Target customer service

I was in the Inglewood store on Century. On 8-15-17 around 9am -930. I was purchasing some back to school items & some household items. When I got to the register the air fresher rung up a different price than what the were ticketed on the floor. The cashier called the first manager which was no help. She then turned it over to another manager who came back & states someone switch tags on the floor. Well that's not my problem as the items is marked .I should be honored that price. He said NO. The tag said 2for 5. But was ringing up 5.49. He stated that the sale was for the single. I had the twin pack... I returned all my items I was purchasing & will take my business to another Target with better customer service. I live 5mn away from this Target & rarely shop here because of the customer service.

Target so wild and disrespectful!

It is beyond me to understand it. Today I've seen men entering the ladies restroom. What about rights of the majority? This is so wild to me. Why do your workers think it's appropriate? I wouldn't want to see men where they are not supposed to be. Women go there with their children and what you do just ruins their privacy. I'd better go to Macy's, at least they respect the rights.

Target baby registry horror story!!

To whom it may concern.

I'm not sure how many times I have to TRY to unsubscribe from any of your newsletters/ reminders. I went to the extent of visiting TWO different stores to make sure I was no longer anywhere on the list or any info of mine was there.

I don't have anything against any of your stores, I love them all. But having lost my baby while pregnant at almost 7 months I'm going to need a whole lot of time before I can come back to any of this. It makes me hurt more when I receive emails after emails ( even mail!) after unsubscribing every way possible . I definitely have unsubscribe successfully from other places but this one has been the hardest one. Almost 2 months later and I'm still receiving all this . It's very unacceptable & as I'm writing this I'm not sure if I'm hurt, sad or upset. So please can you help me stop all of this . I can't believe Target out of all stores is putting me through this

Target cafeteria target store employee

On Sunday, August. 13 2017 around 2:30pm. My family and I entered the Target store on Commercial Blvd and University Drive in Lauderhill Florida.

I went to order some food in the inside cafeteria but no one was attending the counter. After about 15 minutes a female cashier came out and walked pass me to go talk to another woman in the store area. She did not acknowledge me. Then walked pass me and went in the back for another 10 minutes. When she came out I asked her why she ignored me but she just mumbled and cursed and finally asked me "what do you want". I told her I need a manager. The woman she went to talk to came over and claimed she was a manager. Thus woman was not wearing a name tag or in Target attaire.
I walked away not ordering to find another associate in uniform and told her what happened. She said she would take care of it but stood there talking to another associate. Thus was not at a register. They were just standing and conversing. No apology was made and no attempt to correct.

Unprofessional, rude, and demining. BAD Customer Service.

Target managers attitude/approached

Hey my name is Yvette. Today me & my husband went shopping at 12350 North freeway Houston, Tx 77040. One of my worst experiences I've had. My husband & his friend were playing with a football from the store, & a male manager approached them stating they had to leave the store. When that happend the male manager got in my husband face with a bad attitude. Which I didn't like at all so I asked him who is him? He said he works at that store & was the undercover manager. I asked for his name & not once did he give it to me. Also, I asked for his supervisor & he said he was. After a while of an argument between my husband and him, I asked him why was all this going on he said he was also security which that does not make any sense to me. He kept threating my husband to leave the store in such rudeness. I started recording his actions & he came up to me trying to take my phone away, which he has no rights too. I have worked in a store for 2 years & I know how a manager should approach a customer. He also said someone had given them a warning but no one from the store approached them but him. His actions towards us was unacceptable to me. I'm just glad my son was asleep because he would of been scared with his attitude. Please call me when receiving this @ [protected]. Thank you.

Target store policy

Date/Time: 8/12/17 10:20AM
I was talking to the customer service girl asking to return then re buy what i had purchased the other day (within a few day span) because the cartwheel app had a 40% off the school uniforms now. obviously who wouldn't want that price difference? i had my fiance send me a pic of the receipt like we have in the past (Manny has let me do this before) where they scan the receipt over the phone and just given me the difference on a gift card. Which is easy and convenient! Thank you Manny! well this customer service lady short blonde hair didn't know the policies because she said they "keep changing" and doesn't want to get in trouble so called her manager Andy over who just said we cant without the receipt in hand?!?! ugh then why was i able to do this before?!? he said just policy sorry and walks away! Tell me what is the difference of scanning my receipt over a phone or in person? i was furious! i had to drive home send my fiance back because i was so mad and someone had to be home with our newborn so it was a hassle for one and a waste of time and my money and gas! i am really upset and they need to figure out there policies and everyone follow them! i will not be returning anytime soon. Walmart never has this problem when i go there! You will be loosing a very valuable longtime customer if you do not do something about this issue.

Target employee abuse

This complaint is about Store #2770, particularly about the HR manager, Karen, and the ETL store manager, Heather. My daughter works at this store, and as a matter of fact, this is her second time working for the Target Corporation. She is down to part time now, and she would like to keep her part time hours, but this needs to be addressed.
This has been an issue for the past couple weeks, but yesterday was the worst of them all. I have been having back and foot pain for the past couple weeks and I told Karen (HR) as soon as it became an issue with being able to work. She basically said that there is nothing they can do to accommodate me at work and that if I had to call out because of it I would need a doctor's note and that it would go against my attendance and if this problem persisted that I would get written up for this issue. I also spoke with the ETL, Allison, on this issue and she was very nice but Karen is the person who I had to contact. I ended up going to the doctor and getting a doctor's note but Karen said that it would still go against my record and it would only excuse me for one day. Now about the incident on 8/6/17, I was working a softlines salesfloor shift from 8-4:30. I diligently worked and was running around doing all that I was asked from 8am until 1:30pm. At 1:30pm, my foot pain became unbearable where I wasn't able to walk or stand without being in excruciating pain. I painfully walked over to TSC where Karen was at but she was speaking with another team lead Amber and I didn't want to interrupt. Unfortunately, I started having an anxiety attack because the pain was so bad and no one was available for me to speak with. So I ran outside of Target, unable to catch my breath and crying, numerous people passed (guests and coworkers) not bothering to ask if I was ok or help. When I was able to catch my breath, I went back inside, clearly looking very distressed and asked Karen if I could speak with her. She said she was about to leave but reluctantly went into her office with me, not bothering to close the door for privacy since it was clear that I was upset. This is the part that I'm very upset about. She showed NO SYMPATHY that I was distressed and unable to speak without shaking (my face clearly showed that I had been crying). When she asked what was up (not what was wrong), I told her that I had an anxiety attack (again no sympathy or care was shown) and said that I'm in a massive amount of pain and that I can't finish my shift. At the point it was probably 2:30, so I had about 2 hours remaining of my scheduled shift. She didn't show any concern and said that if I felt that I needed to leave that at this point, I was going to have to be written up by my assigned team lead next time I come in. I tried to explain that i was doing everything humanly possible to alleviate and resolve this pain issue. I'm doing physical therapy, seen numerous doctors, and taken prescribed medicine when needed but the pain would not go away. I'm very disappointed that the only full time HR manager has no concern for my well being and is unable to find a solution for my very serious issue. At the point, I have found another full time desk job so that I don't have to be on my feet as much but I am still working there on the weekends and some evenings. I like working for Target but Karen being the HR manager is completely unacceptable and should not be in HR because she doesn't want to help employees with anything that isn't convenient for her. I would like a resolution for the issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much. Kayla Sutton

Target red card

I was doing my review of my Experian account and found that Target had reported my account to the Credit companies that I was late. After contacting Target, complete frustration kicked in. I reviewed my emails for the past 3 months and while I found mounds of Target advertisements. The last Bill I received was in May. I looked a little deeper and while I found advertisement after advertisement, no bills until I hit the spam files, that is where they were delivered. Since I have had the card I have always made double, triple, sometime quadruple payments on this card. I did not receive any calls from them pertaining to a late payment, or snail mail notifications. They just reported it as late. Thus having an adverse effect on my credit report. Upon seeing my Experian report I paid the account off, and at this point have no Intention of continuing to do business with Target. When I called no one could help me with this issue, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they couldn't provide one. I was advised I would be called within 48 hours. When the call came in 3 rings and hung up...no message left. When I called the number back, I was advised, they were going to let the credit report stand, I asked to speak to the supervisor, again I would have to wait for a call back .They also let me know the reason no message was left was because it is against their policy. I admit I was late however having been under Doctors care and concerned about things other then their credit card, along with not receiving any statements, calls, or late notices, it was an honest mistake. Their phone staff do not have the power to resolve problems such as this, their automated system is frustrating at best and was still demanding payment even though the payment had already cleared my bank. I just kept pushing 0 until it put me through to an operator. In this day and age when retail companies are desperately trying to stay afloat, the lack of customer care and compassion at Target will eventually catch up with them. Between My spouse, myself, our 3 children and grandchildren are not shopping their probably won't leave a scratch on their cooperate Armor. So Disappointed

Target store layout

The new store layout that I've encountered in the Oak Creek and West Allis, WI stores is terrible. The dismantling of the accessories section and scattering it amongst the clothing means that I cannot find anything I'm looking for. I was 'assured' by employees that it's all still there - but good luck finding it! If this is a test run, target - please consider it a failure! I avoid those 2 stores like the plague now since I never find what I'm looking for and just leave frustrated.

Target service by sales associate

The target on City Line Avenue in Philadelphia Pennsylvania is being remodeled. I said excuse me to a sales associate and she continued to walk. I thought okay maybe she didn't hear me so I say a little louder excuse me. Well, Margaret an older white woman says what? I said excuse me because I was just appalled that a sales associate would be so rude. Margaret says again I said what?! What do you want? I said is that the way you speak to customers where's the customer service? The store is in disarray and I was looking for a registry kiosk. As Margaret noticed other customers and sales associates looking her time change and she shows me where the registry kiosk is located. As I am printing out my registry the manager comes over and says she's going to have a conversation with her I was satisfied with her handling the situation until I continued to shop. I noticed that the head of security was following me. I didn't know who he was until I asked a sales associate because I noticed he was following me throughout the store. As a loyal Target customer and cardholder I felt disrespected, profiled and embarrassed. I am a middle aged professional African American female coming from work so it was not like I was disheveled or unkept! I will be filing a formal complaint

Target store experience

7/26/17
Target store #2029
Glenwood Springs, CO

Terrible, terrible idea to change location of women's purses!
Purses used to be all in one location. But now they are all scattered through out the whole store.
Just an awful idea!

Not customer friendly, easy or efficient at all!

I used to go in, to buy a purse...and all I had to do was go to the purse section and select a purse.
Now... I would have to basically go on a scavenger hunt all over the store, to find a purse...they now have a purses sprinkled in jewelry-shoes-clothing-bathing suits-lingerie etc. etc.
Most customers don't have the time to shop like that.

I went to Target today, because I am going to a wedding this weekend.
I needed a white purse...but since the purses were sprinkled all over the store, in so many different locations...I walked right out of there... because I didn't want to take the time to go on a "hunt" for one!
I decided to purchase one at a nearby store instead.

For example: You need a pair of black shoes...do you want to go hunting for a pair in multiple areas of the whole store? Or do you want to go to the shoe section and see the whole selection... and easily pick a pair of shoes?

Most of the time, a customer wants to go in, get there items and get out.

Now... I know that Target would rather, have their customers walk around their store for hours...but don't try to force it upon us!

It is such an obvious & desperate attempt to get your customers to stay in the store longer...but in my opinion, you are just going to frustrate the majority of your customers.

I was so frustrated today, that I found a store manager. I asked him who's idea was it to change the purses location?
His answer: "That decision is made by Corporate".

Purse shopping at Target used to be easy (and fun)...not anymore ;(
Sadly, I have decided not to return to this Target.

RESOLUTION: Put purses in one location.

Thank you for reading my opinion/store experience.

Target employee

The lady tracy at the urbandale, ia supertarget was very rude to both guests and other employees. I thought it was very unprofessional and she was screaming at cashiers when they "did something wrong". I could tell that the cashier was about to cry and I told her she did a good job and I felt so bad she looked probably 16 or 17. I'm not shopping there again if I know she is still working there.

Target expired chobani yogurts and nut & valley bars

I have made at least 5- 6 times stops at Guest Services informing them of the expired Chobani Yogurts and Nut & Valley's Fruit Nut Bars. Twice I have requested to see a manager. I informed the managers on separate dates, both females one a white with blonde hair and the other a Hispanic brunette who stated they would notify the manager who is responsible for the Grocery Dept. of the expired items. Meanwhile, the expired foods remain on the shelves. Guest Service employees know who I am especially since I removed these expired items from the shelves and delivered to them at least twice. I have even told a male employee stocking nearby shelves day and still nothing was done.

I have bought the expired items consisting of the aforementioned products to Guest Svcs. after observing their expirations dates were 2 -4 weeks past their dates. And last month I picked one a NV Fruit & Nut Bars which were 6 months old last month. The expiration date printed stated December 2016!

The Target in question is located at 10155 Okeechobee Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL. 4 mins from my home. But yet I travel to Walmart for these items due to this stores neglectful behavior towards expiration dates. What lead me to write you this email was because my wife failed to notice an expired date of June 12, 2017 on a pineapple flavored Chobani Yogurt she recently purchased. I can be reached on my cell if needed [protected].

Target misinformation/false advertisement

To Whom It May Concern:

I am a loyal Target customer and have always had very positive experiences shopping at Target. However, I am very disappointed with a recent purchase that was made on Saturday 7/8/17. I initially went to Target seeking to purchase the iPhone 6s, as I had seen Target advertising online a $200 gift card for Verizon customers who were upgrading to this phone. When I went into the store, I was told there were no iPhone 6s’s available at this store, at other stores, or online, as the phone was being phased out. I wanted a smaller phone similar in size, and proceeded to look at the iPhone 7. I compared Target’s price to other stores, including Verizon and Best Buy. When researching various websites on 7/6/17 and 7/7/16 I looked at the phones available on Target’s website numerous times and saw the iPhone 7 was on sale and was advertised at $599 or $25 per month. When I went back to Target on Saturday 7/8/17 I purchased this phone thinking that I was getting this price. It wasn’t until a few days later I realized that I did not get that price. When I went back to Target’s website, the price had been changed to $749.99, and there was also an offer for a $100 Target gift card for Verizon customers that were upgrading their phone. I immediately called customer service and they were not able to provide any information regarding the original price I had seen advertised, and were not able to provide any solutions other than going back into the store and speaking with the electronics department. I made a third trip back to Target on 7/12/17 (only 4 days after the purchase) to discuss my frustration and to try and seek more information. After speaking with a Target employee for about an hour or two, no one was able to provide any information about the original price I had seen advertised on Target’s website. I was provided a phone number for Guest Escalation, which I later found out was not a resource that could help me. (As I understand it, this is only for security verification which has nothing to do with my situation.) The only thing I was offered was the option to return my phone to get the $100 Target gift card that was advertised for this phone the day after I purchased my phone at Target. I declined because I don’t feel that I should have to return my phone, and that should have been offered regardless as I was still within the two week window of my purchase. I am very disappointed with my experience and the customer service I received with Target, and will be making future phone purchases through Verizon. I expected to receive better service and support given the circumstances and the time frame in which I purchased my phone. If anyone can provide any new information or solutions, I would very much appreciate it.

Target target redcard

I am a store manager in retail so it's a shame when I want to shop as a customer and receive such poor service. I paid off my red card in September of last year with the balance that they said I owed. Here it is almost a full year later and I just get a statement for $13. I called to find out how to get this resolved and the person I speak with is so incredibly rude and smart [censor] apologizing to me that I just don't want to pay my bill. I was really frustrated and let him know how poor the customer service was but that I would call back on Friday to pay the balance if he thought I should owe it and he then said "well you can definitely do that" then hung up on me. I don't remember the last time I put in a customer complaint I guess it's our only recourse 🙁

Target loud employees @target speaking spanish

7/18/17
Just to let you know it has been 3 times I visited the Elgin, il store off Randall Road where a heavy set woman working there speaks extremely loud and in Spanish while speaking with other employees. So I told Damien the Manager that day that why she is so loud and feel offended as how do I know she's not talking about me.
His response was I can't tell employees not to speak Spanish as this is a bilingual store. I told him I will never return to that store as it is simple to tell employees speak more softly around customers. Another lady there shopping said the same.
I spend thousands of dollars there yearly as he seemed to not care and defended the loud employee. They are not the buying customer I am.
I will shop at Wal-Mart as they are much friendlier, respectful and more professional people working there. Glad u have management that cares about sales.
