Target shopping at target can get your car towed

Watch out when you park at Target. You might get your car towed with EZ towing. They are working together. Also at BJ and the other stores. I will never go to Target it again. They act like they did not call the tow company but you work together. I shopped there and then my car was towed about 30 hour later..And Target can give a rats a...

Um if you left your car in any stores lot for 30 hours they would tow it. They tend to take notice of cars that hang around for prolonged periods of time. Granted maybe if you were having car trouble, and went in to tell them "hey my car broken down in your lot can you please make sure it doesn't get towed?" They may have been more considerate.

You left your car on their property for an unacceptable amount of time. The parking lot is for you when you shop not to be abused by use as your personal lot. Can i leave my car in your driveway for 30 hrs?

Uhh...you shopped at Target for 30 hours? Jesus. Guess what, its a parking lot, not a driveway. And Target, like many corporations, might have a contract with a tow company. The company comes when the store is closed, takes note of what vehicles are still there, and if they are there the next night then they tow them. Target probably didn't call, idiot. Hey, here is a though, don't leave your car there for 30 hours taking a spot that another customer could use.

Target - mistreated employee and mistreated guests of store

I worked for target, for almost a year, after getting my first raise, a horrid 19 cents from working hard getting over 5 times as many ESP and Red Cards as anyone else in the store, Working in every section of the store minus Human Resources... I began to realise that working for target would get me nowhere. Sadly my friends at the store had all either quit...

Target laid off

I was hired in November 2008, working as a instock team, working so hard, because a lot staff was very heavy. I just had a baby in September and I needed money for my two girls. I was coming every time they call me to come for help. My mom came from other coutry to help me with babysitting my kids so I can work whatever time. And in January they told me that I was hired for seasonal and they letting me go! Other people hired in the same time like me stayed. They didn't offer me any other job. Now is and of Fabruary and I'm sitting at home with my mom and my 2 years old and 5 months old making no money. Anyway they payed me only $8.50/hour ! for such a hard work!
I think that's because they discriminating people from other countrys, and because manager is gay, I have nothing against but this one don't like woman, he just want you to lift heavy furnitures and other stuff without help and restock the whole store fast.
They proud of good scores in the district but everything is for show, especially when big bosses from headquarters coming pay a visit, they fixing the store for the 4 days before. You know that when customer press the red button/phone for help, someone have to come within 1 min, if not they loosing points, oterwise no one will come.
If someone looking for a job in Target I'm not recommending, they hiring people all the time because no one want to stay and no one getting enough hours (to many employees). Thay even hired new people when let me go. Total stupidity! Maybe because the HR Melisa is to young and unexperience with jobs and life, and how it is to have a family and raise children.

I have read everyone’s comments, and of course the target ex-employee complaint. I feel for those who have no feelings for other human beings, and who get satisfaction from hurting others by any means. I agreed with John 7777, who put it very nicely. Let us not forget how this county was build; read your history and have compassion. The Lord loves everyone and he has patience, but he will punish those who are cruel to others. You may think you are not doing anything bad by speaking such ugly words; how ignorant of you. As for blania, I know you are upset, but using words that reflect negative connotation against any group of people was not a good choice. So be selective of your words; it can be simple but not offensive. As for the job, I know you must be angry and it is hard to find employment with this crazy economy. Keep the hope, take that negative energy and put it to good work. Search the internet for all kinds of jobs. I know people that have taken 2 or 3 part time jobs, just to make ends meet. Pray to the Lord to help you find the job that will be suitable for you. Best of luck a friend.

How are they supposed to keep someone for guest service when that person can't even communicate? I have worked instocks, it isn't that hard. For the job that you do, 8.50 is plenty. And besides, if you were so good and the pay was so bad, how have you not found any other employment?

I have work at Target for two years now and I have seen and heard the same complaint from people that where hired on around Christmas. When they are let go they ### and complain for not being told they where only temporary. It's should be your job to find out if you are going to be working there temporary.

"Target probably fired you because of your poor English skills not because they are discriminating against you." Jason Tillo

"I never said they fired you stupid lady...No where did I imply she was fired." Jason Tillo

Dude! Where the hell are your meds!?

And why don't YOU learn a second language, like common decency or compassion, for example.

Also, if you are going to pick apart someone else's use of the English language (especially if it is that person's second language), you should by all rights consider the manner in which you so atrociuosly butcher it yourself. Your constant use of epithets to compensate for your inability to communicate intelligently and effectually is indicative of an ignorant, rebellious, and argumentative teenager, nothing more.

Leave the poor girl alone. The mouths she is concerned about feeding are vastly more important than the twisted ego you seek to feed. Your attack is completely unwarranted and despicable, and I feel sorry for you if you are the kind of person who feels empowered by such rot. There are, and never have been, people of a more vile or cowardly nature than those.

Target unauthorized billing

Target had their Britax Marathon convertible carseats on their website advertised for $42.99 ( there was another Britax car seat listed for $59.99). I immediately placed my order. My order has since been canceled due to a 'pricing error' on their part. Target claims that if they list a price for less than what an item is worth then they have the right to cancel your order. I think this is an unacceptable company policy. They do not have to own up to the prices they advertise online. If this had happened in the store they would have had to honor this price to the customer. I was even sent a confirmation letter confirming my order and listing my shipment date. The next day Target sends me another email stating they are canceling my order and offering me the car seat for $279.99.

Have you tried contacting your state agency regarding this practice? Or even the BBB? If they are not allowed to do this then the agency will fix it for you. I once had an issue with Ames and the weekly flyer that had great deals that were never actually available in the store. After I went to the BBB they called me and told me to buy the item at another store and they would reimburse me.

i honestly agree! i've been there for almost 4 yrs (thankfully i have one more week left and i regret placing in my 2 wks notice). i started out with $7/hr and i'm leaving the company making $7.64/hr. yes they do have their favorites. they only care about themselves and making money. the 4 that i read, my store has had that same stuff going around. what really gets me is there are people who say they cant close because they dont want to drive at night...then why are these people driving at 430-530 in the morning. they tell you one thing and a few days later they come back and stright up lie in your face. during the holidays, they give seasonal hires and their favorites the hours, everyone else nothing.

I've worked at Target for a year and three months now part time. A new LOD started this program where you're awarded a "bulleye buck" every time you get a guest to sign up for a RedCard. When you earn 10 bulleye bucks you win a grand prize of...drumroll... a $5 gift card! Their benefits are horrible. The employee discount is 10% off and you may only use cash or a RedCard to get the discount! I work where minimum wage is $8.25. I'm making $8.50 at Target to do all that bending over and heavy lifting groceries, doing other people's jobs that I'm not even supposed to like cart attendant. Last week I called to let an LOD (who was not available, typical) to let them know that I wasn't able to make it to work because I had taken an emergency flight out of town. Well the GSTL that I spoked to never told my LOD about my emergency so I received a voicemail from Target during my grandmother's funeral asking why I wasn't at work. I am receiving no bereavement benefits. There was an incident where I took my 15 minute break and they called me into the office because I came back 2 minutes late. I'm a college student and they threatened to fire me a week after hire because you're not allowed to change your availability within the first NINETY days of hire under any circumstances. I'm looking forward to saying adios to that place.

Target SODO (South of Downtown Orlando) is also the worst! I have never been late, never missed a day, I work hard and I have been a loyal employee but rather than give me a solid 40 hours work week where I could feed my family and pay my house payment but instead, they are hiring seasonal employees which will screw the loyal employees out of their chance to make a full work week's pay. I'm sure the ETL's and the LOD's get their 40 hours in, and they definitely pick and choose their employees that work the fastest so that Management can squeeze the hours down to nothing which in turn gets their bonuses but we are left without a half week's pay on our paycheck each week. We can't even afford health insurance. The majority of all the employee's working at SODO the week of Oct 3rd, 2010 have less than 20 hours of work on their schedule. When most employee's come in to work, they get sent home earlier than they were scheduled. But yet management gets to stay and get their hours.

Target won't advance any employee to a higher level (into management) unless they are working for a college degree. Many of us can't afford to go to college so even though some of the employees are working so hard and are more dedicated, they promote the students over the loyal employee's that they have. So much for working for the American dream There is nothing American about Target!

It's not funny but Target can afford all of their television advertisements, and they sponser the TARGET brand logo on NASCAR's STOCK CAR which costs millions, but do you think they could help their own employee's to survive? Hell no! Target SODO sucks! And what are the CEO's of TARGET taking home with their paycheck's and bonuses. It's a shame in this economy that Target does this to their employee's, especially when they don't have to. We all deserve 40 hour work weeks and health insurance. At least with all of this time off, it will give me time to look for a job that provides this to a loyal employee.

Target fraud and scam

I contracted with Zip to Zip Moving and Storage in June 2007, they moved some of my belongings from Boca Raton to Ft Lauderdale and the rest of my stuff was wrapped up and placed into storage. About a year later my payments were not being cashed, I researched it and found out their name and address had changed to Target Van Lines. They assured me that my belongings were just fine. In November 2008, my check again was not cashed. I have been unable to contact Target Van Lines, all telephone numbers have been disconnected, their web site no long exists and none of the Company Principles listed in SunBiz can be located by the telephone numbers listed. I do not know where the warehouse is to retrieve my stuff. I do not know what to do next. HELP!

Target Van Lines - awful in all areas!

I have found the US Dot # listed for Target Van Lines and the MC # listed for Target Van Lines now assuming business under the names of Moving Explorer and 123 Movers!

I am now beginning my quest for claim on damage to my belongings which were delivered. I have had some trouble due to the phone number being disconnected.

I hope that no one chooses Moving Explorer or 123 Movers!

PS. before choosing a mover - do not choose a mover that has US DOT # 1550967 or MC # 577165!

Target hostile work environment

Where can I file a complaint I indicated to store managers about various issues, and nothing was done. Due to the hostile work environment I was in, I ended up resigning.

I want to send a detailed letter to Target indicating all the issues that were overlooked.

I can go into details, but will, only when someone requests information.

Any information would be appreciated.

My spouse also is in management at Target. Therefore, I couldn't go to HR or ethics due to the fact it would jeopardize her position.

Please help... I don't know where I should be going with this.

Target defective merchandise and no compensation

In Dec 2007, about a week after Christmas, I went to Target to buy an Animated Penguin for my yard for the following Christmas. I did this because it was 50% off with it being an after Christmas clearance sale.. All Christmas items and decorations were 50% off. The box was completly sealed with packing tape and didn't look anything out of the ordinary. Because it was factory sealed or so I assumed, when I got it home, I stored it up in my attic unopened till this Christmas. When we took it out of the box, the penguin was missing it's head. I was very upset and went to Target to see what could be done. I was told that Target has a strict 90 day return policy. I explained that it was sealed and bought after xmas last year and I didn't know of the defect till this Christmas. I was told there was nothing that could be done. I was not offered any type of exchange, store credit or gift card. Nothing. It was not my fault that it was missing its head. My husband got so mad, he threw it in the dumpster when we got home. After all the years shopping at Target, this is what I get. No customer satisfaction, no effort to make it right. I have shared my bad ordeal with others so that they may beware of Targets bad policy and non attempt to make right of a bad situation. I used to love Target, now I will make it my very last resort to shop at and that's if I'm desparate.

Target check was rejected

I was doing some Christmas shopping at Target. At the checkout I wrote a check for the amount of purchase ($127.?) The check was rejected by their computer. I was aghast! I was embarrassed! Our personal account is never low on funds. So, I tried another check from another account. Same thing. Rejected again. NO SHORTAGE there either! With many people in line behind me I was humbled as they passed me to the customer service desk. It ended up taking me an hour of my time to find out that a check I had written there on Dec. 6th had been entered incorrectly into the computer which failed to allow my check to be endorsed on the back for the correct account. Long story short - TARGET'S ERROR - MY EMBARRASSMENT! I did further checking from home in the days ahead and found the problem was totally not mine. All 3 of the accounts we were dealing with had money to cover my checks. It will be awhile before I take myself to Target and risk being put through that again.
I was shocked when the lady said "Maybe you've exceeded your spending limit!" I said "I wasn't aware I had one"!
I doubt there'll be any compensation for my embarrassment! But I feel better getting the word out there.

Target false advertising

The two day sale flyer for the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving 2008 advertised a 2 gig thumb drive. It clearly says the price is $8.88 and includes 40 free prints. The website said the same. I went to the store and the package has the same information. It was a special deal between Target and Kodak and has the information printed inside the plastic package. "40 free prints. Who doesn't love free? 40 prints for you, from Target." You can't get much clearer than that! It also said "See coupon inside for offer" but you can't get to that unless you cut open the plastic package. I assumed it had some unimportant details such as expiration date.

Upon reading the coupon which was hidden inside, it turns out that this offer is not for 40 free prints. The coupon clearly states you receive 40 "free" prints with the purchase of 40 or more. This is NOT free. This is buy 80 for half price. I don't think I'm being overly picky here - this is very misleading and quite wrong.

I called customer service and spoke to a supervisor who took my phone number then put me on hold to research my complaint. After a few minutes, their system hung up on me. Since he had my phone number, I assume he'd call me back but he never did. I called back and finally got someone who took three tries to correctly record my phone number. I don't know what she was doing for several minutes but we never even got to my problem so I asked for someone else. That supervisor told me there was nothing she could do except for me to pay for the 40 prints and send her the receipt after which she would send me a store credit. While better than nothing, this is a lot of unnecessary effort on my part. I also have to trust I eventually receive the credit. What I wanted was some way to go to the store and get my 40 free prints without the hassle. But they don't know of any way. It took me 45 minutes on the phone to find this out.

Since it does not seem to be possible to communicate with anyone higher than customer service by phone, I wrote a polite letter to Gregg Steinhafel, President, asking how I could get the promised 40 free prints. I gave my address, phone number and email address.

About two weeks later, I received an email from Joseph who said he wanted to discuss this with me and to call him. He gave the customer support phone number and a reference number. I went through their horrible phone system again on Monday morning and finally got someone who told me he wasn't in yet but would be told I called. That was over a week ago and I still haven't heard from him.

I encourage everyone who was mislead by this item to write and complain to

Thursday December 18, 2008. I received an email from Joseph, Target Guest Relations, saying he would like to discuss this with me and that I should call him at the customer service number.

Monday December 22, 2008 at 9:30 I called. I had to go through many menus and none of them was applicable to me so I just picked one. Tom told me Joseph was not in yet but would be told I called and would call me back. (Why didn’t he just call me when he received my letter?)

Wed December 31, 2008 at 10 AM I called again and Mike told me Joseph, Cust Support Supervisor, was away from his desk but would call me. Mike informed me that Joe called me once before and left a message. I never received a call or a message.

Tue January 7, 2009 11:40 AM. I called. Mike tried to transfer me to Joe only to find he was away from his desk and would call. Mike said Joe is the only person who could handle my issue. I told him he was not doing a very good job of getting back to me.

Wed January 8, 2009 2 PM. Joe called. He didn’t seem to be up on the details of what had happened but is sending me a $20 Target gift card for the misunderstanding. I told him thank you but it was not a misunderstanding… the ads were wrong. He said he would have it looked into.

Thursday January 15, 2009. Received a call from someone in Consumer Affairs. Although the coupon is very ambiguous and poorly worded, it turns out it WILL be accepted for 40 free prints. It turns out that he purchased the same item and misunderstood the coupon in the same way. Ok, I stand corrected. But all of this could have been handled in one phone call had Target Customer Service just explained that to me during my first call. And the way I was treated after my letter is completely unacceptable.

Target rude worker

I'm sure most of you know about the economy in the US and let me tell you I live in Cape Coral, FL, one of the leading forclosure cities in the US. I shop at Target on a weekly basis and spend a bunch of money there...well not anymore. We went to do some xmas shopping and noticed a great sale on guitar hero with two guitars for wii. We were bummed because we had bought just the game a week before. We spoke to a salesperson, who was really helpful. We explained the situation and also mentioned we had thrown away the receipt. He told us no problem, as long as the game was not opened we could return it and get store credit and then use that toward the new purchase, which we were going to spend $60 more for. So target would have made another $60 bucks on us. My husband goes to the service desk and talks to this horribly rude girl who refuses to do this. We are told that without a receipt we can't even get store credit! We can get nothing. Shame on me for not saving the receipt, shame on target for not allowing their customers to return unopened merchandise to buy something more expensive? My poor husband was treated like crap by this girl. She was rude, mean and really not in the holiday spirit! I have four children and a husband and we shop at target all the time and spend a bunch of money there. NOT ANYMORE! I will drive across town to Walmart where you can return ANYTHING, they are decent to you, and I can save some $$, because they are less expensive.

SHUT UP. The person you talked to on the floor was probably seasonal help and didn't know anything about the return policy. You should've talked to customer service first. Also, the return policy is in place to-GUESS WHAT?- SAVE YOU MONEY. People out there scam all the time. No reciept, no return. END OF STORY. It's common sense to always, ALWAYS keep your receipt, especially if you're purchasing electronics stuff. You and Wal-Mart deserve each other. Go shop there like the trash you are.

no sympathy-- you should have kept the receipt for something that expensive. You have no idea how many different kinds of scammers people face in customer service all the time. Without a receipt they have no idea if you paid full price or the sale price, so they could not give you store credit for the full price anyway! Unfortunately, salespeople don't work at the customer service desk and have no clue- he should have had to go up and apologize for sending you to the customer service clerk in the first place. He wasn't "helpful" at all. And I doubt the customer service clerk was as "rude" as you claim- she just told you something you did not want to hear.

Target target card

Signing up for any Target registry is a bad idea, and signing up for a Target card is even worse. I purchased items at Target in Alpharetta, Ga. on Sept. 10, 2008 for my terminally ill sister. I was able to use her AmerX card for the transaction and sign for her in her absence. The lady checking me out asked if my sister would like a Target card, and said I could fill out the application for my sister, only if I gave up all my own pertinent identification for the process, and then she proceded to change the transaction to be applied to my sister's store account, I thought. I realized I had been duped on October 6 when I recieved a new Target card and a bill for $254 for my sister's purchases. I already had a Target card, why would I need another one? It is reprehensible that Target would take advantage of my vulnerability at that time, 700 miles away from home, taking care of a dying sister and outrageously lie, and lure me into opening a store account, for what I thought would be a justifiable act for my sister to make purchasing items easier. Target has refused to reverse the transaction back to my sister's AmerX card to be paid by her estate, she died on Sept. 16 2008.

You're complaining about a Target cashier taking over for your vulnerabililty? Such total lies and slander. Sounds like you were interested in the 10% off discount for applying for a Target Red Card, which you surprinsingly fail to mention in your post. Look lady, we all know you just wanted that additional discount because why else would you apply for some random Target Red Card without knowing the perks?

You should be blaming yourself for not taking the responsiblity of what a credit card will do to you instead of blaming someone else for your responsibility.

Also, it's pretty sad that you're using your sister's death in vain just to get people to feel sorry for you.

Good job being a terrible sister.

Target gift receipt

Beware of buying gifts at Target! I purchased a Leathman tool at Target for a Xmas gift. I requested a gift receipt and taped it to the back of the box. The next day I changed my mind about the gift and took it back to the store. I didn't bother to dig out the regular receipt...figured the gift receipt was enought. They informed me that they could only give me a GIFT card because I had a GIFT receipt. I was blown away. The gift receipt shows where, when and for how much the item was purchased for...so want is the hold up? Target is misleading customers with their gift receipt policy...it is underhanded and wrong. It isn't a gift receipt...it is a gift exchange slip.

Hey, before you get all huffy just lemme tell you something about Target receipts...

When you make a return at Target, they usually pay you back in the same form you paid them. For example: You pay for something in cash...you get cash back. You use a check...you get cash back after the check clears. (you get store credit before it clears.) You use a credit card...you get money back on your credit card.

Now let's say you buy a gift, and the person returns it. What good is it for them if YOUR card gets a credit? If it's a gift, usually it's bought by someone else, so there's no need for Target to credit the credit card.

It sounds to me like you're just mad because you didn't think to bring the original receipt.

Not Target...YOU! You made a mistake, and now you're complaining about Target, because why? Because you're a whiny baby that's why...

Target forced me to take a gift cards (320$!!!) instead of returning to my personal card

I asked them to look at Asus eeePC laptop (gift for my wife) and was told that they can't open it and I free to take it, check at home and return back if it's not suitable for me. I payed with 50$ Target gift card, 50$ regular visa card and rest with my personal credit card. Attention! Seller took 50$ visa card and didn't return it to me after payment. (now I understand that this is a their dirty plan actually and according to rules they HAVE to return it back to customer). Laptop appeared a too slow and screen quality was a very bad for eyes. We decided to return it back and were told that we can get back only 320$ as a gift cards, or to get back all the funds as it was before we need a visa card which they took before! (i was lied that they need to take such cards because send them to somewhere, but on visa gift site I found that they strongly recommend keep the card after payment). So, I was pressed to take a 1 gift card for 300$ and one small gift card with 20$. I said them that it look like a cheating, but they hid their eyes from me. They understand that it's not enough fund to start a lawsuit and probably this rules are provided from top managment, otherwise I don't see a reasons to don't return visa gift card to customer (saying we need to send them to somewhere). As conclusion - I have read another complaints and can advise people - Never buy Target gift cards - this is a root of evil if your frends will buy something and then decide to return it, in that case they, like me, can lost more that you presented to them. I said "lost like me", it because I am in a bussiness trip in Colorado and so I probably don't have enough time to spend such, lol, "gifts" in smart way. By old Russian tradition, probably will buy a vodka on New Year and will treat my American friends. Shame on you, Target staff, you are doing in not American way. God bless America.

I think Target has a return policy that is clearly stated in their stores. I believe you have 60 or 90 days to return something, but when you do return something, they give you store credit in the form of a gift card.

Target my bf order cancelled

On Black Friday, I ordered a Casio CTK-720 keyboard from target.com for my child, because its looked quite favorable. Although it said the keyboard would be shipped on 12/28, we were ok with that. However, it turned out just a hoax. After 10 days, target.com just simply cancelled it simply by an -email, saying out of stock.

There were many deals on Keyboard during that time period. Now most of them are gone. Target has wasted our time and money. It does not care about the customers. Will never order anything from it!

Please pass this on to as many people as possible.

I ordered 4 TomToms at midnight on Black Friday from Target. According to the on-line order page, these items were in stock. TWO weeks later, NOT one week later, I received the following e-mail from Target on December 9, 2009:

Dear Target.com Guest,

Last week, you ordered the TomTom XL 340S.  Unfortunately we are no longer able to obtain inventory on this item from the manufacturer.
As a result, we have canceled your order #[protected].   Please be assured your credit card has not been charged for this order.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.  We hope to see you again soon at Target.com.

Sincerely,

Target.com Guest Services

I called Target to let them know how unhappy I was about this letter.  I asked if they would at least offer something comparable for the same price to replace this order and was told they had already offered some out to other customers whose TomTom orders were canceled and that they did not have any left to offer. Target is not so stupid that they could not see this coming.  I will not order anything from Target on-line or shop at Target ever again.  They have lost my business forever.  Pass this on to as many people as possible.

Target target sucks

Hi,
I shopped at target last night.
I bought 4 items with cash.
I called the store when I got home
because I couldn't find my receipt.
I talked to the manager of the
electronics department who said
he would look into the system to
verify the sale. After 3 calls
he said he couldn't find it in the system
and to call back tomorrow.
When I called today I was told
that I could come in and get a printout
of the sale but that since I paid
cash I wouldn't be able to return
anything. I was told that there
was transaction information on the
original receipt that no one could
access but that without that I wouldn't
be able to return the purchase.
Now I have a paper with the sales
information on it but I cannot
go to the guest information counter to
refund my transaction for a digital
convertor when I finally receive
my $40. goverment coupon and rebuy
the item with the coupon.

see the printout here:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/8661615/Target

The supervisor said that the information
a person gave me yesterday on the phone
was in fact correct. I called yesterday
before I went to the store to ask if I
could return the digital convertor when
I get the coupon and he verified that I
could.
The guest supervisor additionally verified
that I could do so - but not without the
original receipt.
She added that I would have been able to
do so if I had paid with a credit card.
She also cited a policy that they allowed
a complementary one item return without a
receipt within a one-year-paid and that was
for any item $35 or less.
Apparently my fault in the issue is that
a) I paid with cash
b) I lost my receipt

I believe that they should have issued a duplicate receipt.
There were 2 supervisors and the sales clerk who
were aware of the problem and I think I acted
in a timely manner to rectify the problem of
the lost receipt.

At the very least it is lousy customer
service and I will not be shopping there again.

I would like target to do whatever it takes to
issue a duplicate receipt that is viable for
returns and exchanges.
I went in with the items and suggested that they
scan them in so they could void the original
receipt and issue a valid duplicate.

If they can't do that I would like them to
honor my government coupon and rebate me the
$40. for my digital converter.

Target order canceled

I ordered Yo Gabba Gabba Dance Mat @$19.99 and my information was accepted and I gave Target my street address plus my PO box number. If I get any mail from the US postal service
I only receive my mail if my box number is included. There should have been no problem to send to my physical address or my PO box, which ever target preferred. But No, Target canceled my order for no good reason. I feel I was cheated because Target decided they did not want to honor their advertised price. I will not order anything from them again.

Target target hits a new low in customer service

I bought a $40 space heater from Target. I only noticed when I got it home that was damaged, there were parts ratting around inside. I didn't even open the box. A few days later I took it back for an exchange. I could not find my receipt.

They would not exchange it for me since I didn't have my receipt and I had paid cash. I only wanted a new one! Also, it's like I'm being penalized for paying with US currency instead of credit.

The store manager said that they could not override the computer, and unless I find the receipt I'm on my own. He said I should fill out the warranty card on the heater and contact the manufacturer. Riiiight.

I spend at least $200 a week at Target. Correction...I USED to spend $200 a week at Target. There are many other retailer choices within the area(Walmart, Publix, Winn Dixie).

Target has now lost all my business over a stupid $40 heater.

You didn't have a receipt, so it isn't Target's problem. Why don't you grow up and learn something about responsibility. Don't expect Target to hold your hand and give you cash from right under their ###. This is business, so stop whining.

I can attest, after working there for 4 years, that Target Corporation cares nothing for it's employees. While they play big shot, donating this and that to different charitees, if an employee needs something...like a living wage...or enough hours to live on, you get the shaft. Yet the management higherarchy at store level, which in my opinion, there are...
