I signed up for a $25 phone calling card online and was put on the flex plan. I wasn't aware that Tel3 services are sold through multiple agents/websites and have different pr0mos/discounts. I am using the Tel3 account strictly through payphone use, therefore incurring mandatory payphone surcharges per call. I discovered two days later that a 30% off for 30 days was available and wasn't offered.
I requested a plan switch and charge adjustment, I was told a switch would be made in 2 - 48 hrs. It has now been over that time and now I am told it will be 48 - 72 hrs. for a switch due to one person in there development department, really? Not my problem
I talked to two so called supervisors and they said they would expedite the request, yeah, right!
I will be reporting Tel3 to the FCC due to this shell game of rate plans. I was expecting a reputable company, sorry it doesn't appear to be one. They accepted payment in less than minute and it takes over two days to effect a plan change, sorry UNACCEPTABLE, PERIOD!

When I asked my credit card company to cancel the Tel3 charges made on my account without my permission, Tel3 sent a letter full of lies, saying that I had refused all offers to limit recharging by third parties. I never would have refused any offer to limit recharging because that was my request in the first place. Tel3 is fraudulent!

Tel3 is a SCAM! I had an account with Tel3 for a family member who is a minor. Tel3 sends a message to recharge as one is in the middle of a call, and if you click yes, they recharge, without the authorization of the card holder. They have no legal right to charge a credit card with authorization from a third party. But they do it anyway. I have tried repeatedly to cancel my account with Tel3, for nearly two months now, and each time (if I can get through to them, which is rare) they tell me they've cancelled the account, and then they continue to charge my credit card. I just called two days ago again and they said they've cancelled the account and I insisted that they write this into the record, but for the past two days they have continued to charge my account every day, even though I have not made calls. They are using my credit card illegally, and I had to change my credit card number to stop them. Tel3 is a nightmare!

Sound to me like you should have shopped around for prices...why blame the company because YOU signed up for the wrong plan?
