BeachBody unauthorized charges

In May 2008 I ordered the 10 minute trainer and tried the vitamins. I cancelled the vitamins yet on April 20 and July 20, 2009 (!) they charged my card $38.87 - they said for use of their online program. I have never set up an account or logged on to any of their websites and by God, I want my $80 back!

In April of 2009 I ordered the entire kit from this company and before I even received the merchandise I was being bombarded with e-mail solicitations from other companies and their products. It appeared to me that this company made additional profits by selling web address, etc. Being frugal on limited funds, I wanted no part of any other "great" offers. But they decided I needed more vitamins and oh yes, let's not forget the website.

I called the company's customer service number and they issued me a refund for the current month of charges only (May 2009), because it was too late to for them to issue a complete refund of the original purchase charge of $201.06; but that they would close my account. On my next billing statement they charged my account again; and in all, this has happened five times with each charge being a different amount. (April-$201.06, May-$31.70, June-$26.45, July-$23.81 and August-$23.96 of 2009)

I have now paid over $306.98 for a product I never even opened. I had to cancel my credit card to keep them from continually charging my account, however, I am still pursuing my refund!

I ordered P90X in March 2009. We don't have a lot of extra money just lying around, so we saved up and decided to pay in full for the program ($119.85 plus tax/shipping). I talked to the representative at the time of my purchase about not wanting anything else but the DVD program and the Lifetime DVD Replacement for $9.95. Nothing else! He told me about the BeachBody Online Club and my free 30-day enrollment. I explained to him I did not want anything else that I needed to pay for in which he assured me he'd allow our first free 30-day membership, but not to worry about additional charges. I've just received my second mysterious BeachBody charge of $38.87. (the first charge my husband and I failed to follow up on).

My husband found this thread on Google, so THANK YOU Shiree for the (800) number. I called it about an hour ago and spoke with Jimmy. I explained to him the situation and after about 5 minutes of going back and forth he canceled the BeachBody Club Membership and refunded me both charges. I will definitely be paying attention to the account for any future charges.

Thank you again Shiree for a direct number. I hope all the rest of you will get a resolution soon.

I ordered Slim in 6 from BeachBody on November 24, 2008. My total order came to $77.71. This was for the Slim in 6 DVD Basic Package & Team BeachBody club - 30 day Free Trial. These charges were to be paid for over a 3 month period, which is approximately $25.90 per month, NOT the $38.87 that mysteriously appeared on my bank statement today!
At the bottom of my shipping invoice, received when my Slim in 6 package arrived are printed the words: You ARE ENROLLED in the Team Beachbody CLUB, entitling you to acccess all your VIP benefits FREE for 30 days--personalized meal plans, expert fitness tips, interactive diet tools, additional 10% member discounts, plus a chance to win up to $1, 000 every day just for working out in our WOWY SuperGym? You can cancel within 30 days of your purchase date to avoid nonrefundable future charges, but keep your recipe book as a free gift to enjoy. For additional support or information, contact your Coach or call Team Beachbody Customer Service at [protected]. Charges may appear on your bill as Beachbody or Team Beachbpdy. (Note: The Million Dollar Body contest and sweepstakes are currently available only to U.S. residents.)
OKAY, so here is MY question... Is there a monthly charge for the Team BeachBody Club after the 30 day FREE trial if one does not call & cancel membership within the 30 day FREE trial period?
HERE IS THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION: It has been 9 months to the day (today: September 25, 2009) that I purchased Slim in 6 from BeachBody & they signed me up for the Team BeachBody Club website. The charges that appear on my statement today are from TBBFAQ.COM BEACHB. (The invoice stated charges on my bill MAY appear as Beachbody or Team Beachbpdy). So what the heck is TBBFAQ.COM BEACHB? Is that the web site for the Team BeachBody Club? Why, yes it is! I checked it out myself. I assumed after the FREE 30 day trial period for the Team BeachBody Club was over, access to the site would automatically be revoked. So I did not cancel my FREE trial. I assumed NO further charges would be incurred. NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING & ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO THE FINE PRINT! AND don't forget to cancel your free membership because... future NONREFUNDABLE charges will occur.
READ ON!
GUESS WHAT ?! I just checked out the Team BeachBody Club website & discovered that membership is billed quarterly NOT monthly. This would explain those mysterious charges that appeared on my bank statement from BeachBody today. Quarterly membership is $38.87 & will be charged to your account every three months after the 30 day FREE trial has ended. FOR EX: I purchased Slim in 6 on Nov. 24th. So my Team BeachBody Club website membership FREE trial ended Dec. 24th. The first quarter of website membership charges began Dec. 25th to March 25th. The second quarter charges began March 25th to June 25th. The third quarter charges began June 25th to Sept. 25th. Which is today! IT'S EASY TO FORGET CHARGES TO YOUR ACCOUNT THAT ARE NOT INCURRED MONTHLY. SOOOO if the amount of $38.87 mysteriously appears on your bank statement from TBBFAQ.COM BEACHB...NOW YA KNOW WHY!

I wish I never heard of them. I have been going round and round with them to get them to stop sending vitamins etc and charging me for over a year. My post man told me to write will not accept in big bold letters and leave it in the box and the post office will return it to them otherwise I have to pay return shipping! Thanks for the phone number I will be calling everday to make sure my so called "account" is off their books. I also only ordered one thing and then all this other junk started to be delivered. I had to close my bank account and reopen another and get this they still send stuff...hope they don't try to send a bill in the mail because I am returning these just as fast as I get them also.

I agree fully, holey, !00%, absolutely, without a doubt, sincerely, and whole heartly. What the Hell are these people doing? When is our “Government” going to crack down on these bottom feeders? They let these companies get away with highway robbery while the poor working stiff is footing the bill. They send us to jail for far less!

BeachBody follow up to refund request

I contacted [protected]@beachbody.com...and live chat...live chat said there was NO record of my return...when I gave him all the shipping info...and the time and name of the BB employee that signed...it all magically appeared...I was promised my return would be in my account by end of the week. Messageboards also responded timely...and stated the same...

I did receive a Partial refund but the full amount promised.

As per my previous email...I was guaranteed a full refund including postage costs! I only received $63.44 of that...I was promised $77.17 plus return shipping $ $7.17 since I did cancel on the same day...but they told me to call the next day Monday to cancel since my order would NOT ship for days.

This was approved by a supervisor...and verified twice prior to me shipping the product back that was received March 31!

I have sent another inquiry to messageboards...but not gotten any response as of yet...

BeachBody wheres my refund

To: [protected]@beachbody.comI called in an order...then called back hours later to cancel. I was told I could cancel, but had to call Monday...and would be okay...since it hadn't shipped and wouldn't ship for days. I called first thinking Monday..and was told it already shipped out.

A supervisor authorized the shipping, and all of the $77.17 since I was given the information above. I verified this, and included a copy of the return shipment fees. I was also told that it would only take 3-4 business days to have the refund processed and back in my account. It's now been 2 weeks..and still no refunds.

This was returned and signed for by "Harris" March 31, 2009 at 10:32 AM.

Since that was 2 weeks ago...I would expect the return to have been processed and in my account.

I am having the same problem, I sent my return receipt back - because they signed me up and were charging me for all sorts of things I DID NOT order, like vitamins and crap. I returned my whole system UNOPENED within 30 days of receipt, and they credited my account 80 bucks out of 250? FRAUD - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from this company, they are liars and frauds.

****I needed to edit my original complaing because I had a typo**** The original price of the DVDs totaled $79.98 and the infomercial said 50% off the original price. So the new total would have been $39.95 plus shipping and handling******

I was up early on a Saturday and there was an infomercial on t.v (channel 110 which is Food Network (DISH t.v.)@ 5:30 am. The ad specifically mentioned that the price for this was 50% off the original price which was $39.95 plus shipping and handling if you call within the next 8 minutes (This included a total of 7 DVDs + the additional weight loss pamphlets). I called the number they provided on t.v. [protected] and talked to Sandra. Sandra said that on their computer systems she only saw that they were offering 2 CDs for the price of $79.98. A total of 2 payments of $39.95 plus shipping and handling. She said that she sent an email to someone to see if she could use something else since another customer had just called on the same thing. Sandra then got a response back and mentioned that she can only offer me the two DVDs at $79.98. I asked her, "Why would I as the consumer pay double than what was advertised for half of the price." She told me that I can call customer service between the hours of 10AM and 6PM EST on Saturday. I asked for a supervisor and she told me that one was not available. I asked her if she was the only person working in that whole building and she said no so i requested to speak to a supervisor or someone else and she said that no one is available but that when customer service opens, i can call them and speak with them to voice my complaints. I told her that this is false advertising. At the beginning of the call, she said that the call was being recorded. We'll see. This company online does not even have an address. They only have the option to call in. I am sure with all the scams that i have been reading and hearing about, they would not want to put their physical address. I think this is rediculous that a company has to run a scam to make money. With the economic situation the way it is, consumers do not have time to be worrying about scams especially when it comes to paying for money that has to do with improving their health.

BeachBody Do Not Do Business with them

This company is horrible to do business with and I belive are corrupt. Dont order any supliments or vitamins from them as they (without your consent) will keep shipping them to you on a regulary basis and charge your credit card you gave them. Even if you can get through to their customer service to try and cancel this (which you shouldnt have to do in the first place!) they will continue to charge your credit card fees under a name called Product Partners LLC. I have been on the phone and most of the time on hold with them many times trying to get them to cancel these false charges and they say it wont happen again but it does. They are mischevious and corrupt and should be investigated by BBB and State of California which I will file a formal complaint against them. The customer service rep will even tell you to call their Corp office number to get your issue resolved - how corrupt is that? They are practically telling you they cant do anything you have to talk to someone who is in charge at Corp to get a serious issue resolved that should have never happend in the first place! WOW.

BeachBody - Credit Card Charges

First of all, I love the DVD and the additional equipment that I received, but I was shocked when I checked my bank account this morning (approx. 31 days later) and found a $38.87 charge that I was not familiar with. BeachBody this company is a joke

That company is a joke. I have made numerous attempts to dispute a charge that the company made for a product I never received. I had no choice but to dispute the charge to my credit card company and ask them to change the number.

I purchased ProActiv when it was first advertised on television so I had no reason to suspect that I would be ripped off and my credit card charged.

So, when is the government going to start monitoring these companies. Are consumers going to be taken advantage, at least I can say that I learned my lessons. Never buy anything from a commercial that lasts longer than 40 seconds or the internet. Not worth the grief and frustration.

No the person meant that they had purchased a product previously in the same manner w/ no issues. However, they tried to get a refund that never came etc... I can see how you would misunderstand that too though, I did too at first! I'm looking into this and always want to know the good and the bad before...

BeachBody terrible company

Beach Body is a horribly dishonest company. The people you talk to on the phone are in India and either do not understand or pretend not to comprehend English. I ordered on line by mistake by simply pressing a key that did not say final. I immediately called and spoke with a gentleman and told him to cancel the order. He put me on hold then came back and said that he had stopped the order as it had not yet been posted and it would not be deducted from my bank.

I asked where he was and he said he was in India but the company was in California. I then asked him for a confirmation number and he repeated the above statement before pressuring me to place another order. I refused to do so because by that time I felt very uneasy and told him that if I changed my mind, I'd call back. I then sent email canceling any and all orders placed by anyone on my account.

Then, they took it out of my bank. When I called they said it had been shipped before I canceled (all within 3 minutes) the order.

To add insult to injury they took funds out of my bank account the next month for supplements that I did not order. When I have contacted them they have told me I signed up for these things. Finally when I told them I would definitely be taking this to the Attorney General in North Carolina they finally said they would not replace my money but would not take any more out of my account.

They need to be stopped. They are operating using unfair and deceptive trade practices and will stop at nothing to deduct funds from your accounts. They have no shame.

Since it has been three months I did not keep the email and they say I did not send the product back. No one should ever do business with these people.

Here's the thing: Their customer service lacks a lot. Yes, you could say it sucks! But as far as fraudulent charges or anything, I have NEVER had any issues. I have also placed multiple orders with them over the course of a few years. I do not work for Beachbody, I just ended up here because I am having problems with customer service regarding something on their website. Summary: Customer Serivce: BAD! Products: GOOD!

BeachBody Fraudulent business practices

Team Beach Body keeps charging your account.

Even after contesting their charges and contacting them repeatedly, their charges keep showing up on my credit card. Ironically, I specifically declined all other products and services when ordering their DVD.

The DVD was fine - but they keep trying to place charges on your account for things you have not ordered. No DVD, even if the best ever, is not worth all this hassle.

Absolutely avoid doing business with them! I plan to stay clear of them forever. Hopefully I can get them to stop charging my account...and you will be forewarned and not ever do business with them.

I just experienced the same issue after purchasing a DVD from Beachbody. I was billed for a quarterly membership fee which I never knew about or agreed to. They claim they will not charge me again but refused to refund my $41.80. I have contacted my credit card company and reported this as a fraud. I have posted on social media to help warn others. As a business owner I find this appalling! This company should be fined.

I am having the same experience In checking my recent credit card purchases I noticed a charge for $41.98. I called Beachbody and was told that I've been charged every quarter since December, 2013. They said that my initial purchase was a trial period. If so, then why did I not receive anything letting me know when my trial period was up and my card would be charged again. Just like everyone else, I was not aware of the charges, my mistake, or I would have attacked this earlier. I haven't heard from this company since spring, 2014, when I stopped receiving emails from my "coach." How fraudulent is this company! How deceptive and underhanded. FYI--the only options when you call are to speak with an inside sales rep, not to speak with any customer service. I'LL ECHO THE OUTCRY AGAINST THESE LIARS/CHEATS. REPORT ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT BEACHBODY WHEREVER YOU CAN. I'm reporting them to American Express and will hope that Amex will support my claim. Not only that, but no permission was given to use my card. Felony ring a bell? First answer from Isamar in "Escalations" was that this money paid for ongoing services. No services provided though. Also, that there was a box to check to discontinue ongoing charges either on email or in the invoice. Did anyone else miss that, or did Beachbody choose not to accept the answer! Isamar agreed to give a refund for 6 payments. I will continue to fight for the other 6.

The same thing has happened to me. They charged me online support when I NEVER agreed for this service. I told them to check my account to see that I have never been online. But they said anything over 30 days they will not refund. This company even stated that many people do not know they are getting online services! I will never buy anything from this company again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I will post this on every website to help all consumers to beware when they have your credit card information...watch for those billings from Beachbody for items and services you did not order.

I signed up as a Beachbody Coach in May 2013. I was happy with the program, DVD, and Shakeology. As long as they could auto bill my credit card, everything went smoothly. I looked thru the site to cancel my auto ship/charge. I had requested a hold on the product three months in a row, and the shipments continued. I simply could not drink enough before the next bag came. I contacted Customer Service to discontinue auto ship due to this. The first person hung up on me because I was unwilling to give out my SSN#. This is after holding over 10 minutes each person I was transferred to. The second person spoke so fast, and was so rude, I had him transfer me to someone else. I am very familiar with the different programs being a Coach, yet the Beachbody person kept trying to spin it around to confuse me, and I had to tell her how it worked. She even went as far to tell me to cancel my membership to get it over with. It became a yelling match, and all I was trying to do was not have five bags of product in my kitchen. Cancelling my membership simply increased the cost of the product, did not discontinue shipments, and I told her that about five times before she acknowledged I was correct. If you must have this product, get it from EBay. No matter what your "relationship" with your coach is. The stress dealing with people on the phone being so rude, being on hold for 30 minutes to just get another nasty individual simply takes away anything good Beachbody has to offer. Any further charges to my credit card for product after call date will be submtted as fraud to my credit card company. I am so happy that I decided to try the program for myself, see how customer service was when I called, before pursuing selling any product for this company. Again, if you MUST have the shake, it is on EBay, hassle free.

Same problem here, 4 cancellations done and they keep charging me and I will post this as many places as possible to get them a bad reputation. Class action lawsuits are for people like this, if they were so concerned they would cancel when requested. A friend of mine worked for Beach Body and pretty much confirmed it's a scam..

I have read your complaint above about Team Beachbody and the same thing happened to me. I decided this product was not for me so I returned it. It was 4 months before I realized they didn't refund my money. It took an hour phone call to a Brad Williams in India. He had a very thick accent like he was from India. I asked him about his American name and he said it was his phone name. Here we are in the United States and we are doing business with India on an American product. Needless to say, this individual was trying to make me think he was here in the U.S.A. This was very frustrating to say the least. I had to hold on the phone for a very long time and I could hardly understand this "Brad Williams"! Right! After a lengthy conversation he said he would credit my account $77.17. It took 4 months and and hour of my phone minutes and time and energy to get back what should have been refunded without asking. Why is it we must ask for what is due. Why can't companies/people do what they say and claim they will do. This was not the end. When I checked my account I saw they refunded $64.22 even though they said they would refund the entire amount including shipping for $77.17. I received the $64.22 on October 16, 2008 and on October 17, they took without permission $38.87 just like Philicia above. Thats what motivated me to post this complaint. I called the company again and this time I reach someone by the name of Massrel in Costa Rica. Imagine that! I asked her why did this charge of $38.87 occur and after some time she researched and said it was a membership fee. I told her I am not a member nor did I sign up to be and I gave nobody permission to charge my account at anytime. I was furious and let her know that they were being deciptive like so many companies. She says she will again credit my account. We shall see how much they keep this time!

I ordered a workout DVD over a year ago. And now i check my account and notice a charge i have never seen before. I know it was stupid of me for not checking my account but i never use my credit card so i had no reason to check it. but i saw that my balance was not changing so i found that i was being billed 38 bucks. and this explained a lot because i have been trying to pay off my credit card and i have been going over the balance and i finally know why. i emailed them hopefully they will call me ASAP.. i want my money back all of it. i have not even touched the online help from team beach body. this is ridiculous and i am angry. they could've sent an email or even called and let me know that my account was inactive. i mean i never went on the site EVER. i expect my money back.

BeachBody buyer beware

During their advertisements, they make no mention of their non-existent return policy or their continual raping of your account even after you cancel with them!

I just spent 2 hours on the phone with my bank getting my money back and now I'm going to the Attorney General and the BBB to make my complaints there. Dealing with these ###s at their call center that barely speak English and then hang up on you when you ask for a supervisor, refund or cancellation is more than infuriating! It is time this company is exposed for their tactics.

Regardless of what they claim they will do, if you try and buy, then cancel the next day, they will still continue shipping, billing and repeated billing.

Buyer BEWARE - Make sure you want this product and a very long commitment on your part. They make it impossible to cancel, return or keep them out of your account!

I was just completely ripped off. I didn't even submit my order and they placed it. I went through the first 2 pages and changed my mind. I closed the window thinking I was okay, but nope... They charged my account 69.69. I called as soon as I saw ( 2 hours later) and they tried to tell me that there was no way to cancel the order. I finally got them to give me a cancelation confirmation, and they shipped the stupid DVD's anyway. I have been told I can just send them back and get a refund, minus the 20.00 in shipping and 15 to ship it back. GARBAGE

BeachBody they're fraudulent and dishonest with returned products

I ordered the workout dvd's and felt that the initial claims of the body slimming dvd were false advertising. I returned the product for a full refund through the usps with delivery confirmation. It's been 1month since i've returned the dvd's and I have yet to see a credit on my amex. I called and spoke to someone from india that basically read a script and I asked why I kept receiving additional charges when I have confirmation that the package was successfully returned. They claimed that the package was never received which is just so convenient. Beach body is a scam and I wish I had read these complaints sooner. I am reporting this company to the bbb!

I ordered the hip hop abs tapes, as the operator was asking if I wanted order magazines I was saying no. She then led me to believe that magazines were free for certain length of time not only was I charged for the cd's that I ordered but also for the magazines. I have not received anything so that I can stop the charges for future deductions on my debit card.

Beachbody has the WORST customer service ever! They shipped me the wrong flavor or Shakeology, not really a big deal, things happen. But, when I called to ask for a shipping label to be sent to me to return my UNOPENED bag of Shakeo for the flavor I ordered, it was a nightmare. I was not only transferred and hung-up on for 3 hours- Jose was the only customer service rep that actually helped me and I was literally on the verge of tears at that point. Everyone acted like I was asking for something completely unspeakable. HOW DARE YOU NOT WANT TO PAY FOR SHIPPING FOR AN ERROR ON OUR PART? I spend over $100/month on Shakeo having it auto-delivered, plus I pay the quarterly coach fee, buy the workout DVDs, and promote their products to my friends and co-workers. Seriously, is it that big of a deal to send me a freaking shipping label? I live two hours away, its not like it costs that much and I'm sure they get a corporate discount! So after going through customer service hell, telling my story to 4 different people who barely speak English (apparently the Columbus, OH-based company is so cheap it has to outsource its customer service department), getting my coach involved, I was emailed a shipping label. It's been two months and I still have NOT received the product I EXCHANGED it for. Basically, Beachbody put me through hell and then stole my money. The products are great, the company is dishonest ###. I am discontinuing my orders and quitting as a coach, I'm so disappointed.

Beachbody products work AMAZING. You do have to actually put them in the DVD player and workout though. That may not have been explained in the infomercial. I have dealt with customer service at Beachbody before (including returns and exchanges) and I have had nothing but awesome service.

My name is Curtis and I work for Beachbody Customer Service. After reading complaints about our company I’ve personally set out to try and help solve these problems. I understand how frustrating it can be…especially when it’s about your finances and placing orders. However please we are aware of the many pirated copies being sold on markets like ebay, that is why we always advise our customers to order directly from us here at Beachbody at www.beachbody.com Anyone with problems please feel free to email me at custassist@beachbody.com. Please be patient if I have not responded within 24 hrs as I am the only person checking this email address. This means that you will not have to deal with more than one agent in regards to your account. Beachbody is a wonderful company with GREAT products. I love beachbody dvds but I buy from ebay, much cheaper and I pay extra for tracking/insurance (so less expensive) you have to research the product before ordering - watch videos on youtube to see if it's something you'd enjoy or see yourself doing. I joined a few groups in their forum and have a great support system - not bad ennvironment for a MLM company.

This company needs to really "shape up" as I am not satisfied with their service whatsoever. My situation was pretty much exactly the same as Pierre's. I purchased the product off of an infomercial (which I never do but it looked legit) only to receive the product with 2 DVDs, a couple bands and pamphlet (almost $200 for this? Are they crazy) So I returned through registered mail from canada (let me remind you that I did in fact call Beachbody before doing so and was advised by Austin of the exact address to send it to and to reconfirm the return policy) with a tracking number and guarantee that it would get there in 3 to 5 business days.

1 month went by and still no refund on my card, only to find that they had charged my card again only using a different company name. Lucky for me, I kept all documentation and was even able to track it online that it did indeed arrive at the destination 2 days later. I called back and spoke with Christine and when I explained my frustration as she kept advising me that I had an incorrect tracking number (it was the right one for Canada post and the only one on the form...duh!). I demanded to speak with a manager but coincidentally there were none available and I proceeded to get disconnected. I called back and got disconnected again. I tried to contact them by email only to get generic responses.

My final conclusion, if they are not willing to give me my refund and I have ALL documentation, including emails and names, I will refuse ALL charges with the credit card company AND I was quick to change my credit card so no FURTHER charges would be applied to my card.

This company is fraudulant...PERIOD. Please don't be a victim, I warn you now.

BeachBody charged me without my permission

Was placing order online and was perusing all the various upselling tactics during the checkout process, got frustrated and thought i'd go back later... They went ahead and charged me anyway. I called customer service and got a person who said he would cancel my order, didnt give me a cancellation number yet assured me it would not show up on my beack statement.. Well, guess what it did. I am sooooo angry and disillusioned with this company.

I went to the better business bureau site and there are many reports on this company for billing issues like this. I feel it is fraud.

BeachBody terrible customer service

I first ordered from beachbody in early '05, and had a great experience. When I logged on or called with a question, they were incredibly helpful. For the next couple of years I ordered quite a bit from them. Then I tried to return a product, and it was impossible! So I stopped ordering. Recently I ordered again, and received products I did not order. Again, trying to get anyone at customer service to listen was nearly impossible. I have decided to buy beachbody products either on ebay, or to wait until they show up at target. It's a shame that such high-quality merchandise is handled so incompetently.

I'm ordering Turbo Fire on Amazon instead. Hoping that somehow this will save me from this mess. And, I told Beach Body why I wasn't ordering from them. Note their response to me included a status update of "SOLVED". Hahaha!

___________________________

I appreciate the quick response but not one single piece of what you said changes my mind (and I think you knew it wouldn't). Especially disappointed that you show no interest in probing me for information about the negative reviews.

So, because I truly think you guys have such a great product here are the places where I found the information that means I will not order from you. Please take this as an honest attempt on my part to help you change this aspect of your company.

Here is a link that appears right on your BBB Page where there are 649 complaint statistics noted right under your "A" rating. Any person in their right mind would click the link and seriously wonder how you qualify for that grade.
http://www.trustlink.org/Reviews/Product-Partners-LLC-205976802

http://beachbody.pissedconsumer.com/ : I read tons of these - there are TOO MANY to ignore

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Beach_Body_Product_Partners_LLC : more issues with shipping and more people saying they won't buy from you...

Beachbody — terrible customer service

Now I know you may not be the one to personally exact change in this department but please take it up the chain and see what can be done. I know you'll be putting out more DVDs that I will want to buy so I'd like this fixed by then.

Thanks,
Cori

Hi,

Thanks for contacting Team Beachbody!

We sincerely appreciate your interest in our products. Beachbody takes pride in our excellent customer service, and our "A" rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Beachbody in no way every commits fraud or misleading tactics with our customers.

Customers are given the opportunity to try our Club memberships and Activit vitamins as trials when a program is purchased. When a trial is accepted, the terms of the trial are explained so that the customer understands that once the trial is over, you are auto enrolled in the program. However, if you wish to not continue with the auto enrollment, canceling is a easy as sending customerservice@TeamBeachbody.com an email. We try to make it as straight forward and user friendly as possible for our customers to order.

Beachbody has a very quick turn around on processing and shipping orders. This does leave a small window for modifications or cancellations to be made on an order. However, we always work with the customer to make sure that we can accommodate their requests in anyway possible.

We truly appreciate your interest in our programs, and we hope that you will reconsider purchasing out products. Please do keep in mind that if you are purchasing Beachbody products from any other vendor then Beachbody, we are unable to guarantee the authenticity of that product.

We have worked very hard to get our "A" rating from the BBB, and will continue to strive to address and resolve each customer inquiry in a positive and timely manner.

Please let us know if there is anything further that we may assist you with.

If you have any further questions, please contact Customer Service at [protected]. We are available Monday- Friday 6am- 6pm PST or at CustomerService@TeamBeachbody.com.

We wish you success in achieving your fitness goals.

Sincerely,
Team Beachbody

I just want to tell you good news and bad news. 1.) I think your marketing team does a great job. I think your trainers are really amazing: Chalene and Tony, esp. Great DVD products and kits 2.) I can't under any circumstances buy your products. I absolutely refuse to give you my credit card information. So this means I either have to wait to find this product somewhere else (AMAZON), use complicated methods to order like pre-paid CC or money orders which cost me more, or resort to borrowing someone else's copy when they are "done" with it. Either way you cut it, if you guys can't change your shipping/sales/autorefill/return policies to reflect that you are not the WORST most SCAM ridden company then you are hurting those of us in poor health as much as you help. Be more responsible with your customer's money and you will see increases in sales I PROMISE. There is SO MUCH stuff out there that is a red-flag about working with you guys! Feel free to contact me about all the research I did to come to these conclusions. I want your product so badly but I am scared that you are going to rip me off. Here is what I heard: - Can't easily order over phone because it is hard to understand foreign accents - Upsold so hard it was unpleasant - "Missed" the part where upsold so unknowingly got charged extra - Agreed to free products but not told about auto-enroll - Online Forms auto-enroll you AFTER payment info entered and then order completes even if you try to un-enroll after you see price increases - Same day, same HOUR orders can't be canceled! - If you choose not to spend the extra money on tracking and insurance - BeachBody will pretend they never received the package I believe there are people out there who do not follow directions. I believe some people have also experienced fraudulent practices on your part. Please continue to put out awesome workouts but make sure those of us who won't risk our money are able to easily get our hands on them.

Absolutely the worst C/s experience imaginable, and this comes AFTER they have supposedly fixed their customer service attitude (should a company ever have to take a serious look into how they treat their customers? This isn't Henry Ford and the mass-marketing of the Model A for godsakes).

I ordered Insanity on July 20th. NEVER arrived. They claim to have re-shipped on August 16th. Again, NEVER ARRIVED. They now claim to have reimbursed my credit card, but nothing has been done yet...I will give them a few days on this, though.

In the midst of all this, I was treated to the most inept circus wheel of dunces imaginable. Every c/s complaint reply ended up with a diffrent rep and NONE of them seemed to read the thread of back-and-forth responses. I had to start over again every time I got in touch with someone, when all they had to do was simply read the thread! I was aghast!

Never, ever, in a million years, would I go near Beachbody's order site again. I found a better alternative with lower shipping rates and genuine appreciation for overseas service, which is always a nice touch.

Absolutely brutal is all I can say about my Beachbody experience. I now own P90X and (maybe) Insanity, and I'm done. I've had enough of those bozos. And don't even get me started on how badly they've screwed up their own community forums and coaches in the process...and then do not even respond to months' worth of an outpouring of complaint.

I ordered beachbody products on 8/2 and tried to cancel on 8/3. The order was processed but not shipped, however, they refused to cancel the order. They said that they had to ship the items so that they can charge me for shipping, but I could always return the items. Imagine, they wanted to make $13.00 to ship the items before they would cancel! I will NEVER purchase from them again and cancelled my credit card so that they cannot rebill me. They give Sales a bad name! SCAMMERS!

BeachBody scam

I tried ordering the vitamins from Beach body after I got the Power 90 system. I liked the exercise video. It really works.

But my experience with the order line was a total horror! I don't know who is running the shop over there but it really is a scam.

I'm surprised these guys don't get reported to the better business bureau and to the state's attorney general's office.

The customer service person mixed up my order and gave me the run around. I even got hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager.

I would not even bother with this company. Buy the video off of Ebay or a friend but do not deal with this company. Once they have your card number, they will keep recharging you for no products. Use a prepaid debit card if you must. These guys are crooks with no customer service skills at all.

First I will say that the DVDs are excellent and I have no complaint with that, but the auto-subscription service is not explained well and to me is a big rip off.

I purchased the P90x program last year, love it and had no problem. I then purchased the 10 minute workout. Received the DVDs with a separate package of vitamins, which were a trial bottle of the vitamins. Then the following month I receive another bottle of vitamins and a charge for $33.75. I called beachbody.com and after being hung up on, after trying to use the website and after being told twice that their systems were down that I would need to call back in 30 minutes. Finally I got a person on the line and the sytems were up, the person explained that I was set up for subscription service and that I could cancel it. She cancelled the subscription. Then the next month I received another charge($24.95) without receiving anymore vitamins. I called beachbody.com back and was told that that was the second installment for the vitamins that I had received. Now I wondering how many installments will there be. $58.70 or more for a bottle of vitamins? Very disapointed with beachbody.com.

BeachBody stay away

I had the same thing happen. I called twice to cancel the auto shipment and the shipments did cancel but the auto charges did not. My fun start now. Avoid this company! I called up and of course they tried the hard sell for me to keep the stuff. It is an expensive set of vitamins.

I have $24.95 showing up for 3 straight months but have not received any shipments for them. I am curious why the credit card too won't freeze the payment (per the other posting). Will welcome any other suggestions. I am pissed!

have you thought of the personnal business op. they offer for a minimal investment? thats probably where they hard saled you... have you been to the website? teambody.com?, milliondollarbody.com? its a weird but functional business scheme... i dont wanna call it that but it seems that way but seems to work at the same time... if you want the charges off your card, call you card company, GET someone that speaks english so you can have a real converstion with your card company and tell them your problem, and insist on putting a hold on your account... and/or that specific companies charges... if your card company gives you ANY buff, like they cant do those two things thats BS and you can diffenatly at the least put a hold on the account... i some how always get my 40 dollar late charges revoked some how some way i talk them into it... dont take any bs and keep a civil tone when dealing with any company over the phone and when they piss you off and you wanna yell at them instead of freakin out keep it civil and just sigh and let them hear your frustration all the while telling them your problem and the way it should be righted and why its not right the way it is... in short stop using your card if you can and put a hold on it for maybe 2 or 3 months... that away all incoming charges are stopped and when there stopped they will stop all together hopefully... you have every right to be pissed when your charged for a product or something that you paid for but NEVER recieved... thats just not right and thats not how a legitamit bussiness is run correctly...
hope this helps maybe juss a lil
Good Luck

BeachBody sneaky thieves

Apparently this company keeps enrolling me in some club membership that I have called multiple times to cancel. Every time I think that the problem has been fixed I have another charge of almost $40 show up on my credit card. The last time I called they told me that there was nothing that they could do because they were having "technical difficulties" and could not access accounts. At this point I am very close to cancelling my credit card in order to stop the unwanted billing. All told I have been charged close to $400 and been given the cold shoulder from the folks at beachbody!

We sent a money order to beach body mail orders and never received the product. Fortunately we were smart enough not to give our credit card number.

i was placing an order online and thought i was going to only pay 20.00 a month it didn't even confirm what i was agreeing to pay just sent me a confirmation stating i will be paying 150.00 starting with 75.00 a month. i've been trying to cancel before they can charge my card since i wasn't agreeing to that amount. they have authorized my card but can't find my order i've been calling every 30min or less i don't want a mysterious delivery that now i have to pay saving every conversation with every rep. these people are thieves and scam artist.

Greetings,

I was sent more than I ordered as well, I specifically said I DO NOT WANT any of your vitamins etc they are synthetic and I would not recommend them. They sent them and charged me anyway now I have the challange of getting my money credited back, stopping further shipments, and having to pay for the return package as well as my time and frustration. Beachbody corporation is taking advantage of "their customers"

Had to put my two cents in.

BeachBody Fraud and cheating!

Ordered on 1/2/08. Was given bogus tracking info. As of 2/12/08 still no product. Telephone and online chat "service dept" are offshore and it shows. In one single conversation (I have written proof) they said the order would be here in 5 days, then a few sentences later says, the order was canceled, then again, the order should be here in 5 days - this time offering a tracking number. Turns out to be the original bogus tracking number. My multiple requests for a refund have gone ignored. Right now I have filed a dispute with my bank.

Be very careful!
