We called Taylor Window Co. to try to get an estimate of about how much a standard window would cost to replace the windows in our home. The sales rep refused to give us any idea of how much it would cost and insisted that a window sales person would be happy to come and give us a free estimate. BIG MISTAKE. Never let these people come to your home. Once inside the door, the sales rep camped out at our dining room table. He was rude, told offensive jokes, ridiculed his competitors and in general was an idiot. We could nto get rid of him. He used every trick in the book to try to make us sign a comtract that night...offering discounts for all sorts of crazy things, like referrals, putting a sign in our yard, even offered to call the big boss to get us the rock bottom price. What he did nto know is that we had already got a price from his competitor and it was $2, 000 LESS than his bottom price. We couldnt get a word in he was yapping so fast and furious...finally my husband stood up and said 'we have listened to you and now it's time for you to listen to us and what we are telling you: We are not signing anything tonight...that is not the way we have done business and never will.' The sales rep, let's call him Bret was so furious, he packed up his displays, bells whistles and lights and finally left but his parting shot was to say, 'if you want to cheap out, why don't you just replace the glass in your windows.' and drove away in his big truck. He has been at our house from 6:30 until 9 p.m. NEVER let these people come to your house! CROOKS and CRIMINALS...we have now found out from previous customers that the reason they are so pushy is because they want to push you into making a big financial mistake! Don't let these people talk you into anything!

the sales rep needs to learn how to sell. being pushy isn't how.
as for a price...this is where consumers make the mistake. you go with the cheapest price but expect to get the highest quality work and the best product..that's not what you are going to get. you will get the cheap window with a cheap install. always pick the middle of the road priced guys.
