I am a user of the Tata Indicom USB Modem for the Laptop. I pu rchsed this item approxiametly 1 week ago and received already 2 bills. 5 days after the purchase my internet access was made off and I was told that I had to pay already a bill of 1700 Rupees. The plan that I chose was the 1500 Ruppes plan which they told me would give me unlimited internet access and 5 GB downloading. I took this and paid the bill. 2 days after the again activated my internet access I get now again a next bill to pay again 1047 Ruppes or my connection will again be made off.
I did not use my limit that I doont even have in 2 days.
Are you not ashamed of yourout tselves of cheatin people like this. I know many people complain about this. I will surely sue Tata indicom for this in court and many other people will surely do the same. This is not to take. You have to correct this immediately! What is this Tata Indicom Company only a ###ing bunnch of liars that cheat Indians of their money an d ignore it. This commpany will surely go down if it continues to cheat and ignore their costumers. You make the Indian country really look bad. Be ashamed of yourselves.

This is very pathetic situation, that we cannot expect from such a big customer caring company like tata. I have tata indicom broadband connection, and the same have been taken to work as remote for official purpose.

Now It has been 4 days, there is no broadband service to BTM Layout, Bangalore area. I already logged a ticket for this, and daily inquiring about the ticket, and I used to get same answer every day that " It will be ready by another one hour sir " , and now somany one hours over and till this time there is no way to hope its going to come.

Concern people are not picking up their cell phone, and now I am in trouble, since this is effecting my official work. Tataindicom has taken three months amount in advance, and now they don't have any issue because money is already paid.

This is such a bad situation I ever faced.

To start with, I took this connection about an year ago or more than that. They didn't have any setup charges if I pay them a lump-sum for 6 months together, however I was never aware that is a catch all about and am landing to a biggest trouble in my life. I paid them the amount for 6 months, it took them 3-4 days to get it installed, I was happy spped was not that impressive but I had 24 hours connectivity to internet. Soon after sometime problems started when after every few days, there was one or the other problem.
I called up their customer-care services, number bot in use. Finally got the number after dialing "Dial-in services", then got connected to someone sitting in pune, who asked me all sorts of weird questions and at the end of it told me I am forwarding it to the relevant department, who will contact you shortly and will resolve your issue, gave me a reference number. I waited for few days nothing worked no one visited. Later on I called up there center again, now this time it was a girl I was speaking with, again asked me all sorts of weird question and said I am re-forwarding the request as the reference number you are giving me on my system it says the issue has been resolved already by the department, they visited your place as well and found everything ok. Which was a total lie as noone even visited nor the problem was sorted.

Now it was already 7th day... I was really getting frustrated I called up again now this time I was speaking to person in hyderabad, I suppose then I asked him that I would like to speak to supervisor, he said no supervisors are available, when I asked him when will they be available. He said I am not too sure, I asked him if they can call me back, he first said no, then after some time trying to finish my call, he said "I am sending the mail to my supervisor, who will call you in when they are free." I waited for 2 -3 days, no one turned up no calls been made, surprisingly problem automatically was sorted out... but it was not sweet for long, thereafter what happened at night problem arose again, now i was furious called and this time I was speaking to some1 in Delhi/pune I don't remember, but she was a manger as per what she told me, she said I've noted these details and she'll personally get this sorted out for me as there have been some line breakage in my area, I asked her a simple question why can't they inform their customers about it and moreover they must provide some alternative to their customer she apologized and told me you validity would be extended and would be sorted out very soon however refused to provide and specific time.

Problem was sorted out after 3 days finally after another couple of calls.
Then after few weeks again a problem, I have just lost it... now it was getting on my nerves... I no more required any solution-I called them and told them "Since the day I've taken this connection, I've always had one or the other problem, nothing been sorted out for me as yet, so I need my money back." They said as its a prepaid a/c we can't refund, no I've hardly used their connection... no services been provided and as per the inconvenience I've faced with TATA I should have got my money back. This is not all, after so many complaints finally I can use my connection and this was the time i used my connection for more than 20 days... the maximum time I would have used the connection continuously since the time I've bought this connection.
However now it came the day to renew it, so I just thought giving it another chance toTATa, and renew it finally rather than going for a hassle to take any other co.'s connection.

It worked all fine for few days... however again the link/no browsing problem started... they again gave reference numbers and said will extend validity everytime happed during weekends, I wonder why? And I m not too sure if they even added the value to my pack or just said like that. Now, about few days ago my another renewal was due on [protected] which has not come, however they says you have only Rs. 11 in your account, you cannot use it. I told the customer care representative you should have at least called me to inform about the renewal, no calls made, nor any communication made and you have suspended my connection, they had no answer to it.

Now I said I need to access it they said you need to renew it, I aid okay how do I do it instantly, the agent "Nitin" was his name---so called floor supervisor said you can renew the a/c oer the internet paying online, I paid thru my ICICI bank Netbanking as per ICICI they have made a payment straight-a-way to vsnl TAT indicom Broadband However as per VSNL they have yet not received the payment. They can't send me a written confirmation saying that they have not received the payment so that I would take it further with ICICI bank why payment is deducted from my account, I know they have that money and someone is not doing there duty. I told them to start my services again or return my money, they say they have not received the payment.

I have a broad band connection from Tata Indicom. My internet connection is down since lat 12 days. I have complained many times. Every time I lodge a complaint it is closed after 3 days and I am informed that the complaint is resolved.
I do not know why this Tata company is cheating the customers.
There is no escalation mechanism and I am unable to go beyond the call centre.

Can anybody help me by providing me with e-mail adress or telephone of Rata Tata?

DOes he have time to hear the complaint of an internet customer?

I have 6 years old intrument from Tata Indicom. Account# [protected] in MUMBAI
On many previous complaints TATA Indicom has changed the receiver and battery of that with USED ONEs. Due to that the instrument issues are not fixed permanently and come back after 3-4 months. One can bear for sometime but has to again contact the NON-RESPONSIVE tata indicom 121 line.

24th Nov - logged complaint for change of instrument
26th Nov - when the technician refused to change the intrument - logged another complaint and talked to the supervisor of the call centre.
2nd Dec - NO RESPONSE SO FAR for the new intrument - so talked to Nodal Office. Good lady promised quick action within 24 hrs and that a NEW instrument will be given to replace the old one
7th Dec - 5 days have passed and their 24 hrs are not over yet. Called again and told that they can not change the instrument to new one. And that I have to purchase a new instrument and pay for it.

VERY DISGUSTING and ANNOYING - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.

Piece of advise to all - DO NOT TAKE TATA INDOCOM CONNECTIONS - THEIR SERVICE IS PATHETIC.

My SIM is not working and TATA store is also not having new SIM. I have86 Rs. balance in my mobile. When I went TATA store they said they don't have SIM at their store and I need to wait for atleast next week atleast (if available) and they were also asking for additional 50 rupees as they were saying TATA upgraded SIM (from 34 to 64 KB) and I need to pay for that. I paid money once I purchased new SIM. If upgradation is by TATA, then why do I pay and they are asking me to keep my phone off till the time they avail SIM at their store. Need your intervention as it is creating a big problem for me as my phone is switch off. You can contact me on [protected]. Please resolve my problem on very urgent basis else I will be forced to port my number to other operator.

This is to let you know that I am a very frustrated customer of yours..I had got a connection last year in November #[protected]. It was a Sungill limited addition connection wortj Rs.3000.

I was excited to be a part of Tata Indicom but my dream was shattered. Unfortunately, the set was faulty. I registered complaint, went o CP office, Office at Rampura (sungill repair center) but all in vein. Lastly, in June, 2006 my appeal was listened and instrument changed BUT, not for what I paid I got ACCESSTEL -800 which was available for Rs. 800 only that time...

Till date so many complaints so many talks so many dates given to me so many excuses but NO RESOLUTION finally I got that connection deactivated.

THE IRONY

During the above talk every told me that no new handset is in stock that is the reason we will not be able to give you.

Just to try I applied for a new connect [protected] got the NEW SHINY LG 350 T model...WOW! but again, it was totally dead on the Second day of charging. I again registered complaint got my handset replaced but with a repaired old set of some other customer. I deserve to have a new handset since, its a new connection...well i got it disconnected as well...

Shame shame shame nothing else you people deserve.

I am a subscriber to TATA postpaid connection with tel. no. [protected]. The connection was taken some 5 months back.. While taking connection, TATA people gave a refurbished set (in place of a new white 350T as demanded by me) with a request that as there was shortage of sets presently, the same would be replaced by a new set very soon. I believed them and took the connection and I did not worry because the set was working. However, within a month's time the set got defective with a typical hanging problem. On complaint, it was replaced again by a refurbished set. That set again gave problem related to malfunctioning of a switch and on complaint, it was also replaced again by a refurbished set. Similar thing happened four times and today it is the fifth set with me within a span of five months. Every time when the problem is faced of one or other type, the service remains affected for two - three days. The present set goes OFF very frequently sometimes without even being used for one hour.

In such scenario, this time I have insisted your people to give a new set only. But they have not done so. As the service is fully unsatisfactory, I have not paid my dues with a request to stop subscription, but TATA people at Katni have not agreed to even take the application. The service is presently suspended due to non of my faults. In such situation, I am being forced to seek legal and other helps. Though, I have informed the problem of such frequent trouble by your people at 121 but nothing has come out except assurance.

I have face really really very bad experience. when calling customer care at 121 or 1515, then customer is treated as Dog, no where what type of customer he is.

I was not given waver for Rs. 300.

Tata indicom has rights to barraged the outgoing of the cust. as of no use and if the cust. calls from other mobile he is not provided the waver.

I am very frustrated from the services of the Tata Indicom.

It is hell like anything and also people in tata indicom like Amit who is in customer care in Okhla office do not supports and ginish parb in mohali as supervisor is good for nothing.

Now I am deciding to move to the court and to raise this issue.

This is regarding the worst services offered by tata indicom and based on this i will proceed legally.

As i had applied for the Tata Indicom Broadband internet connection on 10-06-2007 with the marketing executive named Mr. Shivaram ( Film nagar area - jubilee hills ), filled the application and gave the cheque for 3146 rupees. He told me that the internet will get connected with in 3 days and broke the promise, now i had waited for 16 days following his requests but at last he is telling that it will take some more time and he is not sure about the time also. His superiors are not interested to talk with the clients according to his words... So whom should i go for and where should i complain, if i was not able to get internet with in 2 days, i will proceed legally and file a case against tata indicom.

Past few months i am facing lot of problems with the landline connection... whenever i am trying to call only few woeds i can speak to my family..within 5 sec the music start playing.. R we calling our parents from abroad to listen the dirty music of Tata Indicom or what?. please try to resolve the problem as sson as possible otherwise i have to look for alternate solution.

I have recently purchased tata indicom's cdma1Xusb modem ...
They claim to provide a speed of 153 Kbs but the browsing speed is not even half of that ..During the day its almost impossible to surf.Messenger keeps on disconnecting due to weak connection and none of the browser software seem to load pages.The poorest internet facility in Inida.Very Sad and they don't seem to do anything about it.They continue to hceat customers.As a responsible consumer i strongly recommend no one use tata indicom servies.

Customer service for the phone is very rude and in fact they attend the phones provided in their public relation office. Kyocera company phones are just blunder and cheating to the customers. TATA indicom service center at crowford market KAIZER ELECTRONICS PH: [protected] is also not up to the mark and no manner of customer service.

i have purchase tata indicom prepaid connection let rock (student plan). i have found recharge of rs.200 is not working in this plan, checked with another same user also.
but according to plan this voucher is applicable to me ...i talked to customer care also several times but no solution was provided to me. i am very much fed up of customer care service.

now my validity is about to end & now i want to recharge with rs1000 recharge voucher in which we get 1200 talk time with 6 months validity so any one help me whether this voucher is successful in lets rock plan or not.

I m taking Tata Indicom broad band services in Delhi region. It is the worst service that I have ever seen from such organization who are spreading there arms outside India also. This is to suggest that pls don't take there broadband services otherwise you are the sufferer bcoz I am suffering from last 5 months and nobody will listen to you.

I am Ram Sridhar Rao P V, holding TATA Indicom Prepaid number [protected], i have recharged Rs.100/- today to above number, this was done online from TATAINDICOM site. it has given a mesg recharge successfully., but the amount was not credited to my number([protected]) why it is not recharged. but my amount was deducted from my icici account.
Please look into this imm. please can callme my below number for further clarificatons.

This is a complaint regarding non reciept of bill for the post paid moblie no. [protected] taken my name

Repeated complaints were made in this regard as it is a company connection for official use. The bill is

reimbursed by my company and I need bill for the same.
Even the latest bill was not sent to be and made me unable to pay the bill. As the bill amount is usually

high it can be paind only after it is processed by my office. It hardly takes a day for my office to process

the bill. But even after repeated complaints nothing happened with u r company.
To make the matters worse the incomming and outgoing was cut on 16/01/08 which was the day of conference

meeting on the phone. This made me loose my job - reason being not capable of maintaining the phone on the

day of review. I am making attempts to convince the heads that the fault is not at my end. The handset was

delibrately broken in anger and hence it is presently unservicible.
This is to bring to ur notice that the things need to be corrected at u r end and if u still want me to

continue with u r service u can provide me a new handsent with the same number. Failing which the present

dues shall not be paid. And also I would also proceed legally against your comapny claming hardship and loss

of Job charges.
I u r comapny is really interested in maintaing the reputation and customers u may revoke my connection

immedtly along with a new handset.

Hi,

I had registered for two postpaid connections of TATA Indicom from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala for two months that is from Dec 2008 to Feb 2009. The two numbers that were registered to me were [protected] and [protected]. I had paid all my bills for the two months of usage and had asked the service provider for termination of services for these numbers since I was relocating to Bangalore. However, after about 6 months, I got a bill for one of the numbers from Tata Tele Services that I had dues on my cell phone and I had to pay a penalty on avoiding which I would be liable to prosecution by law. Since I did not want to go through the hassles of courts, I paid the bill and again disconnected the number for which I had recieved the bill.

Now after 2 years of no communication, an advocate representing Tata tele services has again sent me a notice stating that I have pending dues on both the above mentioned numbers and I need to pay up. I do not even have the reciepts of my payment since this incident was 2 years back and there was no communication whatsoever about any dues all this long. I myself work for a company (TCS) from the Tata group and this kind of money extracting process from innocent customers is totally uncalled for especially when it comes from such a reputed company like Tata. This should be immediately put to stop and there is abosolutely no logic for these kinds of bils out of the blue.

I hope that my grievance is resolved and I hope that it helps in avoiding such incidents for other customers

I am existing Tata Indicom customer using land line [protected]. I received a call from the sales executive to go for Tata walky which would be beneficial to me. Therefore I went ahead and booked Tata indicom walky vide bill no. 939880 by paying cheque of Rs 898/- drawn on HDFC bank

I got a Tata Indicom walky recently (September 2006) having number [protected]. The walky was installed but could not function from the first day itself.

I had registered a series of complaints with customer care "121" but the complaint (poor voice quality at the other end of the line) remained. The complaint numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected]

A service engineer visited my residence and confirmed that the instrument supplied was faulty and from a old lot of instruments. Naturally I demanded a fresh piece immediately. Tata indicom maintenance department person said that they do not have stock of fresh instrument. I have requested them either to replace the instument within a day or terminate the service with refund of the amount paid.

Today again the service engineer turned up with a old repaired instrument. Therefore, he was not allowed o replace the instrument. When there is a problem with the new installation, don't you have a policy to replace the faulty instrument with a new one?

I called up the customer service 121 again to register a complaint. The executive asked me to make an application for a new instrument which will cost me Rs 1000/- again. I have a new connection and the executive asked me to apply for new instrument! Ridiculous!

I asked the executive to cancel my number to save my additional Rs1000/- expense. He agreed to cancel the telephone and gave me cancellation number [protected]

To save my money in future and to minimise my exposure to Tata Indicom, I asked him to cancel my existing Tata Indicom land line [protected] as well (I am using this for the last 3 years). He agreed and gave me cancellation number [protected].

I feel cheated by Tata Indicom and expect refund of Rs 898/- paid by me and apology from Tata Indicom

Another reason for writing this is to give feedback to other customers

Many time I recieved calls from your department regarding finding my address by courier service people.In response to that, today [protected]) I made a call to 121 at 5:59 pm and suggested them some corrections in my address to make it easily searchable.In response to my this request I recieved a telephone call of some Mr Rahul of Tata Indicom([protected]) at 6:05pm to 6:08pm dated 21-01-10 to suggest him some corrections in my address like Delhi-110054 instead of New Delhi-110054, which was recorded in your record by your staff's mistake and also to mention that my residence is inside (THE MALL APARTMENTS) society which is quite famous in our area to help courier people to find my house conviniently.To which above mentioned Mr Rahul replied very arrogantly and rudely that it cannot be done without proof.When I told him it is a very simple correction which can be done on telephone request.The fellow replied in the negative, very rudely.Whwn I told him if you people won't corporate and will behave like this then I shall be compelled to shift to some other telecom company to which he replied we don't care if you shift to the other company.just dial 121 for this.

Hi customer service,

I am Rajan Chugh a resident of Whispering Palms Kandivali (E), Mumbai. I have taken the TATA INDICOM broadband connection in Jan’2010, paid initial amount of Rs1000 towards connection charges and signed up for plan of Rs 700/ mth for limited use (a/c [protected]). To my surprise end of month I receive a invoice for INR 3600. The service was abruptly disconnected. Since then I have sent mails and phone calls and they not corrected the billing. When asked im told that I have been billed for over usage, higher than even credit limit for this account. I fail to understand how can I use over credit limit when the service was not working for two weeks in the given month. When asked I am told credit limit is just indicative. Instead I have been sent legal notice threatening legal action. I regret making change from my earlier service provider, thinking TATA name will bring better reliability and service, Big Mistake ! When i called BROAD BAND customer care number they have told to write a mail to customerservice@tatatelecommunications.com. When I write an email, I am given customer service contact number, getting a run around. Beware consumers, before you decide on TATA INDICOM

I took Walky, wireless Phone, connection from my house at Gandhinagar, Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh and I also took one mobile connection in the name of my 80 years old mother at Visakhapatnam with the intention that I can contact my mother free of cost since such a facility is promised by Tata Telecom. My land line number at Hyderabad is [protected] and my mother's mobile number is [protected]. Surprisingly I am unable to contact my mother's mobile from my land line. When ever I dial the mobile number of my mother voice message is giving the reason as invalid number. I gave number of complaints some of the complaint numbers given by tata telecom are [protected], [protected] & [protected]. Plese guide me in the matter

I have applied for TATA INDICOM BROADBAND PLAN (In 3009 Rs. 3 Months Unlimited) on 5-DEC-2009 at Shivajinagar office, Pune. On
15-DEC-2009 I got call from TATA INDICOM that the photo on your Identification proof is not visible so please submit any other Identification proof. So on the same day I submitted my Passport Xerox as identity proof and the TATA INDICOM executive told me that you will get your connection in 48 hrs(i.e. 18-DEC-09). But after 48 hrs I didn’t received any call from executive for connection. Last Saturday(19-DEC-09) I called more than 20 times TATA INDICOM executive on his phone but he didn’t respond to me. Only once he replied me and told me that I’ll check and let you know in 10 mins. but after an hour when I didn’t received call I call him again. After 10-15 attempt of calling him he picked up the call and started telling me that “Sir this is not the way of calling me if I am not receiving you call that means I m busy. You should not call me again and again”.

Now it’s almost 2 weeks completed but I didn’t get any call for Connection.

I buy tata indicom prepaid mobile on 11th july 2007. My scheme was one year incoming free,tata to tata talktime worth rs 100 per month, before i recharge [powerpack] i confirm with customer care executive that this scheme was not affected my current plan, now this month tata indicom cut my tata to tata talk time, so who is responsible for giving wrong information, i talk so many time regarding this matter with customer care executive but they are responding me and on 8th august i become subscriber for caller tune, they are cut rs 28 from my balance,but still tata indicom does not provide my ringtone code. They are not register my complaint and not responding me. Really tata indicom is the top fraud company in india. I request you all the person who read this plz dont buy any tata product.

I am a subscriber of postpaid tata indicom mobile phone services. I had paid my telephone bill for the month of September on 24th September, 2007 through cheque and the last date for submission of the bill was 28th September, 2007. On the morning of 9th October, i found that i was not able to make any outgoing calls, infact my outgoing as well as incoming calls and messages were barred. When i called up customer care, they told me that all the calls were barred due to non payment of bill amount for September.since neither i could make any calls nor receive any, i had to suffer a lot in my job. Despite the fact that i had already paid the bill, i had to suffer so much. So now i want to file a case against the company and recover compensation for the same.

I am using a Tata Photon Plus connection ([protected]) for the past 5 months and suddenly my connection has been deactivated stating that my address verification has not been done. I paid the due amount even before the bill being generated and still cannot use my device for the past two weeks.I tried calling the helpline no and sent three different mails to various customercare ids they provided, received one auto generated response. No one even bothered to look into the issue. My connection is a corporate connection and this is being handled such a dismal manner. Whenever I ask for a solution to the customercare no they provide some other email id. The retailer is also absolutely worthless, Netwoth consultants, who do even bother to respond to repeated calls and when I went to disconnect the connection, they said the device is already sold and cannot be taken back and I need to visit some Tata indicom store to do the same. Such rude behaviour from the retailer and indifferent attitude from the Photon team is unacceptable. And to top that I am being charged rental for the time when my connection was actually inactive. This is ridiculous, can I take legal action at this point, because frankly I have reached the edge with such apalling service
Would like some advise from anyone who has faced such issues.

I was using TATA INDICOM'S DSL INTERNET CONNECTION SINCE PAST MORE THAN 1 YEAR.

The Connection Tariff was as: Unlimited Download from 8 pm to 8 am and if i use it in day time, then there was a charge of 40 paise per mb download. o charges for Upload.

Suddenly TATA INDICOM has changed my plan without informing me and without my consent and approval, they have changed the plan and charged me higher for the same plan. When, I came to know and inform them, they said, it was a mistake from there side, and offered me a discount of Rs: 100=00 for one year, then they told em that they can give me a discount of Rs: 100=00 for 3 months, they also agreed that it was there mistake but they will not give me anything in writing.

They have kept in dark and cheated me by charging new tariff. I was not willing to go for a new tariff plan, so I told them to disconnect my plan and send them an email also, but too my suprise, they have disconnected my connection and also refused to give refund. When I told them that i will file a case against the company, then they have given me a refund of difference amount of around 85 rupees in my bill, bt didnt feel sorry. It was my badluck that i have keep my trust on TATA BRAND, but they are least bothered.

They always give diplomatic answer, and dont give reply to the question which is asked to them.

I know that they are not going to build TAJ MAHAL from my Money, but they have got the punishment through TATA NENO.

The company people are telling me that the case is closed, and on the other side, nodal officer is sending me an email that they are investingating. Appellate authority is also givingme the same reply afgter more than 2 months also.

Please inform any NGO to contact me for helping me to file a case in CONSUMER COURT, so that the company can learn not to cheat the customers.

Please call me on [protected] for any clarification. I have got all the correspondance with me regarding this matter. They have also informed me that there are so many complaints pending regarding the same matter.

The undersigned got a call on 18th Nov, 2010 for payment of Tata Indicom from the No.[protected]. At that Time I have informed that I would like to discontinue the service of this plug to service and the customer care agrees on it.
To day I got a call from the same telephone number for payment for the month of Jan2011. As I told them that the request for deactivation has already given, the Customer relation manager Mr. Gurung has behave so rudely and threaten me to kill and he used so nasty language which is beyond my imagination.
Does Tata Group of company employ such in human being who does not know how to speak and deal with customer.
Please take necessary action against Mr. Gurung and he should sent an apology letter to the undersigned. I had paid all my bills in due time however Mr. Gurung alleged that his record shows that I have not paid for last six months. Is it the way to harass customer and threatened to kill the customer. I do not know what is his vested interest in collection of such payment?

As per the undersigned, dealing with Customer should be recorded for necessary action against such officer.

Hope for necessary action against MR. Gurung and deactivation of my account .

I have been subscribing a prepaid tata indicom walky phone for last one and half years. The no. is 040 [protected]. They will fully install an old system at my home in home and it had been giving several problems like unusual sounds, disconnection and quick battery discharge. Upon complaints, they said get it rectified at authorized service stations.

For last of couple of weeks, we are unable to receive calls as the incoming phone service has been not functional. However, we could make out going calls.

I also approached your authorized LG servicing center at SGM Mall, Mehidipatnam. They say it is not the problem with the system but due to some regulations and adjustments (according to TRAI) at Tata indicom services end. If that is so...what could we do now?

In this connection, I complained on 28th & 30 Th N0v 2006, But, no action or follow-up attention had been paid.

My humble request and suggestion to all such guys is... not to behave like public sector set-up like BSNL etc as being in service sector, they should be clear in their approach and actions.

In case Tata indicom is clear that they cannot do any thing in this regard, let me know, I am virtually ready to throw the phone out of my sight.

I am being frustrated by their billing methods every time I re-charge currency. The amount doesn't update in one single day and their compliant attending conscience is a big sham.

I, ANKUR KHETAN, user of Tata Indicom Prepaid service wide Moblie No. [protected]. I have used the DND service on 14th October, 2010 and my reference no. was DND07657874. According to this activation of DND, after 45 days, i should have no promotional calls on my mobile but even after the 60 days, promotional calls are still disturbing me.
From 30th November, 2010, i am continuously calling to the customer care for the above matter, but they have a single reply that their system is on upgradation and they cannot help me, please call after some time.
But in last 15days, their system are not upgraded.

please register my complaint.

The bill received by me for the month of Sep 2006 is baseless and totally wrong. The charges claimed towards internet uploading, downloading,usage are totally wrong because i have not used the internet during this period. When complained they offered adjustment of mere Rs.100/-towards this wrong billing whereas Rs.550/-have been charged in the bill. Also the amount claimed towards local calls is on very much higher side. They are not providing details of the amount claimed. I am helpless.

I submitted the instrument on 20-07-2010. I was told that I'd be receiving my PCO securtity depostit fund cheque within six months of depositing the instrument, which I haven't received yet. And since this february, I've contacted the authorities around 50 times but I've got only excuses.

How do you deal with thieves who say they are a company?
--> Late July, I wanted a Tata Photon connection. An agent gave me wrong information about which documents are required.
--> After taking my Rs 2, 500, the "manager" said the documents are wrong; he cancelled it and said the refund would take 3 weeks.
--> One month later, there was one phone call every day from me, "system issue, " etc.
--> Then the manager gave excuses like "he is in hospital, " with his friend answering the phone.
--> The "nodal officers" are all just workers in a call centre! Three months on, I was speaking with them every day for two days. No action.
--> The "appellate authority" is a call centre! I was speaking with them every day for two days. No action, except that Sangeeta Nair of Tata Teleservices called and confirmed my details. Two/three weeks since then, no action taken. (They took my money giving false info, now they don't get back; more than 100 days.) Sangeeta Nair of Tata Teleservices, along with maybe 15 others I have spoken to... all say it's a "system problem." But the "system" doesn't have my money; some people do.

I want to discontinue my tata indicom number which i bought with handset on installment basis, i was having 2 installments pending and i made the payment for that installments 2days back but they are saying that we didnt get any payment, i have the receipt for the same with me they told me that this payment will be updated within 2 hours and i will get a confirmation call but till now i didn't got any call or not even updated with the payments. Please look after over this aspect because my monthly rentals will not going to stop till the time my number is active.

I have applied for new TATA Indicom connection on 27th Jan2007 for plan of ARP99. The dealer gave me connection on 14th feb2007 when this ARP99 plan was closed. He gave me Business Silver 244 plan instead of ARP99plan. Now when i am asking him to take back the sim and return my money deposited to him he is not giving. He is misbehaving with me and other customers coming to him. He took my passbook of bank also and now when i m asking him to return all he is ignoring me daily and telling to come next day next day...

I have to take an action against him in consumer forum for his all these.

I have been using a tata indicom postpaid connection [protected] for the past three months. Outgoing calls have been barred scores of times in these three months. Totally unresponsive attitude. I have cleared bills on time. Even rs 1800+ in excess. Call rate applicable is re 1/min but unbilled amount is charged at 2.65 rs so the credit limit is reached in no time and outgoing barred. Not even the town head can help. Totally rotten company and antiquated and utterly stupid service.

they fail to send bills and threaten to disconnect phone. bill due on 17/4/2010, not sent. they call up on 21st and send bill and assure to collect cheque from home, but no one turns up to collect cheque or call back. now they threaten disconnection. it was made very clear by me that unless i produce hard copy of bill i will not be able to get payment from office. mobile no. An amount of rs 30/- has been deducted from my prepaid account saying that you will be activated the welcome tune as preffered by you .I have opted for the song, "andari daivamaya badrachalaramaih adukone prabhuvayya ayodhyaramaih" from Telugu movie "DEVULLU".This has been done at behest of Tata Indicom staff (lady employee) on 22-04-2011 at around 12.00 noon asking me to subscribe and deducted rs 30/- on the spot assuring me of the song being activated with in 2 to 3 hours.So far till date, till this time no welcome tune is activated. I have been complaining them after the time they have stipulated.I have been in touch with their customer care representatives who have been changed frequently. nearly 5 to 6 persons are changed .every time they are saying the tunes will be activated within two hours. But so far more than 72 hours are completed nothing is done.I request you sir kindly arrange to activate the said song or my amount is credited back.--Thanking you- R.Vivekananda.mobile no:[protected]

I have been raised a bill by Tata Indicom for internet usage upto 20th April 2011 inspite of the conncetion being cancelled & submitted to its office on 4th April 2010. The Company executives have been nagging up by repeated telephonic calls since last 15 days to pay the bill urgently - the bill for which I have not used their service at all.
