To make a long story short there was 4 people 2 a room. You get up by 4:00 clock a/m bus pick's u up in front of the motel not hotel, 'motel' after that u head 2 class 4 2 days of learning nothing but sitting in class for about 10 hrs to get your class hrs needed u do plenty of paper work that u take 2 the motel to turn back in the next day watch videos on driving a 30 min map training class but a 3 hr test.If your lucky enough to pass that witch i did so u can now it's the 2nd week and u start your RANGE training they take you out 2 the truck show u 1 time how to do it a pretrip whatever skill u have 2 do and from that point on you are on your own with only the help of other students it is a RIPP OFF they only want your money you pay $3500 for the training then another $500 4 the motel and they have classes that start EVERY MONDAY. To make it really CLEAR 2 YOU how it's a MONEY SCAM WATCH THIS AT $3, 500X17 STUDENT'S starting on monday that's $59, 500 FOUR THAT one WEEK plus the $5004 the motel so $500x17 students starting on monday =$8, 500 totaling price tag of $68, 000 that's right there making sixty eight thousand DOLLARS a WEEK and somtimes more depends on the size of the class coming in on monday u are just a person 2 sign all that paper work saying if u complete this b/s program you owe nothing GUESS WHAT U HAVE TO COMPLETE IT FIRST and most DON'T if u Have NEVER driving truck before That is not the place u want to GO and if u have driven truck they make it harder 4 YOU, SO all i a can say is DON'T BE a SUCKER like me [protected]

Never make business with Swift Trucking. They will hire you and never tell you the amount you can earn. I worked for a month and all the stuff is always quiet and don’t want to talk about the payment they get. After a month I understood that my balance is negative as I spent too much money on driving and they refused to pay for gas.
Swift Trucking needs to start doing random drug and alcohol testing on their drivers. I know one driver that drinks heavy from the time he gets off til 2-3 hours before he gets behind the wheel to drive again. That to me is dangerous for all drivers on the road.
What a ###... seems to be another uneducated person on here. On the Swift web site they clearly explain how much you will be paid... and how much training is... here .. I cut and pasted this from the Swift website...
The Cost of the Program is $3900 and the optional housing is an additional $500. The Tuition payment is Aprox $37.50 per Paycheck after 13mo you will have paid $1950 Swift will match your $1950 to pay off the Tuition. From that point forward you will start to be reimbursed that money so by the time your w/Swift 26mo you will have been fully Reimbursed your $1950 and your School is FREE. If you don't need Assistance w/the Tuition you can pay $3900 upfront and Swift will Reimburse your ENTIRE $3900 after just 6 months of Employment.
What a complete ###... Are you kidding me? Swift clearly states how much money training is going to cost you... In addition to the training the instructors are there to help you. When you are doing your pre-trip training the drivers practice over and over again until they get it right and the instructors are there to ask questions. If you had difficulty with the pre-trip it is your fault... Where did you get your info... Yes, the training cost you $3, 900 dollars... But with your simple math you idiot you did not take into account that you don't have to pay $3, 900 up front nor the $500.00. They take this money out of your check. $37.50 per check. After 13 months that equals $1, 950. Swift forgives the rest. Here, I cut and pasted from Swift's web site how the driver training program works...

You idiot.. Swift is not making $68, 000 a week. Most students do not pay the tuition up front and after one year Swift matches your Tuition of $1, 950. Then after 13 months Swift reimburses the $1, 950 over the next 26 months. Which means your school is free. Stop telling lies. 90% of the people that attend there training program pass.
