I have purchased tata indigo dicor on 30/03/2007 through jasper industries, vijayawada, andhrapradesh.i had been facing few teething problems from the first service onwards. Every 5000 kms, the fan belt need to be changed(it is broken in to pieces). There is a mysterious noise in the left side of the dash board when ever we change the gear. The a/c knob is not functioning freely and it is getting struck at a particular position.

After the first free service, i have noticed that there is engine oil leakage. Since then i was complaining this problem to the dealer(service provider)when ever i leave my vehicle for servicing. In second and third servicing, they have not even attended it. Same has happened in fourth service also at 20055 kms but i refused to take the delivery of the vehicle with out attending the above said problems. Then also they did not atted to it and the vehicle was lying at the service station for 17 day as un attended.after all these dramas and dodgins, finally they delivered the vehicle on 18th day with out solving any of the problems. They have given a big list of components which have been replaced in the vehicle. But still i am facing the problem of engine oil leakage, mysterious noise in the left side of the dash board and the a/c switch. I was totally dis satisfied with the response given by the dealer (jasper industries, vijayawada).

I do not know what to do further and really afraid, after seeing the list of components changed by the dealer. If the same thing has happened after the warranty period, what is my fate? I trust on tata and gone for this vehicle. Now i am really regretted for my bad decision. I strongly recommending to my friends circle not to buy tata indigo dicor because of the above problems and the poor service provided by them. I request you all to publish in all media and internet. What ever the co operation and evidence required for this, i will provide in time.

Respected Sir,
Myself, P.R.V. Nair, President of Saurashtra Cements & Chemicals Ltd., Cochin, Kerala, President of Rotary Club too, would like to complaint about my car & the Service centre.
I presented Tata Indico Dicor car to my daughter on her marriage in the year 2007 at Kayamkulam. Now, since last few months, we're facing many problems with that car. Major problem is with the engine lock, due to its remote. i.e., all off a sudden engine stops & we can't start the car then, breakdown problem etc.
This problem we reported to Ernakulam Concord service centre and we got service of the car from there two months back for Rs.12, 564/-. Now, again since last two weeks, engine is locked & we cannot start the car.
There is no response from Concord Service centre, even after our several phone calls. They are asking to bring the vehicle, but, we cannot start the car so, how can we move?
Now, i'm totally depressed since they are not helping me. So, i'm going to file a case against this now.
From,
P.R.V. Nair,

The oil leak is a common problem with all DiCOR engines. Not sure of your dealer, but the dealer where I went they were able to identify this and fix it for good. Its a bad gasket which is causing the leak. If your car is under warranty, the repair will cost you INR 0.00. The cost of parts replaced comes to more than INR 6000.00, so get it repaired during warranty period itself.
