I am Ravi kumar Paka. I have taken the 'MAHARAKSHA INJURY PLAN' from TATA AIG. My policy number is MRP50000003693. I have taken this policy for myself. I want to cancel the policy since i want to take the Health Protector plan from TATA AIG. I am trying to call from the last one month but there is no response. When ever i tried to call they told me they will call back with in 48 hours or 30 hr or 15 min, but of no use. I am totally frustrated. I am not able to understand what to be done. Yesterday and today also i called but no response from them I also applied for cancellation of the plan at Hyderabad branch. Please tell me what should i do for the cancellation of the policy. I am paying my amount so i have right to cancel the policy when ever i want (From last one month i was trying). Please help me and call me back as soon as possible.

I took 2 Tata AIG Maharaksha Accident insurance plan. Later i called them to cancel both the policies since after reading the policy documents, i didn't found it much beneficial. There customer executive kept on calling me and they delayed the actual cancellation by almost a month that too on a compromise that they will substitute my one of the policies with health care policies on which i agreed but they agreed to reimburse my paid amount with deduction of only 99 rs from each policy. On receiving my HSBC credit card statement i was shocked to see that for one of the policies which i got canceled they deducted rs 99 and for other one they charged s 2300. I am continuously trying to resolve the issue by calling their executives from chandigarh to mumbai but resolution is still in abeyance.

Hi,

I also faced the same issue. As soon as I got my docuements of enrollment, I called and asked them to cancel my plan. They said they cant do it on phone. They asked me to send the Fax with the details. I followed the same and found no response from them.

Every month, they deducted some Rs. 304 from my credit card account. After 12 installments, they stopped deducting. I am not sure what is happening. Will there be any answer to this ? Will I get my money back.

I have a policy paid on 06 Dec 07 but till now I couldnt get the receipt. There are more than 10 numbers to contact but all of them are either keep ringing or engaged. Toll free number responce is just to reroute it and every time i have to tell the same story. This week end is the last day to submit my IT proofs the way they are responding is worser. They are not prompt in all this is the second year I am experienceing. Is their response is purposely from TATA management or from all employee? both case are not good. I have two policies that I am planing to to another insurance company. Is there any way to save me from these beggers?

It is really true that these customer care people are the worst fellows. They are never trying to solve the issue instead increasing the headache.. In my case also, it is near to a month, that have raised cancellation request, but still not yet the amount is unblocked in my credit card.
