Target activating a new phone, wireless sales staff

I purchased an iphone the weekend after Thanksgiving to take advantage of the $250 gift card. The Target employee told me my old plan was no longer available and that I had to choose a new plan, (this is not true according to At&T). I also told the tech that I did not want insurance, (I have never insured any phone). Lo and behold I get my phone bill and I am now being changed for two phone plans plus insurance, ($391/month). I have been on the phone with my provider at least three hours and talked to several different managers and my bill is still not corrected.

I also called Target corporate to file a compliant. Besides getting my receipt information nothing else was done, not even asking me for my contact information. I can maybe understand making a mistake with the phone plan, but I told the Target tech three times that I did not want insurance. I googled later and found out that employees earn points for signing up new phones, selling accessories, and insurance plans. I am a very unhappy customer!

Target customer service at 21st and greenwich

I had a very frustrating experience today at my local target in Wichita. My husband and I both tried to download an app for the $20 off $100 in baby products promotion. Our iphones on Verizon wouldn't pull up the coupon. So we asked someone on the floor, they told us to go stand in line at the register and they would help be able to scan one there. So we did. The person at the register after ringing up our cart, said sorry we can't do that you will have to go to customer service. So we waited again over there. At customer service they told us they couldn't help us and we were just going to have to purchase the diapers without the coupon. My husband and I (and our two year old) waited a combined 30 minutes only to be told no one could help us. How do people do it who don't have smart phones?

Anyways, very frustrated that no one could think outside the box and help us. We left our cart full of groceries and $100 in diapers at customer service and left the store.

The promotion is intended for people with smart phones. Do you go to the car wash and complain that you can't get their discount because you don't have a car? Not every single thing is required to be available to every single person. Work on your sense of entitlement - it's a Target, man.

Target gift card

6 kids from Willie Brown Middle school was selected to get toys from the Bayview police station in San Francisco ca. from the "Target Heroes and Helpers program" for Christmas And not 1 kid got there gift card for 100 bucks, the police didn't give the kids enough time to turn in forms and for the kids that did get the forms in on time (which was 1 day) the police failed to notify the parents even when the school gave them the parents phone number, the police didn't inform the parents that they wouldn't be taking the kids to the target store until the last minute on the same day. The kids came home crying cos by then it was to late cos the parents didn't have enough time to reschedule their schedule They kept our kid's target cards, our kids got nothing--I feel the kids should still get their cards why should they have to suffer cos of the police station mistakes please make sure this get to the chief of police

Target shipping

Purchase of Women's Mad Love® Lydia Loafers - Black 11. I'm not returning these, but I have a [censored] with the shipping. You won't allow shipping to a PO box so sent to my physical address. Well the post person will not leave at my house b/c it is too far from the mailbox (not the first time.) So now it's at a post office that is very inconvenient for me to access and make my pickup. And I can only access it on Sat. A day I surely have better things to do than drive all over tarnation. So I don't get this, if it's going to end up at the post office why in the hell can't I sent to my PO box? It's just stupidity all the way around.

I totally agree with you, regarding the non shipping to PO boxes. I am lucky that my post office is close by. Also depending who is delivering, they will sometimes bring it to my front door.

Target pets

I do not want to see pets in shopping carts or in the Target store in Pasadena on Foothill and Union. This happened on December 1st at 6 pm. The pet owner had food in the shopping cart. I will no longer buy any food item knowing that the food has been exposed and contaminated. How do I know if the owner purchased the items or returned them back to the shelf? The guard at the door noticed the pet owner but said nothing upon entering the store.

Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs who's sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. (ada.gov/service_animals_2010.htm)

A notice should be placed stating and enforced by Target staff:

In order to respect the rights and ensure the safety of our patrons, we do not allow pets in this establishment. Thank you for your cooperation.

Concerned and Disgusted,
Emily

Target up&up wipes

The company responsible for the product of up& up baby wipes is propagating pedophilia by putting naked babies on the front of the boxes and I'm extremely shocked by the fact that it's being done and no one has changed the image on the outside of the boxes and packages. My children should not be able to see naked babies when they walk into a store nor should anyone else because it promotes pedophilia and it is child exploitation

Target target gift card

My nephew and his wife registered with Targets baby registry on our suggestion. We gave them a $75 Target gift card. My nephew and his wife were informed the balance on the gift card was $0 by the cashier at Target store in Goodyear AZ while trying to purchase a car-seat on black Friday, 11/23/18. They then checked the balance on Target.com, in which it indicated $0. The Card went directly from my wife's sole possession to our nephew who scratched off the code in the back to use it. We paid $75 cash for this Target gift card on 11/18/18. We have a receipt. We assumed the gift card was just not activated correctly by the cashier. We would like a refund for our purchase. Targets guest services did not seem to care too much on resolving our situation. Could not tell us much on the gift card even though we provided them with the receipt and gift card number. We would like to get our $75 dollars refunded. We feel we donated $75 to Target or Target just took our money. Please help us resolve this situation.

Target terrible telephone customer support for online orders

The in-store experience at Target is always excellent, but Heaven help you if you ever need assistance with on order placed online! Target's telephone customer service for online orders is absolutely pathetic! You will wait on the phone FOREVER to reach a live voice, only to find out that the live voice cannot speak English well enough to be understood! That's because they answer in the Philippines (outsourcing is an insult to workers here in the USA), and to make things even worse, the phone reps are poorly trained! It took three tries to finally get through to a "specialist" (the reps pretend there are no supervisors present). On the first two calls the reps hung up when we asked for a supervisor because we simply could not understand their broken English. When we did reach the specialist on the third try, she lied and did not follow through on what she promised to do. All in all, a total of THREE HOURS was wasted on the phone with Target's phone customer NON-service! We were forced to go to the store in person for face-to-face customer service. At the store, a pleasant young man named Kyle gave us excellent service. Kyle was efficient, courteous, and quickly rectified the problem. Thank you, Kyle. We were about ready to stop using Target forever because of the absolutely horrible experience we had with that attempted online order. Shame on Clarissa, that online specialist who did not follow through on the promises she made on the phone, and shame on the three individuals on the phone who preceded her - the three who most obviously did not care at all. Our shipment had to be delivered to the store (instead of to our home address) in order to get the two $5.00 Target gift cards. Even though we clearly selected our local store in Pennsylvania, the order wound up being delivered to Minnesota instead! What should have been an easy fix with the very first person involved on the phone turned into a painfully long ordeal! But no one on the phone cared enough to fix the problem correctly - not even that lying "specialist" Clarissa! So, "two thumbs up, " and many kudos to Kyle at the Stroudsburg, PA store for quickly and properly taking care of us. In fact, it is only because of Kyle's excellent customer service that we will now continue to shop at Target stores (we have been long-term customers) - but NEVER, ever will we consider placing an online order again at target.com.

Target online ordering for apple airpods

Order placed 11/26 - was not notified it was on backorder, was promised 2 day delivery, on 11/29 no order - called and initiated online chat, no help. Today 12/4 I see my credit card is pending another charge, first charge was on 11/26 - I asked for this order to be cancelled on 11/30 and online chat confirmed it was on 12/3 but no faith that any of the staff has helped me or cancelled the order. I will return it if it shows up but will file refusal with credit card if charge is posted. order number [protected] and case number [protected] - one gal online just dropped the chat box with me she did not reply, terrible customer service. Never order from Target online, no experience with customer service. Completely frustrated by this transaction.

Target up & up breast milk bags

I purchased the Up&Up breast milk bags to store breast milk for donation to Prolacta which is used for NICU babies at MU and other hospitals.

My bags leaked at the seal near the bottom of the bags. This didn't happen on all the bags (yet) but at this point several bags are already frozen and may begin leaking upon the thawing process which begins when they are shipped!

I didn't save the box (which prevents me from having a lot # for you) but I did save my receipt.

Several bags produced noticeable leaks! I lost nearly 50 ounces of breast milk that I know about! While cleaning up the mess I snapped a photo of three of the bags. I also lost my time cleaning all that up. While I am donating the milk, I'm reimbursed/ounce for my time and effort. This is $1/ounce. ($50)

I also had the cost of the bags that I had to pay for at Target. (With a $5/off coupon = $10)

Is there any way I can be reimbursed for my financial losses? I'm pretty upset about this entire problem. I don't want to try out more of this brand bags for fear of the same situation happening again. While I'm upset at my personal losses, I'm more upset that now 50 ounces of very valuable and nutritious breast milk will not make it to NICU babies that needed it. The NICU nurses literally refer to breast milk as ‘liquid gold' for its nutritional abilities with the babies!

Please make this right.

Target complaint

I had a very bad experience with one of your employees in the target mobile department in north brunswick, nj. His name is samir. He is a scam artist. He lied to me and told me that i could get direct tv service at my home without using a satellite dish. Deep down inside i knew he was probably lying, and i was right. I have a tcl roku tv, and last night he lied again and said that i could download the direct tv app on my tv.

I feel that he should be fired for all the lying that he did to me.

Target stocking in grocery department

I have been to my local target 3x trying to buy various products in the Grocery department i.e. coffee mate sugar free Italian cream, Birds Eye frozen Rotini Lentil noodles and many other items and they are not stocked. You have people stocking this department at various hours of the day blocking the isles ( don't they do the major stocking at night?) yet still woefully under stocked. I got to target to buy items in this department items that are far cheaper than the other grocery stores around me but you guy's have lost me as a customer in at least this department.

Target online ordering experience and horrible customer service

I placed an order #[protected] on Oct. 7th totaling $887.21. They were shipped on Oct. 11th and the money was deducted from my bank account. I received a call from EFW shipping saying they received the items damaged, and they were sending them back to target and I would be issued a re-order. I even contacted target.com to make sure this happened. As days passed I never received any updated information on my order or shipping of these items. I called Guest Relations to find out what was going on. They said it looked like they were having technical difficulties and could not tell me anything further. I then received an email saying my items had been delivered, which they had not, I contacted everyone in my neighborhood to make sure they were not delivered to them by mistake. They were not. This then leads me to call again, where I was told it was a technical mistake. A week goes by and still no update. I needed the dressers the week before so I called to submit a refund request. I was told they would submit my request and receive a call from a supervisor within 24 hours to discuss my case. No one ever called. I continued to call day after day for the past 2.5 weeks to figure out why I hadn't been issued a refund. I was given the same answers by everyone I spoke to wether it was the online chat or guest services over the phone. I was told I'd be contacted via phone by a supervisor or via email by the ORT team. This continued to not happen. Today is Oct. 30th and I put in my final attempts to get my money back. I chatted with a representative who actually lied to me and told me my order was refunded back to my RedCard and I should contact them. I stayed on this chat while I contacted the RedCard guest services. I called the chat rep out on lying and she asked that I give her some time to further look into my case. Then told me that the ORT team had my case and would be the ones resolving it. I have been lied to over the phone or through chat help several times over the past 3 weeks. I was offered a $20 gift card and then a $50 gift card for my frustrations but never a refund. I am sure you can go back and look through all the notes from the calls I have made and the chats I have held with target guest help. I wish the calls were recorded and if they are you will be able to see what a poor job these people are doing. The only person to finally help me was a lady that I reached through the RedCard Services. She went ahead and pushed the refund on her end and was going to contact the ORT team to make sure they didn't also issue a refund. But I was only able to speak to RedCard services today by finding the number myself online. No one from your guest services had ever offered up their contact information. I will absolutely never be shopping online through Target.com again. This experience was horrific and time consuming. The issue should have been fixed after the fist call. I have read Target's mission statement and what I experienced was the furthest thing from it! I have spent hours of my time away from my family and work trying to contact people to resolve my issue. Target should have been the ones working diligently to fix the problem. Instead I was lied to and mislead for 3 weeks!
I would like to know what target would like to do for my frustrations? If you would like to reference a case number the last one I was given is #[protected]

Target human resources discriminates and corporate doesn't want to do anything but let them

I recently applied at the Target store in Ward Parkway in Kansas City, MO when I saw a large banner posted on the building. I received a call from Victoria the next day, but despite repeated attempts to contact her was ignored once she heard my voice and realized I was not a teenager. A few weeks later I received a call from Mara telling me they were having a job fair, but when I got there I was told that as of that day they were only hiring for seasonal, but was hired on the spot. However when I went back to receive my job offer from Victoria she turned nasty. While the others were told welcome and that they could possibly stay on permanently, I was told I had to fill out my background check in 24 hours or be barred for 90 days, that once the season ended so did my job, and that I had to obtain a liquor license within 45 days. When I tried to read the information she told me to hurry up, it said what she had just told me and then grabbed it out of my hand. I used the computer in the store to fill out the tax and background check so I would meet the 24 hour deadline, but it only acknowledged receiving certain information and said there was a problem with the submission. When I tried to redo it, the background check was listed as completed. I went to tell someone to avoid the 90 day delay, but unfortunately Victoria had taken over the main interviews and after rolling her eyes said they would deal with it and to leave her alone. As a result of being hired I turned down another seasonal position in the shopping center that I was offered the next day.
I had been scheduled for an orientation on 10/2/18 but received a call from Victoria on 9/30 telling me my orientation had to be rescheduled but would not tell me why. I rescheduled for 10/16 due to a busy week ahead at my full time job, but did take off early on 10/11 losing 3 hours pay to obtain the liquor license. On my way into work I tried to drop by the store so they could make a photocopy since I had been told to obtain it within 45 days. The person at guest services called HR to find out what to do, and Victoria claimed she had never heard of me, why was I doing this, did they even offer me a job, etc. (she did not know she was on a speaker phone and I could hear everything). She finally told him to tell me to bring it with me to orientation and I told the person at guest services and left. A few hours later someone from Target called to tell me not to bother coming in at all since I could not follow simple directions. It had to be a Target employee since they only they and I knew I had obtained the license, tried to drop it off and when my orientation date was. I called back and told them I had received their message, but had never been told not to bring it in, only that I had to obtain it in 45 days. I tried to contact the other job but it had been filled as had most of the jobs I could get to from my other job in the 3 weeks since I had been hired.
After some delays I contacted the HROC department who flat out told me they let the local HR departments do what they want and don't get involved. I filed a complaint with the integrity hotline, and after they ignored my requests to call me on my cell phone if they wanted to talk, finally did so after I requested another person to handle the matter. She then told me that the HR at Ward Parkway claimed I had called in and said I didn't want the job, Victoria and the rest were never abusive to employees, and that when I had dropped by with the liquor license that Mara had actually gone out to the desk to meet with me, all of which are complete lies. When I denied them and then asked her why I would lose $50 in pay and $40 for the liquor license and then call myself and in a female voice tell me not to come in anymore she confirmed that I just wanted to do the seasonal job since it was the only one left with any number of hours within range of where I worked. She called me back later and said they had decided not to go on with the hiring process, though she would not say why, only stating they did not interfere with anything the local HRs did, even if discriminatory or illegal. She again asked me for the voicemails about the rescheduling and cancellation of the position. Originally the Ward Parkway HR had denied either had happened, then later admitted to the rescheduling and that I had not said not to contact me, merely that I didn't know if there was anything else to talk about. She also said I had signed an addendum saying I could have stayed on and therefore Victoria singling me out in the hiring room as not eligible was perfectly OK. I cannot find anything with that language and assume it must be the sheet she did not want me to read and grabbed out my hand. The good news is I never worked there, the bad news is I had someone I know call to get a reference, and even though I never even went to orientation, they are supposed to refer it to the HROC, and my only offense was obtaining my liquor license and turning it as told, I have been blackballed while the lying cheats in HR keep going under corporate's protection.

Target request for refund

If I could rate target.com less than 1-star, I would. I wonder how many people check this site. I ordered a gift online, typed the recipient's name and address and the gift came to me. It was returned the next day (free shipping both ways). That was on September 28th. I have a confirmation that Target received their merchandise back on October 3, 2018. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get a refund, that was supposed to be automatic. I called on October 15, 2018 and spoke with a person I could barely understand in another country. He confirmed that the merchandise return has been received but he could not do anything about my refund and I would have to call back "tomorrow." I've been promised by at least one person, on October 16, 2018, the refund would be processed "tomorrow." Having seen no refund almost 10 days later, I called again today. I've been offered a gift card, which was sent electronically and already received, but no idea when I'd get a refund. I've been told someone will be in touch with me by email about my refund but no idea when. I've been on hold (as I write) now for more than an hour (with the most annoying rap hold music).

Since I pay my credit card off monthly, this returned item has already been paid for. My credit card will be cycling again soon and it appears that I will not have my refund before that happens.

And as I write, the rep I've been on hold with now for 1 hour 20 minutes cannot promise me anything or when someone will get back in touch with me.

Target home delivery

I placed an order with Target on October 21. Target promised two-day delivery. No delivery arrived on October 23. Being a nice guy, I waited until October 24. At 10:50 p.m. on October 24, the third day after the order, still no delivery. I called Target Customer Service, who told me to wait two more days and then call back.

So Target's promised two-day delivery is completely false. I might or might not get my delivery in five days; if I do not, then Target Customer Service will consider my complaint.

I am fairly sure five days is more than two days. Target promised two days and cannot even make delivery in over twice that time period.

This is why Amazon does so well. If I order from Amazon and am offered two-day delivery, I actually get two-day delivery. If I order from Target and am offered two-day delivery, I am told wait five days and maybe your order will arrive.

Short your stock in Target and buy Amazon.

Target promotional gift cards

Promotional gift cards are not for the benefit of the customer. Recent transactions that I have made at Target show that I am still charged for the promotional gift card when the promotion is met. For example: if one was to purchase $25 worth of accessories and receive a $5 promo gift card...the customer meets the promo and then gets charged for the gift card! (see my picture for an example)
When you add up the numbers of the transaction...the customer is better off paying the non promotional price and minus the gift card!
I have called and utilized the Target.com customer service chat to express how confusing, deceiving, and ridiculous these promotion gift cards and sales are. I also left a complaint with Target's Guest Relations representatives and they don't even empathize. They state with uncompassionate response: "the policies are what it is, " or "I can transfer you to the Gift Card Department if you have more confusion." No. I'm not confused. I am complaining about how Target conducts these promo sales.
They are not for the benefit of the customer's pocket. Every transaction like this actually only profits Target and keeps the customer's money in their business making it look like the customer received a discount. Absurd and deceiving...

Target ordering online

Just had my second unpleasant experience using Target online to order something. The first time I ordered from a baby registry and paid for it to be wrapped, along with a card that I had typed a message on for my friend. When the package arrived to my house it was wrapped but the wrong card and message were attached. Of course I could not trust that the gift would be correct so I called customer service. They only offered that I should undo the wrapping to confirm the correct gift and nothing more. I had to ask for the wrapping charge to be refunded. Which then left me with an unwrapped gift, and no compensation from Target for THEIR error. Not acceptable!
A few months go by and I decide to try online ordering again. I ordered a pair of shoes for myself for an upcoming trip. With the two day shipping they should have arrived two days before I was to leave. When they didn't show up on time I called Customer Service and I was told that UPS had an incorrect address and returned the package to Target. I know that UPS has my correct address as I receive packages at my home on a weekly basis, so sorry Target but YOU are the problem once again. Since all of this occurred one day before I was to leave, then no shoes for me on my trip.
I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY AGAIN! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, AND ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!

Target woodlands store invaded my privacy and cursed at me

I had accidently walked out of the store with a headband and when I returned it I was confronted by loss prevention who then called in a cop. I was cursed at, called a liar, and had my purse searched even though I did not give permission for the search. Of course they did not find anything in my bag or on my person but the officer still wanted to charged me for having my prescription pills in my bag! I don't know what to do. He used the "f" word multiple times and did not respect the word no! Poor excuses for people put in a position of "power!" I was alone in the room
with 3 men and they invaded my personal space, body and belongings!
