Takealot Fast and furious couriers - rustenburg

We are very unhappy with the service of Fast and Furious Courier services. They were supposed to deliver our package mid-May. They did contact us but they didn't want to deliver the parcel at our door, he said he will arrange for someone else to do the delivery.
Then we received a mail stating that the order is being send back to takealot, that we cancelled the order but this is not true we never cancelled the order!

Is there anyone who could assist? Their (fastnfurious) Hellopeter complaints leave much to be desired. I cannot believe Takealot would use such an unreliable company for their deliveries. I haven't had an issue with them up until this fiasco and I am seriously going to reconsider my future online shopping decisions after this is all over

This is a very bad shipping company 😡😡😡I’ve been waiting for my staff for a very long time.. thy keep on telling me stories tht the guy who is supposed to ship my stuff is no coming to work as if thts my problem 😡😡😡😡am very angry and disappointed ☹️

Fast and Furious are very incompetent. Most of time they deliver very late. What hurts me most is that, on Thursday the 4th of March 2021, they delivered my package and stole my Amarula that I had ordered. They opened the box on the side and removed the Amarula. I am still very heartbroken because Takealot did not even to anything to follow it up with the courier or to replace my missing item. Pls always assess your box before accepting especially when you know it has alcohol in it. If you see anything suspicious, take your and record everything.

Takealot Problem with order

Hi, regarding order #[protected], it was scheduled for delivery yesterday so I made sure I stayed home to receive it. Nothing was delivered and nobody contacted me. Every single time I order something from takealot there is always a problem and it never gets sorted out.
Please make sure I get my delivery today.
This kind of rubbish service again and again is completely unacceptable.

Takealot Tom tom runner 3 strap

Hi there. My sons Tom Tom runner 3 watch strap broke clean off at the attachment point to the metal clasp. The watch was not dropped or mishandled, but broke whilst undressing.
The watch is approx 4 months old.
If you would like to see the strap to verify that the breakage is not due to mishandling, pls let me know.
My son is 7 years old, has saved like crazy for the watch and is bitterly disappointed at the breakage. A new watch strap has been ordered on take a lot for R499. Many thanks.

Takealot Service

I ordered pots from Take a lot on 19 May 2018, when the product arrived the quality was horrible, so I returned the item. Then I called to find out when I will get my refund as I paid cash, the people I spoke to at the returns department were extremely rude and unfriendly, implying that I should know online shopping processes and that I can't get my money back immediately. Which in my opinion is not good at all, I pay COD so I want my money back COC. Then I ordered new pots, I called several times, but on Thursday I spoke to Mikayla and she said it won't be a problem to offset the credit amount on my new orders, today when it arrived, the delivery guy (who is an absolute sweetheart, Willie) said he has to get paid in full, so I called again and spoke to another lady who could not assist me in offsetting the outstanding cash amount to the credit.
This to me was unacceptable, I had to leave and go and draw the money to pay the courier in full, while I want for my refund.
I do understand that you have terms and conditions and policies and procedures, but surely you can simplify this. You are not the only or the first company who offers online shopping, you should learn from Wish...
And I cancelled an order last week, they still delivered it today, what is going on with Take a lot.
Take a lot used to be my favourite shopping destination, but I am seriously considering using a different supplier, as the service are crap and the people working for you are very rude and presumptions.

Takealot Westworld

Hi Guys

Let me start off by saying I am super impressed that my order was delivered two weeks ahead of schedule!

However, If i am paying R 375.00 for a book I expect that book to arrive immaculately. Due to poor packaging it has arrived with damage to the soft cover so the treasure I waited to obtain for over a year until you guys offered it for sale is somewhat of a let down.

Takealot Nappies not delivered

I bought two boxes of mega boxes on takealot on the 14 may. I was told that my order was delivered to the wrong address and ill get my delivery in a week. Fine, only one box was delivered. And I have been calling ever since to try and get my other box.. But with no help.. Your consultants are very unprofessional and unhelpful. I have been sent from pillar to posts.. I ended up spending more money now on buying nappies, whereas I already paid for my nappies by you guys.

Please sort this mess out, asap.. I'm really pissed off with your guys pathetic service. Give me my money back if you cant deliver. I will never ever buy from you guys ever again.

Takealot Delivery

I would like to ask why your delivery process is now so hideous? What has changed? You used to be so efficient and buying stuff online was a breeze but now you're absolutely my last option because of your delivery process. I was supposed to receive an order today, 21st May but you have just sent me a message to move it to tomorrow. (order #[protected]). I don't sit at home the whole day waiting for you to deliver my stuff. If you give me a date, stick to it please. I am highly disappointed in your services.

Takealot Incorrect product delivered

I am really irritated with Takealot and the service just seems to be getting worse every time. The systems in place are so excessive that it's actually just a pain. It's a Friday afternoon and I was so looking forward to receiving my order so that I could use the stuff I bought but because it's a Friday afternoon your systems can only accommodate me on Monday which is absolute BS. You have your strict policies in place ie. Spend more than R450 for free delivery, you have to wait 2 days for your stuff to be delivered etc. but when it arrives it's the wrong product. I don't think it is fair that I should spend my money with Takealot receive something someone else has ordered because they've obviously been mixed up and then have to wait a week for the issue to be resolved. If you want to have such anal resolution systems then don't make so many mistakes or at least be a bit more accommodating because it is your mistake and not mine.

Takealot I'm not hearing anything from anyone

Im not getting response from no one as they collected my return and i need a new device and its the 4th day and nobody got back to me what so ever and it is unacceptable and on the tracking on return it still says collection scheduled and this is not acceptable or fair to the customer as you say 2 to 3 days and still i am WAITING so when will i hear from you guys as when i order again that its gona take another 4 to 7 days before i receive my new product

Takealot Poor service

I am highly pissed with takealot and there services they expect u to pay for something before they deliver and then dont do there jobs, I had made my first order on takealot and paid via eft was informed buy sms immediately that they payment was received and that estimated delivery was the 08/05/2018 before the 08/05/2018 and on the 08/05/2018 I was notified by sms that it will be delivered on the 08/05/2018 between 8 - 5 being my first time buyer I assumed they call u when they are in ur building, however the driver come by 11 and did not contact me then left and I immediately received a sms that I was not able and they the product would be reschedule I would understand that happening if I was called and I was not available however that was not the case, I called the call center would advised me that the driver will turn around and I asked would the driver call me when he is in my office I was advised yes and waited all day for the call, my friend had also made an order and the same happened when calling the call center again before 5 we were notified that the driver had came back but at 4 and once again did not call as promised and left again, this is utterly unacceptable how is this customer service when u are [censored] ur customer

Takealot Delivery / customer service

Hi. This is not the first time I have bought something from takealot and its also not the first time that you have sent the parcel to the wrong place.
I ordered and paid for these items on the 18th of April and I still have not received it.
the agent that was dealing with me was able to give me an address of where the parcel was sent to but no contact no so I have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered.
this kind of service is unacceptable and I am tempted to cancel my order and write to whichever publication that shows and interest.
I was told 2-3 working days delivery. it has been 2 weeks already and no one has let me know whats going on .

Takealot Incorrect delivery

Takealot delivered incorrect item. I ordered a 1.8m folding table and they delivered braai charcoal instead. Its been over 24hours now and they still haven't collected the charcoal and still has not notified me as to when my folding table will be delivered. I needed it today. So much inconvenience caused. If I knew takealot makes mistakes like this I would have purshased the table elsewhere.

Takealot Service

Order [protected] driver came with 2 deliveries to remade Angie Towsens was delivered but he took my box back without asking reception to call me i have screenshots i called 13:31 to inform takealot what the driver did and the lady promised it will be delivered before 5 today i was waiting although remade closed at 4 i waited. I calked again 16:49 and they said no it wont be delivered. It is upsetting so i waited for nothing and they dont even inform me it is not a smaal order it is R702.00 and the one for monday is over R600 . You record calls i want that wiman that took my call at 13:31 to explain why she said it will be delivered and it was not. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS YOU CAN CANCEL ALL ORDERS EVEN MONDAYS ORDER AND I WILL PUT THIS ON HELLO PETER TO

Takealot Delivery

I ordered and payed for my ordered. It was displaying all in stock and got estimate date of delivery. After the delivery date passed I phoned to find out Was then been told their is no stock on one of the items.
I was then been informed that it Takealot is just the platform not the seller so it not there fault that stock is late although it did mention in stock on their website and still do.
I was then been told a email will be sent and there is not estimate time of when I will get feedback I just have to sit back and wait and wait. The fact that I am not going to be at the arranged delevery place did not matter. When I ask to speak to a senior person I was been put on hold until l was eventually been cut off.

Takealot Returned item - not yet credited

Purchased a Girl's Mermaid Tail Swimsuit - Hot Pink, Size 8-9 years at R299.00, order no. [protected], on 14 March 2018. I logged a return on the same evening because the item was too big and didnot include all the pieces as advertised, received a 1 piece as opposed to the advertised 3 piece.

I dropped off the item at Skynet (waybill MDX1467029 )on the 5 April 2018 after numerous unsuccessful attempts to collect the item from me.

To date I have not received any positive feedback regarding my return(RRN-491a-c94f) from Takealot.

I have attached the last 3 email conversations between Takealot and myself.

Your assistance will be appreciated in getting this matter resolved.

Takealot usb cable

No delivery, stupid kimberley branch [protected]. I resheduled for the following day my dilivery as I had to leave. The next day no one delivers and I dnt get any contacts, I call later and speak to Nikita who says she doesnt know why they did not deliver on the 19th of April, then o get a message that they tried to deliver but I was nit there! I was home the whole day waiting for them to come, and no one came. This is very dissapointing

Takealot Terrible customer service

I called in to find out if the warranty of my laptop would cover theft and if so what steps I needed to make. I provided my order number to check the warranty and this woman says to me I should just place another order and that they are an insurance company. I tried to explained that all I wanted to know was if Lenovo covered for theft for this particular model, I could not even get to ask what their agreement with the brand is. As a person who worked in Customer service for so long, I find it very concerning that agents at a company like Takelot are not trained to speak to customers who genuinely need help or information. This lady was sarcastic and offered no solution to my issue and I am aware that our complaints are not taken seriously but these people need to be trained on their attitude.
I would like this lady to be taken to more training or reprimanded for such a bad attitude.

Takealot Product return

I returned a dvd and during the process Takealot indicated its eligible for return. Suddenly after takealot received the dvd I was informed my return is rejected altough the item is in perfect condition. Altough I am still not happy with that I have been waiting 2 weeks already for my dvd to be returned and when I phoned today to enquire I was told it was send back to the warehouse. Seeing that its my dvd and its paid for what right to Takealot have to send my dvd to the warehouse and not return it to me immediately? The operator on the phone talks like this is not serious not even offering an apology for their blunder. If there is the smallest mark on my dvd when I receive it it will be returned immediately and this time I will demand a cash refund!

Takealot Delivery and false expectancy

I paid for my items on the 31st march and was told expected shipment by the 11th april and delivery by the 12th april, now suddenly my shipment is expected by the 17th and delivery by 18th april, no communication was made to me saying there was a delay or anything it just changes. I wish there was some sort of communication and really hope i receive my products by the 18th, I'll be highly irritated if it delays further.
