TD Bank teller

My husband and I have a joint checking account. I write out a check once a week for him to cash. We have direct deposits. A teller sent my husband a personal note in a TD bank card. Hoping to see him around, etc... I went in the next week and the teller took off and hid! Very unprofessional! I didn't know who she was at first. I never seen her at the bank and she has never seen me at the bank. I feel like she has gone into my files and looked up who I was. I have been a customer for at least 20+ years. I will never go back to the bank as long as she is working there. I think she should be fired! Hopefully I won't have to change my bank. Hope someone can help me with this. TD Bank checking account #[protected]

Several months ago my account was frozen. I have been told it must be reviewed by the fraud division. Meanwhile I have no access to the money in the checking account and the bank manager has told me it may take up to 2 years to clear this up. I would like to expedite this process so I may use this account on occasion. The bank manager has contacted the department but has gotten no satisfaction and tells me there is nothing she can do to change the status of the account.

TD Bank claim

Hi td

I'm a costumer at your bank and soon not to be ..
I had a saving with 700 dollars in it, my card got used in nj and my savings is gone . I put the claim in twice and they both got denied .

It's really sad that you trust your bank with your money and then your hard working money is gone like that, i wasent in nj or even near the place when this happen . I don't go to jersey .

So now my 700 dollars gone and I have to start over . Not good at all !

TD Bank heloc application processing

They claim to be most convenient bank, but to my opinion it is more inconvenient one. They sent me a package asking for documents for the loan application processing, but did not tell me where to send. No address, no fax number, and there was no online upload option either. I called the general service phone number several times, and each time after a few transfer options, but still got no one available to answer such a simple question. The listed loan officer did not even contact me back by an email or a phone call.

TD Bank customer service

I OPENED a td bank account after all of their advertisement of how their customer service was. What a mistake. After opening my account on line I should have ha some clue when my visit to finish the opening of the account took 4 visits and then had to visit a different branch outside my city because the banks in my city's customer service were very bad and they could not care less. After finally getting the account open and one day answering an online td bank verification question wrong a couple of times they locked my online account and after calling their different 800 numbers for an entire week and spending up to an hour waiting listening to their advertisements of how great they are for over an hour each time I decided to visit their branch to get it unlocked. Needless to say to 5his day my account remains unlocked with no help to customer service. I have emailed left messages and waited for over hours at their branch and no help. Do yourself a big favor do not use this bank. Especially if you are in business. This is a lossy bank.

TD Bank rsps

My fiancé and I recently purchased a home, so as first time buyers we are eligible to participate in the Home Buyers Plan (we can withdraw our funds from our RSP and use them towards our downpayment).

My fiancé banks with RBC, so we met with an advisor on a Friday afternoon and his RSP was in his checking account the next day.

Since the rest of our weekend we do crazy, I ended up making an appointment at TD on a Sunday afternoon (that's about the only positive thing they have going for them, their hours).

After meeting with an advisor who didn't really know how to handle the process (he was young and new so I get it, you need to learn somehow) we were informed that my money would be in my account by Tuesday (since Sunday is technically not a business day). "Great!" I thought, perfect timing.

So then Tuesday hits - no funds. Wednesday - still no funds. That evening I stopped by the branch I went to process the paperwork at and they said there is a new process in effect in which they need to ship it out to head office or something and it may take another business day. Fine, whatever, I can wait one more day.

Thursday hits - no funds. Friday - no funds.

In the 10+ years I have been with TD, they have really never done anything for me, and now at such a crucial time (when I need MY money to purchase a home) they continue to drag their heels.

I was in my first car accident last year in which my car was written off - I went to TD to secure an auto loan and was denied. First Ontario came through and I purchased my new car.

I was looking to add my partner to my vehicle insurance with TD a few years ago, but because he had an accident on his record I was told that not only would he be denied to join my policy, but they would actually be letting me go as a customer once my policy expired for simply even requesting a quote with him on it (what?)

Absolutely garbage customer service and just a terrible bank overall. Oh, and did I mention my monthly fees? Now $16 a month almost, plus the $3 ATM penalties.

It's safe to say once (or if) I ever get my money, I will be ditching TD and taking my business elsewhere.

PS. The "cool, young hipster" imaging that you're using in your promos makes you look like total [censored] bags, TD.

TD Bank unprofessional and unethical manager that told me to take my business elsewhere

i was in the td branch on 1188 Clifton ave, Clifton I was really frustrated of there overdraft fees over the past yr. i went in and the manager called Rosa Quinones was at the customer service desk. i wanted to tell her how i overwhelmed by there overdraft fees and i was really happy with them up until last yr when everything began down wards with there fees worth of thousands of dollars when u add up. she didn't even have the patient for me to take the sit yet and told me if i wasn't happy i can take my bussines somewhere else.. than she began telling me that the td banks policy changed last yr and i had to keep a pen and paper with me at all times to keep track of my spending and write it down everytime i use my debit card and not to trust there online banking. she tried to humiliate me she was looking at her coworkers and laughing at all time making fun of me!

TD Bank would not serve me

I came into a TD Bank located at 7955 Metropolitan Avenue I wanted to cash my check recently I had a name change and gender change I also wanted to open up an account I provided them with i d court documents birth certificate social security card bank cards anything necessary to cash my check I decided to open up the account first so that I am not charged a fee for cashing I was sent to a person by the name of ravita she was looking at me awkward then stated to me that she could not open up an account for me because I do not live in Brooklyn or in the area I reside in Staten Island I said I've never heard of I can open up an account wherever I please it has nothing to do with where I live I'm providing you with the documents she stated again that she will not be able to open up the account for me so I went back to the front to cash my check instead and the same person who service me at the front told her that I came back and now they denied me service when she was just about to cash my check before I went to open up the account I should be able to open up my account without having a problem because of my gender sex preference I had all documents necessary to make my transactions and was denied service I am very upset

TD Bank overdraft fees

I have been hit with thousands and Of dollars I n overdraft fees over the past 2 years. Mostly due to the order in which Td bank processes checks. Over the weekend all pending checks are subject to order processing. Starting with the largest amounts to the smallest making not one check overdraft but all of them overdraft. Results are maximum overdraft fees

TD Bank customer service

I go to the td bank on memorial drive in chicopee mass 01020 all the time and buy coins from the manager herself, but the teller today at 1:45pm, ..a stalky Puerto Rican girl (didn't get the name), but she displayed some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced! AND I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE so I know..she was rude, called me a liar and offered absolutely no customer relation skills at all. And another woman, I think a supervisor stood right there and let this girl berade me. Which is also not professional. I'm going to go in monday and complain to the manager anyways, but I was so offended I literally left very angry. All I want to do is bank, that's all...it shouldn't be this hard..thankyou for your time..j.c.

TD Bank delayed service

This is not the first time that something like this has happened. But today I decided to put my frustation and disappointment in black and white.
On Friday July 7, 2017, I went to the TD branch located at 801 W 48 St. Hialeah 33012. When I arrived at 11:45, there were only 6 clients, including myself. Only 2 employees were providing service. I had to wait approximately 45 minutes. More people arrived and there was a long line. I told one of the persons in charge to try to get more people behind the counter, but he said that it was normal because they are the busiest branch in Florida.
Please, check your security videos and you will see the amount of people waiting.
There were many employees just walking around, doing I dont know what. There were not working with clients, which is the most important thing for a good service.

TD Bank unethical behavior

On Tuesday May 30th, 2017 I went to the TD Bank branch on 6th Ave. with my two daughters to get papers notarized for them. We sat in Mr. Suresh Maharaj (ID# 597240) where he refused to notarize my daughters' papers after they provided him with a valid, government-issued ID, their passport card. He claimed that it was an invalid ID and that he couldn't sign the papers with it even though we were there a few days prior to get other papers notarized with a different notary in the same branch, and he did it without an issue (we presented the same ID). Mr. Maharaj was very rude, not letting us speak and left to tell the other notary that he was no longer allowed to notarize any other papers for us. Mr. Maharaj also told us to leave and began raising his voice at us even though the ID was valid, telling us that he needed to see a physical passport despite us showing him a passport card. Afterwards we went to a different bank and got the papers notarized with the ID we presented to him without a problem. I have been a long time investor in TD bank and I do not appreciate being treated disrespectfully.

TD Bank waiting for no reason

Respected sir,
I went to TD Bank 465 kingshiway and there is my account.. i saw there were three customer care service representative but two of them were busy and one of them was free.. they keep me to wait for no reason. I waited 35 mints and i left without any talk. It was urgent because someone else is using my account. Is that your customer take care?

TD Bank td bank ocala

I have been banking with TD bank for 6 years and have always had a pleasant experience. Walked into the location in ocala and they changed that for me. I had to deal with a woman who was in a rush and inacurrate. Janis informed us multiple times during our transaction that she was off the clock and had to get home. In turn, she was rude, and rushed through our deposits. Claimed we gave the wrong amounts and asked us to recount the money ourselves. The amounts were correct. Janis is not a competent bank teller and lacks the appropriate customer service skills. Two deposits should not have turned into a 20 minute ordeal

TD Bank I applied for a line of credit and was denied

I have been dealing with this bank long before it became td Canada trust and I have never been so disappointed and angry when I got the letter stating I have been denied a $5, 000 Lone if Credit! My son has kidney failure and is currently on dialysis three times a week but is also going for transplant. I am working 28 hours a week (plus more), have never missed a payment and I do not understand what the problem is. THIS LINE OF CREDIT IS TO HELP WITH MEDICAL BILLS AND NO MATTER WHO I TRY TO EXPLAIN IT TO THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND! I am asking for temporary help and your bank is not co operating at all. TD Bank business accounts cad and usd

I just received a call from a TD employee saying its a courtesy call to make sure our company bank accounts are in good shape and that we are satisfied with their service. I answered her immediately saying everything is good with the accounts and wanted to put off the phone but she immediately went on to checking our bank accounts to inform me if the accounts needed an upgrade. I had to lash out at her as she was up selling me products that my business do not require. Even after such a big lash back from the public, TD bank has still not stopped their tactics. Very disappointed with this bank.

TD Bank humiliating and demeaning customer service.

My name is Vidika [removed], my TD Account# is [removed].

I have been a TD customer for over 20 years. I have my Mortgage, RRSP's, 2 Credit Cards, Line of Credit, Personal Loan, Chequing Account, Savings Accounts and Home and Auto Insurance with TD.

I am writing to you in regards to an experience my boyfriend and I had with Randy Diep at the TD Bank Creekside Location in Calgary (12006 Symons Valley Road NW).

There has been a couple of incidences with Randy at this location, where he has been extremely difficult to deal with and speaks to us as if we are second class citizens.

In this last incidence this past Saturday May 13, he was totally disrespectful. My boyfriend banks with ATB. He received a cheque for approximately $1000.00, from his work and wanted me to have the money to help cover our household expenses. My boyfriend endorsed the cheque, came into the TD bank with me, showed his photo ID and Randy told him he couldn't deposit the cheque into my TD account, even though my Boyfriend was standing right in from of him showing him his driver's license. Randy said it was up to his discretion, that it was not a TD Policy.

Randy had us walk across the street to ATB, where we cashed the cheque and withdrew the $1000.00, then we walked back to TD to deposit the money into my account.

While we were at ATB, we asked them what they would do for us in this situation. ATB said as long as you have picture ID with your signature we would deposit the cheque...anyone with common sense could do that with the person standing right in front of them, they did not understand why TD would treat their customer like this.

I am extremely hurt and disappointed with being treated in such a disrespectful and demeaning manor. I have always spoken highly of TD and have encouraged my friends and colleagues to bank with TD. I even encouraged my boyfriend to move his accounts and services from ATB over to TD, however, after this experience, I will NEVER recommend TD to anyone again.

TD Bank paper deposit and withdrawal slips

If TD Bank really wants to claim it's "America's Most Convent Bank, " than I contend that TD MUST eliminate paper deposit and withdrawal slips on both personal and small business accounts. Citi Bank does NOT require paper deposit or withdrawal slips. This approach is much more convenient than TD's approach. Not requiring paper deposit slips relieves customers of the expense of buying said slips ($7.50/100), is more environmentally friendly, and protects personal information. I don't want my account information floating around on numerous paper slips. What's worse, my branch insists on writing information from my driver's license on each withdrawal slip. I'm all for checking ID's, but I vehemently object to TD Bank making an endless paper trail of my personal data. Interestingly, TD Bank does NOT require paper slips for ATM transactions. (It's probably the ATM manufacturer that won't allow TD Bank to needlessly and redundantly waste paper.) At Citi, you can reuse a single deposit slip, with an account number but no amounts filled in, to make numerous deposits. Just hand the slip and checks to the teller and ask for the blank slip back. Now that's a truly convenient American bank! So get with the program TD Bank and quit wasting time, money, and effort by relentlessly adhering to antiquated bits of paper.

TD Bank - Recent letter re heir potential

Recently received. Letter from Paul Alfred Thomas, TD Canada Trust Bank, [protected]@gmail.com, stating that I might be an heir to a Joe Granke who died in 2007 in London. Is this for real or a scam? I am highly suspicious especially since the letter is not on any bank letterhead and the city is listed as Ontario, which I know is not a city.

TD Bank I got scammed

Recently I got scammed by TD Canada Trust bank
branch TD Canada Trust Branch 443 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2B1

Basically, I had a basic TD Canada Trust checking bank account that i have used regularly for paying my outgoing bills such as monthly mortgage bills, hydro bills, visa bills ext. I also have Royal Bank Canada checking account that i used for regular banking needs including transferring money by check to TD Canada Trust Branch checking account to pay my bills.

Recently i had major problem with TD Canada Trust after they notified me that the certified check that was issued from my personal checking account at RBC branch bounced therefore they froze my TD Canada Trust checking account and froze all banking activities including my visa account preventing me from paying all of my outstanding bills. I was surprised since i had money on my account and have contacted my RBC branch about this bounced check and after they investigated this situation they discovered their mistake that was made by teller who entered incorrect account on the check.

Royal Bank Canada admitted to made error on the check and attempted to write letter of apology explaining their fault to TD Canada Trust however this action wasn't problem solver to unfreeze my account with TD Canada Trust and to allow me repay my outstanding balance with visa bills including my mortgage and hydro bills.

Instead TD Canada Trust started the financial hardship and scam process against me by accusing me of unjustified fraud and freezing my bank account including freezing my visa account preventing me to repay my monthly balance therefore allowing allowing visa account balance to grow its debt balance to outstanding amount, my monthly mortgage payment amount amount was locked to TD Canada Trust account that was frozen and prevent to have my mortgage company to withdrawal its amount resulted on my mortgage default accumulating extensive financial penalties fees, Toronto Hydro was not able to collect their monthly payment also resulted in fee penalties and risk of having my power to be cut off

After all of my attempts and RBC bank to resolve this problem failed i continued to experience further financial hardship this time TD Canada Trust sold my visa account with outstanding balance to collection company and also reported me to Equifax Credit Bureau and ruined my credit history

I have contacted various government agencies explaining my situation leading me writing a complaint letters to TD Bank Group - Office of the Ombudsman, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada 427 Laurier Avenue West, 6th floor Ottawa, Ontario K1R 1B9, Financial Services OmbudsNetwork (CFSON), Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI), Ministry of Government and Consumer Services 6th Floor, Mowat Block 900 Bay Street Toronto, ON M7A 1L2 also including to local MP The Honourable Bill Morneau all effort proved to be useless effort and waste of time and did not allow me to resolve this situation and most reply i have received from the government sources articulating how they not responsible to tell banks how to act and operate their business and its policy.

I have decided to fight for my innocent dignity about this situation by teaming up with RBC bank and taking TD Canada Trust to Small Claims - Superior Court of Justice at 47 Sheppard Ave. East, 3rd Floor the outcome from the acting judge wasn't favorable to defend my side instead Superior Court of Justice sided with TD Canada Trust resulting in judgment order against me and RBC Canada ignoring the mistake made by Royal Bank of Canada and prohibiting me from any further legal action against TD Canada Trust to defend my identity and repairing my credit history.

I dont know what else could be done to fix my situation i also very disappointed by experience to learn that government of Canada including Small Claims - Superior Court of Justice judges sold our justice to corporate thief and do not protect our consumers rights from corporate scammers and only defend corporations this is no real justice for Canadian residents citizens and consumers
