e-mailed and informed them that the program was on its way back -- a quick response told me that I needed a RAN -return authorization number -- I was actually at the post offfice at the time and I responded for that number -- which was supplied. The customer service agent was actually reasonable and cooperative -- and asked me to reconsider before making the return -- and even offered to talk to my child about the product.
A few minutes later I started receiving strange, rude and offensive e-mails from an IRA PUPKO (apparently the CEO?!) from [protected]@roadrunner.com who had obviously been monitoring my discussion with customer service: The CEO?! really? (These are copied and pasted from my e-mail box)
Message #1 Tell to go suck a camels ###
Message #2Sir, I've had quite about enough of the exchanges. We will not be crediting back shipping, report away. And if you interpreted what was said to you in a particular way, well, not much we can do about that, is there. No question mark at the end of that last sentence as it's rheterical. Have a great day, and best of luck to you folks. IraTest Prep Services

Is this the type of company anyone should be buying anything from?

Be forewarned... Similar story here... I was called today told that my 10th-grade son had filled out interest form at a college fair. After asking some questions about the program and fabulous results that the guy described, I put he guy on hold to question my son. He DID NOT request any info from anybody at anytime. The man accused my son of LYING. Then said perhaps he requested info in lower grades, like 8th grade, two years ago! That would make for a very delayed sales pitch! I said I homeschooled him through 8th grade and he would never be in a place to fill out a request. The man got flustered. I said remove me from the call list and he hung up on me.

Occasionally, a customer is SO very ridiculously unfair in their expectations, and simply refuses to accept a rational explanation as to why they can't be appeased, and there has to be a point at which the line must be drawn. It's clever that this customer invests imaginary emails to be vindictive. Well...not really...just sad.

TestPrepServices.org did not honor guarrantee/refund

TPS has acknowledged receipt of the returned software and
documentation. Customer Service has said refunds
are usually processed in 24 hours and says they escalated with
the accounting group but I still have not received my
refund. I have exchanged multiple emails with them
regarding the status of the refund over the past couple months
but all I get is promises that they will follow up, that it
should be paid soon, that they are sorry it is taking so long,
basically a long list of excuses but nothing is ever done. At this point it appears I will be out the $199.95.

TestPrepServices.org vindictive postings

In our weekly company meeting this week it was brought to our atttention that there have been some negative postings directed at the company i've been with for almost 6 years now and it's owner, ira pupko. The company is test prep services. I'm not writing at the imploring of anyone or anything other than my own sense of right and wrong and sense of fair play. And justice. I'm so angry at what I spent a few hours last night reading that I can hardly contain myself. I love the internet... It has changed the world. But there is a drawback as it exists today; people who for whatever reason feel the need to be vindictive can do so anonymously and therefore with impunity. Our justice system is in large part what makes this country great, and that justice system specifically states that the accused has the right to face his accusers. This is not the case on the internet, however, and i'm sorry but i'm going to open my mouth here whether i'm asked to or not. I will not stand idly by and let a couple of misanthropes libel the man i've worked for for going on 6 years, and the company i've watched ira build from the ground up by working 100 hours a week, brought down by the likes of a couple of vindictive misfits whom the company had the misfortune of mistakenly hiring. Given our model, which relys on the hiring of independent consultants to work from their respective homes after being extensively trained, the company must enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy with respect to how its agents comport themselves in all ways. The company enforces compliance with repect to how our product is represened, and in how the company is represented. In other words, we are expected to remain professional at all times and in all ways. Very occassionally, an individual proves to be unworthy of the position he has been entrusted with and is let go. Obviously, this can anger certain individuals, understandably, but I dare say that business isn't always like a day at disneyland and business is business and feathers can get ruffled. My boss does, in fact, have a bit of a temper at times, but he has always... Always been fair and honest with me, and he has always treated me with proper courtesy and respect and usually, kindness. I dare say that this is the scentiment that prevails within the company and though many, if not most of us work in our respective homes and have not met face to face, we have nonetheless been togehter... Most of us... For years and we do talk. Either through the predictive dialer we do business on or via emailing and/or over the phone. We talk. It is an absolute effrontery on ira and the company to post that this company is a "scam" or that ira is, as I read last night, "a homosexual paedophile from israel"... Several offensive things that people who know the man and people who have actually been with the company find offensive. I have always gotten paid on time and correctly. I would guess that everyone else here can say the same or they wouldn't be here.
I'm done... I have to be I have to get back to work, but shame shame shame on the people who must hold themselves in such little regard that they would not hesitate to slander and libel a man who I know first-hand works hard to do the right thing by the public and his people. Most of what i've read on the net is just plain vindictive and wrong!

My name is Ashe Griffin I am not afraid of identifying myself. All I know is that I was pressured to buy these CDs or I wouldn't be able to get them at that low price ever! I was guaranteed that I could return them before 30 days and get my $199 back, which was minus $14.95 for S & H. They charged me on July 29th. I realized that I wasn't going to use them so when they came I never removed the CDs from the package but repackage the product in a USPS box. I called and called with no answer or return call. I emailed twice and I finally got a #RAN. This was part of the return product policy. I insured the package and requested a signature when delivered. Tracking told me they tried to deliver but no one was available to accept the package. They could not leave the package because there was no secure place to put it. The USPS left a note. Test prep services continued to ignore the note which said there was a package to be picked up. I emailed them with the tracking information and told them their product was in the Post Office. They never picked it up for 3 weeks and it was returned to me the first week of September. I am going to send the CDs back and they should still refund me the money because I have written proof the CDs were delivered to them well before the cut off date. Their number is engraved in my mind because I called it so many times and you always get a recording - [protected]. My question is how do I successfully get my money back.

First, the problem that I have with your company is the marketing approach. I have received countless calls. You claim that my daughter had expressed an interest in obtaining your services. I asked her and her reply was that she wasn't sure. For that I get 3 to 4 calls per week. When I answer the phone I get disconnected. I work nights and sleep during the day. Your constant barrage of phone calls keep me from getting proper sleep.

If my daughter expressed any interest at all then you should mail the information in stead of abusing my telephone.

I do not buy from companies such as yours that have no respect for my privacy. 3 to 4 calls per week, that is excessive.

Sincerely,
Henry Pratt

I just got a call from one of these reps today saying that my 10th grade son had requested information. Luckily I had my computer on when he called, and quickly checked the website. The website looked fine, but while the guy was talking up how great this program is, I quietly checked the reviews. When he asked for my credit card number, I told him I was looking at the reviews, and was very concerned. He promptly hung up on me. Dodged a bullet there! Thanks for all the reviews everyone! They really helped me!

Be forewarned... Similar story here... I was called today by a depressed-sounding man and told that my 10th-grade son had filled out interest form at a college fair.

Enough of this nonsense! I do not have the time to go back and forth with Ira and all his lies. All one has to do is check out all the complaints under Dream Scholarship (Ira's precurser to TestPrep Services.org), Ira's reputation with BBB (check all his business ventures), The Dept of Justice state-by state, the District Attornies office in San Diego and for the Perris, Ca, State of California Labor Board complaints which doesnt reflect all the unpaid workers out of the State of California. Also, to get a true look at this psycho man's behavior ask him for a job and you will see for yourself what I and others have posted about him are true.

TestPrepServices.org scamming con artist

Dont work for testprepeservices.Org! They have you calling the same people over and over again even if you disposition the calls as 'not interested' or 'dnc'. Ira pupko and kristie whitfield keep telling you that you can earn a good living selling their crap and spinning their lies. Then when you do make sales there's no guarantee you will ever get paid for your time/sales. Only ira and kristie will know how many customers and sales reps they have ripped off. The sales reps are not able to talk to each other so its the perfect scenario for a con man to rip off his reps. Don't be fooled by them, stay far away unless you like working for no pay and selling a bogus service. Shame on ira!

I also worked for that jerk Ira. He is such a liar and a cheat! Maybe he's paying his workers now, cause he needs people to work for him, but I have connected with far too many people that also were not paid for their work. I belive everything negative I have read about IRA, I just wish I would have found it before I wentto work for him.
I'm willing to bet he's still operating the same way as people dont change what they are. He generally will cheat you of your sales and tell you you had cancellations or refusals and he will stop paying the rookies that are not making many sales and when he sees they are discouraged and not coming back to work he stops paying them all together. If you do buy into his lies that you can earn a good living... the truth is you can can do ok if you fresh leads, otherwise the hours required to make your sales is way over 50 hours per week with his old and bad lead. Ira is so cheap that he doesnt buy new leads often enough so your going to wasting hours and days calling and calling over and over the same folks until they are screaming at you to stop calling them. He also has a way of sending the new leads to his favorite workers so yes some of the long term people do make a good living and rack up sales quickly, but as new person you will be wasting days on end calling angry folks that have already told 20 other reps to 'STOP F... Calling us! Lastly, dont count on the fact you may have dispositioned the call as 'Not Interested' as that doesn't take that "lead" out of the system for Ira, he just keeps recycling them to see what fool can finally make the sale happen. I also suggest your check with the Department of Justice to see everything they have to say about TESTPREP SERVICES.ORG. Good luck Andy, you need it working for TPS.

I have worked for TPS for 4 years. I have ALWAYS been paid on time. I cannot in good conscience allow some lunatic to post this kind of blasphemy without remarking. It's AMAZING to me that a person can post, without identifying oneself, such blatant lies. TPS sometimes hires sales associates to work as Independent Consultants from their respective homes. They (we) are extensively trained so that we are QUALIFIED to offer parents worthy advice with respect to most matters SAT/ACT related. The company takes this space seriously and has ALWAYS been adamant about its' reps comporting themselves professionally. Occasionally, an individual who has been hired proves to be rogue or renegade in his or her approach to the job and TPS has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy with regard to this type of behavior, meaning that if discovered, a rep will be immediately terminated without warning. There have been a couple of those people who've sought "retaliation" for being terminated by posting malicious, vengeful postings on the internet. They irk me to no end and I can only IMAGINE how the subject feels about them. I'm going to tell you that the majority of Educational Consultants associated with TPS has been together for years and pride ourselves in our ability to represent our very worthy product ethically, professionally and ACCURATELY to the public. To the vengeful idiot(s) who have impugned our and Ira's integrity, I can only hope that your bad-faith attempt(s) to cast aspersions on Ira and the company are viewed transparently by the public as the mean-spirited blatant lies that they are.

IRA PUPKO OF TEST PREP SERVICES (testprepservices.org) IS A SCAMMING CON-ARTIST RIPPING OFF EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS ALIKE!

His BOGUS SAT/ACT product sells for $200! The equivalent can be purchased at Amazon for $10. He has employees harass the same parents non-stop, pretending to be educational advisors and following up on their child´s REQUEST for the product. All lies!

He also does not PAY his agents when they obtain sales. Claiming that they canceled or returned the product which the agent has no way to verify.

STAY AWAY! He is a creep act and I sure would not want him to have access to my children´s information which he purchases via his leads.

TestPrepServices.org scam

TPS SCAMS FAMILIES. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They scam people who work for them. Do not buy from them! Do not work for them. Dont even talk to them. Ira Pupkin (owner) and Kristie Whit (recruiter and #1 hag) are liars, cheaters and scammers with, from what I've witnessed and read, a bad reputation and no conscience. Ken Gardner and Spencer Perna (dont know if real names) are the lead sales callers. Report TPS to the schools your kids attend-that's where they get your kids names and ages. The schools allow SAT and ACT reps to ask questions and that information is sold to the scammers-the way I understand it. Report them to SAT and ACT because they attempt to imply a connection-888-5 SATACT is TPS phone number. They tell you 100% no risk and money back-read the complaints.

This true...also they give out fake conformation numbers. They have offshore accounts and never answer their phones...so doing a return is almost impossible. This comes from a former sales rep. Also their reps are at home contractors who have access to your credit card information. Do not do business with this company.

TestPrepServices.org tps is a fraud!! do not buy from tps!!

Received phone call from tps, advertising that they have the test prep materials on sale, and claimed that they knew my phone number because my daughter had taken the psat exam. First they asked for my credit card or debit card number, but I didn't give it to them. So the woman on the phone told me that they can take electronic checks on their website. I did the echeck under her instructions on their website at https://www.Testprepservices.Org/

I purchased a gold package for a total of $184.90; my online record of my bank transactions shows that tps has received my payment 2 days later. The woman on the phone told me that I have 30 period and may return the materials for any reason and get a full refund. Did not mention the $20 restocking fee and 14.95 shipping fee that they do don't return.

After the mail arrived, I was disappointed that it was not the newest edition (The thing is only worth about 30 dollars elsewhere) and thus immediately contacted tps for refund. It took me 3-4 e-mails until I got a response. Their phone number never works (Always says the voice mail is full). It was then that I was informed about the shipping fee and 20 dollar restocking fee, even though none of the package was opened. So my correct refund should be 184.90 minus 14.95 and 20 equals $149.95

However, they only refunded me $35.92 they claimed that they they only received $35.92 from me in the first place. I e-mailed countless times, showing them the receipt that they gave me and my bank transaction record several times. They still denied the fact I paid them $184.90

The funny part is, if I only paid them 35.92, why would they send their products to me in the first place? Yes, I even asked them this question through e-mails, so they told me that it was sent by mistake. Nice try, tps. Even a three-years-old would not fall for that lame excuse. (Also, since I did an electronic check on their own website, its not like I can choose the amount to pay, the payment due is set in stone, which was 184.90)

I knew they were trying to defraud me. So I reported them on federal bureau of investigation - internet fraud at http://www.Fbi.Gov/majcases/fraud/internetschemes. Htm; as soon as my complaint was accepted by the ic3, tps e-mailed me saying that they refunded me the remaining amount of $114.03, but still denied the fact that I paid $184.90, even though I have showed them every evidences. (They said something like:"sir, we went ahead and refunded you, even though we have no evidence on our end")

No money came into my account 3 days later, so I contacted them again. This time tps told me that my own bank rejected their refund, and asked me to contact my bank. So I called my bank and the bank assured me that since tps has already withdrew ($184.90) and deposited ($35.92) to my checking account, my bank would never reject their refund.

Again, tps tried to defraud me. Outraged, I e-mailed another 5 or 6 e-mails asking them to show some honesty and correct their business attitude. They told me that the only way they can refund is if they can talk to my bank with me on the phone. I guess they tried to create as much trouble as they can to stop me from requesting my refund.

So I called my bank and asked my bank agent to get on a 3-way with tps. After the 3-way was on, tps even said to my bank agent that its bank service shows that I paid only $35.92, so my bank agent assured tps that their company had taken $184.90 out of my account.

After that, tps went on saying that they are really frustrated because my bank rejected their refund, so my bank agent told them that would never happened because tps has already done transactions with my checking account.

At last, tps said their newest refund attempt is being reviewed and if it does not go through, they will hand-write a check and mail it to me. So 3 days later, my bank account received the rest of the refund of $114.03. The whole process took over a month (And yes, even though they tried to respond slowly and give me troubles so I am out of the 30 day trial period, I still managed to get my money back). If I did not do all the work that I did, my monetary loss would have been $114.03. Even though I did get back the money, tps has wasted me a lot of energy and precious time.

Tps is a fraud! They have no honesty or integrity that a proper business has. I had to chase after them for the rightful refund that I deserved.

The few attachments show the return policy that tps posted on their website; my purchase receipt that tps gave me; and a screen shot of my transactions with tps. The last screen shot show the final refund of 114.03 every piece of evidence shows that tps tried to defraud me and shows how long it took for them to finally refund the correct amount.

If you are unfortunately defrauded by them, don't give in! Try everything out there to get your money back, I successfully got my rightful refund, you can too. Just remember, their lies don't stand a chance, because you got all the reasons and evidences!

Again, tps is a fraud. Do not buy from them!

Test Prep Services(TPS)..What a farce.
Here is my experience with them. In September, my wife received a call stating that we had expressed interest in their program for helping future college kids improve their grades. In today’s competitive environment getting into college, she thought we give it a go.
We received the disks, but it wouldn’t load onto our iMac. After a few calls, got a call back from Mike asking to try another method. When that failed, I called and got a call back. At that time, I asked for the return number they insisted on using and sent the disk back via UPS. I was informed once they had the disc’s, they would issue me a check for the cost of the disk, but not shipping. A few weeks later, I sent an e-mail and called(Going to mention that whenever I called, I always got a recording, never a person) inquiring about my refund. I got a call back, stating that Test prep had sent me an e-mail, using the email address I sent from. (Going to mention that he stated he sent me numerous e-mails, none of which I received. I get spam email all the time, but can’t get theirs!). The rep stated they never received the return and for me to contact UPS, claiming a lost package. UPS had sent me an e-mail stating package was delivered. I contacted UPS, stating that TPS claimed they didn’t get the return. UPS started a lost package claim. After many calls back and forth, UPS sent me another notice that TPS did in fact receive the package, which I forwarded to TPS. Once more, I had to call. When I got a call back, TPS stated he knew nothing on the notice and that I filed a lost package claim. I kinda’ blew a gasket and informed him I had sent the UPS notice to them, at which time he admitted, “oh, that email” and that he forwarded it accounting to pay me. By this time, 60 days from purchase had passed. I called the CC company and they stated has 60 days had passed, they couldn’t do anything. In one phone call, TPS did give me an e-mail, which was bogus.
After getting more BS from TPS, I called my CC Company back, claiming theft and fraud. I told them the whole story and that I had proof the items had been returned. They sent me to another department and when I explain to them what happened, they stated they would start an investigation. I gave them the tracking number from UPS and faxed them the letter from UPS, stating TPS had indeed acknowledged they received my return.
Much to my surprise, a week or so later, I received a letter from my CC company stating that the full amount, cost of discs plus shipping, had been credited to my account.
I might add that whenever TPS called me, the number was always had an odd area code and didn’t take call backs.

I used a credit card to purchase and had no problem and my son checked off the interest at school to give us the discount for the program.Im not sure you understand that it takes more than four weeks to study for this exam.
