Tandem Hairdressing Salon / Paid for a perm and left with nothing

I went to Tandem Hair dresser and asked for a large spiral perm. My hair is wavy naturally, but I wanted a proper permanent curl. I was nervous about it coming out as small criscurls, and asked the woman to give me a larger roller. She said it might be a relaxed curl and said we should go for the smaller roller. I said ok as long as it's not too small. She went away and asked her boss and came back and said, ok, let's go for the bigger one. I sat through 2 and a half hours with perming solution in my hair. I left the salon with wet hair, 1 or 2 curls, the rest went straight. My hair dried later, half frizz half dead straight. At the time, the hairdresser admitted that she should have gone for the smaller curler and that I could come back in 2 weeks time for another treatment with smaller rollers at no cost. Deciding a few days later that after one treatment, my hair was so badly dried out I wasn't going to get the second treatment, I went to the salon to ask for my money back. The hairdresser that was there said, 'you cant do a perm with those rollers anyway! She should have known that!' They will not give my money back or another treatment for free. R700 for a perm I didn't get!
