Takealot payment not updated

You guys took takes to find my payment from a source you provided as an instant payment- I reordered and now the things I want is no longer available - service sucks-I payed for my order on the 04th only after numerous calls and emails my payment was eventually found today, reason no one can explain. I called your call centre to change my order from brown to black and was told to follow a stupid process of cancelling the order and re-order and then item not available any more, what a stupid service, mxm

I placed an order paid via a source provided by takealot it took them 4days to trace my payment, to change product from brown to black i had to call be refunded and place order again, however when i re ordered the product was no longer available what crap is this, then i placed another order and now habe to wait a full month for mh things, mxm this is insaine

Takealot luxurious egyptian cotton embroidered plain white duvet cover missing

On 25/08/2017 I order goods to the value of R6063.00.
Order arrived on 01/09/2017

Had the order checked with my colleague due to being a big order
Order short delivered:

I then immediately called Unati- twice then Nazly then-emailed and contacted telephonically…all they could tell me is they escalating the query

A Michael Morgan then called to ask me questions regarding the delivery on Monday 4/09/2017.and promised me he will get back to me by COB
Until now I heard nothing…I am now ignored after the item to the Value of R1385.00 was short delivered and not in one of my boxes

I need someone to please contact me regarding the issue above

Takealot supply chain service levels

Good Day,

Received confirmation of upliftment regarding the incorrect item supplied.

Please confirm when the correct replacement item will be delivered i.e. 20 inch big blue string wound sediment filter cartridge (3-pack). I'm not satisfied to wait till the return has been finalised before corrective action is taken. I've placed three orders last week and there has been an issue with every single delivery, clearly Takealot's supply chain operation is an unmitigated disaster:

1. On 29 August I placed order [protected], instead of receiving a pack of 5 replacement filters for a reversed osmosis system I received 4 filters. I decided that it would be easier merely to go and purchase the missing filter from a competitor.
2. On 29 August I placed order [protected], I received the Big Blue cartridge housing, however received 5 x 10 inch sediment filters not 3 x 20" filters for said housing, now scheduled for upliftment.
3. On 31 August I placed order [protected], the tent was indicated as 'in stock' with the ground sheet having to be ordered in from the relevant vendor. To expedite the delivery I cancelled the ground sheet, yet the order remained in a 'stock allocated' status with no movement. I subsequently cancelled the remaining item (tent) and ordered a replacement item from the Cape Town warehouse.

I have asked for a member of management to contact me, I can only assume this request is purposefully being ignored, so once more I request that I be given Francois Retief's email address.

Takealot mr d services

I'm beyond upset! Mr D contacted me to inform me (20min after the call mind you) that they will be delivering my package.. Told them I'm not home, and I doubt I'll be home before 17:00 therefore I'll leave the money with the security guards and they can leave the package with them. I left work rushed to go back home to give the guards the money, when I got there they inform me the delivery guy was here and he has left no so long ago, try to call him, I'm told by the rude Mr D consultant/receptionist that he doesn't know his cellphone number or maybe he doesn't have a phone. I tell them I need that parcel because I'm leaving the province. We agree that I will personally fetch it myself because they failed to do so, and the delivery fee will be deducted! When I get there they still charged me for it. So I was lied to and angered!

Takealot bad service

I bought a George mason grinder set, advertised on takealot website as a set (2). I only received one grinder. I emailed takealot and Tariq said it's a manufacturers fault, please return for a full refund. According to him the manufacturers only supplied them with one grinder and not two.
Which is also a complaint, can't you let the customer know? The order states set of grinders, we only have one. Let's send it anyway, maybe they won't realize. Seriously?
I returned the grinder in its original packaging, only to be refunded R49. Yes I am also still trying to figure out what the R49 is for.
Now after numerous emails back and forth, asking for the rest of my R199 to be refunded, I got a coupon of R150.
But I only qualify for the R150 coupon when I spent R350 or more. Really?
I paid, paid with my bank card with a bank otp pin, PAID MY MONEY for that grinders. Paid R199 for a set of grinders but I only get refunded R49.
Luckily I have all the emails and all the names to proof that YOU are in the wrong.
And now after getting a coupon and not being refunded MY MONEY, I am going to take this matter to the consumer protection act. I have more than enough evidence.

Takealot delivery

I ordered stuff on Monday for my husbands birthday on Friday, all you info said that it would be delivered on Thursday so I thought let do this, (even though I have had previous bad experiences with you guys). And to my bitter regret got an email this morning saying that the parcel was sent to the wrong courier branch and will not be delivered today, so my husbands birthday is tomorrow and how disappointing is it not to wake up to a birthday with no presents. I phone customer service and obviously they could not assist me the courier company phoned me the lady took ALL my details and said she is going to see what she can do for me. It is al hour later and no phone call back so I assume you wont be helping me! So this just goes to show, that you cannot be trusted. I wont ever ever ever buy anything from takealot. This always happens to me for some reason. can be the area I am in as the other people that work with me has always received their order on time. strange... so good bye and thanks for nothing.

Takealot returns

I had purchased an item from takealot 5 weeks ago. After opening it, covered in numerous layers of wrapping, I realized that there's was a piece missing, and immediately contacted takealot via email (as it is their only means of communication) to which they informed me that they would pick it up two days from then and later replace the entire item. I anticipated their arrival by making arrangements for someone to be at home, and they did not pitch. After lodging a compliant, and rescheduling, they did not pitch again. And again. And again. And each time frivolous excuses made. We were then contacted to say we should take a pic of just the item that was missing and they would replace just that part, which meant we would have to unwrap the package (that we wrapped back in its original packaging for collection according to the terms) to be returned. We were outraged. Upon doing this, they then informed us that they have to pick up the whole product and we should wrap it up again! To which they did not come on the prescribed date! Frustrated as I took off work to receive them on this occasion, we were more pressing in our complaint this time, to which we were called back. By this time we were quite tired of takealots bad service, but they agreed to come today, and we specifically stated anytime before 1:00pm due to prior commitments, it is now almost two, we've contacted takealots dispatch center, and they have "assured" us that they will be picking up at 4! As they have a hectic schedule. Absolutely disgusting! Will never purchase from takealot again, and encourage others not to do so

Good Day

I purchased the Eco zoom zoom wood stove from Takealot and I opened it to find it was damaged. I really like this item so I want a replacement but the app does not recognize I purchased this item. What do I do? takealot have no contact number or email address..

No delivery arrangements have been made with me nor do Takealot know when the item will be delivered.

Which means that the info on the Tracking system is misleading!

Takealot delayed delivery

At the time I placed an order, all the items I requested was in stock. On the day that I was expecting delivery, I received an email stating that my order has been delayed due to one item not being in stock. I'm very annoyed, as I now missed the chance of surprising someone on their birthday. If I had known that the entire order would have been delayed, I would have gone and bought the item in store instead!

Takealot sauces

Good day

I have purchased a few sauces from Takealot I have received them yesterday !

When I checked the best before date two out of 4 sauces are expired and the other two expire within and month and the other in November! The seasoning salt that I purchased did not have a seal and was opened and also expires within a month or two !

Personally I think this unacceptable! Or it should have stated under description that products are expired ! There should be at least 6 to 12 months before expiry when customers receive products like these !
I have purchased many products from you and have been very happy thus far.

Please let me know the way forward and in future best before dates should be checked before sending products to be delivered!

Takealot poor customer service

Takealot advertised items and recieved payment but could not deliver. They did not return my Payment to my Bank account.
Their Customer Service did not respond to numerous requests
Customer Service at Takealot refuses to allow me to talk to Management
The incident occured between 24 August 2017 and 27 August 2017
I purchased various components to build an Audio system and they cancelled some components without consultation.. Their Customer service did not respond to my complaints. They refused to escalate my complaints. Their Management is unavailable for assistance.

Takealot delivery

I ordered on monday 10/7 my parcel. The promise that riefqa goolam made that my parcel will be delivered on thursdar 13/07 after se took of the berry hairdryer holder that was not in stock. Today 14/07 i did not reciev my order and the black bord is also not in stock.
I communicate with her by e-mail and that was never mentioned. This order is for my grandchild. It is a pitty that bad service is general at takealot. This was not my first order but definitaly the last,
recaal this delivery from the courriers.
Give back my money.

First of all, you guys have no number to get in contact with you. The ones online does not work! I ordered quite alot of books, expected a call or msg before it got delivered, but your delivery guy was so mean that I didn't accept anything from him and went back in. Takealot return of item

I ordered a lenova tab3 and Bluetooth speaker bundle for Christmas, received the goods, started using it and about few mnths ago, the screen was damaged, it looks like manufacturing issue, so I returned items to takealot. Takealot then investigates goods and said it was our own damage, so I asked them if they can repair it..after a few weeks I got an quotation for the repair and it was way more than what the actual item cost. I declined the repair and asked to return item so I can arrange repair myself. 2 weeks later my goods was return, only it was not the tab/speaker but a external hard drive. I notified them and they collected the item. Since then I made any enquiries about my tab/speaker and every time they will get back to me or will escalate and someone will phone, but nobody does, its been 2 months. The last conversation I had with them, I asked them to acknowledge that you lost the item and perhaps reimburse me, still nothing yet, its been more than 2 months now.

Takealot misleading information poor service

First of all one order was cancelled and now this order of mine has also been delayed [protected]. This was supposed to be shipped in 3 to 5 working days latest 23 June now this has moved to 30 June. I need an urgent answer on this delay.

Takealot incorrect product delivered

On the 29th May I decided to use taka lot for the 1st time, buying my son a GPS watch. Not only was he excited but so was I. I got a turn around time of 24hours when they came to deliver the item and was extremely pleased only to discover that the item that was delivered was the wrong colour. Since I was paying cash I asked the driver is I could send it back or take it back to the store as he said there was one right in edenvale so it was easier to call them and go exchange it. Since it was my first time I believed him and when I called to my dismay found out I now have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the company to investigate the issue and that they may or may not have stock of the item.

They picked up the watch quick enough but it is now the 8th of June and I have still to hear from taka lot or find out when I will receive my watch back or even if I will get my money back. There is no contact details or a single human person to speak to. It is extremely disappointing that I have not only saved up to get this watch and now have to sit and wait for my money back and to watch my child be upset over this as he was waiting months for me to finally buy it for him.

The service is terrible and it is very upsetting to see no interest in anyone resolving this issue.

Takealot not what I ordered

I ordered a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutation Basic Figures - Rocksteady and received the Bbob action figure instead. I was very upset as this was a birthday gift for my son and now I have no gift for him. The process to get this problem sorted out has been horrible, nobody has acknowledged their mistake or apologized. Now they just want to collect the product and refund the price I was charged for it, I also paid for delivery just so that they can send the wrong product to me on-purpose because they do not have the product that I want in stock...

This kind of service is ridiculous.

Takealot delivery guy rude and arrogant

Hi good day
I would like to lay a complaint of the delivery guy who was very rude as I had to look for my card to pay, he was impatient and very rude . He swore at me when I told him that this is bad services and he gets paid for his job and as a paying customer I need respect. He told me he doesn't work for me. What happened to a customer always being right. Takealot as a service provider I feel I did not get the Tfc service needed.
